Constant delivery problems with no help at all from so-called "Customer Service."
1. Hardly any 'guaranteed' delivery dates being met.
2. Items lost in transit with no updates on site.
3. Appalling responses from customer service.
4. No access to anyone that can do something to help.
5. Overall Amazon France is damaging Amazon's Brand - badly.
6. Evident that staff simply do not care.
7. No responses to email.
8. Huge delays before any refund is forthcoming.
9. In a word useless.
10. Currently have about $300 dollars of paid for goods. In the wind.
Recommendation: Order any high ticket item with fingers crossed.
Amazon.fr's Shady Business Practices with Chainsaw Orders
I done went and order me a chainsaw on amazon.fr for a good deal at 45 bucks, but then them folks went and canceled my order cause they said it was a pricing boo-boo. Ain't that just the pits? And to top it off, they didn't even offer me no good gesture for the inconvenience. The real kicker is the next day, they go and jack up the price of that same chainsaw to a whopping 130! Now, all the other stores sell it for 80! It's like they tryna prove a point or something. Ain't got no time for that kind of shady business.

Amazon France is not a good place to shop. They charge too much money and they are not honest. I have had problems with them for the past two years. They charged me over and over again for a subscription that I did not want. They stole my money! It was over 167 euros! My recent experience with Amazon.fr was terrible. Their customer service is the worst that I have ever dealt with. Unfortunately, my recent bad experience occurred two weeks ago. Most of the items that I had ordered got lost and even though they were marked as delivered on the Amazon website, I had not received them yet. I sent messages to Amazon and their suppliers alerting them to the delivery address and requesting that they call the number on the address before or at delivery. Unfortunately, no one bothered to do that. Ultimately, my items were left on the floor at the address, which is problematic. Only a few of them were found later, as the rest vanished. It was obvious that other people had taken them.
However, when I requested a refund from Amazon, they didn't place the blame on themselves but on me, and this was unacceptable. They claimed that I wasn't eligible for a refund, and this was outrageous. Furthermore, all of my comments on the relevant products were removed by Amazon, and this felt like a dictatorship and monopoly. Ultimately, I was forced to contact a lawyer because customer rights must be protected. It was a robbery!
To conclude, Amazon.fr's customer service and their methods of industry control leave a lot to be desired. If you are thinking of shopping with them, you should think twice.
Abominable Service from Amazon.fr - Do Not Recommend!
Lemme tell ya, I ain't too happy about my experience with Amazon.fr. I placed an order, ya know, and they went ahead and took the money from my bank three whole weeks before they were even supposed to ship it out! Can ya believe it?
But the real kicker is, they sent me an email after the delivery date had passed sayin' I could cancel the darn thing if I wanted. So I reached out to customer service and they told me there was a good chance I wouldn't get my order for another six weeks. Six weeks! But they said it was probably best to just go ahead and cancel it.
I asked the gal on the chat why they even took my order in the first place and then she just disappeared on me! Can ya believe that? I started the chat back up and the next lady told me she didn't think the order would ever be shipped. And all she could offer me was a measly five euro coupon and even said her manager yelled at her for it! And then she disappeared too!
Listen, I gotta tell ya, Amazon.fr's service is pretty dang abominable. They don't seem to care much 'bout their customers and they don't keep their word. Y'all might wanna steer clear of 'em.
Terrible Experience with Amazon France for Collectors Edition Pre-Order - Avoid at All Costs
I recently had a very unpleasant experience with Amazon France (amazon.fr). Let me tell you all about it. I pre-ordered the Hogwarts Legacy Collectors edition back in December 2022 and paid a whopping 311 Euros for it. The item was released on February 7 and was processed through customs the next day. However, I was then contacted by DHL and informed that there was a problem with my customs clearance documents and I needed to sort it out with the Internal Revenues Office. This took quite some time.
After some thought, I decided I would rather just send it back and maybe order it again next time. So, on February 20, I contacted DHL and asked them to stop the package and return it to the sender. They agreed, initiated a new Waybill number, and sent it back on February 21. I never even saw the package in person.
I immediately contacted Amazon FR to let them know what had happened. However, they informed me that due to the cost of the item, it had to be returned to the sender first before I could receive my refund. Two weeks went by and I contacted them again on March 5 to inquire on the progress. That's when they lied to me, telling me that the package hadn't been received yet. Frustrated, I contacted DHL again and they informed me that the package had actually been delivered to the sender on March 1, and they even provided me with the waybill number to track it.
I reached out to Amazon FR once again and explained the situation all over again. This time, they told me that the package had been received but not yet processed, and that it may take up to 10 days. I had no choice but to wait. Every time I contacted them, I was given different information and excuses, and it was starting to feel like they were just stringing me along.
Finally, on March 11, I contacted them again and provided all the evidence. After checking, they informed me that the previous agent had given me false information and it actually takes 30 days to process. At this point, I was completely fed up. Why did they keep giving me false information?
I strongly advise against using Amazon France's services. Their customer service is simply not up to par and they lack professionalism. It is not worth the headache and frustration that I had to go through.

I have been buying from American and German Amazon for years with excellent customer service. I recently ordered from French Amazon and encountered appalling service. I ordered 3 bras with incorrect information and wanted to return them. I sent the packages according to the rules to the address provided on their website and the three packages came back to me (there are pictures of the packages that show the address they were sent to, a sticker refusing to accept by this address and an invoice for another 25 euros for the delivery to this address). In their service they disclaim responsibility and are ready to return the money. It's not my fault that the address they send to doesn't receive the packages. When she asks for an answer in English, they write in French. Just complete disrespect. What to do?

Amazon France Review: Huge Selection & Fast Shipping, But Confusing Layout
So, I went to Amazon France and it's super cool. The selection is huge and I had no problem finding what I needed. The prices are also pretty good. I mean, there are definitely some items that are a little pricey, but that's to be expected. Shipping was also really fast and I got my stuff in no time.
The only thing I didn't love was the layout of the site. It was a bit confusing at first and I had trouble finding some of the categories I was looking for. But once I figured it out, it was fine.
