Door to Door salesman was professional, gave me a detail breakdown of what they do, how they do it at a more than resealable cost. Tech who came next day, also set expectations of what and how he was going to do the inside and outside of my home. I'd recommend listening to Door to Door sales ppl, specially past their sales pitch, you'd be surprised what they have to offer.

I am EXTREMELY disturbed by this company. This review may or may not be for this location, because I'm only certain that it was ANTHEM PEST CONTROL, and I will make sure to inform about the RUDE SERVICE receive across the board, regardless of which location it was. This behavior reflects the company AS A WHOLE. The sales representatives were so friendly AND the guys who performed the services. However, the CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT is EXTREMELY disrespectful and non-empathetic about situations CAUSED BY THEIR COMPANY. Nobody wants to take ownership of mistakes made. The CUSTOMER SERVICE (BILLING OR WHICHEVER DEPARTMENT IT WAS WHOM I SPOKE WITH) blames the "Miscommunication" on SALES ... ALL THE TIME. Then, when one representative had an INCORRECTLY CHARGED fee reversed from my account AND APPROVED BY MANAGEMENT, the next TWO MONTHS I continued to receive a PAST DUE NOTICE for charges that should have NEVER BEEN in the first place. So, I call back AFTER THE SITUATION WAS SUPPOSEDLY RESOLVED THE FIRST TIME, and I speak to a young lady who reads from the screen what she sees. She acknowledges the incorrect charge AFTER I had to show her proof of the "past due" billing statement that I had JUST RECEIVED moments before I contacted them about it; considering I only went to this extreme because she tried to (after acknowledging the incorrect amount and notes were on my account from another representative) convince me that the remaining fee was for upcoming services. Which is it lady? Is the charge for an upcoming service fee or not, because she clearly saw that the notes stated the account was incorrectly charged. So, after I sent the email proving that the remaining balance on account was relating to an incorrect charge (per the statement received by Anthem) she transferred me to A VERY UNPROFESSIONAL YOUNG LADY NAMED EBONY! Not only was she unprofessional, but she was not empathetic about my situation, tried to convince me that the fees were NOT correct, and when I explained that they were NOT and for her to allow me to explain, she continued to try and get her point across. This made me really upset. I then walked her through a CRASH COURSE in Customer Service and told her that I needed to speak to a manager. Afterward, she continued to dispute me and hung up in my face. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY DUE TO THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE ALONE TO ANYONE!

I am really tired and dissatisfied with the service provided by this company. They charge you for services that do not perform according to contract. I contracted for pest control interior and outside the house. They come unannounced, leave, and then invoice you for service performed. It is evident that they are not servicing the interior of the house since no one calls nor knocks on the door. And they are invoicing for a service not provided. I had to report a claim with them and told them that their techs are not treating inside the house as contracted and that there is no way I will pay for services not rendered. They had to resend the tech back out to treat the interior. The tech did a vey superficial job, did not replace the glue traps, skipping areas of the house and not cleaning the cobb webs as they say they do. I gave them one more chance, and this time they failed again providing the service contracted but they did not miss sending an invoice for full payment. I do not want to hear about this company again and for those of you looking to hire their services, be warned.

Anthem Pest Control *** Serviced-10/3

Serviced-10/3. Julius *** serviced our home today and I just wanted to say that I was very impressed with his service. We are new with the company and was on the verge of cancelling our contract due to poor communication and missed service without any explanation until he showed up. I would like to thank him for his attention to detail and honesty. I will always request him to service our home. Please hire more individuals like him. Thank you again.

Sales rep *** was very professional and had great customer service which is what won me over! I was not interested at first but Hunter took the initiative to pay the discounted $10 fee for the first treatment service! He went above and beyond to win me over as a customer and that says a lot about this company! 2 days later the technician Mario Barnes came out to do the initial spray. He explained what he was going to do and was very professional! His customer service was beyond my expectations. He took his time treating the inside and outside of my home but he did it in a timely manner. I highly recommend anthem for your pest control needs! I look forward to doing business with them in the future.

technicans aren't doing the job that i agreed to, he don't sweep for spider webs, he don't spray for mosquitoes unless he knows i'm watching him, he arrives not in the morning like i requested instead he comes after 12 pm... i have no intentions on renewing my contract

This company showed up at our door, no mask, no permit for solicitation as required by our city, on Memorial Day. It is absolutely unacceptable for a company to come onto my private property in the middle of a pandemic with total disregard for my and my family's safety and well being. The solicitor didn't even have the decency to step back from our door a few feet. A company that has so little regard for their potential customers' safety is not one I would ever consider doing business with.

Very unprofessional. They canceled on me twice just in the first month of starting service with them. When I called their customer service to complain, the lady blatantly said that they are not responsible for their technicians.

McKay came out today to service our property. We've been very pleased with every tech that has come out since we switched to Anthem. And the proof is in the fact that we've had no problems with "pests"! We highly recommend.

Anthem Pest Control Today an agent from Anthem Pest Control knocked on my door

Today an agent from Anthem Pest Control knocked on my door. He could see me working from home in my office during the Shelter in Place order and kept knocking and became aggressive. I went to the door but would not open it because of the Covid-19 Shelter at Home, which I yelled to him through the closed glass door. He was angry but left. I called Anthem to let them know that they should not expect people to open their doors right now and felt this was not appropriate. I was told that they have a permit to knock on doors and solicit business and will continue to keep their teams in the field. I would NEVER do business with this company.

Austin Maser came to my house trying to sell me on using Anthem Pest Control. I was not interested at all but he was so kind to explain the service and all the ways they spray to keep the bugs out... very detailed and VERY professional. He sold me! Then today Jerry came to service my home and I was very impressed with his professional manor. He explained what he was going to do and was very attentive to what I was wanting as well. Was careful with my pets to ensure they were safe and I felt totally taken care of! They both told me to watch out as the bugs may come out more after the first spray but that they will come back in 3-5 weeks and that service will wipe everything out! I felt like they lived up to everything that I was promised! Great job Austin and Jerry!

Edin came to my home early and waited to fully service the inside and outside of thoroughly. He took his time and used granules in the yard, spray in the house, and replaced the pest baits in the garage. Excellent Service todY by Anthem Pest Control!

They came to our home in an HOA neighborhood posted as no soliciting. I text the sales guy when he would not answer my calls. They are I. Our neighborhood quiet often and are pushy and will not reply to request to hear from management about staying out of a neighborhood posted for no soliciting. Check reviews on Yelp etc and beware !

I live in a covenant neighborhood that it specifically states no solicitation as you pull into our only entrance to the neighborhood. The sales flunky said he knew it was but didn't care and continued to press me who did my pest service. As I stated to him a company who does a great job and didn't have to go door to door pressuring homeowners.

Anthem Pest Control My property was serviced by technician Justin *** on 8/21

My property was serviced by technician Justin *** on 8/21. He exceeded my expectations. He was very thorough on treating the outside of my home with both granule and chemical sprays. When I mentioned a problem with silverfish due to the heavy rains he took it upon himself to go out to his truck and grab some silverfish-specific poison pads to place around my home's interior. He even took the extra effort to place some in the baseboard space between the baseboard and carpet where I had mentioned I saw a silverfish hide. Upon leaving I mentioned that I had noticed an ant hill in the yard and he spoke up and knew exactly where it was and had already treated it. Overall, Justin did a fantastic job! He is also very friendly and personable. I hope Justin is assigned to my home again as he is really the best insect control professional I have yet to encounter with any company. He represents Anthem very well!

A representative came to our home and I disclosed the home was being sold. The rep stated this was fine and I could cancel since the home was being sold. After it was sold which was approximately 6 months later I was advised this service had to continue otherwise I would need to pay a fee. In addition the person that answered the phone admitted that they had been having issues with reps selling the service and not being forth coming. I was advised to call in March and the cancellation would be granted. Today they are stating there are two more services that need to be done. I have a pest control company with the new home and there is no need for this one especially after the rep was not forth coming. I requested a manger to call me and awaiting that call. While I understand the rep was trying to secure a sell one still should be honest and since the company was aware of the tactics utilized this should be canceled.

Anthem Pest Control I've been using Anthem Pest Control to service my home for the last 17 months

I've been using Anthem Pest Control to service my home for the last 17 months. This past week I originally called them to question about a payment being taken out when I thought that they called and cancelled the service but upon further investigation it was not them but another company. So for that I apologized. However during that call, the representative said that a technician had been to my home on the 27 of September to service my home. Now I have cameras all along my property and a technician NEVER came to service my home. No knock on the door, no ringing of the door bell, nothing. So I explained that I would just like to cancel them as I have no desire to do business with a company that is dishonest. I was charged $99 for a service that was not completed. I was then told that "They understand my frustration, they can send another technician or charge me $175 dollar fee for early termination of my contract. The same contract that became null and void when they did not complete the service per the contract! I was appalled! I told them you charged me $99 already I feel that should be sufficient enough payment considering the service was not provided. They offered me two options to allow another tech tot come out or because I am 7 months away from my 24 months (the term of the contract) that they could cut my cancellation fee in half. So at this moment I'm out of $186.50 because they won't cancel my contract that was voided through their actions. I advise if you're going to use this company to make sure they are ACTUALLY doing their job because God forbid you find out they haven't and feel as I do, not wanting to spend my hard earned money with dishonest people, you will still be charged!

Anthem Pest Control This was the worst experience with an Anthem technician we've had to date

This was the worst experience with an Anthem technician we've had to date. I didn't learn the technician's name until I saw this review email. He did not introduce himself or provide a business card (all of the others have). After he said "I'm here to treat your house" I asked him if knew I requested an inside treatment. To which he responded, 'well, where do you want me to treat then?' Every other technician that has come in the house has sprayed the baseboards with no question. It seemed like it was a trouble to him to come inside and spray. He also was not careful with the spray and simply flooded a number of areas in our house- to the point that I was tracking it under foot all around our hardwood floor. He also pumped his spray canister on our hardwood floor instead of doing that outside. Matthew was not very friendly to me or my husband and we're pretty upset because every other tech has been great. When I mentioned on our last re-service that the technician laid more sticky traps than usual in our basement/garage (around doors, garage doors, under workbench, by trash cans, he responded and said 'well, you only need a couple, just by the garage doors. When I sprat I spray so well that you don't need that many traps.' I didn't appreciate this response - i shouldn't be led to question what kind of service I'll get each time someone comes out and I expect for my requested needs to be met. Asking for a few more traps than normal (because other Anthem techs decided we needed more) shouldn't be too much of a request. I also inspected our front porch after Matthew left to make sure webs were swept and they indeed were not. I would have also expected to webs and leaves to have been removed from the motion light over our garage doors - they were not cleaned. Based on this experience I wouldn't recommend Anthem to a friend or family member.

Anthem Pest Control Pest control stealing money out my accounts without doing any services

Anthem pest control is a hoax! Luars! And dont di they jobs! They currupt antics and no shows are illegal and distasteful! Anthem pest have not been to my home since 1/2023.. Because I have not been home and when I was gomi had compant and famikt memvers and anthem pest control has not serviced my home in over a year yet constantly stealing monet frim my account stating they came to my home throygh gps! Gos stated tou drive there not that you used any products or even got on my property wuth my 2 putbulls in yard! How? You didnt! Anthem pest control are theives and I want all my money and they lued about contract wich I did not sigb.. Wich is a breach of information! Refund my money and stop stealing and soliciting! I also have locked fence! No shrubs was done to my home!

Claimed loss: $$390.00

Desired outcome: REFUND ALL MY MONEY!! ITS HARD TIMES IN AMERICA TODAY!

Anthem Pest Control Pest control

We have been with Anthem for sometime now and every time they come out they have to come back and respray. They also send out a technician that finds excuses not to come out. I have told them not send that technician because I’m not comfortable with the service he does. They said they would not send him. They sent him out despite of that and when I said this was the last thing I was going to deal with them I wanted to cancel them. The tech on the phone threatened me with a cancellation fee of 249.00. I asked to speak to a manager and she said she was busy. I have no record of contract and I asked for the contract where I still do not have it. This business is horrible and are scamming people. I will definitely be telling my friends and family to be aware of them!

Anthem Pest Control On April 8, I contracted Anthem Pest control to help to assist with fruit flies that are in my kitchen and roaches

On April 8, I contracted Anthem Pest control to help to assist with fruit flies that are in my kitchen and roaches. They have informed me that they are unable to get rid of the fruit flies. They further advised that we need to pour bleach in the kitchen sink. and turn on the hot water. Needless, to say it's has not worked. They also continue to spray on the outside of the home which does not help at all and charge my card for $89. This is simply not working. When I informed them that I am no longer interested in their service because it is not working for me, they have informed me that I have signed a two year contract. They have informed me that if I break the contract, I will have to pay them $249. I am seeking your assistance in getting out of this contract because it is not working for me.

Anthem Pest Control Bugs are out of control

Bugs are out of control. Had them come out multiple times and no better. Want to charge me to cancel but they never fulfilled their obligations. Changed from terminix (never had issues) because they convinced us they were better. Have had nothing but problems. Bugs are horrible. Service techs lazy and rude. Customer service is a joke. Spoke with Carina, all she would say is we will get someone out there in 3 business days, even after asking to speak to a supervisor, she said no one was there. She put me on hold, then came back to tell me a supervisor told her to tell me to have our attorney email them. I just want to cancel their non existent service without the fee. I should not be libel for that when they did not fulfill their end of the contract. This company is a joke and a scam. Stick with better known brands like Terminix.

I have been trying unsuccessfully to reach this company. There are numerous phone numbers that lead to nothing but hold music that eventualy cuts you off. One number that is related to a search, belongs to an individual who told me hes tried repeatedly to notify the company to get it removed. Ive sent e-mail and text messages, left voice messages - gotten no response. I was charmed by the representative they sent to my neighborhood last summer when I was plagued with *** bees, so agreed to give the company a try. Based on the lack of communication or service from them, Im reaching out to you for assistance

I have called Anthem Pest Control and canceled my account a few months back they are still coming to my house and still trying to charge my credit card. I called today to check the status of my account and they told me they can only cancel my account that I aleardy canceled if I pay a $200 dollar cancelation fee. This company seems to be dishonest and misleading from the initial sales agreement we were told that we could cancel at any time if we didn't like the service at no charge. The manager also hung up the phone on me while I was sharing my disappointment in the company.

Anthem Pest Control Service was misleading from the start

Service was misleading from the start. Initial treatment did not address all of our concerns as promised by sales rep. *** up service was inadequate, the lady was apparently new and I was told she no longer worked with the company. They sent another rep out. Still not treating for cockroaches. Third treatment, still not addressing concerns. I told the guy in person we seen a *** in the kitchen and restroom and he never treated those areas.I've texted and asked for a manager to call me. I've emailed twice and I've called and left a voicemail. Absolutely no response.I still see roaches and ants and the problem has not been resolved, nor treated adequately. This service has been a scam. Not only do I want my money returned but wish to withdraw my contract. Would not want to do two years of business with a company that does not care about their clients or hold up to their promises.

I have a current contract with this company. I have attempted to call for a week to find out when my contract expires. I have left 2 voicemails, sent an email, and waited on hold for up to 30 minutes twice and still haven't been able to reach anyone directly, or get a return phone call.

I started using this company over summer and they have no showed to appointments, marked my services as complete and never came, didn't return phone calls from me, didn't bother contacting me only when they wanted money. They canceled my contract and are trying to charge me for the remainder. I do not want to be charged for services not completed. I want action to be taken and help because I am not about to get charged by this company that shouldn't even be a company!

No customer service rep has ever responded yet service reps continue to show up to my home. I always turn them around and they do not service the property. Final time, service rep showed up to my home with no mask and I have a 2 week old baby. I told him we cancelled service several months ago and not sure why people continue to show up every month. He said " they are bad about responding" .. not my problem. On Nov 12, they charged me $190 for services never rendered, an account that should have been cancelled. We did everything they asked us to by the rep and still no response. Poor quality and poor customer service.

I told them after their last visit (X-XX-XXXX) which was the end of our contract that I didn't need them anymore. I was assured we were done after our last visit. I got a call today from their messaging service they are scheduled to come out later this week. I checked my account to find FOUR CHARGES of 99 dollars for the same day. It's like they took another years worth from me AFTER I told them I no longer required their services. I want that money back and I want them to stop coming out here - I've replaced them with a much better competitor.

First service was in Mid May. A salesman knocked on my door trying to sell me their service. Told me they had a great deal going on in the neighborhood and that service for the year would $45 every visits with a 12 month contract and coming out every 6 weeks. What the salesman didn't tell me was that after the initial $45 sale price every visit after is $145. After asking multiple times "$45 for my whole house every 6 weeks?" "Yes sir that's correct." Then when called to ask about this charge they said that it's standard practice and nothing they could do and now any to charge me $210 for a cancellation fee even though my service was only purchased under fraudulent terms.

Many pest controls have been roaming the neighborhood and I decided to listen to the sales boy pitch. He told me there was no contract and at the time of signing my first service to try out (I was told) I was under the influence of wine. You can not force something on someone who is not aware of what is going on. I called from beginning to cancel and they just kept scheduling me even though I told them to cancel.

This company is a joke! They charged me each month for a service they did not provide! the first 2 services were done and I was happy, after that they claimed to have come out each month and did NOT! I have video surveillance on my home as well as a very aggressive dog in my yard. I requested many times to have the inside serviced again because the spiders and roaches were just increasing. They told me when I purchased the VIP service that a tech would come out as often as needed ( this never happened). I am now being charged the cancellation fee of $239. I understand paying that if I cancelled under normal circumstances. They are providing a fraudulent service and it is NOT right! Buyers BEWARE!

I signed up for services with this company and then decided to cancel it. I never paid them to service my home. 6 months later they charged my account I signed up with the company in may and canceled their services before it started. I was told by their employee that if I no longer wanted services text him and they will cancel it. My account has never been charged for their services until 6month later in November. I contacted them and they just made me jump through hoops trying to understand why they have charged my account 6months after I canceled it. They told me that they have nothing to do with what their 1099 contracted employees has done and has communicated to me and that they will not refund me my money they have wrongfully taken out of my account. Worst customer service I have ever experienced their managers and operators were rude and disrespectful! The manager Zack told me they have NO responsibility over their 1099 contracted employees!

I had to cancel service as they were not providing service I signed up for. Techs were not doing what they were supposed to and not showing up They provided pest control including mosquito control and they provided only mosquito control once as they were not doing what they were supposed to be doing during the season. Also their techs never showed up did half the job and then the were rude. I spoke to Hunter who set me up as a client and he know the issues ! They are trying to charge me 160.00 for cancelling even though they did not give me a choice as I had to find a new company to provide the proper service I requested and what I was promised . If I saw ants I would call and they were supposed to come back out. They never seemed to be able to come out until my monthly service time so I had to deal with the ants for two weeks till they showed up. Not vip service I was paying for ! I just want this cancelled and fees waived because they are irresponsible and dis-honest and ripping me off along with NOT providing VIP service that I signed up for.

I called, verified that my contract was up, and canceled. The agent offered a lower price for the service, I told her I would have to discuss that with my spouse. a few days later someone came out and I told them that we canceled the service. A few days later I saw that Anthem charged me for service. I reviewed my door camera and saw they came, they didnt spray my home because no one was there, and my dog was in the back yard so that area wasnt treated. I called requesting a refund, I was told someone would call me back. I called again today and was told I couldnt get a refund. The rep started I didnt call to cancel my service I only called to cancel an appointment. I feel like I got ripped off. Besides the residue I still had a problem with spiders in my house and beetles in the garage, but I fulfilled my contract with them. I would like the $89.00 they charged me, apparently for spraying my front yard refunded. If my communication with the rep on the phone was not clear, then definitely when the worker came out the first time and was told the service was canceled, something should have been noted. My conversation with the rep today ended with even if I spoke with a manager nothing would be done.

Anthem Pest Control An Anthem sales man came to our door, and told us for $20 today they would spray for pests and we wouldn't see another bug after the spray

An Anthem sales man came to our door, and told us for $20 today they would spray for pests and we wouldn't see another bug after the spray. I was told if I saw a bug, text him and they would come out and spray again for free. I agreed and signed a 1 year contract with Anthem for 1 year quarterly spray at $99 after the initial $20 spray. They did the initial spray, I still saw bugs , I sent 3 texts to the salesman with no response. 2 weeks go by and still no response and I see no difference in pests still. I called to cancel service because it wasn't working and was told I would have to pay $275 cancellation fee if I didn't finish the year contract. I agree to continue for the year to avoid the cancellation fee and scheduled the next spray. The next day (June 1) my account is charged $302.02, when I called to ask about the charge I was told there was a "system malfunction" and they would refund the $302.02. After 3 business days of being told I would be refunded (5 business days after the money came out of my account) I still had no refund. I called again and spoke to a supervisor, was put on a long hold and then hung up on. I called back and was told the supervisor had "just stepped out" but he would return my call when he got back. That was 2 days ago, no one has returned my call, no one has refunded my money! But someone was sent out to spray my house again. I have now had to open an investigation with my bank about the unauthorized $302.02 charge. ANTHEM HAS STOLLEN MONEY FROM ME AND ISN'T GIVING IT BACK. I don't want anything to do with this "business" I feel like I have been scammed, I want my $302.02 back and for ANTHEM to never contact me again.

I signed up with Anthem Pest control back in April. I told the young sales guy I was not interested as I was not sure if we would be staying. He indicated that it was not an issue that I could cancel anytime and the balance would be prorated. From April up to now the service has been poor. I have complained and needed them to come back out many times. My wife and kids caught them doing nothing after the people said they had sprayed. I had to be present during the repeat sprayings to make sure that the work was done. I had told them that they are never to automatically come out that they are to call me to schedule the visit as they have to come in the *** to treat both.I received a call on the 18th of November, stating someone was coming that day to spray the house. I immediately called when I received this message as no one was home and they did not honor my request as I have requested since April . incident, I had enough and wanted to cancel the service. So I contacted Anthem to address this last incident and cancel. The representative asked if I want to cancel the visit and reschedule, I replied, yes to cancel the visit and no to rescheduling as I am tired of the poor service and want to cancel the service completely. She indicated I would have to pay the full cancellation fee because my contract ends in April 2022. I indicated that this as not what I agreed to with the sales person when I signed. Why would I continue to pay for poor service. She told she would elevate this to a Manager who can address this issue and cancel the contract without fee. She told me to expect a call on either November 22nd or 23rd.Here we are December 3rd and no phone call.

Stay AWAY!Pulling into my driveway a man is standing on my private property. My wife and I are masked due to Covid-19, this Anthem employee was not. This guy with no mask on, trying to sell us pest service. On my private property unannounced; I said no, I have no money. He didn't leave he kept talking. I'm a disabled veteran and this guy wouldn't take no, he would not leave. I try to be nice, but people don't get it, they are out in the world playing not believing in anything. He could not see my face, but I was angry. He then told me about all my neighbors pest problems. We couldn't get him to leave. Long story short he wouldn't leave until we sign for service. I told my wife that was a bad idea. I called one week later to cancel. I was told it cost $190 to cancel something they didn't perform. They charged my card right after. As a veteran, I fought to be ripped off and stolen from. I fought for Anthem Pest Control to have the right to take advantage of me and others. Here's the thing they can have the $190. It's scum of a practice; cold knocking on doors and not taking no for an answer. Not leaving after being told no. This neighborhood is no solicitation. I called the HOA and was told I was about the 25th complaint about this company this week. If anyone checks Complaintsboard.com, stay away. My wife signed this paper on 6/5. I cancelled on 6/11. I had to pay $190 for a pest to leave me alone. Six days. It's crooked. So it cost me $190 because a stranger was on my private property soliciting. The game is to get you to sign and make money from your signature. I just wanted him to leave. I was tired, had a doctors appointment, that day. I can fight, but my kingdom is not here it is in heaven. I pray they are blessed and God forgives them.

A year ago a sale representative from Anthem came by my house and I told him I do my own pest control and I do not have issues. He told me of the other "extra services" they do and me just wanting to give some business I told him I will only give you and sign for a year contract. NOT TWO YEARS! I emphasized that over and over and the sales representative agreed and made me sign a one year contract. He indicated that after the one year it will be rolling from one quarter to another. A year later (April ) their pest guy came and I told him our contract is over and I no longer want your company's services. He told me to call the office to cancel and I did. The lady on the phone indicated I needed to give 30 days notice and I told her that call should then serve as the 30 days notice which means their next service (after another 3 months) was no longer needed and was cancelled. She agreed and indicated that the contract was cancelled. As expected in July no one came to do anything and there was no charge to my credit card. Lo and behold in October someone showed up purporting to want to treat my house and I told them the contract was for one yer since March and i even called in April that I want the contract terminated. He left without doing anything. A day later I see a charge of $128 on my credit card! I called their office and I spoke to one of the most rude persons on this planet. The guy intimated that the contract was not cancelled and you have to give us a notice of 30 days to cancel. I asked him what did I communicate to you 6 months ago in April when I told you that I do not want your services anymore and that the year I signed for was over. He short back to me that "there are no notes" indicating that you cancelled. All I want is my money back and for them not to show up at my house again.

I just had a field agent come to my home soliciting business for Anthem Pest Control. He goes through a rambling spill of the threat of deadly pest converging on my neighborhood, and that Anthem is trying to save us all from not only bugs, but the gouging prices of Northwest Exterminators and that he is trying to get us locked in to price savings. He asked if he could send me information on this wonderful promotion to my email address, and since the promotion would only last for Monday and Tuesday, he would schedule an appointment on Tuesday afternoon to give my family and I time to look over the info being sent to my email. I read both of the disclaimers he placed in front of me, located on a tablet he had in hand, and the disclaimers were roughly two sentences a piece, one confirming my email as my own, and giving Anthem permission to send me information, yet when I opened my email shortly after *** (sales person) left my home, I am greeted by a signed copy of a one year contract and the signature were a copy & past of scribble. I was absolutely at a loss for words! I located a number for the company's *** office, which the office is closed over the weekend, but I did leave a detailed message, and I also emailed, but I want confirmation that these scammers are getting the message. I want nothing to do with Anthem Pest, or their "awesome discounted" promotion. DO NOT SET FOOT ON MY PROPERTY. and Complaintsboard.com please take the reports on this company seriously. There is something to this. These folks are taking advantage of consumers right here in God's country, and in today's world there is absolutely no place for this. I will provide anything needed to escalate this complaint, just let me know.

Anthem Pest Control Filing a Complaint Against Anthem Pest Control for Contract Breach

This letter is to file a complaint against Anthem Pest Control for failing to fulfill their contract. I have more spiders now since their company has been spraying for them. I have attempted to resolve this issue with the company in writing on 02/03/2022. I spoke with a representative on 03/14/2022. The representative reviewed the dates and types of services performed at my home, which are listed below: 06/03 flush out, 07/15 second flush out, 10/16 service, 01/12/2022 cancel service. The company refused to refund my $200.00 cancellation fee. Your company doesn't stand by its promise to customers which states the following: OUR PROMISE We back our services with our 100% customer satisfaction. This promise includes unlimited free services to ensure your home is completely free of pests. 1. The representative admitted that the Technician documented in the file he had to knock down spider webs before treatment, indicating the presence of spiders at my home. So after two flush outs and a treatment, I'm still having spiders. 2. The representative also admitted that their company doesn't eliminate certain spiders that are common in the area. My problem is with black widow spiders. 3. A staff member stated, 'This year nothing we were using to kill the spiders was working; this was happening all over the area.' I'm not asking for the money I wasted on their failed treatments. I'm only asking for my $200.00 cancellation fee for their failure to provide a service free of pests. They did not eliminate the spiders at my home due to the ineffective treatments and spider webs. The staff member made that clear in her statement. The company refused to let me speak to the owner, who is the next person above the representative. I requested to speak to someone higher to resolve the issue of taking my money without rendering a service free of pests. Thank you for your time and help in this matter.

Anthem Pest Control My home has so many bugs now

My home has so many bugs now. Before they came, we saw an occasional bug, but now it's insane. I tried to work this out with them directly but they had 0 concern with the service I've received and only cared about the money and charging me an early termination fee. So the initial spray was great - the 2 who solicited the service and did the treatment were wonderful which is why I agreed. That service "draws the bugs out." That actually never happened. I never saw an increase in activity. Then they came back a month later to do the real spray... the man didn't even spray inside. He just did the yard and left! He said he would do inside after the yard. So, I had them come back out to respray. This man rushed through and apparently documented our home is dirty and cluttered with dishes and food. Considering this was also when we had simultaneous work being done in our kitchen and couldn't use it that entire week FALSE. I asked him to spray the whole house but he only wanted to do the "main areas." After the first spray and respray we started seeing bugs everywhere. Bugs we had never seen before. So I asked for yet another respray that once again the guy came out and did the yard then left. They claim I wasn't home for the first spray, but I have a medically fragile child and have been working from home and have been home since March. They have hounded me and hounded me over an outstanding balance, but don't have the same sense of urgency when it comes to their techs not providing adequate service. At this point, I have paid $40 for the initial spray. I was also billed $120 or so for the first quarterly installment, which I paid half even though I am seriously upset over the service. I do not want to pay for something that didn't work and I don't want to support a business that doesn't value their customers. I want the early termination fee waived and I want the additional $59 they want me to pay waived. I suggest hiring techs that care more like the first 2 that came out.

Horrible Customer Service, bad pest control service, awful sales people Very confusing door to door sales practices. Made it sound like due to Covid and how they knew people were struggling, they would give you a deal. NOT THE CASE. They used the pandemic to their advantage, to scam people. Visits - tech was here the 2nd time only 5 minutes. Still had bugs (spiders, silverfish, waterbugs, stink bugs and bees) and except for the first visit, they never came back inside. I specifically told the sales guys about the bees and spiders and he said that their solution would keep them away. Lies. My quarterly visit came up and they sent a text and email, to which I replied to both and told them that we were diagnosed with COVID and were in quarantine and we would have to skip this quarter. Two days later another text and email that they were coming out in a few days, to which I replied again that we were in quarantine. One week later, another text and email, that they were coming out for the quarterly, to which I replied AGAIN, that we were in quarantine. At that time I told them to cancel me all together, I did not want their services any longer. We were all extremely ill and dealing with this *** with them was awful. One month later, another email and text, that they were coming out in a few days. Again I told them to cancel. Received a change on my credit card, that I did not authorize, that it was the initial discount they provided me when I signed up, they charged me $129. They are not trying to help people, like they sales guy said, they are getting their money one way or another. They are an awful company and I really hope, others don't make the mistake I did, believe that they were looking out for people during this pandemic. They were only looking out for their pockets, not the customers that are struggling out here and due to getting covid, lost wages and the ability to pay their necessary bills. I will be posting on as many platforms as possible to warn people what a scam this company is.

Anthem Pest Control Whatever they spray does not kill bugs

Whatever they spray does not kill bugs. The customer service is non-existant. They will not cancel contract without a fee. Signed up last year. They never come inside and treat. They just say they come and treat outside and bill my credit card. We called them out about 2 weeks ago to re-treat our pool deck for ants. There were thousands of all kinds of ants (black ants, small ants, flying ants) in and around our pool. They sent someone out to "re-treat", but the treatment did nothing to reduce the ant population. So a few days later, we went to Home Depot and bought some insecticide and applied it ourselves. That took care of the problem. I called Anthem to tell them about the problem and they said that Spencer would call me the next morning. Spencer called the next afternoon and left a voice mail. Since then (10 days ago), I have called and left several messages on his voicemail to call me back, but he hasn't. I called the office today and wanted to talk to a manager. The manager refused to get on the phone with me and the receptionist- Bambi- was very rude to me. I told them I wanted to talk to a manager to deal with these issues and to cancel my service. Bambi told me that the manager was to busy to talk to me and that there would be a fee to cancel the service and that the manager would just tell me the same thing. I told her that I wanted to discuss the fact that their products were not working and the fact that I had called and left several messages for Spencer to call me back, but he had never called. Once again, Bambi told me that the manager was too busy to talk to me and that if I wanted to cancel my contract, that there would be a fee, but they would reduce it some. That totally wasn't the point. The management should be there to talk to clients to try and resolve issues, but management isn't interested in doing this at all. They just want to steal your money and not provide the service they promise. And they don't want to hear from clients with any complaints. They just want to be rude and tell you that it will cost you to cancel their services. This company is full of rude thieves that do not provide the service they promise. For all the good their "treatments" did, they may as well have sprayed water. And their customer service is horrible. I will do my best to spread that word.
