Anthropologie review: Service

Hi there,

My daughter's and I were at Anthropologie at Park Royal in West Vancouver on Saturday Nov 4th, 2023. We encountered awful service from several employees while we were there. The cashier was rude and didn't speak to us at all, not smiling and barely interacting. The employees in the change room suggested that we look up items on the website to see how much they cost. We also asked how much an item was after the 40% off sale and they told us to calculate it ourselves. It was very unprofessional and did not make us feel motivated to spend money in a store that have for years shopped at.

It was truly shocking. We had just been in Artitzia where we encountered excellent service. We spend a lot of money at both stores, but the level of service quality is not even close between the two.

After years of shopping at Anthropologie and spending $ at the shops across North America, I am sad to say that I am no longer motivated to enter the stores because of the customer service. I do not expect to be waited on, but I do expect a smile and someone to ask if we found everything that we were looking for. Also, when we ask a specific question - I would expect an answer.
