Mixed Experiences with Boohoo: A Customer's Perspective
As a customer of Boohoo, I have had a mixed experience with their services. While some aspects have been satisfactory, there have been notable issues that need improvement. The range of clothing offered by Boohoo is trendy and diverse, catering to various styles and preferences. However, the quality of the items received has been inconsistent, with some customers reporting receiving items that did not meet their expectations in terms of material and craftsmanship. Customer service interactions have been a point of contention, with reports of delays in responses, incorrect orders, and difficulties in obtaining refunds for unsatisfactory purchases. It is essential for Boohoo to address these concerns promptly to enhance customer satisfaction and trust. Despite these challenges, Boohoo's fast fashion appeal and affordable pricing continue to attract customers seeking the latest trends. Potential customers should approach their purchases with caution, considering both the positive and negative feedback shared by fellow consumers.
LOVE THEM!
As the previous reviewer, I was skeptical to order, because of so many bad reviews, BUT I went ahead and ordered. I'm glad I did. Their stuff is very trendy. It's very affordable (they usually have 50% on all the time) and once you figure out what size works best for you (I did have to return a few things due to wrong size), it's seamless. I live in the US. The order was processed fast. I chose regular shipping both times and was ok with waiting a few days for it. Returns are just as easy. There's a US address you send your items to for a flat fee. It's all easily done through their site and you get a return label. I got my refund about a week later after it was delivered to their address. Never once did I have to contact customer service. In conclusion, once I need another round of sexy and trendy clothes, I'll be pulling up their site on my phone. Don't be afraid! Order what looks good to you! And just be patient.
Impressed
I ordered from BooHoo with extreme caution because I ordered an outfit from Fashion Nova 5 days before and I was already having issues with them not shipping at all soooooo I took the risk and ordered from BooHoo... I have to say I am so impressed! BooHoo not only delivered ASAP but they sent me a courtesy email letting me know that they did not have something I ordered in stock and they would process the refund immediately. I received the refund today, and my package came from them 2 days ago. Everything was nice as expected, although I did order a size up just to be safe and the pants I ordered I will gift to someone - but I have no disappointments with this site whatsoever. Meanwhile, Fashion Nova took 8 days to even ship my stuff (11 to get to me)and the most expensive item was missing ($70) and it took for ME to reach out and let them know about it before they claimed that they will issue me a credit (which I still haven't received yet) I will order from BOOHOO again any day over FN.
In love
I am 162cm?74kg?34B
I'm not proud of it but I'm someone who likes to hide their body and it's difficult at times to find coats that work well with my body. MANY jackets make me look boxy and my wider shoulders do not help. I ordered a L (10) but they refunded me because they were out of stock. So I ordered a M (8) quickly because I need a coat before college starts. I'm glad that the M (8) arrived instead. The L (10) would have been too long and sleeves to long and over all a tad too big. The M (8) is PERFECT. The flannels or details in the front you see in picture hide the front of me and it's baggy enough in the back to hide the back of me. I might roll sleeves a little but probably won't. Sorry for this long review but I'm just very happy this coat worked out ( ?)
OH ALSO you know when we suck our stomachs in and our chest raises and sometimes it looks like one of those body builders under a coat. (I don't know if you know what I mean). Looking like a body builder is beautiful but me, with trying to look as small as possible? This coat doesn't make it look like that.
SUPER OVERSIZED WATERFALL WOOL LOOK COAT
(^what it's named^)
Love this website!
I don't get all the bad reviews! I order from them all the time and always receive my items in about 7 days, sometimes even less. I have the off shoulder wrap midi dress in 10 colors now. That dress is so forgiving and really holds you in well. No spanx required unless it's one of the lighter colors. I'm 5'7 138 lbs and usually wear an 8 tall. The tall shop is great for tall girls. Some of the pants are the longest I've ever seen! One pair was literally as tall as my head! Of course I returned them but how great for a really tall woman to have this option. Anything bodycon I can wear 8 in boohoo but if I don't want it fitted I'll go up to US 10. Some items I can wear a 6. Their clothes run smaller. I normally wear a US 4 anywhere else. You can zoom in on their pictures and get a good idea of the quality of each item. And let me tell you how fast they refund... I can ship a return to them and my refund will be back in my account in like 2 days! This is why I continue to order from them over and over, because I know the return process is free and fast. I've included photos of emails from. Them to show how fast I get refunds. Like 2 days after I print the return label they email me, I'll get an email that my refund is on the way and I'll check my bank account and the refund will be there. How awesome is that?
Beyond Amazing Customer Service
I love Boohoo, and the fact that they are European and have better fashion sense than the boring clothes in the mall here in Canada.
I have ordered multiple times and although their sizes do vary alot depending on what you order everything is great and you get what you pay for.
My third Boohoo order stopped being scanned in tracking and got lost somewhere in the UK. I contacted customer service and without skipping a beat they fully refunded my money (as a few items were out of stock) so that I could reorder, which of course I did.
Just recently I made my biggest purchase at Boohoo. After 3 days of my package being "delivered" and the shipping company not caring at all I contacted Boohoo. In no time they replaced my order that I did not receive. I am grateful to them for this as I was planning on wearing the clothes to my grad photos, and now I really can!
Amazing customer service.
P.S. It WAS the shipping company's fault, so if it doesn't show up to your door that is why! A week later I got the package to my door with a note saying that it got dropped off at their house (similar street name, but not close to my address).
Not sure why it took so long for them to get it to me but Canpar (shipping Company) dropped the ball hard on that one.
Although I am so grateful Boohoo was able to resend, I will be sending it back as my package was found, albeit at the wrong location.
I WILL be ordering again
At first I was scared to order from boohoo because of the bad reviews but I did anyway with my hopes high. On my order the sizes changed to U. K so I thought they were going to send the wrong size I dm'd boohoo on twitter and they helped me. The sizes convert because it is a U. K. based store, but when my items got to me it was the correct US size I order on November 9th, 2016 & my order came November 15th, 2016, so in total it took 4 business days, I opened my items and it LOOKS exactly like the picture, my set fit me like a glove and the color was spot on it doesn't feel like cheap material at all. I spend $25.50 and the original prices was $52.50. I'm satisfied with my items I will be ordering again. For those of you who are having trouble please beware that in the confirmation email the sizes convert to U. K. but you will receive your correct US size. You have to be patient with this site if your shopping for an special occasion try to order in advance maybe a month or 3 weeks so your not stuck waiting for your items, my order came fast. Be careful at what material you order as well, stay away from cheap material that may arrive see through you have to be smart when ordering from them. But I will be ordering again I'm not sure why orders have issues, patience is key order in advance and be smart. Love my co ord set looks very expensive. Wish you guys the best this is my honest review. Good luck
Never shopping with these liars again!
Worst Customer service that I have experience in a long time!
Prior to this incident I purchased two other orders from boohoo with express shipping and both arrived two weeks later, too late for when I needed them.
Now back to this incident:
They had me waiting 2 weeks for the arrival of this express shipment as well and then when I finally received it, there was a huge rip/hole (I sent them pictures).
That already frustrated me enough. They decided to handle it by offering me a replacement pair at no further cost to me, I would've been satisfied with just that and extra forgiving... however they then came back and said the color that I originally ordered had sold out. So I stated that I would accept the same shoe in a different color... and this is where all hell breaks loose... Boohoo then takes back their original offer and states that they are no longer sending a replacement because the color is different and that I should waste more of my time, money, and energy to bring it back to the post office and ship it back to them if I want my money back WTF?!
Keep in mind that it's been about three weeks now and I still don't have what I paid for. I also found out that this was a lie because when I spoke to my sister about the situation, she told me that they actually sent her a different color of her item (A bomber jacket) when they messed up the order and the original color was sold out. So now I'm finding out that boohoo lied to me, they also got my hopes up with a fake resolution, vack tracked on their offer, told me I should do all of the work if I wanted my money back (for an order they messed up), caused me I don't know how much stress, and ruined this experience for me. I'm now going to go the route of a PayPal dispute/claim as well as reporting to any necessary parties. I'm going to let it be known that they lied and offered to help me and then basically said never mind. I'm DISGUSTED with this terrible customer service. After all of the money that I spent with this company over the years, they treat me like this? NAH. I'm done with them.
So far I love this company here's why!
So on Thursday around lunch time I clicked on a "60% off everything" Ad of BooHoo's website. I checked it out and they had an amazing deal going on with a great variety of clothing/boots I really liked. I found a lot of things I was interested in buying and placed them in my cart. I watched BooHoo haul videos on youtube to make sure this was a company I could trust and they were all positive reviews on their products. I went on google, ended up finding so many negative reviews including trustpilot of BooHoo and it made me think twice on placing my order. Thursday night I went ahead and gave them a chance. I ordered using Afterpay and got my confirmation email. Every company has their fair share of negative reviews that's why I took the chance. I paid extra for the USA Express Shipping which is supposed to take 2-3 days to deliver. Mind you, I ordered on Thursday around midnight of Friday Dec 7. I got a text Friday morning at 10am saying my delivery is scheduled for delivery on Monday Dec 10. Today is Saturday December 8 and I received my order around 10am instead of on Monday! OMG you guys! I am not kidding! It was by far the fastest shipping for anything I've ever ordered online. That's not even 2 days. Here are some things to consider though I live in Louisville, KY and my address is of a house. I don't live in an apartment so I don't know how packages are received for apt tenants. I also received a text and email regarding my tracking number with DHL. The text that I got on Friday morning shows when my order is scheduled to deliver by, it also tells me to click the link on the message to authorize delivery without signature or for other delivery options. This is very important because I don't think the courier will leave it without your approval. I also specifically said on there for them to leave it on the doorstep of my side garage (which is safer cos people won't see the package in front of my house, lowers chances of it getting stolen). Now the package I got is a huge BooHoo bag not a box. I think the design on the bag was really cute. Go on instagram, checkout #BooHoo, and you'll see what the bag looks like. Some people posted vids on their stories of receiving the bag. Another thing is that people have said it's normal for them to receive more than one bag (separate deliveries) especially if they've ordered a lot of items. Hopefully this gave y'all an idea and helped in any way. I also use ParcelTrack which is an app that lets me track everything I order via tracking number for any courier. It notifies me wherever my order is. I received the order from Lancashire, UK to Louisville, KY in 34 hours. Everything I ordered fit really well including the boots I got.
Mixed experiences with Boohoo: Great first two orders, disaster with third. Poor customer service and unreliable delivery
I've been ordering from Boohoo for the past week and I've had mixed experiences. The first two orders were great - they arrived quickly and the items were exactly what I expected. However, my third order was a disaster. The outfit I received was disgusting and the sizes were way too small. I tried to return it, but it wasn't as easy as I thought it would be. I don't have a computer, so I couldn't print off the return form. It was frustrating and time-consuming.
To make matters worse, I stupidly agreed to buy my boyfriend a pair of shoes for a wedding on Saturday with next day delivery. I paid ?7.99 for the delivery, but the shoes didn't arrive on time. I tried to contact Boohoo and UK Mail, but it was a nightmare. Boohoo's customer service number was almost impossible to find, and when I finally got through, the person on the other end was no help at all. They told me to message them on Facebook, which seemed unprofessional to me. I messaged them, but all they said was that they couldn't cancel the order and that it was out for delivery. It arrived a whole day late, which was really inconvenient.
Overall, I'm disappointed with Boohoo's customer service. They need to sort it out. The website is easy to use and the prices are good, but if they can't deliver on time and deal with customer complaints properly, then what's the point? I wouldn't recommend paying for next day delivery - it's a rip-off.
Boohoo Review: Terrible Customer Service and Shipping Policies
I gotta say, I had a pretty rough time with Boohoo. Their customer service department is a mess, I couldn't understand what they were trying to say half the time. If you're new to shopping with them, be warned that they always require a signature for delivery, even for standard shipping. It's such a pain, I can't tell you how many times I had to go to the post office to pick up my packages because I wasn't home during the day. And if you don't want to deal with that, you have to pay double for shipping. What a rip-off, right?
But that's not even the worst part. I had a huge order that I needed in a hurry, and it got sent back to Boohoo because the post office tried to deliver it on a Sunday when no one was there. I emailed Boohoo right away, asking if there was anything they could do to help me out. But it took them forever to respond, and by the time they did, it was too late. They offered to resend the package or refund it, and I asked for a refund. But then they told me they couldn't even start processing the refund for four days. I asked if they could speed it up so I could reorder my items, but they said no. When they finally processed the refund, they asked me if I wanted a refund or if I wanted them to resend my order. I thought that meant they would send me my original shipment, which had some sold out items in it, but they ended up refunding me for those items instead. I asked them to cancel the resend and refund me for the full amount, but they said it was too late. I asked to speak to a supervisor or manager, but they stopped responding to me altogether.
I spent a lot of money with Boohoo and I've been shopping with them for a long time, but I don't think I'll be going back. If you want good customer service, go to Asos or Forever 21 instead. They're much more helpful and responsive.
Boohoo.com Express Shipping Review: Is It Worth the Extra Money?
I gotta say, Boohoo.com is my go-to for online shopping. I mean, who doesn't love their prices and their clothes? I've never had any problems with their products, which is a huge plus. I've never received anything damaged or the wrong order. However, I do have some beef with their express shipping.
Let me tell you, the first time I ordered express shipping was during the holiday season. I ordered a bunch of summer dresses just four days before Christmas (I live in Australia). I was shocked when I received my order two days later, just in time for Christmas. I was so impressed that I thought all future orders would be just as speedy. Boy, was I wrong.
I've had a few instances where I ordered express shipping and didn't receive my order in the promised four days. It's frustrating because I'm willing to pay the extra $15 for express shipping, but if it doesn't arrive on time, what's the point? I could have just ordered regular shipping and saved myself some money.
One time, I ordered an entire outfit for a wedding and chose express shipping because I had no time to look for anything else. I was counting on it to arrive on time, but it didn't. I had to scramble and buy something else at the last minute, which ended up costing me more money. This has happened to me multiple times, and it's getting old.
I've spoken to the customer service team about it, and all they can do is refund my $15. It's not like they approach me and say, "Hey, we noticed your express order hasn't arrived within the express time, here's your $15 back." I have to notify them, which is annoying.
Don't get me wrong, I still love Boohoo.com and will continue to order from them. But I've stopped ordering express shipping because it's a waste of time and money. If Boohoo.com can't deliver within the promised four days, then they shouldn't promise it. It's that simple.
I hope Boohoo.com can get it together and either follow through with their four-day promise or change it altogether. Until then, I'll stick with regular shipping and hope for the best.
Disappointing Experience with Boohoo: Shipping Error and Poor Customer Service
shipping since it was your mistake, Boohoo. It's not fair that I have to pay for your error. And the fact that you can't even cancel an order that was just placed is ridiculous. What kind of system do you have in place? It's clear that your priority is getting the order out as fast as possible, even if it means inconveniencing the customer.
I'm also disappointed in the lack of customer service. The responses I received were generic and unhelpful. It's frustrating to feel like you're not being heard or understood. And the fact that they couldn't even offer a solution or compensation for their mistake is unacceptable.
Overall, I would not recommend Boohoo based on my experience so far. The ordering process was a nightmare and the customer service was lacking. And with all the negative reviews about the quality of their products, I'm not even sure if I want to bother trying them out. Save yourself the hassle and shop elsewhere.
Boohoo's Customer Service and Order Accuracy is Terrible - My Experience
I used to love shopping with Boohoo, but lately I've been having some trouble with my orders. It seems like my deliveries are always late, items are missing from my order, and the customer service is poor. I recently placed an order and took a screenshot of my order after purchasing it to have proof of the US sizes I ordered. However, when I received my order confirmation email, two of the last items I purchased were changed to size US 8. I contacted customer service via Twitter and showed them the screenshot of the order I placed and the order confirmation email, but they were not helpful at all. They just read off the screen the sizes that were in the system. How does that help? Your customer system made an error and I want the sizes I ordered!
I was able to sell the items to my sister, but I was hesitant to place another order. However, I did place an order yesterday for nine items, all size US 12. When I received my order confirmation email, the last three items were changed to size US 8 again! I sent my screenshots of before and after and asked Customer Service why my sizes changed and if the sizes are converting from U.K. sizes to US sizes, then why didn't all of the sizes change? I noticed other customers reaching out to Boohoo's customer service through Twitter about problems with the website, so I know I wasn't the only one.
Once again, I reached out to customer service on Twitter and explained what happened again. Customer Service told me that they would be with me shortly. Two hours later, I got an inbox saying that they see I have save shipping and allow my package to come in on the timescale. What does that mean? I needed my order changed before it shipped, especially when I have proof of what I ordered. Two hours later, I received a shipping confirmation. Well, that's it! I wish I could post pics to show how quickly my order was changed. I'm over this company and their customer service and tired of receiving items in the wrong size that I have to either resell or deal with the refund process. This did it. I plan on reporting them to whoever will listen and telling people about my experience so they don't get the same results.
I posted a review on another website, and Boohoo responded asking for my order numbers. I gave the numbers to them with no response from Boohoo. I made two more orders, and on one of the orders, out of the nine items I purchased, one converted from Size US 12 to US 8 on the confirmation email like the other two times. Good thing I took screenshots again. Customer Service told me that they were unable to report the problem to the IT team if I don't return the items to the warehouse. I have pics of all the items that should be enough to pass it on, and Boohoo returns aren't the best, so no thank you! The other order, one skirt out of five, changed from US 12 to US 8 after purchasing. Finally, the last straw!
Boohoo.com: Poor Customer Service and Refund Process
Boohoo.com is a company that I would not recommend to anyone. Their customer service is atrocious and it is almost impossible to get a refund from them. My daughter sent back ?74 worth of clothes by Royal Mail recorded delivery, which was confirmed as delivered to the retailer. However, the package disappeared somewhere within Boohoo.com. It has been over three weeks and they continue to ignore my daughter's emails, simply replying with useless responses. Other retailers, such as Next, deal with these issues within 36 hours. Boohoo.com's customer service is very poor and it seems like they don't care about their customers at all.
My daughter is only 18 years old and does not earn a lot of money. ?74 may not be much to Boohoo.com, but it is a significant part of her weekly wage. She and her sibling have been loyal customers of Boohoo.com for a number of years, but they continue to treat her badly. I hope that this review generates a suitable response from them, but I doubt it.
I recently saw a response from Boohoo.com to my review and it was another useless response. They don't care about quality customer service and are more concerned about getting their hands on customers' money and retaining it as long as possible. They need to look into their internal processes and customer service. They should look at other online retailers to see what they do and how they can replicate it.
I also don't understand why they start their emails/responses with 'Hey'. I prefer the traditional 'Dear sir/madam/customer'. Their overall Trustpilot rating of 5.4 out of 10 from 117,946 reviews says it all.
It is an absolute joke that my daughter is suffering financially because of their incompetence. They have had the parcel back, but they don't know where they have put it. It is unacceptable that my daughter is the one suffering because of their mistakes.
It has been over a month and there is still no resolution from Boohoo.com. My daughter remains deprived of her money and it is an abysmal company that does not deserve to trade on UK shores.
Boohoo Review: My Experience with the UK-Based Clothing Store
I was like, what the heck when I saw all these bad reviews for Boohoo. I mean, I've ordered from them a bunch of times and it's always been a good experience for me. I think they're way more legit than some of those other cheapo clothing stores that you hear horror stories about.
I think they're based in the UK, but everything I've ordered has come from the US. It takes about a week to get to me and they give you tracking, which is cool because I've had some bad experiences with stuff getting lost in the mail or stuck in customs. Knock on wood, I've never had a problem with Boohoo.
The clothes are pretty good, especially for the price. I'd say they're about the same quality as Forever 21, maybe a little better. You know how they say "you get what you pay for," but with Boohoo you can actually get some really nice basics for super cheap. I'd say stick to the simpler stuff though, because the more complicated an outfit is, the more chances there are for it to look weird or not fit right. If you've never ordered from them before, start with the basics so you can get a feel for the quality. I've mostly ordered swing dresses, skater skirts, bodysuits, and tops, and I've been happy with everything.
One thing to keep in mind is that the sizing can be a little wonky. Boohoo uses both US and UK sizing, which can be confusing. And everything runs small, so be prepared for that. The tops and sweaters are especially short (they call them "jumpers" for some reason), so I'd recommend going up a size or two for those. For bodysuits, go up one size, and for dresses and skirts, go up one or two sizes. But seriously, take the sizes with a grain of salt.
Oh, and one more thing: NEVER pay full price for anything on Boohoo. They have sales all the time, like every day. One day it'll be 40% off everything, the next day it'll be 50%, and then 60%. It's crazy. So if you miss one sale, don't worry, there will be another one soon. And if there isn't a sale when you go to the site, just wait a day or two. Trust me, there will be a sale.
Overall, I've had a really good experience with Boohoo. I'm sad to see all the bad reviews, but I wanted to share my own experience. Give them a try!
BooHoo.com Review: Order Never Received, No Refund Given, Poor Customer Service
I recently made a purchase on BooHoo.com and it's been over a month and I still haven't received my order. I paid a total of $58.08 for three items, including taxes and shipping. According to their website, I was supposed to receive my order within 9-11 business days, but it's been way past that. I've been trying to reach out to their customer service on Facebook, but they keep telling me to wait a little longer.
I decided to contact FedEx to see if they could help me track down my package. After waiting a week for them to call me back, I finally got in touch with them. They told me that my package arrived empty and that I should speak with the seller. I reached out to BooHoo's customer service again and they told me that they were investigating the issue and that I should wait until June 27th to receive my order. However, FedEx keeps telling me that my items were closed out because they arrived empty.
I told BooHoo that I no longer wanted the item and just wanted a refund, but they keep denying me my refund. They keep saying that it's out of their hands now because the parcel has made it to FedEx. I even asked to speak to a manager, but they didn't want to let me. After hours of going back and forth with them, I went on their GB page and commented on their most recent posts to let people know NOT to order from them. I even uploaded screenshots of our conversations. But now they are ignoring me and hiding my comments.
I just want my refund back. As a customer, I feel like I should be able to get my money refunded back to me now and if I receive the item, they should allow me to keep it as well. It's frustrating to have to deal with this kind of issue and I hope that BooHoo can resolve this soon.
Boohoo Review: Terrible Customer Service and Shipping Practices
I've had a couple of experiences with Boohoo, and they were both pretty bad. The first time I ordered from them, I got a bunch of stuff, including some Beauty and the Beast Soap Petals. They were supposed to come in a nice jar, but instead they just threw everything in a flimsy plastic bag with no bubble wrap or anything. So of course, the petals were all smashed up and ruined.
It took me a bunch of emails to figure out what to do about it. At first they said I might not have to send the item back, but then they changed their minds and said I did. And they wouldn't replace the item, just give me a refund. So I had to pay to send it back, wait forever for them to process the refund, and then ask separately for a refund on the postage. It was a huge hassle and took forever.
When I ordered something else from them later, they did the same thing - just threw it in a bag with no protection. And then I made the mistake of ordering some Body & Bath Advent Calendars for Christmas presents. I thought they'd at least send those in a box, but nope - they just threw them in a bag too. So of course they arrived all crushed and dirty.
I emailed them right away, but it took them forever to get back to me. And when they did, they wouldn't refund the postage, just offered me a gift voucher. Which was useless to me, since I didn't want to order from them again. And they said it would take forever to process the refund too.
I was so frustrated and upset. I'm stuck at home because of my illness, so I have to do all my shopping online. And now I had to try to find replacement gifts at the last minute, when I didn't have the time or money. I even made new boxes for the damaged items in the advent calendars, which took me hours.
I asked Boohoo to refund half the cost of the items and let me keep them, but they refused. I was so upset I cried. And then when I asked to speak to a supervisor, they just ignored me.
Honestly, I've never had such a terrible experience with a company before. It's like they don't care at all about their customers. They don't pack things properly, they don't help you when there's a problem, and they don't care if you're happy or not. I'll never order from them again, and I wish I hadn't in the first place. There are plenty of other online stores that actually care about their customers and do things right.
Boohoo Review: Overcharged, No Cancellation Policy, Slow Customer Service, and Communication Issues
I made a big mistake and bought a few things from Boohoo during their 60% off sale. I was so excited to get such a good deal on everything I wanted. But when I got to the checkout page, I saw that the total was way higher than I expected. I tried to cancel my order, but Boohoo has a no cancellation policy. I was so frustrated that I had to reach out to their customer service, but they don't have a phone number to call. I had to message them on Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, and email.
I was so annoyed that every time I messaged them, they kept telling me that I paid the correct amount. But I knew that I was overcharged because all of the items I bought were on sale. I even sent them screenshots of the products and their prices, but they said they didn't receive them. It was so frustrating to have to keep jumping from one platform to another just to get some help.
Finally, after so many tries, I got a message on WhatsApp saying that I was overcharged and that I was due a 60% refund. But they told me that I had to wait until my order was delivered to get the refund. I thought it was weird that they couldn't just process the refund right away. When I asked them about it, they said they couldn't make any amendments to my order right now. I also asked them if they could provide me with a reference code or something, but they said there was nothing they could give me.
The next day, I saw that my order was dispatched, but one of the items I bought was out of stock. They had to cancel and refund my money for that item. I was so shocked that they would process someone's money if the item wasn't in stock. But I was still overcharged for the other four items, so I had to fight for my money.
I messaged their customer service again, and I had to take screenshots of all the messages they sent me promising to refund my money. I was so worried that they would ghost me, but eventually, they asked for my bank account details. I thought it was weird that they couldn't just refund the money back to my card, but they said they couldn't do that. I had to make a whole PayPal account just for them to refund the money back to my card.
Overall, I had a terrible experience with Boohoo. Their customer service is so slow and unhelpful, and they don't seem to know much about their own sales and refund processes. They also had communication issues and typed in broken English, which made it hard to understand them. Boohoo is not a well-organized company, and they overcharged me by almost $100. If I hadn't fought for my money, I don't think they would have refunded me. I'm also annoyed that the one product I really wanted was out of stock, and they didn't tell me until after I paid for it. I'm never shopping at Boohoo again.

NEVER AGAIN
I've made two purchases from Boohoo, both disastrous. The first time I bought several items including Beauty and the Beast Soap Petals which came in an acetate bell-shaped jar in a cardboard box. They threw all my items in a flimsy plastic satchel with no bubble wrap. Predictably, the packaging of the Bath Petals was mangled beyond description.
It took several emails to work out exactly what I needed to do. First they said I may not need to send the item back, and then they said I would. They also wouldn't replace the item, they would only issue a refund. I had to post the item back at my own expense, retaining the receipt; wait up to 28 days from receipt of the item at their end for a refund; THEN send them a scan of the receipt asking to be refunded separately for the postage costs. The whole process took well over a month and more than a dozen emails, not including order confirmations etc.
When I bought the replacement item, it too as sent in a flimsy plastic satchel with no protection.
Foolishly, I made a second purchase. On November 26 I bought three Body & Bath Advent Calendars, because they looked awesome, and I know a bunch of teenage girls who I thought would love them. "Surely," I thought, "they'll send THESE in a box." Nope. They were thrown loose into a large satchel, not even a shred of bubble wrap, and all three calendars arrived crushed, torn, mangled, dented and dirty, with the items dislodged.
Not only that, but they took 15 days just to dispatch the items.
I emailed Boohoo right away. By the way, they always send you an email saying "well pop you a reply within 48 hours," but it's a lie. I've never had a reply from Boohoo within 48 hours.
They wrote back to say "please send your item back in line with our usual returns policy," and instead of offering a refund of the postage, which would have been over AUD $15, they offered me a gift voucher, which is absolutely unacceptable. They also told me that the refund may take 28 days. This was the weekend before Christmas.
In despair, I realised I wouldn't have time or money to buy replacement gifts before Christmas. I'm housebound with illness, so I have to do all my shopping online. I decided to ask Boohoo to refund half the cost of the items and let me keep them. Many businesses offer this option, because it's cheaper than sending the items back. I waited and waited, but I didn't hear back. In the days before Christmas I asked my parents to buy me some large sheets of cardboard, and I made new boxes for the items in the advent calendars. It took me several hours over a couple of days. I was exhausted.
I still hadn't heard back from Boohoo, so I sent them another email reminding them to get in touch. Finally I heard back - they refused to offer a partial refund. I'm a little embarrassed to admit I burst into tears. I worked so hard on fixing up the damaged items they sent me, and I had tried to meet them halfway. It was too late to send them back.
I replied immediately asking the customer service reps to forward my request to a supervisor. That was 10 days ago. I never heard back.
I actually don't think I've ever had a less professional experience. It's like dealing with cheerful but utterly unhelpful robots. The returns process is ridiculously complex. They clearly take no care in packing items, and don't care if they arrive damaged. And it seems like they don't care whether their customers are satisfied either. As long as each person in the chain, including the customer, discharges their duty with regard to the system, Boohoo is happy. So the people at the dispatch centre throw your item in a bag and post it when they feel like it, the customer service people reply to your email when they feel like it with a bland, impersonal response that doesn't actually help you, and the people in charge of processing your refund do so when they feel like it, and refund the cost of postage for damaged items only if they feel like it.
So, yeah. I'll never be buying from Boohoo again, and I wish I hadn't bothered in the first place. I regularly buy from the leading English online fashion and beauty store which is light years ahead of Boohoo in terms of customer service, and has never made me cry.
Please do yourself a favor & do not shop at Boohoo EVER
I made the huge mistake of purchasing a couple items online from Boohoo. All 5 of the items that I had purchased were marked down by 60% as Boohoo was having a "60% off sale" on almost all of their items. I was really excited that I was getting such a good discount on all of the products I intended on buying.
I go to the checkout page to see the total amount of money I needed to pay. For the 5 items I bought plus shipping & tax, I see my total to be $82.19. I enter my credit card information & click pay. As soon as the screen reloads, I see that it shows that my order total as $175.99 & not the $82.19 that I was seeing before. I was extremely confused as to how the numbers changed so drastically since all of the items I bought were on sale & at a discounted price. Immediately, I go to cancel my order but find out that Boohoo has a no cancellation policy (which is extremely stupid & should definitely be implemented). I then start to try & find ways to reach out to their customer service. They do not have a direct phone number you can call, so I tried reaching out to them via various platforms such as email, Instagram, Facebook & WhatsApp.
I was extremely frustrated as so many Boohoo customer service representatives responded saying that they do not see any discounts on my order & that I paid the correct amount (which is seriously so freaking dumb because their whole site was having a sale, how do they not know that themselves.?). I tried sending them screenshots of each of the products I bought & their marked down prices to show that I was overcharged for each one. To that they responded saying that the screenshots I sent didn't come through on their end so they had no idea what I was referring to. During the process of all of this, I kept getting messages from each of the representatives saying that I should "stick to one platform" or "this is already being dealt with by my colleague". I literally was not getting the help I needed which was very frustrating on my end having to jump from Instagram to Facebook to WhatsApp.
Then finally after about a million tries, I received a message on WhatsApp from their customer service saying that after viewing my order I WAS indeed overcharged for the items I bought & I was due a 60% refund. I was then told that once my order was delivered, all I had to do was send them a message so that they can refund me 60%. I thought this was really strange because why couldn't they just process the refund right away? Why did I specifically have to wait for my order to first be delivered? I asked them about that to which they just responded saying "Sorry, we cannot make any amendments to your order right now". I then asked them if there was any sort of reference code or something they could provide me with, so when I do ask for the 60% refund it doesn't seem random or made up. They just said there is nothing they can provide me with & all I had to do was reach out whenever my order was dispatched (a new customer service person mentioned this) or delivered.
The next day I saw my order was dispatched, HOWEVER one of the items that I had purchased was OUT OF STOCK so they had to cancel & refund my money for that one item. This is when I was really shocked at how poorly ran their company is because why would they even process someone's money if the item is not in stock, or why would they show that it is in stock when it is clearly not? I shrugged it off since I was getting the refund for the canceled items, but I was still overcharged for the other 4 so I had to fight for my money.
I then proceeded to once again reach out to their customer service via WhatsApp. I had taken screenshots of each of the messages they sent regarding the promise to refund my money so they would know that I'm not just making it up. I swear as soon as I sent the message, I had a feeling they were going to ghost me or something. For a couple of hours I got no response, so then I started reaching out to them on Instagram. I then got a message on WhatsApp saying, once again, to "stick" to one platform to avoid confusion. I literally responded saying that I'm not getting the help I need & I once again explained the entire situation. Then, I get a message back asking me to provide my bank account holder's name, my account number, and a swift code (which I have no idea what that is). I thought it was definitely weird that they were asking for my bank account details. I asked them why they couldn't just refund the money back to the card I used during the time of payment to which they said " We can't refund back to the original card, but if you have a PayPal email address" they can refund it to there. Tell me how I made a whole PayPal account & provided them with my PayPal email address just for them to refund the money back to my card.
Long story short, I will never be shopping from Boohoo again. Their customer service is not only extremely slow, but also they are not very well-informed on their sales/refund processes/products, etc. They also had communication issues & typed in broken English which was confusing to understand at times. Boohoo as a company is not well organized. They overcharged me by almost a $100. If I had not fought for my money, I'm sure they wouldn't have even bothered to realize their mistake & refund me. I'm also annoyed at how the one product I was looking forward to receiving was out of stock & they tell me that after I pay for it. Seriously, I was so exhausted trying to chase them to get this sorted. NEVER again.
Returned clothes that were too small.
Boohoo is a huge disappointment. I am so pissed. I ordered from them on two different occasions, on the 18th of Jan and 11th of Jan, I returned some items that were too tight in ONE package via royal mail. They received my package alright but refusing to refund me the 6 items I sent, and acting like they only saw 3, when it is obvious I sent 6. I didnt...

Mixed Experience with Boohoo: Sizing Issues and Poor Customer Service
So, I gotta tell ya, my experience with Boohoo was a bit of a mixed bag. The first time I ordered from them, a few months back, I got a long sleeve shirt that was great, but the bodysuit I got was way too see-through. My bad for picking white, I guess. Anyway, I decided to give them another shot and boy was that a mistake.
I ordered four items from their Canadian website, all in Canadian sizing, but when I got my confirmation email, I saw that the tank top I ordered in a size CAN 16 had shipped in a UK 16, which is four sizes smaller (CAN 12). I hit them up on Twitter and it took them almost three hours to respond to my DM. The rep tried to tell me that's what I ordered, but I had screenshots showing that I had selected the same top on the Canadian site and it had stayed in Canadian sizing all the way to my shopping cart. It only changed to UK sizing in the confirmation email.
Now, all the other items I ordered arrived in the right size, so I asked the rep why I would order one item four sizes too small for me. They eventually offered to send me the right size and have me ship back the wrong one for a refund. The new tank arrived pretty quickly, but when I compared it to the old one, it was still the wrong size in UK sizing. So I shipped them both back and told them what happened. It's been almost three weeks and I'm still waiting for my refund.
They offered to wire transfer me the shipping refund, but I have no idea how to do that and I don't really want to pay to set it up when they already have my credit card info. Plus, the only way to get in touch with their customer service is through Twitter and it's a nightmare. You'll be waiting for hours for a response.
Honestly, I don't think I'll be ordering from Boohoo again and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else either. It's just not worth the hassle.
Boohoo Review: False Advertising, Poor Customer Service, and Unreasonable Policies
I have been trying to sort out a problem with Boohoo's pricing and false advertising of their products. It's been a real headache for me. I keep getting emails about discounts, but once I use them and follow their rules, they change things up and charge me a higher price. It's really frustrating and I feel like I'm being taken advantage of.
If you're thinking of buying from Boohoo, make sure you triple check your order before you hit send. Read all the fine print and disclaimers, and then do it all over again to make sure you know what you're getting into. They don't have an exchange policy, and they charge you a fee to return items, even if you only need to exchange them. Then you have to repurchase them with another shipping fee added, and hope the item is in stock in the size you need. It might even be at a higher price than when you originally purchased it.
To make matters worse, the company doesn't have a direct customer service number. The chat feature is a joke, and the answers you get back from email are all scripted to be your fault or that you just have to keep the item. It's really frustrating and makes me feel like they don't care about their customers at all.
I chose an item and received something different than what was shown in color and design. It's only when you scroll to the last image that they show you what you are really going to receive. Unfortunately, I didn't see that until it was too late. I've been extremely respectful and flexible in my communication, asking only for a price adjustment on the items so I don't have to incur another unnecessary return charge. But to no avail, the company has been unreasonable. I get a different customer service person every single communication, which is by email only. I've communicated with them seven times, and it's gotten ridiculous. I believe the site is a scammer in a sense. I've received some products, but they are ill-fitting to the point I would have to spend more money to get them tailored to fit properly.
I also attempted to get a garment that had featured eight photos. I reached out to customer service and was told that they may have some items that are a shade or two darker or lighter. This item was completely different in color and style. Rust and white are not the same, and no button to three buttons is totally different.
I want to stress that you need to be extremely cautious and mindful when dealing with this company. They don't seem to care about their customers, and their policies are designed to make it difficult for you to get what you want. If you do decide to buy from them, make sure you read everything carefully and don't expect to get what you see in the pictures.
Boohoo Overcharged Me and Customer Service Was Terrible: A Review
I made an order on Boohoo about two weeks ago, and it was supposed to come in two packages. I got a tracking number for both packages, but only one of them arrived on 9/12/21. I'm still waiting for the second package, and it's already 9/16/21. I checked my bank statement today and saw that I was charged an extra almost $60 for my order. I contacted customer service, and I talked to someone named Shah. They told me that my bank statement was correct, and the total at the time of purchase reflected this price, but my order confirmation "must have had a glitch." This is not true because my total at the time of purchase and my confirmation email both listed $112.26 as my total. I got a 60% discount and applied a second coupon to get an extra $63.30 discount. My bank was charged $170.40. I tried to explain to Shah that this is an undisputed charge because I was charged more than I agreed to, but they told me to add up each item in my confirmation email, and it would be $170.40.
My second issue was that when I made the purchase, after putting in my second coupon, each item did not discount. The $63.30 was only taken off of the total, so each item still only reflected the 60% off discount. Therefore, obviously adding these items up would add up to $170.40 and not include my $63.30 discount. My total before the discount was $165.19 plus $10.47 shipping minus the $63.30 discount for a total of $112.36. Shah refused to credit me any money or take responsibility for the website's mistake and just told me the $170.40 was correct, even though they never included my discount.
The worst part was Shah's final response: "There must have been a glitch when you were checking out, and I can confirm you have been charged the correct amount for this order. If you no longer want the items, feel free to return the items back to us for a full refund. :)" I never said I didn't want the items. The issue was that their site overcharged me without my consent, which is their problem that THEY should fix. Shah was condescending, rude, and should be fired for their responses.
Boohoo's New Returns Policy: A Frustrating Experience
I've been shopping at Boohoo for over 8 years now, and I have to say, I've never had any issues with their returns policy... until now. It seems that in 2020, they changed their policy and now customers have to pay for their own returns. I don't remember this being the case before, and to make matters worse, they only give you 7 days to return your items. This was my first purchase since the lockdown started, and I had no idea about the changes to their policy.
I was shocked when I found out that I had to pay extra for shipping return products, especially since I had just spent $300 on my original purchase and had only returned 2/3 of it. Despite this, I went ahead and followed their new policy. However, it wasn't easy. I had to jump through hoops and send many emails to their customer service team. After a lot of back and forth, they eventually told me that they had refunded my money. But when I checked my statement, I couldn't find it anywhere.
It took me a while to figure out what had happened. After reviewing my purchases online and scouring my credit card statements, I discovered that they had backdated the refund to the date of purchase. The only way I could confirm this was by downloading my statements. It was a huge waste of my time and effort, all for a measly $123.
To make matters worse, it took 39 days for the refund to reach me from the date I shipped the items back. That's a long time to wait, especially when you consider that if I didn't pay my credit card for 39 days, I would have been charged 20% interest. That's not fair, and it's not right. I had to float this cost in the meantime, and I feel like they should be compensating me for that.
Let's not forget about the other costs involved in returning the items. I had to pay $15 for the shipping label, and I had to make special trips to Staples to print the label they sent me via email (since I don't have a home printer). Then I had to go to the post office to accommodate their 7-day window. All of this took up a lot of my time, and I had to spend hours on chat and email communication just to get my money back.
Boohoo used to be a great place to shop, but I won't be shopping there anymore. Their new policy is unfair, and it's not worth the hassle. If you're thinking about shopping at Boohoo, be aware of their new policy and be prepared for a lot of frustration if you need to return anything.
Boohoo's Delivery and Return Process is a Nightmare: A Review
I was so hyped to order from Boohoo because my family and friends had some good experiences with their clothes. But let me tell you, the delivery and return process was a real struggle. It took a whole month for my package to ship after the supposed "ship date". And get this, my package was supposedly in Jamaica at the same time it was supposed to be in New Jersey. I found out later that they probably didn't even ship it and just printed the label. I had to use the FedEx tracker to figure that out. They sent me three emails over a month and a half saying my package was on the way and would be there soon... but it hadn't even shipped yet! By the time I realized it wasn't going to make it in time for the holiday, I had already replaced the items and requested a refund. The order was full of gifts for my family and I had ordered a month in advance to be proactive. But they told me to deny the package when FedEx tried to drop it off. Like, how am I supposed to know when they're coming? I don't have time to stalk deliveries. I finally got the package a month and a half later and requested a refund, but they wanted me to pay for return shipping. The tracking link they gave me didn't even work! I had to message them on WhatsApp and they finally issued the refund within an hour. I paid $15 for shipping on a package I never even opened. I'm never ordering from them again. Everyone I talked to who ordered around the same time got their package within a week. And get this, they waited until the late package arrived to respond to the Paypal investigation. And to top it all off, they gave the wrong address and the package was delivered to the wrong place. I checked my info and it was all correct. I've never had this happen with any other vendor. I was really disappointed with the whole process and how they still wanted to charge me for shipping on a package that was a month late and had the wrong delivery details. I ordered on November 28, 2020 and got the package on January 15, 2021.
Boohoo Review: Lost Order, Poor Customer Service, and Disappointment
I ordered my Christmas gifts back in November 2016. I was so excited to receive my order, which consisted of six items. However, when my package arrived, I was surprised to see that only one item was included in the package, and the invoice showed my entire order. I thought it was strange, but I assumed that the other items were coming separately due to customs issues. I contacted Boohoo, but they told me to check my tracking number. I decided to wait until just before Christmas to see if the other items would arrive, but they never did.
I tried to contact Boohoo through email, but they didn't respond to most of my messages. I was frustrated and didn't know what to do, so I turned to Twitter. I found that companies respond quickly on Twitter because they don't want their reputation to be damaged publicly. Boohoo finally responded to me and told me that my order was lost. They sent one item separately, which I found odd. If my order was lost, why didn't they contact me and send the whole order together? It didn't make sense to me.
Boohoo asked me if I wanted them to send my order again, and I said yes. I was excited about my items and wanted them badly. However, Boohoo then told me that three of my items were out of stock. I was disappointed because I really wanted those items. I searched online for something else to replace them with, and I found one of my favorite items in a size up. I asked Boohoo to send me that item instead, but they said they couldn't. I asked why, and they told me that the system wouldn't allow them to replace it with a different size.
I was so frustrated because I had spent hundreds of dollars on my order, and it had been over two and a half months since I placed it. It wasn't my fault that Boohoo didn't know how to send items through customs or that they lost my order. They should have done everything possible to accommodate me and get me my items. I don't know if I'll ever order from Boohoo again. I might order from ASOS instead, but I'm not sure because I don't want to give Boohoo any more of my money.
I feel disrespected as a customer, and I hope that Boohoo will improve their customer service in the future. It's important to treat customers with respect and to do everything possible to make them happy.
Boohoo Review: Impressed with Quality, but Beware of Inaccuracies and Returns
I was pretty impressed with Boohoo, even though I was half expecting it to be a bit dodgy. I mean, the site-wide 50% off sale was a bit of a red flag, and the prices can be pretty steep at times. Plus, there are no reviews, and the site has a few bugs. But hey, I had some cash to burn, so I thought I'd give it a go. And you know what? It wasn't half bad.
I ordered two dresses, a maxi skirt, some belts, and a pair of shoes. The "one size" belts worked for me, but if you've got a bigger rib cage, don't even bother with the 105cm ones. The holes only appear about 10cm in, so you'll still have to pull and cinch. I'm about a 36-inch rib cage, and it worked for me, but it was tight. The shoes were good, too. The first dress seemed a bit off at first, but it's actually fine. I compared the pictures on the website to what I got, and for all except the maxi skirt, the pictures are accurate. Maybe they rushed and gave me a similar maxi skirt? (Don't discount other reviewers' bad photos, though!)
The only real issue I had was with the second dress, which was the wrong color. The sticker said it was the color I ordered (khaki green), but I got black instead. The maxi skirt was also way too long and had to be worn like a dress instead. Literally no woman is tall enough to wear it as a skirt. Trust me, I'm 5'8". It's also clearly not the same as the dress in the picture. It's missing the top panel and string tie, both of which I would have loved. I can only wear it as a skirt if I make alterations. Thankfully, none of these things bothered me too much (remember, I didn't expect much), but it's definitely enough to make me think twice about buying from them again. I'd only consider it if I read even more reviews and was willing to potentially lose the money or make sewing alterations at home. But why risk it? I certainly wouldn't recommend the website to anyone.
I live overseas, and it only took a week for my order to arrive from the UK with standard shipping, which was pretty impressive. I also appreciated the tracking system they used and the email updates. Even if I considered returning my items, I wouldn't bother because it seems like people have had issues with getting their money back and had to pay for return shipping. The quality of all the items was actually pretty good, so I'll just keep them, even though two of them weren't really what I wanted. Hope this helps! Happy shopping!
Boohoo Review: Terrible Customer Service and False Promises - Do Not Order From Them!
I recently made an order from Boohoo in June for my birthday in July. Everything was going smoothly until July 3rd when my package got stuck in Memphis, TN. I waited for a week with no movement and decided to reach out to Boohoo to inquire about the delay. They assured me that my package was still on its way and that I would receive a refund if I didn't receive it by July 29th. I explained that I needed the package for my birthday on the 14th, but they insisted that I wait until the 29th for a refund.
On July 29th, I contacted them again to request a refund, but they responded that my package had been recently scanned and was on the move again. They refused to issue a refund, even though it had been over a month since I placed the order and the package had been stuck in Memphis for almost a full month. I was frustrated and told them that it was unacceptable to make me wait this long for a refund when the package was obviously lost and would not be arriving. However, they still refused to issue a refund and told me to wait until August 16th.
August 16th was almost two months since I placed the order, and I was still waiting for my package. I called FedEx to inquire about the delay, and they informed me that they intercepted the package and would not be delivering it because it was sent to them empty. I contacted Boohoo and told them what FedEx had said, but they refused to investigate and insisted that I wait until the 16th. They also refused to contact FedEx to find out what was happening.
I have ordered clothes from many companies, but I have never been treated like this. Boohoo continually went back on their word, refused to investigate, and practically accused me of lying when they got caught sending an empty package. I was extremely disappointed with their customer service and had to open an investigation with my bank, FedEx, and Afterpay because of them.
If you check their Facebook comments, you will see that I am not the only one who has experienced something like this. I strongly advise against ordering from this company. They are crooks and scammers who do not care about their customers.
Terrible Experience with Boohoo and Misspap: Refund Issues and Poor Customer Service
Boohoo and Misspap are terrible, terrible companies. They took my money and now they won't give it back to me. I'm so mad! I've been messaging them and they keep giving me the runaround. They say they've refunded me, but they haven't given me all my money back. It's not fair!
One of the messages they sent me said they were sorry I hadn't received my refund yet. They said they had processed a refund for some of the items, but not all of them. They gave me a list of the items they refunded and said the money would be in my bank account by November 4th. They also said they were still processing the refund for the other items and it would take up to 15 days. I was so frustrated!
When I messaged them back, they told me that they had refunded me in US dollars instead of Canadian dollars because I had ordered from the US website. They said they had refunded me the correct amount, but it just hadn't converted to Canadian dollars yet. I was still missing some money though, and they wouldn't give it back to me. They told me to contact my bank, but I already had and they said the money wasn't there.
I kept messaging them and telling them I wanted my money back. I showed them proof of how much I had paid and how much they had refunded me. I even told them how much they still owed me. Finally, they said they would refund me the rest of the money. I hope they actually do it this time!
Overall, I would not recommend shopping at Boohoo or Misspap. They are not trustworthy and they don't care about their customers. They just want to take your money and run.
Boohoo's Black Friday Sale: A Nightmare Shopping Experience
Boohoo is a website that I recently purchased from during their Black Friday sale. I was excited to see that they were offering a 60% discount on their items, so I decided to purchase four items. After applying the promo code and paying for shipping, my total came out to be $63.99. However, when I received my confirmation email, I was shocked to see that my total had changed to $150. I immediately checked my bank account and saw that I was charged the higher amount.
I contacted their customer service team through their Twitter and email. Although they responded within 30 minutes to an hour, I got a different person responding to me every time. I asked them if they could change the amount charged to the discounted total of $63.99 or cancel the order altogether. However, they responded by giving me a list of reasons why the promo code did not work, without addressing my inquiries. I went through each of the reasons and still did not see how it went wrong. I responded again, asking for a change in the amount or cancellation of the order. They responded saying that they looked at my order and something in my cart was on sale before, so the promo code didn't apply for the whole order. However, I looked again and nothing was on sale. I was charged for the full price of every item, which led the total to be $87 more than what I should have been charged if the promo code applied.
This time, I got pretty upset. They still haven't addressed what I wanted, instead seeming to blame it on me that the promo code did not work. I sent them a screenshot of my total with the promo code applied and also asked them to let me know which of the items was on sale because I do not seem to be able to spot it. Finally, someone told me to fill out the cancellation form. I filled it in right away and sent it to the customer services email and asked them if that was the right email to send it to. They directed me to the claims email, so I also sent an email to them as well. This whole correspondence took almost a day.
This morning when I woke up, I got an email from customer services saying that they checked my order and it has already been dispatched. I can only wait for the order to be sent to me, and I have to pay an additional fee in order to send it back. I wish I would have read more reviews before placing an order with them. I started to read them today, and most of them say that their order either gets lost or gets delivered really late. It's funny how for my order, they dispatched the order right away. I checked the status of my order, and I did not have anything, so where are they getting their information? (Also, where are they getting the information that I bought something that was on sale before the promo code? Guess we'll never know.) This is my worst shopping experience ever, and I do not wish anyone else to have to go through this.

Refund for Clothing
Have been waiting over 3 months for a refund. Each time I contact them they tell me it’s been passed to the relevant team and to wait 2 weeks. Not once have they gotten back to me and this has gone on for months now. Absolutely disgraceful service from such a large company, essentially robbing people by not refunding their customers for items they have safely returned. Will not be buying from them again and would advise others not to do so unless you’re 100% sure you won’t be returning anything!
Desired outcome: To receive my refund
White vest
Absolutely disgusting just received the white vest it has a speck of blood I took photos and have contacted the team all they did was refund the item, wasn't till I expressed health and safety concern and told them i will take this further on my end, they then said they would contact me within 48 hours. I have recorded the entire conversation. Please help me to resolve this matter.
Desired outcome: Disgusting blood droplet the entire order should be refunded and the factory at the time needs to be looked into
Advertising
I went on the boohoo.com. Au site for the first time and was absolutely disgusted. Every single model looks like a wannabe beyonce porn star. They look forceably provocative and uncomfortable. To add to that, their 'plus size' models are in no way shape or form plus size, and then to top it off they've included 'jumbo models who you would expect to just be plus size! How degrading is that to call someone a jumbo model. I was appalled at every single picture, im a size 10 and workout everyday so have nothing to be ashamed of, and yet it made me feel [censored] about myself and I couldn't stand to keep scrolling. Who on earth would want to buy from a place like this. Completely blown away to the point I have now spent 10 minutes searching for how to make a complaint.
Desired outcome: Show some respect and focus on building women up not tearing them down.
poor customer service
I placed an online order at the end of Nov and paid express to have my item within 4 business day. My item was shipped 28/11/17 and arrived 20/12/17. My shipping cost was refunded but I asked several times for either a partial refund due to the inconvenience/having to go out and purchase additional items for my event as my purchase didn't arrive by the specified time frame. My parcel was lost for some time and no one could tell me exactly where it was/when I would receive it/had conflicting responses as to what happened and why there was a delay. Whilst I was in contact (each time with a different member of staff) I asked to be reimbursed for the inconvenience and everyone continued to ignore my question. I was happy to receive a store credit but again everyone ignored my request. Finally today all I am getting in response is I can only get a refund if I return the items (but I actually quite like them) and again ignoring my request regarding store credit. I first notified you about this on the December 7th, 2017.
Your customer service is poor and extremely frustrating as you cannot have an ongoing conversation with person. Each time a response is submitted it is a different person. My requests were outright ignored. It's a joke.
shop elsewhere
Geez, so terrible. I am just out of words...
Your customer service is a joke. If any problem occurs you offer nothing instead and don't resolve it at all...
What kind of service is that?
You have been operating for several years, was it so hard for you to improve everything that people tell you about? For example, your sizing charts. They are ridiculous and wrong.
Bad place for shopping.
Stay away
Never thought I would complain about them, I've been their regular customer and everything was fine. I have no idea why they changed, but it's not for the best, for sure. Maybe they changed their management, who knows.
Long story short, I've been waiting for my refund for two months. I wrote them many times, sent receipts, the package itself and that it was in a good condition before shipping, and that I opened it it was already damaged. I don't know what else they need, I'm honestly tired.
Please, stop it, it's not funny.
I advise you to stay away from them or order those things you are sure you won't return (don't know what it could be though)
