Apple Vacations Complete scam do not book!!!

0 stars! You call customer service and they are completely ignorant. I've had the worst customer service I've ever had with them. Beware there are 2 different insurances to get, one is only a travel credit and you have to go through booking again the other you supposedly get your money back. They wanted my health diagnosis to receive my money back. That's a violation of HIPPA. You can book direct with hotels and it'll be $300-500 cheaper. All in all never book with this company it's a complete scam to get your money.

Update by CarleyJ

We booked our vacation and purchased insurance. The agent didn't tell us there was 2 insurances or we wouldv'e purchased the one with the full refund. Ended up to get money back they wanted our diagnosis and letter from a doctor. That to me is a violation of HIPPA. I shouldn't have to disclose that information. From there the agent blocked us and wouldn't respond. I simply would like some compensation for the stress this has caused us. Because now we have to use our travel credit and book again with you which is $3-500 more than if I would just book direct with the hotel and airlines. Your running a 100-150 credit promotion now. Why can't I get that or a complimentary excursion? I called customer service and she didn't have any answers. Didn't know a way to file a complaint, couldn't add anything and couldn't transfer me to a manager. What kind of training are you giving this people? I'm giving you a chance to make it right. I'll take anything at this point. I've been dealing with this nightmare for over 6 months.

Apple Vacations Mixed Experiences with AppleVacations

As someone who has been using AppleVacations for over 8 years, I have had both positive and negative experiences with the company. While I have enjoyed seamless trips in the past, my recent encounter left me disappointed. The customer service was lacking, showing a lack of care for clients. This experience has made me reconsider using AppleVacations in the future. It's essential to weigh the pros and cons before booking your next vacation with them.

Apple Vacations Disastrous Experience with AppleVacations: Terrible Customer Service and Lack of Care

I've been using AppleVacations for about 8 years now and I've always been pleased with my experience. However, my recent booking was a complete disaster. The customer service was terrible and it seemed like they didn't care about their clients at all. I learned my lesson from this vacation and I won't be using this company again. It was a very bad experience.

Apple Vacations Stress-Free and Enjoyable Travel with AppleVacations: A Loyal Customer's Review

I have been a loyal customer of AppleVacations for over two decades now, and I must say that I have never had any issues with their services. Honestly, there was one time when I had a bit of a problem with a square deal, but it was not Apple's fault. The hotel that I stayed in was absolutely stunning, just as Apple had promised, but unfortunately, none of the staff spoke English. However, I must admit that this was a discounted deal, so I guess you get what you pay for, right?

Apart from that one experience, I have never had any problems with my flights, hotels, transportation, or tours. Everything has always been top-notch, and I must say that I am a bit of a spoiled and demanding traveler. So, if I say that everything was amazing, you can trust me on that.

AppleVacations has always been my go-to travel agency, and I have recommended them to all my friends and family. Their website is easy to navigate, and their customer service is excellent. Whenever I have had any questions or concerns, their representatives have always been quick to respond and very helpful.

Overall, I would highly recommend AppleVacations to anyone looking for a stress-free and enjoyable travel experience. They offer a wide range of destinations and packages to suit every budget and preference, and their attention to detail is second to none. So, if you want to make the most of your vacation, book with AppleVacations today!

Apple Vacations Frustrating Experience with AppleVacations and Travelzoo: A Cautionary Tale

I recently had a frustrating experience with AppleVacations that I feel compelled to share. I had been trying to book a room at the Grand Sunset Princess since February 12th, but encountered numerous issues along the way. Despite calling the "dedicated" line, I was transferred around for almost an hour before finally speaking with an agent who said there were no rooms available for my dates. This happened repeatedly, with promises to research and call me back, but no follow-up ever occurred.

I called several more times over the next few weeks, but still no one from AppleVacations returned my calls. I even spoke with a "dedicated agent" who promised to make a booking for me at their listed rates, but then failed to follow through. When I finally did speak with a supervisor, they promised to secure me a room and would contact me in a day or two, but I still had little faith in their ability to deliver.

To make matters worse, I had already booked my flights for nearly $3000 and was now left without accommodations. I reached out to Mr. Stitt at Travelzoo for help, but received no response. I understand that this situation was not created directly by Travelzoo or AppleVacations, but I had hoped for a potential resolution that would allow me to book my two rooms at the price paid for the base room of $798 each (with Fresh Trips I upgraded one room for a larger unit for $180).

Overall, I am extremely disappointed with the lack of communication and follow-up from AppleVacations and Travelzoo. I would caution anyone considering booking with them to be prepared for potential roadblocks and frustrations.

On September 6, 2024, I made an online reservation (Confirmation Number: J4J513AB) for a stay in Cancun from December 26, 2024, to January 2, 2025. However, on September 7, 2024, I discovered that the Grand Oasis Cancun, where we were scheduled to stay, has a significant roach infestation problem. As I have asthma, this discovery prompted me to contact...

Apple Vacations Poor customer service, price changes during booking

Attempted to book with 4 friends, on the phone, so we could all be on same flight/price. We all completed at precisely the same time, only 1 went through. All 3 of us attempted a second time and the price went up $500. Tried calling Applevacations and got an automated message saying the wait time was 60 min or they would call me back on that number (June 6,2023 at 6pm). As of June 7, 2023 at 11:06am, I have yet to receive a call. We attempted to make a reservation from 5:30p until 9pm...when we were finally successful and each of us 3 paid an extra $500 so we could all be on the same flight. I had a similar experience last year with Applevacations and decided to try it again. That was not an anomaly. Also, canceled my daughter's ticket last year and had purchased insurance. All in all, I got a $300 credit on a $1400 ticket and since I didn't use it by May of 2023, I lost every dime of that!

Desired outcome: I just want to make others aware

Apple Vacations Trip to Riu Palace Bavaro All Inclusive 4/22/23-4/29/23

Please see the timeline below for the water and electricity being off during our stay at the Rui Palace Bavario. We went to the front desk daily to voice our complaints but nothing was done. We were told the water issues were due to the renovations being done at the Rui hotel next door. We asked if we could be moved to another Rui Palace resort and told no. By my notes and estimation the water was off approx. 18.5 waking hours over 4 days. The longest time without water, toilets, sanitation was Thurs as it was out 8.5 hours. That meant that bar glasses and food plates could not be washed. Workers who prepared our food at the all inclusive resort could not flush toilets, wash their hands when preparing our food or wash cooking utensils, dishes, pots, etc. Since the bathrooms were closed by the pool, people were using the pool as a toilet!

Timeline for issues at Riu Palace Bavario

Arrived Saturday April 22. Nice hotel, grounds and rooms well kept. Wait staff for swim up pool bar and restaurants friendly and attentive.

Monday April 24-bathroom in our room toilet didn’t flush-no water at resort! Estimated water outage 9am-1pm!

Tues April 25- watching the entertainment around 8:30 pm. No water to flush toilets in restroom by entertainment area. Water out everywhere 2 hrs!

Wed April 26. Went to restroom near front desk at 1 pm and reported to front desk no water and cannot flush toilets as water is out. Went on excursion and returned at 6:30 so did not know how long water was out that day, but from speaking to other guests it was out approx. 3 hrs. Went to buffet for dinner 8Pm. All electricity went out in entire resort for approx 4 minutes.

ThursApril 27. No water at entire resort from 10:30 am-restored at 7pm. At 6PM- Trickle of cold water and could flush toilet once. Cannot take a shower as it’s cold and a thin trickle. Cleaning staff in restrooms allowed us to use toilets during the day and would try to force flush with a bucket of water. (water obtained from the water feature). Toilets then filled up and restroom staff said you could not use toilets at all. Afraid to eat lunch and dinner as cooks had no water to wash their hands or dishes. We turned in wet towels at the pool and told we could not get a towel as they had none washed to give out. Went to dinner about 8:30. Ate grilled food only! Hotel staff said outages are related to work done on hotel next door on Riu Palace Macao.

Thurs-April 27-Around 10am went to speak to Amstar rep about the toilet/water situation and was told my other reps she went home early and they were all getting complaints from their customers and didn’t have any advice for us! We will try her again Tomorrow as she’s the on-site rep for Apple Vacations.

Thrus April 27th-6pm- Have trip interruption insurance and called toll free 24 hr Global assistance outside the US [protected] on our Apple protection policy and got voice mail. Left Msg and never received a call back. Called a 2nd number for assistance while on a trip out of the country [protected] and got a recording to call your apple rep.

Called Apple vacations 2x. [protected] Spoke to Simon first time got disconnected. I Called back got disc after getting thru choices on Auto attendant! Called Reservations [protected] and got no answer.

7pm. Able to both take a shower and flush toilet. Pressure was low but got er done!

We texted our Apple booking agent Luis Gonzalez Cruz but he said there was nothing he could do.

Thurs-April 28-afraid to eat and limited choices to grilled or fried food as we knew staff had no way to wash their hands, tools, dishes, etc.

Friday-April 28-very cautious as to what we ate because previous day had no water for the entire day.

Got back from vacation and was feeling very ill. Saw my primary care physician 5/4/23 as I had stomach cramps, diarrhea, nausea and light headedness since returning home. She believed this was a bacterial infection contracted on vacation due to lack of water/sanitation. I was prescribed Flagyl and Cipro and 2 weeks later still not feeling well.

I am writing to Apple to see what you plan to do to rectify this situation? We had insurance, called every number printed on our policy and documents and got no return calls or answers. I paid $1300 for a trip and had no water for 18.5 hrs during the days I was there and got sick upon my return.

Also, Vacation Express sent people to this resort. We met several of these folks on the plane and got to be friends with them as well. Vacation Express provided each person with an inbound and outbound QR Code for their Visas to enter & exit the Dominican Republic. Apple did not even address this. We were delayed over an hour trying to get the form filled out on our Iphone while standing in line and were moved to the end of several lines while we attempted to get this completed. I was finally pulled out of line and sent to a room for help. My travel mate had to reload the document on her phone and complete it for me. We were so late in getting thru customs that the bus had left and we had to get a car to drive us to the resort. This could have been avoided if Apple provided the level of service that Vacation Express provided for the visas.

I thought booking with Apple would give us a better trip experience as you supposedly check out the resorts and rated this resort as 5+ apples. We purchased your trip insurance policy and couldn’t even get someone to answer the phone or call us back. What kind of operation are you running? What to you plan to do to address these issues for me?

Desired outcome: Refund in cash of $100 per day water was out for a total of $400 pp on this trip.

Apple Vacations Apple vacation reservation number is koy903ap

We stayed at BlueBay Grand Esmeralda. Apple said it was a 4 Star Hotel it was far from a 4 star it was more like a 2 star. The service for the dinner menu was a joke and could book one day at a time. the way it was set up we only got to eat at 4 restaurants out of 7 days we were there. after we were there 4 days the air condition quit working and it was 89 degree. No one at the resort knew what to do or how to fix it. They said leave your slider door open. That when we found out the slider door was broke. Also in the room none of the doors or cabinet worked they would all come open after they were shut. also on are last day the elevator quit working. Also the hot water quit working on our last day. This resort was very very bad disappointment. We were told book apple vacations they are good people.

Desired outcome: Some kind of refund this was very bad.

Apple Vacations Nonexistent customer service

I sent the following message to the Apple Vacations post travel department regarding my scheduled 12/24/22-12/31/22 vacation to Riviera Maya for my family of 6:

I would like to address several issues with this reservation. I do have detailed documentation of all communications, but for sake of brevity, I will provide just a summary of my complaints here. We were scheduled for 7 days and 7 nights at Riu Tequila (Riviera Maya) with flights from Cleveland Hopkins on 12/24 and returning from Cancun 12/31. In light of the weather forecast and Cleveland city official anticipating flight cancellations, I contacted my agent on 12/20 to discuss alternate plans. I was instructed to continue with our original itinerary of flying out of Cleveland on 12/24 on a charter flight.

So we left from Grand Rapids, MI, early on 12/23 to allow a full day of travel to a Cleveland hotel in poor weather conditions. We confirmed flights and hotel reservations prior to leaving and again while on the road at 2pm, and all looked good. We were assured that Apple Vacations would notify us immediately of any changes. Several hours into our drive, we checked e-mail for updates from Apple and the Frontier App for flight status. Everything was on schedule with no updates from Apple. Two hours later and now almost to Ohio, we checked the Frontier App which indicated our flight was cancelled. We tried to contact Frontier directly by phone but phone hold time was 60+ minutes. So we called the Apple [protected] number which also had a 60+ minute hold time. We left a message for a call back. After several minutes, we received a call back from Apple stating the flight was not cancelled. We also received a text message from an Apple rep stating that the flight was not cancelled or delayed. So we proceeded towards Cleveland. Another hour later, we re-confirmed with an Apple phone rep that our flight was not cancelled and were assured that it was not. Meanwhile, we are emailing our Apple agent to inform her of the discrepancy between the Frontier App and the information from Apple. She tells us she cannot get through to anyone at Frontier either. Almost to our hotel now, our agent emails us to tell us that our flight is, in fact, cancelled and that Frontier failed to notify Apple of the cancellation. She is now going to try to get us a flight out of Chicago for 12/24, so we turn around and head west toward Chicago from Cleveland (the turnpike is closed) on two lane county roads. After about an hour, we are notified that we cannot get a flight out of Chicago on 12/24, but there is a flight out of Chicago on 12/25 with return on 12/30. We reluctantly accept that offer as we are told it’s our only option besides cancellation. Our agent assisted in finding us a hotel in Shipshewana, IN, for the night, because it would have been nearly impossible to get back to West Michigan in the weather conditions. We had to make several phone calls to get our original Cleveland hotel canceled as we did not cancel prior to check-in.

We basically burned a day in Indiana on 12/24. There was nothing to do as all stores and attractions were closed either for the holiday or severe weather. So we found a hotel at OHare and got there early evening on 12/24. We received an updated trip itinerary from Apple Vacation with updated flight information from Chicago to Cancun 12/25 and Cancun to Chicago 12/30 and new dates at Riu Tequila of 12/25-12/30. We are told that this new reservation and flight went directly through some sort of Apple Vacations management to assure its validity. On the evening of 12/24, we notice on the Frontier App that our 12/25 flight is delayed by one hour.

We got to Frontier Airlines check-in 3.5 hours early on 12/25. The agent scanned our passports and nothing came up in their system. Frontier did not have seats for us on the flight! They asked for our confirmation numbers. I first provided the Frontier confirmation number. When that was entered into the system, it still had us on a 12/24 flight from Cleveland. Then we provided our Apple confirmation number and updated trip itinerary email. We were told that confirmation number was “fraudulent” and “means nothing” because nothing was reserved through Frontier for us for a Chicago flight. We were told there was no possibility of getting on the flight because it was full with a waiting list. My wife again called the Apple 1-855 day of departure phone number and sat on hold for over an hour with no answer. We got in touch with our Apple rep (via text message through a third party), who also could not get through to anyone at Apple. She re-sent an email confirmation with the same confirmation number as previously. Meanwhile, it’s almost boarding time for the flight and we are stuck at the check-in counter. My entire family is devastated at this point, and I no longer trust any of the information Apple has provided us. Besides, no one at Apple is available for customer support. I decide my only options are to leave or to take matters into my own hands if there is any possibility of making this trip happen. So I requested to speak with a manager. The manager is unavailable because he is boarding passengers onto a flight. Fortunately, our flight gets delayed another hour and the manager came to the counter to speak with me. I won’t go into the details of our conversation, but my negotiation was the only thing that got us on that flight. There was nothing whatsoever from Apple Vacations to get us on that flight. We got boarding passes to the shock of every employee at the check-in counter. We rushed through customs and the terminal as quickly as possible, only to get to our gate, which was empty. We thought we had missed our flight, but by our own attentiveness noticed our flight had switched to another gate while we were waiting at check-in. We found that gate and made it in time for boarding. Our seats were spread out throughout the plane which was an issue for my younger children.

Our shuttle with Amstar to RIU Tequila went smoothly. Amstar is the only entity involved in this trip that I can recommend. When we went to check-in at RIU Tequila, we were listed as “no-show” for 12/24. There were some very anxious moments as our agent went to get his manager to see if we had a reservation. After a lengthy conversation and delay, the manager was able to make a new reservation or modify our reservation to a 12/25 check-in (I’m not sure which), but he had no record of any modifications to our reservation prior to our check-in. So at this point, we are checking in on the evening of 12/25 instead of early afternoon on 12/24.

Finally, on 12/29, I checked with the RIU front desk to confirm our 12/30 check out. Still, they had us checking out and charged through 12/31. They still had no record of any modifications to our original reservation. I then informed our agent that I would like to investigate a return flight on my own because I do not trust that we actually have a flight through Apple/Frontier on 12/30. We are advised that we likely will not be reimbursed for cancelling a flight. We will have to pay out of pocket for a new flight. And we likely not find a flight to Chicago on 12/31. So we took our chances with the 12/30 Frontier flight. Surprisingly, everything went according to plan with that flight.

Our local agent through Jenison Travel Leader informed us immediately after our vacation that we would be reimbursed for the two days of missed vacation. Additional refunds would need to go through post travel, so I submitted the above complaint. After patiently waiting for a response for 5 weeks, post travel responded with a refund for the 2 days of missed vacation that I was already assured. I explained that I was seeking additional reimbursement. After another delay, post travel offered a $50 per traveler travel voucher and insisted that their records indicate that Apple Vacations had contacted the hotel to modify reservation dates despite hotel management denying that claim and providing me with a digital copy of all reservation details as of 12/29/22 (photo). Post travel refused to respond to my complaints about providing a confirmation number for a flight that was not booked, stating only that it is very difficult to rebook flights during peak travel times. After multiple follow up emails, Lisa Benton from the post travel department issued a $250 travel voucher only for the 2 adults on the reservation. She asserted that Apple Vacation’s vendors were the at fault parties, not Apple Vacations. She stated that this is their final offer and final response to this complaint.

The vacation was filled with unnecessary stress and work on our end and shortened by 2 days. We had unexpected travel and hotel costs as a result of Apple Vacations errors—not weather problems. We had reason to believe we did not have a return flight and would be stranded in Mexico. Flights and hotels were not successfully modified by Apple Vacations despite records stating that vendors were contacted. The customer was left to do all of this work alone.

Desired outcome: Please refund 50% of the total cost of the trip in form of travel voucher or check.

Apple Vacations Refund for cancelled trip

I am filing this complaint due cancelling a trip booked for july the 6th on jan 6th due to misinformation from the travel agent. I am waiting almost 60 days for a portion of a refund and have yet to receive the balance. I used 2 cards for payments. One they were able to refund what was used on that card, the other they keep telling me the transaction would not go through. They were able to take it off my card but not put it back to that card. They then said they would issue me a check on feb 7, 2023 and i have to wait an additional 15-25 days for my refund. Today is feb 28, 2023. Noone is able to tell give me any answers beside i have to wait. This is unacceptable. I am on the line with an agent named mr bulicinia and have been requesting to speak with a supervisor and being told there is nothing the supervisor can do. I stated i would be filing a complaint and and now waiting to speak with a supervior. He keeps saying he is looking for a supervisor. I have been on the line for 35 mins. Not only is this unacceptable, it is clearly unorganized and unprofessional. I notice you are not bbb accreddited with the better business bureau.

Desired outcome: I WANT MY REFUND TODAY

After sitting on the phone for an hour the rep Mandy Bulmincia hung up the phone on me. Now I am back on the line with Matalda and she is asking me questions as if there aren't any notes and I have been calling about this since the beginning of Feb. I am now on hold waiting on her to confirm if a refund check has even been issued. I am so angry right now.

Apple Vacations Hotel Problem

We purchased a trip to Cancun Mexico from defendant Apple Vacations's website with

confirmation number N8H503AP for US total of

$5,184.59. This trip package included hotel, air fare and transportation to and from airports.

Unfortunately the hotel didnt give us the room we booked and the transportation company didnt

take us to the airport, we reported this firstly to the hotel management then the transportation

company, they really didnt care about our problem and they pointed out a system issue. Apple

Vacations is responsible for the whole conflict, they misrepresent all inclusive package

definitio, we really didnt enjoy our time and emotionally stressed during this problem, we feel

like Apple Vacations Inc, Riu Palace Peninsula and Amstar scamming people like us in foreign

countries.

Desired outcome: REFUND

Apple Vacations Cancelled vacation

On December 21 my family of eight had a vacation booked to Punta Cana. We booked this through Apple vacations. Through no fault of our own frontier airlines canceled our flight two days in a row and then could not get us another flight for five more days so our vacation had to be canceled. The hotel agreed to give us a full credit with no penalties and the airline agreed to give us all of our money back. Apple vacations now has all of that money and refuses to give it back and will not give me a timeline of when I will get it back. I can’t even book another vacation because I have to use a travel credit through Apple vacations again. Their customer service is nonexistent. I have sat on the phone on hold for three hours and have been transferred to three different people and nobody can tell me what is going on. All they keep telling me is that it’s someone else’s fault and I will just have to wait. They can’t tell me how long I have to wait either. Our Christmas was ruined and all I want to do is book my kids another vacation but I am at the mercy of Apple vacations who is no help at all! They are the worst company ever right behind frontier airlines. I hope no one uses them again so that their vacation is not ruined. I have emails to back it up that I should be getting a credit within seven days but three people I have spoken to said I never should have gotten that email. I have proof of everything that was said to me and still it is doing no good.

Desired outcome: I want my money back in the 7 days that I was promised

Apple Vacations Hotel credit given for water leak in room

We had reservations #382003AX at Best Western in Williamsburg for december 9-13, 2022. On our second day there we returned to find our room flooded from a broken pipe in the ceiling. The hotel said they would relocate us and give us a credit for one night. That we should call apple and let them know as we did and gave them the front desk persons name. Later that day we were informed that Apple had called front desk and accepted the one night credit.

When will we receive this credit from Apple?

I called and was transferred to several people and finally told to go to Customer care @apple vacations. com and they would review emails and get back to me.

Rex and Nancy McRoberts, [protected]@aol.com [protected]

Desired outcome: Please refund for one night stay.

Apple Vacations Reservation 69D003AP Denver to Punta Cana. Flight credit not received from Spirit Airlines

Wed 10/12/2022 5:10 AM we arrived at DIA and checked in for flight NK1320 to Ft. Lauderdale continuing on to Punta Cana. Airline Confirmation MGGCKZ. It took until 6:04 to get through TSA and on the tram to the gate. The 6 AM flight had left. The next available flight on Spirit was that Sat 10/15/22. I spoke with an Apple rep to preserve my hotel reservation and change my AMSTAR shuttle service. Since Breathless Resort and Spa in Punta Cana said they would hold my room but charge me for the night(s) I was not there I really had no choice. I had to book a flight on American Airlines at midnight and fly all night with a 5 hour layover in CHT to get to Punta Cana the next day at an additional cost of $794. When I asked the Spirit reps about my bag that was gone, the first told me it would go to Punta Cana. The second told me that she would send an email to Ft. Lauderdale-have them pull it and send it back to Denver arriving at 10:35 pm it didn't come. I called Spirit airlines customer service and she said that she would not give me flight credit for the DIA-PUJ trip because "the computer says that you no showed". When I asked "Then how did my suitcase get to Punta Cana?" she said talk to someone at the airport. I spoke to a Supervisor at Ft. Lauderdale on the return trip and she said that I had to "Call it in". After purchasing a "6 Golden Apple all-inclusive package" I am left asking "Where is the Service?" and "What is the Point of booking through Apple Vacations?" if I have to spend hours arguing with the airlines and finding my own flights!

Desired outcome: Either travel credit for the unused portion of the DEN-PUJ flight for 2 people preferably Not on Spirit Airlines or a cash refund of $764 to reimburse the actual cost of the second flights I purchased on AA same day.

Apple Vacations Canceled flight

My flight was scheduled to depart on 07/22/2022 at 11:15am with frontier airline. When I arrived to the airport after driving a 2 hours to the airport from Tampa. I went to check in and gave the young man at the counter my ID, passports and Covid test and he pulled up the flight and told me that my flight was canceled by Frontier since May and they did not have any flights out for that day, and the next flight was leaving out on Sunday. I told him I can not take that flight due to me having to be back to work on Wednesday. All I can do is brake down and cry. I was looking forward to this vacation for a long time after losing my Dad and for someone to tell me my flight had been canceled since May with no kind of notification or update. I then called my travel agent the moment I found this out she then called Apple Vacations to see what was going on. She and I Spoke with a agent there and he stated that he didn't see a flight canceled on Apple site. So He told me that he was sorry for what had happen and I will be getting my full refund back due to this not being my fault. I called back on 07/29/2022 to get update on the refund and the young lady told me that they will have to contact the airline because I can be penalize for the flight that wasn't my fault for cancellation.. This has mentally exhausted me. Its clear to me that there was a lost of communication. I would like a full refund on my package.

Reservation Number: B3K9A0AP

Airline conf: W4JFVE

Desired outcome: Full refund on package and airline. I should not be charged for something I did not do.

Apple Vacations Full refund not processed

I contacted Apple Vacations on June 15th to report an illness. I wanted to change the date adter 2 hours of being in hold they agreed per my email no fees would be accessed. This is the brand policy and clearly written. They needed to contact the hotel, Breathless, and then they would email me to change the dates. Nothing ever occurred. I couldn't reach anyone at Breathless and everytime I called Apple Vacations they suggested I wait to hear back from Breathless. Again after trying to contact Breathless I spoke with Jamie in reservations on June 22nd. She said she replied on June 16 and stated all she needed was my Covid test and we could proceed. Breathless approved the decision on June 23rd after receiving my test with no fees accessed. Later I receive an email from the post travel department of Apple/ALG regarding an approval amount if $1000. My full amount of $1,510.15 should be refunded. If Apple is saying they are refunding $1000 and no fees were to be accessed on either side to change the dates because I called on time, why has over $500 been deducted? why am I not getting the full refund when no fees or penalties should've been accessed per notes, per management, per policy? And my initial request was to change dates not a refund.

Desired outcome: Since I am being refunded, my funds in its entirety would be appreciated because I have spoken to both parties and no fees were to be accessed.

Apple Vacations Vacation trip

1. We bought a vacation trip from Apple vacation to travel to Jamaica on May 17,2022 and return May 22, 2022. We paid over $2,600 for the trip.

2. We bought trip protection for our trip.

3. Our takeoff airport was Baltimore, MD and connection at Fort Lauderdale, FL, and then to Jamaica.

4. On the day of flight, we check-in; and flew our first leg to Fort Lauderdale, Fl. Then, we checked-in at our connection flight for Jamaica.

5. Unfortunately, a flight attendant came in and asked us to leave. When we ask for the reason, he pointed out to our dog, which is a service animal. The Dog has been approved for flight and that is why we were allowed to check-in in Baltimore. We were told by Baltimore crew that we are good and cleared to fly with our service dog.

6. However, we couldn't continue our trip to Jamaica; it had to be aborted.

7. Our vacation was interrupted; and therefore, we request for recovery of damage. We have bought trip protection on the vacation. Therefore, we ask that Apple Vacation reimburse our paid expense for the trip.

Regards;

Henok Gabisa

Betty Etana

Desired outcome: Reimbursement of the trip expense

Apple Vacations Travel

I booked a Hawaii trip back in January 2020 I had to cancel due to the Corona Virus then I reschedule in April 2020 then I cancel due to the Corona Virus. I am a senior with risk of the virus. I paid $3100 for the trip, it included air fare to Honolulu hotel at Marriott Waikiki then island flight to Kona Fairmont hotel car rental and return flight to LAX. I was told by customer rep to call back when I felt safe to fly to Hawaii. I called last week when restrictions were lifted. I was told when I called to rebook that my credit had expired. No one from Apple Vacations never told me anything about credit expired. I filed a complaint with better business bureaus federal trades commission and the credit card company. I talk to another rep from Apple Vacations and she said she would look into the manner. She called back yesterday and told me I would receive a refund of $2300. I am currently dealing with credit card company. I called Hawaiian Airlines and they told me that I had a credit of $187. Apple said I lost all $187.Looks like Apple is not honest with the customer . They just want to keep your money.

Desired outcome: I want $3100 I paid for the trip. Apple is not entitled to keep the money since they lied about the fare I paid for inter island flight. Please respond in a timely manner. IslandG

Apple Vacations Full credit of paid vacation with traveler's insurance

I booked a family trip through Apple Vacations, reservation # 958RA0AP leaving for Jamaica on Jan5-10, 2022. In December of 2021, my sister-in-law found out that her 80 year old mother whom is in an assisted living facility contracted COVID on December 26, 2021. At this point my sister in law did not want to leave the country and wanted to stay with her mother. I called Apple Vacations on December 26, 2021 to put her portion of the vacation on hold utilizing the traveler's insurance. I was told by the agent that she would take care of everything and that it was no problem. She would contact the resort and airlines. That whenever my sister in law was ready to use her travel credits that she could call and use them within 13 months. I asked if I needed to do anything else, I was told "no." I asked if I would receive confirmation that it was all taken care of again I was told, "no."

Further, all calls are recorded, but for some reason, they were having trouble with this investigation!?

Desired outcome: Full refund/travel credit for the entire amount paid/written confirmation jonespa.[protected]@gmail.com
