Service
DSLD the lender who I purchased my home from gave me instructions to transfer my termite services to my name. Arrow was contacted on 6/29 to transfer the service. Upon contacting Arrow I asked the rep to add in home and outdoor monthly pest control. I was told I would receive a call back to schedule a time for the service to be performed. Service wa...

I'm a veteran, military spouse, and local realtor. I had an employee Theresa in Panama City aggressively approach me several times after I asked her not to. I was in a car accident with another car in front of your business, and had just gotten out of my vehicle to call the police when your employee came out aggressively demanding we move our vehicles at 7:30 am from your empty parking lot. This is the Face of your company. I will NEVER use you again. The person Theresa does not value the "honor, integrity, servant leadership, or teamwork" concept. Who does this?! The other vehicle that I wrecked with had more common sense then her! I have referred real estate clients to your company many times. NEVER again. There were several witnesses including the other driver in the accident. I let the officer know as this was aggressive, attacking behavior, also the tow truck company.
Desired outcome: Fire Theresa. She's aggressive, nasty, and a crap human being frankly! She made a car accident far worse by her cruel, and unusual behavior.
poor cooperation sending correct w-2s
Contacted Mrs. Anna President of payroll in the roswell ga office. Informed her of inconsistencies dealing with my state tax line and that i could potentially be audited by the IRS. And was told it was no big deal and I was wrong and the w-2 was correct. Spoke with my CPA and found out it very much did matter. Still no help from corporate have been trying to get resolved since Wednesday 01/29. Can someone anyone help me?
unethical behavior
I own rental properties in decator, texas and surrounding area... I have been looking into pest control. Thouhgt "arrow" was gonna be my choice, but one name continues to come up that has changed my mind completely! "david eason" i don't like the way he treats customers, some who are personal friends and some acquaintances. Therefore i will continue to search out other options. Thanks dw
sentricon
Recently I found out that my sentricon guy was let go from arrow exterminators...he was very professional, nice, and always called and scheduled my service as I requested, unlike the guys before him, personally I think they let him go because when he was over here last, he explained that they were doing a sentricon conversion, and that they would no longer going to come over ever 90 days, which I though was suspect, why would they changed something that wasn't broke to begin with...but anyway, I told him that if that was going to happen, that they probaly wasn't going to need him anymore, and I was right. I bet they tried to make him look silly when they let him go, he apparently wasn't doing his job right, even though he has been doing his job right in front of me for over 2 years, to me I think they are full of it...I really liked him, and am sorry that he is no longer with the company, but because of that I am going to cancel my service, and go with COOK'S, them came over and gave me a price, and told me that I will have the same technician to service my house, which I think is key...I don't see why arrow, fires people who do a great job with their customers, I just don't want to do business with a company like that anymore, and anybody who wants to feel any level of comfort for termite service should seek termite coverage elsewhere...ROLL TIDE

This shows a lack of knowledge on the consumer side when it comes to termite control. SENTRICON calls the shots when it comes to up fit of their stations; not Arrow. Before, your beloved serviceman was inspecting wooden stakes inside the stations. If he found termite activity he would have to "recruit" termites into a cartridge containing growth regulators and replace the stakes with cartridge. These had to be inspected quarterly for activity. Last year year sentricon came out with ALWAYS ACTIVE. This allows that cartridge to be in the station at the time of install or up fitted into existing stations. The termites feed on IGR 's from the beginning and only need to be checked 1 time a year. And yes, those cartridges expensive. You're beloved serviceman probably was promoted, because bait station work is reserved for the inexperienced folks.
Sentricon "conversion" was changing from a bait system that had to be changed every quarter because the product really just didn't work past that time period, to a bait system that lasts for years in the ground and only has to be checked once a year. I personally work in a very busy Arrow office, and we have exactly ONE technician that checks the Sentricon stations for ALL of our office's customers by himself. I'm sure we had more techs that changed bait stations back when we were on the quarterly service - people complain about the Sentricon annual renewal fee "only" paying for "one service when they used to get four a year", but this new system is really a better system because of the way it is designed. It's less hassle for the customer, too, because they don't have to keep scheduling quarterly inspections.
The company is really good about not firing people unless they are really, really deserving of a firing (like crashing into something in the company vehicle while on meth - true story - he must have slipped through the cracks because the company does drug testing) - usually people are moved around. The good ones are promoted - they have been growing during this entire slow economy, and people have been promoted left and right to accomodate all of the new offices they have been opening.
That being said, there was probably either a good reason he was laid off that you don't know about, or he chose to leave rather than get moved somewhere else. I am not management or a long time employee so I have no reason to defend the company on this complaint, but I thought that it should be said that Arrow doesn't just let good people go without trying to make it work with them first (going to another department or office, etc).
Poor Service
I signed up for quarterly service for $90 per month. Due to my work schedule I have to have my pest control service on a Saturday. The exterminator was able to come out on a Saturday but I was going to be out of town so I told him to service just the outside of my house. 3 months later my next service was due. I made sure that I was going to be home on the Saturday he was to arrive because the inside of my home had not been treated since ordering the service. I had a 10am appointment but he did not get there until 11:30am. By that time I had left for another appointment and the inside of my house was not serviced yet again. There was no call that he was going to be late or anything. It's very frustrating to pay $90 for a service and you're only receiving half the product. The interesting thing is I called to cancel my service and I explained to the rep why I was cancelling. She felt bad but said in order to cancel I have to pay for the last service. I asked her how much it would be since the inside of the house was not treated. She said that it would be $90. Priceless... I have had Arrow before but had to cancel when I moved out of town. Not anymore...

The way it works is that you could have had a free callback any time during each three month period for the inside service as well as any specific problems. I'm sorry that your office and the staff there, as well as your tech, did not explain this to you, but the fee is the guarantee for three months of service and not for that one visit. You could have had the tech come back out any time to do the inside. And the "one more quarter" is probably because when you sign up, you sign for a year's worth of service, and that was probably your 3rd quarter when you wanted to cancel. I'm sorry this happened to you, but if you were interested again, you may want to give Arrow another try - it's really one of the best exterminating companies around and if you speak to the right person, they will explain everything about your service to you in detail. I personally know that the office where I work at, we try to make sure the customer understands what they are paying for and what the "rules" are. Both Atlanta offices (Midtown and Buckhead) have changed a lot since you left your review - perhaps you should try and check us out again?
Poor customer service
I manage an apartment complex. We have been bonded for termites with Arrow for 7 years. We changed management recently, and apparently the renewal bill slipped through the cracks. I called them to get a copy of the invoice so we could pay it, but a few days later we were cancelled for non-payment. The funny thing is, they cancelled us on the day we called...
