Ashley Stewart review: Jumpsuit purcased 1

I purchased a jumpsuit at Ashley Stewart on 1449 Rockaway Parkway, Brooklyn, NY 11236 on Saturday, June 24, 2024. I did not try on the outfit in the store, due to time constraints. When I arrived home, I decided to take the item out of my shopping bag only to realize that the legs of the outfit was very very flare, not to my liking as to what I saw in the store window. The legs appeared to be straight in the store window, and when I got home the legs were humongously flare. Nevertheless, I did not try on the item or wear it to my function. I decided to return back to the store on Rockaway Parkway on June 25th, 2024. I explained it to the store clerk who helped me with this complaint, who in turn examined the item, and informed me that the neck of the item looked a little soiled, and proceeded to question me when I purchased the item, if I had noticed it was a little soiled. I explained to her that if it was soiled why would I make a purchase, which was kind of ludicrous. I explained to her that at purchase, the store clerk helped me with the item and brought it to the register for me to purchase which was the only one in my size. However, with my examining the item when I got home, I was not pleased, and never tried on the item. It was as though she was accusing me of soiling the item, which I brought back for as a return item to the store due to my dissatisfaction of the style of the item. I've been a customer for over 10 years and have never had any issues with Ashley Stewart. I only returned the item due as an unsatisfied customer. The clerk was a little arrogant concerning me returning this item, and I felt that she was talking to me in an accusatory manner, which I have never experienced at any of your facilities. I was very dissatisfied, because it seems like she was making an accusation as why the garment seemed to be lightly soiled as if I was responsible for this item. I would kindly like to speak to a representative to discuss this matter.

I've been a satisfied customer for years and have never had such an experience in any of your stores. I am truly taking into consideration closing out my account due to this experience. It was truly her response, which brought about a reproach to me. Would greatly expect hearing a response back to this complaint. Cordially yours...
