Aspen dentist said I needed root canal. I inquired about dental implants.
Oral surgeon removed all of my bottom teeth, including healthy ones!
He inserted two posts to hold dentures. I did NOT want dentures!
After several visits over a year later, I was given a temporary denture which was too big and didn't fit. After another several months, I was given a permanent denture. It never fit well, and I was sick of going for "adjustments". My mouth is always sore because the two posts inserted in my lower jaw hurts my tongue.
I can't chew properly, and I have developed a lisp when I speak.
Due to not having the bottom teeth and unable to chew, I developed inflammation in my stomach and irritable bowel syndrome. Now, I have several hundred dollars in medical bills due to not being able to properly chew and digest food. I have paid several thousand dollars to Aspen and they won't return my calls. I am 68 years old, retired, on Social Security. Why does Aspen Dental treat senior citizens so badly? There are several hundred complaints from patients who received poor care and unusable dentures!
Desired outcome: Refund for dentures and compensation for physical pain and emotional distress.
