Hello,
My name is Benny Landriscina and I'm the owner of an Audi 2020 Q 5 .
The vehicle has about 6,500 miles. When I bought the car in August 2020 I also purchase a 4 year Audi Care Service Package. The car was scheduled to be serviced last Friday @ 10:00am at the Audi Service center on 63rd Street and 2nd Ave in Brooklyn,NY. Early Friday morning my neighbor called me to tell me that my car which was parked in my driveway ( along with my other car a Subaru 2021 Forester). Apparently the heavy rain seeped into the well in the trunk where there's a spare tire and main battery and must have short circuit the system. Even my Audi Connect that I have on my cell phone was not working.
Since I could not get into my car even with the remote or the skeleton key I called the Dealer and spoke to the service mechanic and his Supervisor.
They told me that there was nothing they could do and suggested that I call Road Side Assistance or Triple A for service. I called both. Triple A showed up first around 2:30pm and even though this technician was able to pop the trunk from the inside trunk area, he determined that the system was water logged even though the inside of the car was totally dry. He suggested that the car be towed to the Dealer. Around 3pm the Tow Truck sent by Roadside Assistance showed up and towed the car to the dealer. As of today Oct.4th, I still have not heard back from Michael from Audi's Service Department ( phone # is718-719-4975 ). So far my experience with this Dealer and the Audi Care Service Agreement has been terrible to say the least. Can someone get involved and Help me?
Thank you. Benny Landriscina cell # [protected]
