a6 ultra s-trnc gearbox fails weeks out of warranty

Audi ULTRA S-TRNC Gearbox FAILS weeks out of warranty on 38 month old A6
Bought an AUDI A6 Ultra S-TRNC July 2016 have full service history wit Audi Approved garages spending over £35k, out of the blue Friday 2/09/19 heard a strange whining noise from the engine took it into Audi Stirling who advised Gearbox pump had failed and resulted in gearbox damage, it will cost £9117.60 to fix, neither the dealership I bought it from Audi Stirling or Audi UK all the way up to the Managing Director were interested and refused to help me. Just kept saying out of warranty. Their aftercare is appalling and when you investigate the Gearbox online the internet is littered with Ultra S-TRNC fails with no help from AUDI. Not even a warning light on the dashboard lights up no warning at all. Today I have written to WATCHDOG and to 2 national papers. Not what you expect from a leading car manufacturer!

I never sent requested info, the obvious red flag is an international airport company does not use outlook.com. The term "have no fear" (2nd paragraph) if another red flag. The biggest red flagI never entered any contest at Audi, in the U.S or Germany/. What is the goal of this? Just because I checked the email address that is non existent is laughable. Please add this to the complaint file

Hi
I've been struggling for more than 4 years now about water level decrease, and followed all AUDI local service center recommendations and changed all the parts and paid all the expenses.
After multiple visits and thousands of pounds paid and leaving the car for months at the service center, still the same issue is there.
Tried to send a complain the AUDI, but they failed me and directed me again and again to the same incompetent local service center that failed AUDI by not able to identifying the issue and putting pressure on me to change multiple parts in vain.
This is very inconvenient and putting time and financial pressure on me which is unacceptable

poor service
I have been having issues with my Audi A1. Gear grinding. This vehicle has been to the dealership. The problem is still present and the dealer is coming up with all sorts of excuses. They have worsen the situation. Their service is terrible. I have been waiting since 3 weeks for the DP to call me. This has been very costly from my side and he does not return my call. Been to the dealership and he been off sick or not available.

I bought my brand new 2014 A-3 on January 2014. Today, April 2019, the car has less than 40, 000 kms.
The car has been maintained by the book. All its scheduled maintenance has been done at the authorized dealer that sold me the car. Yet I have had a multitude of problems: a faulty transmission was changed; a leaking radiator had to be changed, and a whirring noise has been my constant companion for the last year and a half.
I have taken the car almost every other month to the dealer to have this whirring noise, (which I can describe as if a fan belt was slipping). I recorded the noise and shared it with the dealer. The mechanics said it was not clear enough. And despite having the recordings and my complaints nothing was solved. On two occasions the dealer kept the car for close to a month as needed parts had to be especially imported. Every time they said the issue was solved. Yet the noise continued. Since January 2019 the car has spent more time at the dealer than in the streets.
I even sent a recording of the noise. But it was not considered "clear"enough. No follow up with the factory took place. When this last January the engine failure light came on, the technician sent by AUDI to my house to verify if my car was road worthy checked the car and told me there was an issue with some sensors. Regarding the whirring noise he diagnosed an issue with the double clutch. I passed on that information to the dealer. (apparently, the mechanics at the dealer's shop do not follow up with the diagnostics technicians, even though they all work for the same dealer/distributor).
The car was in the dealer's garage for about two weeks. Finally, some parts I cannot describe were changed to eliminate a "clacking" noise. The very day I received the car back from the dealer I took it for a short drive: the whirring noise was still there, and the engine failure light still turned on. Despite all parts changes and work on the car none of the problems had been solved. It seems no effort had been made to check the clutch as the source of the whirring noise as the technician had suggested. So, I find myself one more time without a car, waiting to have the issue repaired, which I assume (and hope) this time will be addressed.
So, the very same day I received the car back from the dealer I was in the same place I had been in January having spent U$400 in repairs: with a whirring noise and lighting sensor showing engine malfunction. That very afternoon yet another technician came to my house to diagnose the car. He diagnosed exactly the same problems as in January: the same sensors failing and, just like the first technician in January, that the whirring noise was a double clutch issue. He even shared with me sound recordings he had from other Audi A3 with exactly the same noise and which the dealer had repaired. The car has been taken to the dealer once again.
Having so many problems from day 1 shows to me, a shoddy manufacturing and poor quality control, both in manufacturing and servicing for a high value brand, that purports to be a "luxury", technically on the leading edge automobile. The inability of the dealer to solve the problem, the fact that it did not follow up and ignored its own technicians' assessment of the problem (an issue with the double clutch) makes me wonder about AUDI's reliability and support for its brand reputation. (throughout all the process there was constant consultation with Audi's factory).
My wife's car, on the other hand, is a 2012 Subaru XV (Crosstrek in the US). The purchase price was roughly 2/3rds of the price of the Audi A3. In all these years we have had only one minor problem: a short circuit in one of the brake lights, solved in a 15 minute visit to the dealer. In short, we get far more reliability and better service from Subaru than Audi.
From my experience and standpoint, Audi's brand value for money is highly overrated. Owning and Audi is not worth the trouble and cost. I will sell the A3 as soon as it is returned to me (at a loss given its history of unreliability and unresolved problem) and I vow not to own, buy, accept as a loaner or rent an Audi ever again, and endeavor to make sure other people do not fall into the Audi trap, sharing my experience of shoddy manufacturing quality and poor service through my social networks.

audi care contract
I purchased my Audi A4 in February/March of 2014. My vehicle was actually a 2013 model that had been used by the dealership as a service vehicle since its in-service date at the beginning of 2013.
The salesman handling my transaction suggested I purchase an Audi Care contract under which I would prepay for regular services up to and including the 45, 000 mile service. I proceeded to do so. According to the paperwork I was given, the contract would expire at 5 years or 45, 000 miles, whichever came sooner. At the end of 2018 I presented my vehicle for its 45, 000 mile service expecting it to be covered under my contract.
I was told that the contract had expired and was charged $150. The service manager did point out that the agreement had been dated for the in service date of the vehicle and not for the date on which I purchased it. None of the paperwork I signed under the agreement indicated this and I appealed my case to Audi Customer Service. Some weeks went by and my appeal was refused.
Apparently, it indicates this on the Audi Care website but who consults a website when being sold an Audi Care contract? I am publishing this to alert other customers that might be tempted to buy an Audi Care contract on a used vehicle to beware.
repeated problems because of fault design
I am the owner of an AUDI A6 car (production date 14.07.2007, no: WAUZZZ4F08N024651).
In the last 1.5 years the engine broke down three times, for the same reason, which as I was explained was caused by a faulty design of a small part (that costs less than 5 euros!). A design that has been replaced as I descovered already in 2010 (the local AUDI dealer sells since then alternative designs) WITHOUT ANYONE INFORMING ME. Repairs that have cost me more than 5.000 euros in total.
More specifically, the engine was destroyed for the third time few days ago because (as the local dealer explained to me) the (square) edge of the very small axis that conveys the rotation from the crank's (winch) gear to the counterweight - oil pump axis below is destroyed by the time and as a result causes a major problem (the small axis that causes the problem costs less than 5 euros!, but it is very difficult to reach it). Because of the frequency of the problem, as I was told by your representative, AUDI changed this design with an alternative one already in 2010. This must be true because your representative only sells the replacement design since then (which means that many other parts must be replaced as well, e.g carter, something I tried to avoid the first 2 times).
Because those consequent breakdowns, which have been caused by a fault design as AUDI admits, have caused me a lot of trouble, iritation and money, something I would not expect from an AUDI car, I would like to ask you at least to cover the financial costs of the damages.

service center - audi kuwait
Dear,
I'm contacting you to complaint about Audi Kuwait Service center.
I have a Q5 model 2014. Regardless that the majority of my experience with the service center is bad what happened this year is not acceptable. They are not honest, not giving a real advice rather they r searching for a financial gain regardless the safety of the client. Last week i sent my car for my last free service with Audi, the agent who was handling my car service is Jason. I shared with him my concerns about the car which was mainly the sound of the breaks. The next day he highlighted that the thermostat is leaking and the fuel hose is cracked which will be fixed and i have to pay around 400 kuwaiti dinars which is a very big amount. I was wondering how i have 2 serious problems in the car and I didn't even get 1 automatic notification that there's a problem, then i sent my father to check and they convinced him that this is serious and affects my safety and we gave to fix them.
Based on this advice we gave them the ho sign to do the needful. when we were receiving the car my father asked them for the damaged parts, Surprisingly the fuel hose was not cracked and the thermostat was like a brand new!
In addition, the invoice was very high due to labour cost which includes around 70 Kuwaiti Dinars just to check for one part which I didn't ask them to check but they said that they need to check it for my safety!
What they have done to me is considered cheating the client for financial gain.
I need to be contacted by one of the managers ASAP to share with them my serious complaint.
I was thinking to change my car and get the newer model but now I'll definitely ignore this idea and I'm advising all my circle of friends not to buy Audi.
The service center in Kuwait is really ruining the reputation of Audi international.
Finally, they said that the breaks ate good though it still having the same sound after receiving the car which clearly shows that they didn't take care of my concerns instead they were focusing on the commercial gain
What happened with me is unprofessional and I really need your help
q7 windshield damage
The windshield on my Q7 has been damaged and in need of replacement for 5 months. My Audi dealer says they cannot tell me when a replacement will be available. This is a safety and vehicle traffic violation issue. I have driven an Audi for four years and my wife also has an Audi. I expect more from Audi than this. There are other choices out there. after sales service
A little more than a month ago I bought Audi Q7 at Warsaw Audi dealer - Rowinski-Wajdemaier. After I collected the car I have been completely ignored by the dealer. Was promised to get extra rubber mats with the car as a gift that never materialized. The car I received was without the extinguisher and when I pointed it out, the salesman put one extinguisher loose to my trunk. Later I discovered it was already 2 years old and almost expired. All desribed above is not what bother me the most. I can buy the mats and extinguisher myself (that I actually did already). The worst is the way I have been traated after I sign the leasing papers and collected the car. I never managed to get in touch with the salesman person that actually sold me the car. Was promised many times that I will be contacted and all my questions will be answered and it never happened. I even talked to dealership manager with no result. Later on he was not willing to talk to me any more. Buying the car of premium segment like Audi one could expect at least decent treatment from the seller.

audi q5
Good morning -
I own a Q5, 6 weeks ago, it stopped in the middle of a high way all of the sudden!
I was a great risk trying to pull over the car to the right of the street but I managed to do it with minimum damage.
When it was submitted in the service center in Dubai, it took them 3 weeks to fix this engine problem and it costs me 24, 000 AED which is a huge number by all means.
2 weeks ago, I received my car, after spending a fortune on rental cars for 3 weeks.
Today, when I was willing to drop my kids to school, the car didnt turn on!
with an EPC light in the panel, when I googled this error, it seems that this an issue with the engine sensor, AGAIN!
I called the customer service, who put me on hold and get back to me telling me that none is available at the service center to take my call.
I asked her for an emergency solution as I cannot stand living without my car again, I can't even move it to the service center.
I asked her to follow up on the service center and asked someone to call me back, am expecting someone to pick my car as I can not move it, and provide me with a temporary car.
After all the troubles I went through with my kids without my car, this is the least to expect, I have been waiting for more than 35 minutes now with no news and no one called.
Am raising my complaints for a quick action, please.
Thank you for your understanding,
Riham
oil level
From many months ago, I noticed that oil lamp is turned on at the time which no services due is required, as I always know that services lamp is related to the oil level alarm, which mean that I have an internal proplem
I went to the maintenance center, they took the car for 4 days, and finally, no report was clarified as they didn't know the reason
This issue repeated many times, at the last time, I went directly without taking an appointment as I was risky, but I got surprised from that reply, that I didn't take an appointment, as they couldn't receive it
And they weren't care about my safety which conflict withAudi rules regarding the customer

poor quality vehicles
I bought a brand new Audi A4 2.0T last year. Ever since it has been in and out of dealerships across Gauteng. It's been more at dealerships for repairs on the same problem than I have managed to use it. 42000km of which most have been used for their testing processes. I have been told so many different stories about what was wrong with the car that even i am not sure what parts they haven't tried yet. 2 weeks at Bruma Audi, 4.5 weeks at Audi East Rand, almost 6 weeks at Audi The Glen, 5 times being towed, hundreds of different parts fitted, many new dents and scratches at dealerships and NOBODY can say what's actually faulty on the car. Brandon(service manager at Audi The Glen) says this" firstly the other dealerships should have found the fault as he picked up numerous faults that nobody else picked up" he cannot give me a courtesy car because they are all out due to other faulty cars being repaired. What a joke of a vehicle. #dontbuyaudi unless you like not using a car you spend money money on.
Up till now nobody anywhere can tell me how long more it will take to get my car sorted and returned.
audi center durban
Am Sonnyboy bought a car at Audi center Durban.
After signing contract Audi failed to deliver a car to me but I was adviced to use my expenses to collect the car and will be refunded within a day.
FIRST...
Since I collected a car on the 07 September 2018 to date I have never received my refund.
SECONDLY...
on my contract tracker was included on my finance organised by the dealer but up to today my car is never being fitted with the device.
My car insurance for to give me full cover I should have that tracking device therefore who will be reliable should something happened to the car because the insurance states that for me to receive a full cover tracker must be fitted.
N.B
I have tried several times to talk to Mr De Bruin about this but nothing is happening
To be honest am really disappointed by the service received from Audi.
Please help
Kind regards

poor service from audi assist technician and call centre person called lephoho
I called Audi Assist at 18.20 on 11 September 2018 and spoke to Lephoho who then put me through to Rainer when I asked if he could send an Audi Assist person to help the security guards who were changing my tyre and had trouble with the jack . I told him where I was - near the on ramp to the M1 north, with the road going left to Booysens and the one to the right going into the Joburg CBD. But he was just not familiar with the area - so disappointing as I discribed it to him but what made it worse was that your person who connected me to him Lephoho tried to tell me that the guy was trying to help. Really, he was really not very helpful and should be ashamed of himself. I got the impression your Audi Assist Technian just did not want to make the effort to come out and check. He sounded uninterested.
You really need to vet your staff carefully for customer care and service. It impacts on your brand and how it is perceived. The area is not safe but for the security guards who were kind enough to assist. Without them I do not think that your Audi Assist would have bothered to arrive and help.
