Auto Anything Review: Terrible Service and Misleading Fit Guide for Kayak Transport Kit
This company is just terrible. I really wish I had read some reviews before I spent over $1k with them. I bought a Hullavator and crossbar kit back in August so that I could transport my kayak. I used their online fit guide and even talked to a customer service rep to make sure that I had the right parts for my vehicle and that everything would work together properly. They assured me that everything was good to go. I ordered my kayak in September and it arrived at REI in the beginning of October. I put the fit kit and crossbars on top of my Edge, but when I tried to install the Hullavator, I found out that the crossbars were too short and I couldn't attach the Hullavator. I contacted Auto Anything via live chat and the customer service rep said that they needed to exchange the crossbars, even though it was past their exchange window, because it was their mistake. He told me to call back during normal business hours and they would take care of it. I have the chat transcript saved.
So, I called back on Monday or Tuesday and was told that I couldn't exchange the crossbars because I was past the exchange window. I told them that I had talked to a rep about this via live chat and that he agreed that they should be exchanged. I asked to speak to a manager and the manager said that they had to contact Thule to see if they could make an exception. He said it would take one or two days. It's been a week now and I still haven't heard anything. Meanwhile, I had to spend $60 to rent a box truck to bring my kayak home, which was just great.
Honestly, I just want to return everything and get my money back because I am so irritated with this company. I want to exchange these crossbars for the ones that are the correct fit for the Hullavator at no additional cost to me, except for maybe a little extra if the longer bars cost more. I will pay the difference for that, but they need to make this right and pay for shipping and handling. Regardless, I won't be using this place again. Their service is just terrible.
Auto Anything Review: Disappointing Experience with Tonneau Cover Order and Customer Service
So, I gotta tell ya, my experience with Auto Anything has been a bit of a rollercoaster ride. I ordered a tonneau cover on January 6th and was told it would be shipped on January 13th. But then, on January 12th, I got on chat with someone and they told me it wouldn't be shipped until January 22nd because the manufacturer was out of stock. Imagine my surprise when I got an email saying the same thing! But then, when I got on chat with the manufacturer, they told me they had 77 ready to ship. What gives, Auto Anything?
Anyway, I finally got the tonneau cover on January 20th and went to install it, only to find that a bracket was broken. Ugh. So, I got on chat again and told them what was wrong and even sent pictures. They said they would forward the info to the manufacturer and let me know what was up. But then, on January 25th, I got on chat again and was told they were still waiting for the manufacturer. And then, to make matters worse, they told me I had to get an RMA from them, send it back, and then they would send it to the manufacturer to see if I could get a new one. What kind of nonsense is that? And to top it all off, the lady on chat ended the chat without giving me the RMA info and still hasn't sent it to me. What a joke!
I mean, come on, Auto Anything. I paid you $300 on January 6th and it took two weeks to even get it, even though the manufacturer had them in stock. And now you want me to wait another 2-3 weeks or more to see if they'll even okay a replacement? Meanwhile, I'm out $300 and can't even order another one from somewhere else. That's just not right. If it came defective right out of the box, well within the 30 days it says on their website for hassle-free exchange, there should be a new one sent and this one sent back after. Everywhere I've dealt with on my own or at work would trade it no problem. I wish I had paid a little more through a company I know would have taken care of it. I wish I had seen this site before ordering through them.
Autoanything.com and PlasmaGlow's Non-Existent Warranty: A Consumer Protection Issue
I bought a light kit from autoanything.com, which is supplied by PlasmaGlow 1325 N. Melba Ct. Gilbert, AZ ***. The light kit had a 12-month warranty, but it only lasted for 30 days after installation. The LED's started to burn out after the first 30 days. I contacted autoanything.com, but they didn't do anything about replacing the defective light kit. I sent them pictures showing the burnt-out LED's, but they didn't issue an "RA" or anything. I had to contact PlasmaGlow, and they issued me an "RA". But here's the thing, they wanted me to remove the light kit without damaging it, or it would void their warranty (12 months) and return it to them for inspection. The light kit consists of two thin film strips containing LED filaments that illuminate and are attached to the headlight housings of the vehicle with an attached adhesive, manufactured by 3-M. As 3-M states, this is a permanent adhesive. Well, removing these strips is impossible without damaging them in some way, which would damage the product and void the warranty. This warranty is, therefore, a non-warranty due to the impossibility of removing these film strips from the headlight housing. To better describe these lights, they produce an Audi headlight-like image when on. I sent pictures of the failed headlights, but it was all to no avail. There aren't a lot of dollars involved here, but it's the principle of the thing, and the warranty that really isn't a warranty. These items were supposed to be covered by a 12-month warranty, but the warranty is impossible to comply with. Therefore, there is a non-warranty at play here, which I believe may be illegal under any common sense warranty plan and consumer protection issue. So, as a result of my experience, I suggest to anyone and everyone reading this, do not purchase anything from either autoanything.com or plasmaglow.com if you expect an intelligent and workable warranty. I am also reporting this to the Attorney General's Office, Div. Of Consumer Protection.
Avoid Auto Anything: Terrible Customer Service and Return Policy
Auto Anything is a place where you should avoid buying car parts. I had a bad experience with them when I ordered brake rotors for my vehicle. I thought I was getting a good deal, but after submitting my payment, I was charged a different amount. This is not okay, and it made me feel like they don't deserve my business.
I tried to cancel my order, but they said it had already shipped, even though it was only a shipping label created. When my item arrived, I called customer service to explain the situation, but they still wanted me to pay a 20% restocking fee. I had to send them screenshots to prove it was a price issue, and they only reduced the fee to 15%. Their return policy states that restocking fees would be waived if it was their mistake, but they didn't follow it.
I attached the same screenshots for people to see, and I advise anyone to stay away from Auto Anything. They don't care about their customers, and their return process is a joke. It's been a while since I returned the item, and I still haven't received my refund. If you're reading this, save yourself the trouble and find a better place to buy car parts.
AutoAnything Review: Terrible Customer Service and Shipping Issues
I gotta say, I'm not too happy with AutoAnything. I ordered some stuff from them on the 16th, and boy do I wish I had checked out some reviews before I did. Lesson learned, I guess - always Google a company before you give them your money.
So, I was supposed to get three packages, but when I checked the tracking numbers, it said that two of them had already been delivered. But we only got one package. We were leaving in just four days, so we needed to know what was going on. I called them up and talked to some guy who I could barely understand. He said that the other two packages were still on their way, and that they'd be here by the 23rd. Okay, cool, I can work with that.
Then, a second package arrived today. I was so excited to get started on installing the hitch, but when I opened the package, there was no hitch kit. What the heck, man? I called them up again, and the same guy answered. He said that the package had already been shipped, but he didn't have a shipping number. After waiting on hold for 30 minutes, he said he was going to call the manufacturer again. Another 30 minutes on hold, and he comes back and tells me that my item is out of stock. But wait, didn't he just say that it had already been shipped? I'm so confused.
So, I asked to speak to a supervisor. This guy, Frank, was a real piece of work. He didn't care about me or my order at all. He just kept telling me that I was stupid for ordering from them, and that there was nothing they could do. He said that they only sell items that are in stock, but then how come my item is out of stock? It doesn't make any sense.
Long story short, they took my money and I have no idea when or if I'm going to get my item. I'm probably going to have to pay another company at least $100 for last-minute shipping. Not cool, AutoAnything. Not cool at all.
Auto Anything Review: Overcharged, Poor Customer Service, and Runaround
I had a really bad experience with Auto Anything. I ordered some seat covers for my husband for Christmas on Friday 11/25 at 9:15am. I ordered them through their website and the total cost was $586 with free shipping. But when I paid, I received a confirmation for the amount of $654! I was really confused and didn't understand why I was charged almost $70 more than I approved. I received an email at 9:19am confirming my order and the unapproved amount. I called the company at 9:28am to speak to a representative but all he could do was tell me that the difference was for taxes. He wouldn't refund me the difference. But the tax was already included with the $586 total. I was really upset and asked them to cancel the order. At 9:43am I received an email stating that a cancel request had been sent.
But at 5:40pm I received an email saying my items have shipped. However, only a label has been made and that was at 4:04pm. That is 6.5 hours AFTER I requested cancellation. On 11/25 at 10:00pm, I received an email stating my cancellation was put in too late that the items have already shipped. On 11/26 at 12:04pm, I then received an email stating that my order will be slightly longer to ship due to delays with FedEx. I have called everyday since the order (except Sunday because they are closed) and asked to speak to a supervisor. No one has allowed me to speak to a supervisor. They have also stated that because the items have shipped (even though they have confirmed they haven't, only a label has been created) I will have to wait to receive the items. Once I receive the items, I can call them for a return approval and pay a 20% restocking fee.
I believe that this company thinks I will get tired of the run around and once I receive the item, I won't want the hassle to return it. They are sadly mistaken. I went and placed the order again today the exact same way I did when I ordered. I took a picture to upload but the file was too big. The total came out to $543.49 before taxes and free shipping. It doesn't take a math genius to know that there is not $110.58 in taxes on this amount.
The worst part is that now I have to buy my husband something else while my $654 is tied up on an item I cancelled only 15 minutes after placing the order. I'm really disappointed with Auto Anything and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
AutoAnything.com Review: Terrible Customer Service and Frustration with Order
AutoAnything.com is a website that sells car parts and accessories. I recently had an experience with them that I want to share with everyone. Let me tell you, it was not a good one.
I ordered a complete set of EBC brake pads for my 2013 Nissan Altima Coupe from AutoAnything.com. The order was delivered in two shipments, with the rear pads being delivered a week after the front pads. When I received the rear pads, I noticed that one pad was missing the wear sensor. I called their customer service to report the issue, and they told me that they would have to notify the manufacturer and it could take up to two days to get an answer. They also said that they were not allowed to send me another set of rear pads until they received an answer. I did not hear back from them, so I called them again. They told me that they had sent me an email, but I never received it. Since I couldn't wait for their answer, I went ahead and installed the rear pads without the sensor.
A week later, I received the front brake pads. When I tried to install them, I realized that they did not fit. I called customer service and was transferred to tech support. The tech support person told me to try and install them without the metal guides, but that didn't work. I left two voice mails for him, but he never called me back. I called customer service again and talked to a nice woman who connected me to the same tech. He suggested sending me a different brand of pads for the front, but I didn't want to have two different brands of pads on my car. He wasn't authorized to send me a complete set of the front and rear pads of the same brand, so he transferred me back to customer service.
In the end, customer service couldn't make any concessions, so they sold me a different brand of front and rear pads at their going price, which was $24 more than the original pads I ordered. I lost two days of time and was very frustrated with the whole experience.
I will never purchase anything from AutoAnything.com again, and I suggest that you don't either. They made an extra $24 off of me, and I had to deal with a lot of aggravation.
Disappointed with AutoAnything's Customer Service and EBC Rotors
I've been buying brakes and rotors from Autoanything for years now, for two different cars. I always buy the same Brake and Rotors (EBC), and they have always been great for me, until now. I bought a Rear and Front Brake and Rotor set for my vehicle. In less than 5 months, the Front rotors failed (purchased in mid to late April). I was disappointed and angry, but I understand that things happen. So, I reached out to Auto Anything to let them know what happened. I talked to a person named Noah, who brushed me along and closed the chat session proactively. He pasted scripted "jargon" in the chat window and closed it preemptively. I had no chance to respond. He was not interested in a response, but wanted to make sure he got his "jargon" in, as if we were having a conversation. But his verbiage went into the windows quick, and then it was closed. Well, Noah, I've saved the session so you can't deny it, and Auto Anything, you lost me as a customer after several years of shopping at your establishment.
I purchased EBC Red Brakes and Rotors (Front), and in less than 5 months, the Rotors were warped! I am beyond disappointed in Rotors failing this quickly. In fact, this is the first time I have ever had a pair of rotors "warp". Rotors were installed properly, as they did not fail immediately, they are dead now. I would appreciate answers. Thank You.
Since it has been 5 months, Noah told me that I will need to reach out to EBC to have them warranty them as they cannot do that here. He also suggested that I reach out to customer service and file a complaint to see if there is more they can possibly do for me. He gave me their phone number, which is ***888.
I am not satisfied with the way Noah handled my issue. He pasted all that crap in there, giving me no chance to respond, then closed the chat session. Never again.
AutoAnything Review: Poor Customer Support and Damaged Product
I had a pretty rough experience with AutoAnything when I ordered side steps for my truck. First off, I never received a tracking number or any kind of notification that my order had shipped. I had to reach out to customer support to find out what was going on. They told me that the steps hadn't shipped yet and that I would get an email when they did. But the very next day, the steps were delivered to my house. I was confused as to how they could be delivered without even being shipped, but I was happy to have them.
Unfortunately, my excitement was short-lived. When I opened the box, I found that the side steps were damaged. There were dents and bends in them, even though the box was in good shape. I was really disappointed, especially because I had ordered the steps for my disabled mom who was coming to visit. She can't get in and out of my truck without the steps, so I needed to get them installed before she arrived on Monday.
I reached out to AutoAnything's customer support via chat and explained the situation. I sent them pictures of the damaged steps and told them that I needed to get them replaced ASAP. But the customer support rep just told me to wait for NFab to get back to me in 2-3 business days. I explained over and over again that this wouldn't work because my mom was coming on Monday, but the rep didn't seem to care.
I was really frustrated at this point, so I asked to speak to someone else. The rep gave me a 1-800 number to call, so I called it and went over everything again with the guy on the phone. He told me that he could see where the pictures had been sent to NFab and that we would have to wait to hear back from them. I explained again that my mom needed the steps to get in and out of my truck, but he didn't have any solutions for me.
I decided to email AutoAnything and see if I could get anything done sooner than 2-3 business days. But I never got a response. At this point, my only option was to tell my mom that she couldn't come visit until I could get the steps replaced. It was really frustrating and heartbreaking, and I felt like AutoAnything didn't care at all.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend AutoAnything based on my experience. The customer support was unhelpful and didn't seem to care about my situation. I wish I had spent my money elsewhere.
AutoAnything's Return Process: Disappointing Fees and Refund Amounts
I had a conversation with AutoAnything Chat about returning an item and I was disappointed with the fees attached to the return process. I requested a chat transcript but it was never sent to me. The refund amount I received was less than half of what I paid and did not include a refund for the taxes I paid on the item. My bill was $359.50 and the amount of the refund was $176.65. Throughout the conversation, the restocking fee was $16.28 but at the end of the conversation, I was refunded $67 for the restocking fee. I was extremely disappointed with the whole process.
When I spoke with Danelle from AutoAnything Chat, I wanted to talk about all the fees attached to the return process. I was surprised to see that the FedEx return label was $110.95 and the restocking fee was $60. I thought that was extreme. Danelle informed me that the total credit was $176.65, but I was not satisfied with that amount. Even with the numbers she provided, the refund would be $215.99. Danelle explained that the total amount they received was $359.50 and the total fees were $195.06 after tax. That was the reason why the refund amount was $176.65. On her calculation, it should be $164.44 given the fees, but $176.65 was the amount that was showing on the order.
I was not happy with the whole process and I won't order again from AutoAnything. I think their company should take a look at Amazon's return policy. I would have clicked a few buttons and been satisfied with my return. I was disappointed that this was not clearly stated. However, Danelle was extremely helpful and I appreciate her time. She adjusted the restocking fee to $67.83 and the total credit was $248.55. She also re-sent the adjusted return label.
Overall, I was disappointed with the return process and the fees attached to it. However, Danelle was very helpful and tried her best to assist me. I appreciate her efforts.
AutoAnything Complaints 50
Have not received parts that were ordered almost a year ago.......
I ordered parts for my Chevy SS from this company on October 7, 2022. Since then I have not received them and the last correspondence from them was an email on May 2, 2023 that the shipping date was August 28, 2023. When I did not receive the parts I began calling the customer service number after September 4, 2023. The phone rings busy every time I call no matter morning, noon, or afternoon.
Desired outcome: I would like a refund as I paid for the products at time of purchase and I have not received the parts.
Horrible Customer Service
Hey car people avoid buying product from AutoAnything. Their customer service STINKS. They took my money and I have not received what I ordered. Made multiple attempts to contact them and I get no response.
I had to contact my bank to report them plus go thru the inconvenience of canceling my debit card and getting a new one.
I have purchased many items from them in the past with no issues, something has changed drastically on their end BUYER BEWARE.

Deceptive Sales Tactics and Poor Customer Service: My Experience with Auto Anything
I recently had a very unpleasant experience with Auto Anything. I purchased a Covercraft HD Car cover from them, which was supposed to be tough enough to withstand hard rain. However, when I received the product, I found out that it was a cheap one-layer cover that leaked at the seams. I live in Florida, where it rains heavily, and I needed a cover that could protect my car from the rain. I explained this to the sales guy, and he assured me that if I was not satisfied, I could return it for a full refund. However, when I contacted them to return the product, they refused to refund my money, saying that it was not refundable.
I was very disappointed with their unprofessional behavior and their deceptive sales tactics. I felt like I had been ripped off, and I was very angry. I tried to reason with them, but they were very unresponsive and did not return my phone calls. I felt like I had been scammed, and I regretted buying from them.
I would strongly advise anyone thinking of buying from Auto Anything to stay away from them. They are a very unprofessional and deceiving company, and they do not care about their customers. I paid almost $300 for a product that was not worth the money, and I could have purchased a better product for $30 on eBay. I wish I had read their poor reviews before buying from them, and I hope that others will learn from my mistake.
In conclusion, I would not recommend Auto Anything to anyone. They are a rip-off, and they do not deserve your business. If you are a representative of Auto Anything reading this, please refund my money in full, and I will be happy to change this review to a positive experience.
Disappointing Experience with Auto Anything: Delayed Orders and False Advertising
I gotta say, I had a pretty rough experience with Auto Anything. I was looking to get a rear bumper for my FJ Cruiser, and I placed an order back in October of 2019. The part I wanted was delayed for almost two months, which was way longer than they promised. So, I decided to cancel that order and try a different bumper that they advertised as being compatible with a swing arm I wanted to use. But when I checked with the manufacturer, turns out that wasn't true. So, I cancelled that order too.
Eventually, I decided to go back to the first bumper I wanted and placed another order in December of 2019. They said it would be delivered in January of 2020, but then they pushed it back to March. I chatted with customer service and they promised it would ship on March 5th, but when I called the next day to check, they told me it had been discontinued.
All of this waiting and back-and-forth really messed up my project, and they had already charged my credit card when I placed the order. I'm really disappointed with the whole experience, and I don't think I'll be ordering from Auto Anything again. It's frustrating to see that they have an A+ rating with the BBB despite all the bad reviews they've gotten. I have all the order numbers and chat transcripts to prove it.
AutoAnything.com Review: Terrible Customer Service and Refund Policy for Custom Fit Cargo Liner
I called AutoAnything, com and talked to one of their reps. I gave him the deets for a custom fit 3D Maxpider Kanu Cargo Liner for my ride and he put it in my cart. I bought it and it came before Christmas, which was sweet cause it was a gift. But when my daughter tried to put it in the trunk, it didn't fit. I've been trying to return it for three weeks now, but they're saying it's been too long and they won't take it back. They also won't do an exchange cause they're saying the manufacturer doesn't make a mat that fits my car. I've been trying to talk to a supervisor, but they keep transferring me to people who aren't really supervisors. They don't even have a phone number to call, so I have to use their "chat" thing, which takes forever. They keep saying a supervisor will call me back in 24-48 hours, but it hasn't happened yet. AutoAnything messed up and now they won't fix it or give me my money back. Don't make the same mistake I did. One of their reps even told me to sell it on Ebay! They asked for pics of it not fitting, which I gave them, but then they said they won't take it back cause it looks like it's been used too much. They keep changing their story. It's just terrible.
Disappointing Customer Service Experience with Auto Anything for EBC Ultimax Rotors and Greenstuff Pads
I recently made an order on Auto Anything for brake pads and front rotors for my Honda Accord. I went for the EBC Ultimax rotors and Greenstuff pads. The shipping was pretty quick, and I received the rear pads a day before the other parts arrived. I was excited to get to work, but things didn't go as planned. After struggling and cursing for a while, I realized that the rear pads were too wide by about an 1/8th inch. I was so mad and hot out, so I decided to put the old pads back in and set it aside for a week or so. I didn't want to attempt the front for fear of having more grabby pads on one end of the car. The EBC pads are supposed to have additional performance characteristics, but I didn't want to risk it without being sure that the parts would fit.
In the meantime, I had to go for outpatient surgery for a past work accident on my hip. After roughly 2 months, I decided to call their customer 'service' number to explain my situation and request to purchase 2 power stop brake kits- Calipers, pads, and rotors for the front AND rear of the car if they would agree to take a return outside of their 30 day policy. I was hoping to get a positive response, but it was not to be. After politely asking several times, I was told to call EBC to make my own exchange for the original parts sold. I was so disappointed and frustrated. I had hoped that they would be more accommodating, especially since I was willing to make another purchase from them.
I have decided to take my business elsewhere. Rock Auto has my next order, and I won't be doing business with Auto Anything again. Those British designed pieces of $#*! are going in a dumpster somewhere alongside my future business with this company.
Auto Anything: A Company of Liars and Excuses - My Personal Experience
This company is a total joke. I called them up to order something and I asked them to check with the manufacturer to make sure they had it in stock and could send it to me right away. After waiting on hold for a while, they told me not to worry and that they had placed the order and it would be shipped out on a certain date. But when that date came and went, I called them back and they gave me some bogus story about the manufacturer not having the item and that they were working on getting it to me as soon as possible. The next day, I got an email saying that the manufacturer was sold out and that my shipping date was pushed back another month.
I was so mad! I decided to contact the manufacturer directly and it turns out that Auto Anything was lying to me the whole time. They made up some story about the manufacturer not having the item when they really did. Instead of being honest with me and just canceling my order, they decided to keep my money and make up excuses. I would never do business with this company again. Every person I talked to there was just making stuff up to try to make me feel better, but nothing ever got done.
I had a first-hand experience with this company and I can tell you that you don't want to buy anything from them. They're just a bunch of liars who will take your money and not deliver what they promised. I attached a screenshot of the email they sent me three weeks after I placed my order, blaming the manufacturer for the delay, but it was all just a bunch of lies.
Disappointing Experience with Morris 4x4 Center: Wrong Part, Poor Customer Service, and Price Issues
Hey there fellow Jeep and 4WD Offroad enthusiasts! I wanted to share my recent experience with Morris 4x4 Center, which is owned by autoanything.com. I've ordered parts online and over the phone from various companies in the past, including Summit, Jegs Offroad Design, Barnes 4wd, eBay, Amazon, and several others for my 69 Chevy Blazer and other vehicles. Rarely have I had an issue with a wrong part, shipping, or customer service. However, my recent order with Morris 4x4 Center was a different story.
I ordered a VI-*** Viair onboard kit, which was supposedly in stock. However, they sent me a Mustang gauge dash part instead. I was confused as to why a Jeep and 4x4 store would even have this part, and it didn't even show up on their website. I spent over 5 hours on hold trying to get the issue resolved. While I could contact a salesman in 5 minutes, it took forever to get through to a customer service rep. When I finally did, they transferred me to another rep and put me on hold again. It was frustrating, to say the least. Finally, the third rep said they would issue me a label for return of the wrong part and eventually a refund. However, I have yet to receive it.
To make matters worse, the part was wrongly advertised and they wouldn't honor the price. I sent two emails, but neither got a reply. They also said management would call me before close, but that didn't happen either. Overall, I was disappointed with the customer service I received from Morris 4x4 Center and would recommend ordering from someone else or a business with better customer service.
So, if you're looking for parts for your Jeep or 4x4 truck, I suggest looking elsewhere. Don't waste your time and potentially end up with the wrong part like I did. Save yourself the headache and order from a company that values their customers and provides better service.
AutoAnything Review: Terrible Customer Service and Return Policy - Avoid!
So, I was looking for some floor mats for my car and I stumbled upon AutoAnything. They had a 10% discount on the first order, which sounded like a good deal to me. I thought it would be a piece of cake to get some front and rear mats for my car, but boy was I wrong!
The front mats were fine, they fit perfectly, but the rear ones were a nightmare. They didn't buckle down and they didn't fit as they should have. I decided to return them and that's when the real trouble began.
I sent them an email to initiate the return process and it took them 13 emails to finally give me the instructions and authorization. And to make matters worse, the return cost was almost half the price of the mats themselves! I felt like they were trying to exhaust me and make it so difficult that I would just give up and keep the unwanted item.
Their customer service was slow and unhelpful, and their return policy was terrible. They kept asking me if the mats were in the original packaging, unused, and resalable, even though I had already confirmed that they were. And yet, they still charged me almost half the price of the mats to return them. What a rip-off!
I think they are just trying to make as much profit as possible from new customers, without caring about repeat business. Well, they won't be getting any repeat business from me, that's for sure!
In conclusion, I strongly advise against buying anything from AutoAnything. Their customer service is slow and unhelpful, their return policy is terrible, and they charge hidden fees and charges. Save yourself the trouble and buy from somewhere else!
Terrible Experience with Morris 4x4 and AutoAnything: Non-Existent Customer Service and Order Issues
I recently had a terrible experience with Morris 4x4 and AutoAnything. I ordered over $2600 worth of items over a month and a half ago, but have only received $200 worth of stuff. The worst part is that customer service is non-existent. If you call to make an order, you'll get an immediate answer, but if you need to check on an order, you'll be on hold for over an hour. And even then, you might not get anyone. Online support is also useless. I've dealt with Thaymar Sanchez, Patrick Turcar, and Thomas LABAU, and they were all useless. Thomas was somewhat helpful, but it didn't make a difference in the end.
Morris 4x4 is a complete breakdown as a business. They should be ashamed of how they're treating customers and should stop taking orders. They clearly state that they don't charge until items are shipped, but they charge immediately. Then they try to get things drop-shipped and blame the manufacturer instead of accepting responsibility and taking appropriate actions. They'll tell you a guaranteed shipping date, and then nothing will happen. The online system to check the status of your order is also not functional. It's stated that my order is shipped and complete over a month ago, but I still haven't received it.
Morris 4x4 was bought by AutoAnything, and AutoAnything has been involved in this order and is aware of what's going on. Therefore, I'm considering them the same. I will never order from Morris or AutoAnything ever again. This has been the worst online company I have ever dealt with. They can't blame COVID, other manufacturers, or high call volumes. That's just making excuses. All other companies I've been dealing with have been able to function and communicate appropriately. There's a complete breakdown with Morris 4x4, and AutoAnything is letting it happen. They need to stop taking orders. They're affecting people's lives and finances. It's pure embelzment.
Auto Anything Review: Terrible Customer Service and Shipping Delays
I bought some floor liners from Auto Anything about a month ago. They said it would take about 3 days to ship, but after 3 days, it still hadn't shipped. I decided to wait until Monday to see if it would ship, but it didn't. I contacted customer support to ask when it would ship, and they said there was a delay and it would ship the next day. But Tuesday came and still no shipping confirmation. I contacted them again and got the same response. I needed the liners that week, so I found them somewhere else for a better price and cancelled my order. The next day, I got a notification that they had shipped, but it was too late.
I contacted customer support to let them know and asked for a return label so I could get a refund. They said I had to wait until I received the item to request it. I waited until Saturday, which was the estimated delivery date, but the item never arrived. I tried to track it, but all it said was that the label was created. I contacted customer support again, but could only reach them through live chat because their phone line was closed. They said the refund had been processed and would take 5 business days to show up on my PayPal. But it's been more than 5 days and I still haven't received it. Luckily, I made a claim through PayPal to get my money back.
I will never shop at Auto Anything again. They are the worst business I've ever dealt with. Save your money and shop somewhere else!
Auto Anything's Poor Inventory Management and Customer Service
I've been a customer of Auto Anything for some time now, but I have to say that my recent experience has left me disappointed. I placed an order for EBC Brake kits on August 3rd, 2021, but the delivery date has been pushed back multiple times since then. At first, it was supposed to arrive in September, then October, November, December, and now the latest update is that it won't be delivered until March 2022. The reason given for this delay is that there is a supply chain shortage and constraints.
I've contacted customer service three times, but it hasn't helped me get the parts I need. Even when I escalated the issue to the management team, they were unable to provide any assistance. I'm running out of patience, and I'm not sure what to do next.
There are a few problems with this situation that I've noticed. First, it's surprising that a multinational company like EBC is unable to fulfill a single kit for months. Second, Auto Anything seems to have poor inventory management practices. They sell products that they don't have in stock, and they charge your credit card without shipping the parts. This means that they have your money, and they don't have an incentive to push their suppliers to fulfill orders. In my case, the management team didn't seem to care about my situation, and I'm concerned that this could hurt other consumers in the future.
Finally, the price of the kits I ordered has increased by 20-30% since August. This seems like a deliberate strategy to encourage customers to cancel their orders, so they can charge the higher price to new customers. It's not a fair practice, and it's disappointing to see a company like Auto Anything engaging in it.
If you're considering ordering from Auto Anything, I would advise you to be cautious. If there is a backlog, make sure you cancel your order and get your money back. Even better, consider shopping elsewhere until Auto Anything changes how they do business. The management team doesn't seem to care about their customers, and that's not a good sign.
order [protected] sneaky cancellation
I ordered a one car seat cover (order# [protected]). After a few hours my son came home and gave me a whole set for the father's day. I contacted Autoanything.com for cancelation and saw on the fedex tracking ( FedEx notified to void this shipment message) that shipment was canceled at 8.20am. Nevertheless today I received a package and after tracking realised it's the very same canceled order was sneaky reshipped at 3.21pm. the same day it was canceled. Now to return this order I'll have to pay a return shipping. Never ever will deal with Autoanything.com again. Attaching order receipt (look at 2 tracking numbers).
Desired outcome: free return
Ordering shocks.
Hi. I ordered shocks from auto anything on march 23rd 2022. The order# is [protected]. Gabriel air hijackers. I patiently waited but was curious about a tracking #. My wife also ordered a set but recieved email saying they were not available. I never got my email so I called auto anything's supplier. They said the shocks have not been sold for 4yrs from them. After waiting and my car sitting for days at mechanic expecting part to come I called auto anything and operator told me to wait until the tracking# comes but there was never a package. I had to actually chat with an agent who finally told me the part was never in stock. Wow! That's how your supposed to treat customers? You guys should make this right. Do something besides refunding my money after heartbreak! You guys were yhe ONLY company that had the part after an extensive search. Disappointed big time!
Desired outcome: I want some kind of show of good faith. Cant have a customer waiting in vain like that. Not good business!

Tool Box for Truck Bed.
The product was delivered, the box it came in was intact, nothing looked like it was crushed. Opened up and the insides were crushed, the lid was warped and jammed. The company (anything auto) did nothing but say, oh you signed for it, you're stuck with it. I just want to tell folks, buyer beware, this company does not take care of their customers at all. You'll be sorry.
Desired outcome: Just wanted them to damaged product.
Wrong item sent after placing order on the phone with customer service
I placed an order on the phone so we could make sure the right part was ordered for a 12 inch drop down step. I received the box in the mail and gave it to the mechanic to install. After the install it was discovered that I was sent a 7 inch step instead of the 12 inch step I paid for. It has been about a month now since I tried to resolve this. I need to talk to someone that can help me. I should not have to even pay for another install. It was your error. Who can I contact that can actually do something about it?

Desired outcome: To get what I paid for the 12 inch, but now I have learned there might be a 15 inch step
Shorted order
They shorted my order. Package was received in poor condition. It was partly open, and there was only the air filter, I inquired about the car bra I also ordered, they first told me it was on bo, and then sent me another email saying it was lost in mail that it fell out, "i" had to file a claim and file all the paperwork and everything. They could do nothing else, they do not have a customer service. I ordered the same car bra from amazon and low and behold it would not have fit in the box I got them. Total scoundrel's and criminal operation. Avoid at all costs! You will lose your money. Here's the chain:

Dear mike,
Thank you for reaching out to us! We were able to review the status of your order. Unfortunately this order had to be pushed back by the manufacturer.
In full transparency due to covid-19 some shipments are taking a bit longer than normal to ensure the safety of our customers and those employees filling orders from our vendors.
We apologize for any inconvenience and unnecessary confusion caused by this.
The newly revised estimated shipping date is now
10/7/20. Once this order ships we will be able to provide you with the carrier information and a tracking number.

Dear mike,
We are so sorry to hear your order arrived in this condition. This is definitely not a normal autoanything experience and we want to make this right! We are limited in the support we can provide via email. However, if you give us a call at [protected], we would be happy to help you file a damage claim and set up a replacement order at no cost.
I waited 2 1/2 hours before hanging up.
hd spinout wheels
This company is bogus and fraudulent. They should be shut down. They are bogusly selling products that they don't have available. They sold me rims for my car, and said they had them in stock. Over a week later they send me an email saying they never had them in stock, and I would have to wait for them to be available. They even threatened to charge me a 20% restocking fee if I was not willing to wait. I don't see how legally they can charge a restocking fee for a product they never had in stock in the first place.
Hi Patrick!
I believe that we have already resolved this issue with you, but I do want to sincerely apologize again for the trouble you experienced with this order. We never intend to mislead customers about our stock levels, and there definitely is not a restocking fee for cancellations. I sincerely apologize for any poor communication or mistakes made on our part.
Thank you,
Bailey, AutoAnything Representative
