Predatory telemarketing auto warranty company. Deceptive and misleading about what is actually covered. They are always evasive about the company name but I was able to track their IP address when they called me back (I "accidentally" hung up during the sales picth, which meant they called me back). They violate the do not call list by using a third party to collect information. I would not suggest doing business with an unethical company like this.

I purchased this "Gold" coverage warranty for my 2013 *** on [protected]. I have tried to get payment for claims on 3 occasions but was denied for the following reasons: 1. Work wasn't performed by an authorized dealership (window regulator covered under warranty) 2. Parts repaired were not listed in the "Electrical section" of covered items, nor the "not-covered" section (seals, purge valves, ignition coil). 3. Customer service was reprehensible: a. You can't call and speak to someone, you have to leave name and number for callback. b. Customer Service has no education or experience with vehicles (I had to explain what the ignition system was, and what parts were covered. c. The agents do not try to help you with your claim they immediately start arguing why something isn't covered. d. Customer Service Agent ridiculed my age when I tried to explain how much experience I had with dealing with customer service and warranties (over 50-years) e. When asked to speak with a supervisor, I was told one would call me back and the representative hung-up the phone on me. The supervisor NEVER returned my call. I was absolutely disgusted with this service, especially since I paid almost $3,000 up-front for the coverage. I did not finance nor make payments. I had to submit notarized and signed documents to request cancellation of the policy, they would not accept anything over the telephone. Do not purchase this warranty. There are FAR better companies out there.

This Company continues to call me. I am on the do not call registry. They spoof the numbers. I have asked to removed several times. I've played their game, they won't provide a contract in writing unless you pay. NEVER enter a contract without seeing it.

This company makes it difficult to cancel the contract and receive a refund. *** services the payments while the auto service center handles specifics regarding the account. Upon calling the Vehicle Service Center located in Irvine, California you can only get the answering service. I did not receive a call back from a service agent until I threatened to take legal action and submit a poor report to the complaintsboard.com. I sent a letter of cancelation but no action was taken because the letter was not notarized. My contract service agreement made no mention of the fact that the letter needed to be notarized. The service agent on the telephone was snotty when I pointed out this discrepancy. I do not recommend this company. Beware consumer!

AutoServices I bought a vehicle protection plan from Vehicle Protection Specialist LlC in November

I bought a vehicle protection plan from Vehicle Protection Specialist LlC in November . I have paid them approximately $1500 on this plan. I noticed on my last bank statement the monthly charge was not deducted. I reached out to the company and was advised my plan was canceled. The payments were automatically deducted from my checking account so I do not understand if there was a problem why I was not notified. I did not receive any letters or calls advising there was an issue. I spoke with several rude employees who were laughing at my frustration. I advised the gentleman I wanted my policy reactivated and I was told this is not Burger King you cant have it your way. I spoke with manager *** and advised I wanted copies of notifications sent and she did not advise she would send but advised she could start a new policy. I have been ripped off by this company and I do not have this type of money to waste for no services rendered.

My father fell prey to an over-the-phone request to renew his vehicle warranty through this company. He has been billed by a third party (MEPCO). When I called the number on the bill to cancel this policy, they tell me we have to call the company who sold him the policy. My father says he already went through this process once. No one calls us back, and he keeps getting a bill every month. There is seemingly no way to cancel this policy. I just want this policy cancelled. I do not want him to keep racking up a bill every month. He is on a fixed income.

This business uses robocallers bouncing off different local numbers persistently for the past several years. I always ask to be removed, but I went further in searching this time to find who they really are and got enough info to tie to this company. There is no way a company like this should have an A+ Complaintsboard.com rating. I want them to stop calling, but will be filing a formal legal complaint seeking spam call payment from the company for all calls recorded to date.

AutoServices Vehicle Protection Services called my elderly mother (the info is hers except for the email and phone number as she does not have an email

Vehicle Protection Services called my elderly mother (the info is hers except for the email and phone number as she does not have an email address). After doing some research on this company I decided we need to cancel her purchase, which they told her she had 30 days to cancel. I cannot contact anyone at the company to speak with. I get an answering service, they take a message and no one calls back, or they call back with an automated phone # which my phone will not accept and it goes straight to vm and they leave me the same number I called which goes again to their answering service. I am never able to speak to an actual person. I also tried to send email through their website and it won't go through. I get error message. I just want to cancel. Her confirmation number they gave is WPS1348181 though they will not have another customer with her name so it shouldn't be difficult to find. She already paid $198. I would like this refunded too but happy if they just cancel.

Requesting partial refund of unused portion of the Service Agreement from Auto Services. Purchased Auto Service Agreement became effective on August 19, with the vehicle's mileage at the time of purchase undisclosed. The Service Agreement is set to expire at an unspecified mileage or on September 24, 2024. The vehicle was sold on May 28, with the mileage at the time of sale not provided. Three letters have been sent to the business on July 2, August 2, and August 18, in addition to numerous phone calls, to determine the amount eligible for a partial refund. All letters have been received by the business, and the final letter, dated August 18, was notarized and sent via registered mail following the business's instructions to initiate the partial refund process.

the date of the transaction 7/28 , the amount I paid was $2,651.00 for an extended warranty. I have been trying to cancel since march. My contract # is *** . I've sent 2 notarized letters. They said they didn't get the first one on March 31st and April 14th. I had them sign for the 2nd one I called and they said it was being processed but I wouldn't get a check for 8 or 9 weeks. I called on 5/31 3 times. But they never called back . I tried 2 more times with no call backs . Today I called and told the answering service if a supervisor didn't call me I was calling Complaintsboard.com. .When she called I was told they were not sending me a check because I had to send another notarized letter with the odometer reading and after they get that it will be another 9 to11 weeks before I get my refund. She said there was a note in my file dated a week after I talked to them. They won't tell me how much I'll get back or when. I just really need my money. I'm 69 and living on social security

AutoServices I purchased the extended warranty on 4/2, which was used in May ?

I purchased the extended warranty on 4/2, which was used in May ? I sent the original letter of request for cancellation in June, which I was informed had not been received. I sent a second letter (certified Mail) in July. I have been informed the letter was received and the contract is cancelled as of July 31. I was also told I would receive the refund in 4-6 weeks. As of this date, I have called the customer service number (***) at least 100+ times, no return call. I've been told there is not a number to call to speak with anyone directly. My sale person is William R with the same contact number of ***. I've even requested for him to contact me directly. There did not seem to be a problem when I was inquiring to make the purchase. Every number listed relates back to that same number. I did utilize the contract for a repair which totaled approximately $600.00, which I paid at least $400.00+. I would like for this to be resolved. I understand from my experience the reps for the company can only follow the protocol as instructed. From reading the complaints it seems this type of problems have been on-going for some time.

Purchased a warranty contract during 2020. The service provider they setup me up with declined covering my vehicle during a repair. Called to cancel my contract with them and they said i needed to send a letter requesting cancellation. Letter was sent with a signature required. It was received by this company months ago yet still no refund for money paid to them. This company has shady business practices and I would stay far away from them. Spoken to several representatives and still nothing. They confirmed they received my letter and still nothing.

On 01/28, I received a cold call from Auto Services, also known as Vehicle Protection Specialists or Vehicle Service Center. A certain salesman initiated the conversation. After some time, I decided to purchase an extended used car warranty from them. As time passed, I began to doubt the integrity of my relationship with this company. My customer relationship with them concluded on a specific date. I proceeded to cancel my policy through a letter dated 10/14, providing all the requested information as per my contract booklet. Subsequently, a representative from the company reached out to me, insisting that I needed to submit a notarized document with my odometer reading, despite this requirement not being stipulated in my contract. Following a tense exchange, as I was quite upset, I complied and sent the notarized odometer reading on 12/18. The company eventually processed the cancellation of my policy on 01/04. Despite numerous attempts to contact them via calls and emails, I have not received any response. The company employs an answering service to relay messages to their office. I am seeking to determine whether I am eligible for a pro-rata refund. Any assistance in this matter would be highly appreciated.

AutoServices I received a series of phone calls from this company on 11/8

I received a series of phone calls from this company on 11/8. I answered and spoke with a specialist at this company inquiring about extended warranty coverage for my car. I alerted them that I would be unable to do business with them as I was in financial strain. They continued to talk to me even after I assured them that I was uninterested. They continued to hassle me claiming that they needed my contract to fulfill a quota for the month. An administrator joined the call and provided me with a hardship coverage fee since I told him I was unable to pay the initial coverage amount. He informed me that in 30 days I could cancel the coverage free of charge with no issues. I agreed and continued to reiterate that I did not need or want this coverage after 30 days. I called within the 30 day window, left multiple messages confirming cancellation, and continue to be charged for a service that I do not want or need. Every single time I phone this company during their suggested business hours, I leave messages and have not been called back. I have yet to speak to a customer *** rep or specialist and this madness has gone on for one year to date. Again, I canceled within the 30 day window and have multiple witnesses plus documentation of the phone calls that have gone UNANSWERED. I have made multiple attempts to terminate my contract. This is unfair, inhumane, and wrong for this company to force people into deals and not allow them to cancel coverage. This company does not care about the customer and deliberately refuse to contact me to formally resolve this issue. I do not recommend that anyone does business with this company as they demonstrate the poorest customer *** that I have ever encountered. If I knew then what I know now, I would have hung up the phone and blocked this 800 number.

AutoServices Several phone calls a day are coming into my cell phone

Several phone calls a day are coming into my cell phone. I have asked repeatedly for them to STOP calling and to remove the number. They call asking for either an *** or a Miss *** neither of which I am, at that point I ask them to remove the number and am told they will do so, apparently they do not. They are a company based in California and I am in NJ, all the calls come from a NJ area code. I was advised by a "supervisor" who claims she will also take care of it, that in fact the company is from California but the calls are then routed by location to show that same states area code. For example, my number begins with 908, therefore ALL the numbers that call are from 908 area codes. Each time they call, its from a different number, so it's never ending. I then block each number, but nothing helps. I spoke to a very nasty rep yesterday before asking for a supervisor, who advised me that someone called in for a warranty on a 2013 *** that has 50k miles on it. I told him that was impossible because I do not own such a car and my conversations NEVER gets passed telling them they have the wrong number and to remove my number. I did speak with someone there who was nice enough to explain that the original inquiry was made over the internet and my number was given. She then advised me also, she will have the number removed, obviously not. I have made a case with the FTC about this also. They are breaking the law because I have requested they stop calling, remove my number and they do not have a prompt to physically OPT out. Please note, the number I gave on the info page, IS NOT the number they are calling, that is a home number I included, again they are calling a cell, that I do not wish to give out here. If you need it, please contact me personally. I never called them and requested any info from them, I did not solicit them as they indicate and wish to stop being called

AutoServices Vehicle Protection Specialists LLC called my cell phone 6 times for marketing purposes using an illegal autodialer

Vehicle Protection Specialists LLC called my cell phone 6 times for marketing purposes using an illegal autodialer. The communications were unwanted and were made without my express invitation, permission, or consent. Not only has my number been registered with the National Do Not Call Registry since 2006, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act makes it illegal to solicit sales to cellular devices. Since they knowingly called my cell phone in violation of the DNC, repeatedly, each violation carries a penalty up to $1,500. I sent a formal letter to the listed CEO, Paul S, expressing my intent to file suit if the company chose not to settle, along with evidence of each call for proof. This letter was sent via USPS Certified Mail and was signed for at the address listed in their Complaintsboard.com profile at 11:02am on May 1st. In that letter, I informed the company I'd allow them 5 business days to respond. Unfortunately, they've chosen to disregard my letter. I see the company has claimed in previous disputes via the Complaintsboard.com that they do not make any marketing calls. I challenge this contention, and I very much look forward to what the discovery process uncovers apropos those claims should they choose to go the litigation route. I'm aware the company tries to hide behind various DBAs and AIM Mail Center addresses, but I'm certain I have not confused the company with a different marketing company and will not accept that as a valid response. This company is a direct marketing company that underwrites vehicle warranties, dba "Vehicle Service Center," among other fictitious business names. Further, the company sold me a warranty on a vehicle that doesn't exist. The record of the transaction and a policy with a counterfeit VIN were sent to me via email. I may choose to inform any relevant federal agencies of this, as well as ***, as I'm sure they'd also like to be made aware of the fact Vehicle Protection Services LLC is underwriting fraudulent policies.

AutoServices Complaint about auto warranty coverage for my truck

I'm lodging a complaint about the auto warranty for my truck. Initially, Vehicle Protection Specialists assured me of comprehensive coverage, excluding normal wear and tear. However, when I visited the dealership for repairs, they discovered that my warranty didn't cover the issues. After this, I canceled my service with Vehicle Protection Services and requested to halt the automatic payments from my bank account. Despite this, a stop payment was processed on the day the payment was due. I had been misled to believe I had full coverage when I enrolled in May , making regular payments for nearly a year on a 24-month plan. I demanded a refund and complied with their instructions, which included submitting a notarized mileage statement and a cancellation notice. Despite sending these documents thrice over two months, they claimed to have received only the third submission on July 17th. During this period, I had stopped making payments. When I inquired about my refund, they denied it due to the payment lapse. It seemed they deliberately delayed the process, initially ignoring my requests, then later denying my refund on the grounds of non-payment, even though I had fulfilled the required steps for cancellation.

AutoServices I see *** continues to hide behind AIM mailboxes and make false assertions in response to ComplaintsBoard.com complaints re: whether or not they make sales

I see *** continues to hide behind AIM mailboxes and make false assertions in response to Complaintsboard.com complaints re: whether or not they make sales calls. Unfortunately for ***, I'm quite certain *** makes sales calls because I've settled with *** previously for making sales calls (no NDA exists so I state this openly). *** is a marketing company that makes outbound sales calls and underwrites extended warranty auto policies for administrators like Royal and Matrix. And unfortunately for ***, his company has now made at least 5 more sales calls to me, all in violation of both the *** and FTSA, despite the fact my number's not only been registered on the *** Registry since ***, but *** was also supposed to add it to the *** internal DNC list in 2020. I have full evidence and documentation for each of these calls, as well as full documentation of the bank transactions for the *** agent's numerous attempts to fraudulently charge my card without permission under the name "Auto Services *** with a phone number of ***, first on 7/23, then again over a week later on 8/2. Not only that, the *** agent then tried to charge my card from a PayPal account on 8/5. This is blatant fraud. I am willing to discuss a potential release agreement with *** and *** for these calls and I will allow ten business days for a reply. Otherwise I will be filing claims under both the *** and FTSA and pursuing statutory damages for these calls, as well as any others revealed in discovery (which I believe will indeed uncover several more) -- specifically for violating subsections (b)(3) and (c)(5) of the ***, as well as Florida Statutes 501.059(4), 501.059(7)(a), 501.059(8)(a), and 501.059(8)(c). These violations were made willfully and thus each call equates to $9,000 in statutory damages (6 separate violations per call $1,500), for a total of at least $54,000 in liability for ***. Please let me know promptly so I can proceed accordingly. Thank you.
