Avas Flowers Anniversary flowers (pastel purple bouquet)

On 08/15/2021 at Approx: 10am I called Avas Flowers in New Smyrna Beach area in order to purchase some flowers for my wife for our 38th wedding Anniversary. When I spoke to the gentleman on the phone [protected]) I ordered the Pastel Purple Bouquet just like the picture showed for $64.99 I informed this subject of my wife's location, which was also in New Smyrna Beach working at that time, and that I needed it delivered today. I also told him not to contact her, but he still took her number down, and I found out later she knew flowers were coming, so their was no surprise. When she got home with the flowers, I could clearly see that they were not the same as the ones in the picture and the vase was different. I delivery person left the #2 in the flower arrangement, which meant this was his 2nd stop. I feel that paying $104.00 for the flowers and delivery, which was not what I ordered should be sent back to me, as the damage as far as I can see is already done. I have pictures of the arrangement that my wife brought home and you have your picture on the website, which do not even come close to matching each other. I respectfully will wait to hear back from you concerning this matter, David Tesoroni [protected].

Avas Flowers Flowers delivered were a embarrassment to me

Placed a order 1 week before the birthday and specifically said no roses only fresh flowers. I was sent a picture of the flowers and was embarrased to see the very poor job done with the arrangement. A blue vase was ordered and clear vase was delvered. The flowers also looked like they were 1 week old. Also spoke to a out source company that did not speak english well. This is my first time placing a complaint on line

Bait and switch at its finest, I paid for a beautiful arrangement for my daughter's birthday. As we work for the same company I wanted to surprise her and let her know how proud I am of her, as she got a promotion.
The flowers that she received I could have picked I. A field. Not what I ordered, also paid extra to be delivered by 2 pm, didn't happe

Avas Flowers Product and service

On July 7, 2021, I called Avas Flowers to place an order for two floral arrangements and two balloon arrangements. This order had special sentiment because New York City was hosting a parade for essential workers and it was for my cardiologist's office. The order was placed with Roger and I was very specific with my request.

1. I asked Roger (CSR who placed my order) was he in the store where the order was being handled, he told me yes. I believe this was an untruth as he wasn't able to provide answers to questions and stated "let me transfer you to customer service."

2. Asked if it would be possible to receive a picture of the flowers and balloons before they left the shop. Roger said yes, they would send an email of the arrangements, that did not happen.

3. Requested for the flowers and balloons to match colorwise - That didn't happen. And they sent red balloons with stars, I didn't ask for the 4th of July balloons.

4. Paid for two sets of flowers and two sets of ballons. I was told by the doctor's office they received one set of flowers and one set of balloons.

5. I had to call customer service 14 times regarding this issue.

After the 13th call, I got a customer service representative who stayed on the line and tried to assist me. I asked him why only one flower and one balloon arrangement had been delivered and he stated that the vendor thought it may have been a duplicate order. Why wouldn't they call to confirm, they had both my telephone number and email address? When I inquired about a refund I was told I would get a 10% discount for tomorrow's delivery. I informed the CSR that I did not want the second-order delivered tomorrow, 7/8, and requested a refund. I only received a refund for the flowers and not the balloons even though I informed him that the doctor's office stated only one set of each had been delivered. He told me both balloon orders had been delivered however, the vendor florist that they used was closed so he couldn't confirm. This whole experience was an ABSOLUTE DISASTER and I am beyond disappointed at the level of customer service I received. The BBB states that Avas Flowers has had 2, 161 complaints in the last three years and 724 of these were in the last 12 months. I guess they can add me to the list for an even 725.

Desired outcome: The desired can't happen. No amount of money will compensate for the disappointment of not being able to give two essential dedicated and caring healthcare workers what they deserved on their special day.

Avas Flowers Trying to get a refund

Was assured by person taking order plant would be at Funeral Home on time. It didn't make it. I called for a refund was on the phone for 21 minutes to get this done. Rep. asked if they could call the Funeral Home and get an address for the family I said No because I had already taken care of it on my own. Got put on hold then told they got an address for family. So a second time I tell them NO I have taken care of it myself, put on hold again. I will never do business with this company again. What a horrible experience you have lost a loved one then you have to go through this! The order # 8357974 I hope nobody else has to endure what I just had to.

Avas Flowers Red & White Sympathy Floor Basket

This web-site and call Center are very frustrating to deal with. Ie; links don't work, long automated messages and hold times and it is misleading in that they contact out to smaller local flower companies. I contacted customer service to tell them the hours deliveries would be accepted and when they would be closed to ensure no delivery problems. The church was nice enough to arrange for their office to be open longer hours to receive deliveries. NO deliveries were made. Email confirmations showed delivery. Before the FUNERAL, my family was scrambling to find flowers because there were NONE. Again on hold with the AVAS call Center who could not help me or provide any information. A local florist offered to let us BORROW some arrangements for the service. We did receive 2 deliveries as people were being seated. But neither matched the description of what was purchased. This is a big deal. This should have brought feelings of love and support to our family and instead caused stress, panic and an empty alter. None of us will ever use this company again.

Avas Flowers Flower delivery

I ordered a certain bouquet, which i paid extra money for, to be ordered for Mother's day. I picked it out because i thought that that certain bouquet would be delivered. Unfortunately, my order came but it was COMPLETELY different from what i ordered and i have been trying to contact you guys through the phone number you have listed SINCE THE DAY I ORDERED, which obviously does not EXIST.

I tried writing to your non-reply email because there is no other contact info listed other than your phone number (which doesn't exist) and i want a refund for this because it is not something that i even ordered. I paid extra money for this certain bouquet and i paid a high extra fee. Why would i pick out a certain kind of bouquet when all of your products are different prices. I am currently overseas and i wanted to surprise my mom with nice flowers. If this was the case i would've picked out the cheapest one. I tried calling, writing to your non relply email, writing a comment on your customer service options (nothing allows me to submit anything). If there is no response to this, i'll have to contact my credit card company regarding this matter.

I'll attach photos of the flowers i ordered and the ones i received.
Hopefully i can reach you guys through here.

Just wanted to let you know that I did reach them at the number listed on here. Just choose 1. I am certain they are both a scam and terrible business. There was a recent judgement against them with the BBB. I know that it did offer some consumers restitution, but I'm not sure if it was for that specific state or other location. You can Google and find it. Good luck.

Avas Flowers flowers not delivered on time!!! and called 3 days in advance!!

I will NEVER order from these jokers again.. I ordered flowers for our pastors family .. due to the passing of this mother, I ordered 3 DAYS IN ADVANCE they called day flowers were to be delivered and said so sorry we cant deliver till the next day! i am beyond angry ! the dummy i was talking to barely speak English and kept hearing roosters crowing in the background, , , ridiculous. DO NOT USE THESE YOYOS . THE SERVICE IS TOMORROW. SO MAD I CANT STAND IT. we'll see if they get them at the church tomorrow in time, if not im gonna call them again and get a refund of 100 bucks. yup you watch me

Avas Flowers flower service/delivery

Horrible experience overall. They say they are a local florist, but once you dig into it, can tell they are not at all! They sent the wrong flowers to the wrong address and still have not rectified the situation - we were trying to send flowers to our grandmother for Mother's Day and she never got anything. Ordered April29, told they were delivered May 5, but in fact they were not. called May 7, asked them to rectify and on Mother's Day they actually delivered flowers (not what we ordered) to the wrong person (someone else we had also ordered flowers for who already received her order). After multiple emails and phone calls over the course of six days, I'm still literally on HOLD. This time for 36 minutes. Last time 22 minute. Nothing seems to be getting resolved, they always say they will look into it and get back to me. Usually the phone gets disconnected while I"m holding. This time, they've finally offered me a $20 credit - but seriously, our grandma did NOT get the flowers we ordered for her - there should be a refund (not a credit as I will NEVER order from them again) AND a delivery if you want to make this right. The same person handles customer service. The CS person has no authority to make a decision and I get disconnected all the time! Worst experience. Avoid at all costs!

Avas Flowers I had three different orders placed on May 7th.One was delivered on May 11th.the other two were not received,

I have had nothing but problems with Avas and I wll never use them again.I'm looking for a refund for two orders
the first is #8259644, the other is #8251151.I expect a full refund or I will dispute these with my credit card co.

Avas Flowers Flowers ordered for Mother's day

DO NOT BUY! This site is a SCAM! I ordered flowers for my mother-in-law for Mother's Day. The delivery date was promised between May 7-9 - on or before Mother's Day. I received 2 calls on Friday the 7th about the order, first requesting a phone number to contact me (they were calling me at my contact phone number) and then for my email address - which they had already sent an email to with the order confirmation. I made sure to verify that the flowers would arrive on or before Mother's Day, asked to speak with a supervisor to verify, and was told supervisors only work via email and that the flowers would arrive on Mother's Day my mother in law was sobbing on the phone because her flowers did not arrive. Today I received a call from support to ‘verify the delivery address. When I again asked to speak with a supervisor because the flowers were not delivered for Mother's Day I was hung up on. I received a callback moments later only to be hung up on again. I tried to call for support but was hung up on with every option I selected. Finally, I selected the option to place a new order and got to a human…who said they could not help me and transferred me to support. I waited 48 mins to speak with a supervisor and was again hung up on. Finally, after several calls, I spoke with a supervisor called Sebastian @ ext 2343 who told me there was nothing they could do aside from offering a $20 credit on future purchases. SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM!

Desired outcome: I would like my mothers day flowers to have been delivered

Avas Flowers Order not delivered

I ordered flowers for a funeral and they were not delivered. I called the recording and it said the order was cancelled. I called and talked to a representative and was told it was cancelled and they tried to get in touch with me. I never received any notification. They refunded my money but I want them to send the arrangement at their cost and they refuse to do that. It was their error. Why didn't they send the order? I was given no answer.

I had ordered a similar arrangement but for a birthday a week prior to the same recipient from Ava's. I think they saw the duplication and cancelled because of that. I don't know what the reason for the cancellation was but I believe they should send the arrangement at their cost. They refuse. I will never, ever use them again and do not recommend. They are horrible!

Desired outcome: Send the sympathy arrangement I ordered at their cost.

Avas Flowers Service

I ordered flowers from Avas Flowers in Mesa Arizona on Tuesday, April 13 for same day delivery. Today is Thursday, April 15 and the flowers still have not been delivered and the phone numbers listed on my order have not been contacted to arrange delivery. I am going to stop payment through my bank today. This is a terrible way to do business and I never order from them again.

Avas Flowers misleading ads, failure to follow instructions

I called Ava's on the 12th of April thinking I was calling a LOCAL florist. I explained my situation, asked that flowers be delivered as closely to the 20th as possible, and the CSR acknowledged my intent.
She asked that she be permitted to enter the delivery date as the 13th to allow a window up until the 20th. I agreed. She quoted the charges. I felt uncomfortable, but again agreed.
I did research. Within 3 hours, I tried to cancel the order. I was told the flowers were en route, and cancelling was not an option. The flowers are now baking in the sun in Maryland (it is the 15th) and I wanted them fresh on the 20th. I filed 4 complaints before getting a call back. The CSR and I seemed to speak different languages. After explaining my disappointment and reasons for it TWICE, she left me with silence. I received no compensation, no adjustment, nothing more that sorry you aren't happy. I'll go to my grave screaming STAY AWAY FROM AVA'S. Beginning with the advertisements, it's deception at every turn. Oh, the free delivery? fuggedaboudit.

Desired outcome: I hope Ava's is forced out of business

Avas Flowers Delivery/Bait and Switch

Initial order 4/7/2021 to be delivered same day. Rose & Carnations Masterpiece. Cost 135.00. Called back to say it would not be delivered til 4/8/2021 and would include premium flowers. Gave 30% discount, I'm told. NO invoice although requested. Specific directions to deliver to the door since recipient had surgery pertaining to her heart and please do not leave at the gate. The guy that took the order read the special instructions back to me. They were left at the gate. They will sit out in the sun for hours til someone can get them to the door. :( I called and they said it was only a dozen roses. Not additional flowers as I had ordered. I am in California, not Texas therefore I can not provide a picture of failed delivery.

Avas Flowers flowers for a funeral that were not delivered

Good afternoon,
On April 3ed I called Avas flowers to order flowers for my son funeral they assured me they could get to us by April 3 or April 4 we did not receive them on either day on the day of my sons funeral I tried calling to see what happened they assured me again that the flowers ( a funeral spray) would arrive in time before 9 am on April 5th they did not. I then had to rush to another florist to get some kind of flowers this is so disrespectful and heart reaching., to think my son almost didn.t have any flowers. I was able to cancel the order only after waiting for 15 minutes on the phone the order number was 8101660. I feel that Ava, s flowers owes me a apology for this horrible experience and some kind of flowers for my sons grave site. Sincerely

They are a total scam. Took $130 from me for luxury tulips and sent a tiny vase with some red roses. Told me it was impossible to re-send them. Refused to help me figure out a solution. Have now spent 10 hours trying to resolve. After 3 days and countless phone calls it still isn't resolved.
Have spoken to accounting, 2 supervisors and countless employees.
I was sending an arrangement to a friend after a huge favor she did for me. Here is the course of events:3/31 - I placed an order for a LUXURY arrangement of tulips online. I never received a confirmation email so I called back - spent 40 minutes on hold to then be told that there was a problem with my order. They said that the tulips had to be sent in and they wouldn't be able to deliver until 4/1. I said that was fine. I then received a tracking number4/1 - I looked up the tracking information and saw that my order was delivered in the afternoon. Later that day I got a message from my friend who says that her husband was upset when the ROSES showed up? What roses I asked? She sends me a picture (I attached it) and on the card it says 10 tulips - you can see it if you zoom in. I told her that of course I would never send her red roses! She was still grateful, but not even close to what I wanted for Easter. That event aside the arrangement they sent was obviously NOT LUXURY and just a simple wrong bouquet. There is nothing LUXURY about these arrangements. I would have spent $30 on something like that. Then I called customer service and waited on hold for close to an hour and I had to hang up because I had a work call come in. So I called back later and they were closed. Then I tried submitting an issue request via the website which bounced back saying that I could not reorder because my order was placed 7 days ago - WHICH IT WAS NOT! I tried that process a few times with no luck. 4/2 - I call in the morning 8:30 and wait on hold for like 40 minutes to get a customer service person and she tells me it was obviously the wrong order and that she would refund 1/2 my money (impossible because I used a stimulus card) and she would get the right order sent out and someone would call me back to confirm when. NO ONE calls back. I called back again around noon and waited on hold for like 30 minutes and had to hang up because of work. Then I called back again at 2pm and waited on hold for about 10 minutes and reached a customer service representative who after 20 minutes told me he can't help because the order was shipped in from someone else so they can't re-deliver. I insisted on speaking to a supervisor and then I spoke to him for over 30 minutes and he proceeded to tell me they can't re-deliver either. He tells me it is IMPOSSIBLE. Then he tells me maybe he can get me store credit - I tell him that if he can get store credit he can use that money TO SEND MY FLOWERS. He says this isn't possible. I am confused as to why that doesn't make sense. DON'T SEND ME THE MONEY - SEND THE FLOWERS? What kind of a business operates like this. Then he says that I should wait on hold to speak to the accountant because they cannot refund the card on file (I told him this and it is recorded) because it is a stimulus card and cannot be recharged. I wait for 50 minutes and the call is dropped. I then call again from my phone and every time I enter the order number the card is dropped. So I use my son's phone and hmmm it works? So I speak to another person who can't help and yet another supervisor is much nicer and still not able to help, but she did put me in touch with the accounting office who said they refunded the order on the card I told them couldn't accept money because it was a stimulus card. They told me there was nothing they could do. They told me to call my bank. I explained again it's not a bank it's the IRS. I told them well, they could call their bank and dispute it and then apply it back to a different card. They say there are looking into it and maybe a few days from now they can call me back with a resolution. ALL THAT HAD TO HAPPEN WAS TO RESEND MY ORDER THE WAY I ORDERED IT.
I notice that there isn't a place for reviews on their website or FB probably because this is the worst company ever. I attached a pictures of the roses with the card that says (TULIPS) and for the record - this is NOT A LUXURY ITEM.

Order: 8082784. Extremely dissatisfied with customer service experience. Flowers were supposed to be delivered by 10:00am today 04/01/21. Made repeat calls. Given false information by several representatives who advised that delivery truck was approaching business destination. However that was untrue. Placed on hold by one representative who never came back to phone. Transferred to someone who stated they were a supervisor. He was rude, dismissive and nasty. Did not over any viable options. Placed me on hold for extended time. Was very unapologetic. Told me flowers enroute however that was also false. Individual at business destination left for day in that it was her last day as our colleague. Spoke to another representative who offered options and tried to assist. In total I spent over 6 hours trying to resolve this. I will never and I repeat never purchase from this unprofessional floral company again. I will ensure that I share my extremely negative experience with others. This was a nightmare purchase.

Avas Flowers Flower bouquet delivery scam!

Didn't get the product my mom ordered me from Israel for my birthday. Had to spend 4 hours on the phone with their horrible customer service givers.
Made us a nightmare to get a refund for a product we didn't get. All they say is we are sorry. Scheduled delivery twice and still didn't get it. They wasted our time, ruined my birthday surprise and acted like scammers!
They lied about having problems and invented reason why we didn't got it.

Avas Flowers Delivery failure and customer support

Order#8072436 Paid for it to be same day delivery on Saturday 3-27, I got an email that it was moved to Sunday. It's Monday after 3:00 EST and I'm on hold with the poorest customer service I've ever experienced. Do not waste your $ with them. I was told with the first call to find the order that I should go get a snack or drink while they looked it up! I think this place is just a site that puts orders into the area florists where you need flowers. Basically and internet answering service. This was to my friend of 50 yrs who lost her mother and I am appalled and so sadly disappointed. I would like a full refund but don't expect it. This is my 2nd phone call and have been on hold 22 mins. That's what they think of your patronage. You can't do reviews on their page they are that bad.
