I was charged £69.99 for 'lifetime subscription' to premium features despite the fact that I was attempting to delete my account as I am now in a relationship and therefore have no use for the app I remember being in settings, searching. when I didn't
Where I could delete my account I briefly left the app to reply to a message. I then received an email telling me I had just payed £60 to Badoo!
I have seen many complaints online of this exact same thinghappening to other people citing "unauthorised payments" going as far back as a year ago so why this is an issue not fixed I do not understand
This was a payment I did not authorise whether it be by me accidentally clicking the the upgrade button ( though highly unlikely) or something else there should be a safety measure in place to prevent this from happening, even as small as a confirmation email especially when you're stealing over £60 directly from my account, within minutes I Emailed customer services who have since ignored my emails. What's worse is I have just received ANOTHER email saying I'm now paying a further £120 pounds on top of my £60 pounds? FOR WHAT! what did I just pay £180 (TO AN APP I WAS IN THE PROCESS OF DELETING) for!
The company have refused my refund request through PayPal even though there is normally a 14 day free trial of this service anyway, that I did not receive.
I would like to avoid taking this further and resolve the situation promptly.
They won't refund it their policy is no refunds, you can ask them and maybe they'll be nice, but they'll likely just say "that's not my problem"

Before anyone purchases premium you should know is their terms and conditions state you have the right to refund within 14 however if you purchase premium you lose the right to refund you purchase which is incredibly smart small print I'll give you that, but not good for the consumer. That being said I was refunded and the situation was resolved I'll update my complaint

The company was reluctant to refund me. Their refund policy is essentially non existent: you reserve the right to refund as long as you don't purchase anything? Some of the staff do not give a damn about the customer, you just have to roll the dice and hope that you don't get a generic or automated response and an actual person who is reasonable.

badoo refuses to refund my unintentional $69.99 subscription
Last night I came across a notification while using Badoo for the free trial. I decided "why not" and signed up to see what the service has to offer. Not even a full minute later, the app tried asking me if I would like to purchase a full 6 month subscription. While trying to click out of it, I accidentally paid $69.99 for the full subscription. I attempted to complain to Badoo's customer service and received a response stating due to their terms and conditions, I was not eligible for a refund. I replied back stating that my account clearly shows that I had signed up for the free trial moments beforehand. Why on earth would anyone pay $70 for a subscription when they had signed up for a free trial seconds beforehand? After doing some research, I've seen other people issued courtesy refunds for similar experiences. The fact that Badoo is refusing my refund for a justified accident makes me not even want to use this app again in fear that the same thing is going to happen again.

I joined badoo on monday the 24th of september 2018. A free dating site where you buy credits.
I purchased £7.99 worth of credits on tuesday the 25th with my bank card.
Today friday the 28th, £69.99 has been withdrawn from my account without authorisation. Supposedly for 6 months subscription at premium rate.
I have emailed the company, but have herd nothing back.

I din't provided any IBAN details to the Badoo app and today when I logged in to my bank account I can see they have deducted different denomination amount from my Internet Bank account how can Badoo directly deduct the money from my IBAN account when I have not provided any details to the app this is complete leakage of data that badoo is doing this is really a Data Breach I will take it to more higher authorities as how Badoo can deduct the amount from my Internet banking account when I am not providing any details to them.

My name is Nitin Kharate I had added the my debit card details for baddo premium and after 14 days ₹ 2160 amount is debited from my account without my permissions. I do not want to this membership. In July 2017, I downloaded the Badoo app. I used a few weeks and then deleted the app because I didn't like, everything was blocked and I was not going to pay for a dating app. While I used it, I never subscribed to anything and didn't even make an in-app purchase whatsoever.
My Apple account is linked to an old email address so I don't receive the emails associated to this address.
Today, while searching for something else related to Apple in my emails, I found out that Badoo charged me 3, 99 for ''super powers'' - which I NEVER signed for nor approved nor ever deliberately paid once - 55 TIMES in the last year. It's a total of 219$ (without taxes).
I'm sure there is a way for Badoo to see that I was inactive this whole time on the app and I want a full refund of this money - that I, once again, NEVER approved to pay.
Looking forward to hear from Badoo soon.

I am a Volunteer Medical Doctor treating people world wide including all major war zones for no personal financial compensation. My original home is New York City, but I reside in the city of Panama, Republic of Panama for security reasons related to my medical work in war zones. I joined Badoo with hopes of meeting a very nice young lady with long hair. (My fetish is long hair on a women since a child). I am an expert in computer security. I sent an email to Badoo Support, advising them that they were allowing women who were in jail for muder, drug dealers, and all other major crimes to communicate with locals in the city of Panama, from the women's jail. I told them that they need to block these accounts, being that it is not in ones best interest to be communcating with a criminal locked up in jail.
I received an email back from their support, advising me that my account was blocked for life and I should read their guidelines. Badoo owner is Russian and resides in London, England. He even refused to reply back or block criminals. Seems that Panama allows hard core criminals to maintain a Smart Intelligent Cell Telephone in their jail cell. They ask you for money to buy a Mas Movil Card, or other card to use their cell telephone.

I was offered a free trial until september 2nd 2018 and was charged for two 49.99 payments on my visa debit card. this is a scam and is theft and i demand a refund of my money. i have cancelled my subscription but i am out twice the amount of your regular premium service instead of a free trial. They're scamming people by contacting them (me) with phony profiles... then.. when you've used up "contact credits", they ramp up the luring contact activity.. such as.."Annie has favorited you.. contact her now to see blah blah" + and that's the simplicity of the their scam.. Fortunately, I only paid for a week.. 7 or 8 bucks.. I'd be out for blood if t were more..

unauthorized recurring payments
Today I was shocked to discover that a one time payment I recently made to Badoo dating site was without my knowledge converted to a WEEKLY! recurring payment. So for a single payment I actually made 4 additional unauthorized payments were added, before I discovered and canceled it. Of course I did not authorize any recurring payments to Badoo.
These payments went through PayPal. I've already reported this issue to PayPal and demanded my money back.

Both paypal and badoo replied its my fault and they can do nothing to help me...
1. I did not subscribe to Badoo Premium. I bought a certain amount of credits for a certain amount of money.
2. I did not enter any kind of "billing agreements".
3. I never authorised any kind of "recurring charges".
4. I can not cancel a "billing agreement" I've never signed or agreed to in the first place.
5. Thanks for apologies, but it is not an "inconvenience", it is a fraud.

amount deduction
I had used my PayPal account to pay some amount to be too.i.e. approximate 2 dollars. And while doing the transaction I did not check the box which is meant for saving my PayPal account for future transactions. After completing this single transaction inadvertently I touched the payment option again on the touch screen and automatically money got deducted from my account which is not supposed to be the way as I did not save my account details for future transactions and badoo must have prompted to login to PayPal again. By this 2nd payment without my consent I got furious and I was trying to go back to home page and again inadvertently touched the screen where there was payment option, again not prompting me to login to PayPal.
Immediately I complained to PayPal but same time what ever credit points I got by 2 unwanted transactions also vanished. Now I lost money and list credit points too.
Already 8 days now and I don't think Badoo will require to conclude this open shut case byb refunding my money.

i accidentally purchase badoo premium subscription, and tried to cancel it or unsubscribe but found no option...please help
