Dear sir, asslaam alekum.
We have a company account — title: zeesocial (pvt) ltd. (no:0146-[protected]) at bank alfalah i-8 branch, islamabad, since 2013. We are a registered taxpayer from 13june 2013 and are also a filer on active tax payer list.
It is brought to your kind attention that despite being a 'filer' & on active tax payer list, the bank has been deducting all charges as if the company is a non-filer. On pointing this gross discrepency (on part of the esteemed bank), the worthy manager blamed the company & the fbr for this lapse. He demanded a screen shot of the active tax payer list of fbr. This was promptly provide to him (after a few up & down trips to the company in this inclement weather).
It is understood that the fbr update its record of filer/non-filer every month with all the banks. Most surprising to know that bank alfalah is ignorant about it & absolves itself of any such responsibility. Least expected was that the tax reg no. Of zeesocial (4167843-5) could have been matched on fbr site for confirmation of our claim as a filer. Guess it is below the dignity of (bank alfalah) managers to help their clients.
It is requested that the case may be studied in detail & the unauthorized deductions made by the bank may kindly be reimbursed.
The non-cooperative attitude of the manager (bordering on arrogance/rudeness) left much to be desired. After all senior citizen can't expect much in the prevailing conditions.

FORMAL COMPLAINT/GRIEVANCES AGAINST BANK ALFALAH: 40-A, Satellite Town, Gujranwala
1. I write to highlight an act which is considered to be failure on part of staff of Bank Alfalah Limited: 40-A, Satellite Town Branch, Gujranwala, in relation to delayed processing of cheque.
(a) On 29th November, 2018 we deposited a cheque of Meezan Bank amounting to Rs.1, 151, 700/- (Eleven Lac, Fifty One Thousand, Seven Hundred Only). The cheque was to be credited to M/S Multi Pharma having A/C#0008-[protected]. Unfortunately, the bank did not credited the amount to A/C#0008-[protected] till 04th December, 2018 until we found out that it was still in Bank Alfalah, Satellite Town Branch.
(b) On 04th December, 2018 the M/S Multi Pharma informed us that your firm's cheque has not been credited to our account so far and they have received the information that same has been dishonored. On this we visited the Bank Alfalah Satellite Town Branch, Gujranwala and highlighted the issue. On this one Mr. Usman very rudely replied us that "you must not be having balance in your account". It is pertinent to highlight that we were constrained to deposit cash in the mentioned account by paying Withholding Income Tax amounting to Rs.3, 455(Approx.) just to save the reputation and clear doubts on our integrity. Thereafter, we visited the branch manager Mr. Raza Muhammad Anwar who not only extended the required courtesy but also offered delicious cup of coffee. The bank manager called concerned offices and apprised us that the cheque could not be processed due to some alterations, to which we requested him to please provide us the Memorandum Slip (stating the objection for non-clearance of cheque) but he showed his inability and suggested us to file a formal complaint.
(c) Sir, in our opinion the staff of Bank Alfalah Limited, Satellite Town Branch, Gujranwala failed to act in accordance with banking by-laws and guide lines provided by State Bank of Pakistan due to which not only our reputation was questioned but also we suffered the financial loss.
2. Forgone in view, it is requested that my grievances/complaint may please be redressed/investigated in fair, transparent and efficient manner. Copies of cheque and deposit slip are attached for your ready reference and perusal.

I have been suffering with your bank since 2 years with a simple issue to register alfa application for internet banking. But your esteem support failed in all respects to rectify this more than simple issue in such technological era.
I launched complaint multiple time but it was closed without any resolution.
One of my old number [protected]) which I am not using anymore is still shown in your system. But I changed it long back & submitted signed form to change my number to new one [protected]). Your system never allowed me to register with this new number but always pointed me out to old number. For your information, all of my transactions updates come on my new number [protected]) - same number is updated in my branch records.
Please I beg you o help me to fix my issue & instruct relevant department to cooperate with me. I make them hours call from my international mobile as I am based in Qatar but they are totally irresponsible & there is no sense of any responsibility.

I had applied a gold credit card in June 18. And made a special request while applying that I need a MasterCard not a Visa Card.
After 3 and half months of continuous followups I received my Card today. The card is a Visa Card and with wrong spellings of my name.

I am writing this complaint on illegal on line foreign transactions that have been made through my credit card number, i activated my credit card about a year ago but have not used it at all during the whole year
But i received bill from bank Alfah two days ago, that shows illegal on line transaction though my card, please investigate how these transactions have been made through my card illegally as card was in my custody. now i have blocked the card and have submitted a written application to the dispute resolution unit of Bank Alfalah.

Here i want to address some issues that i have faced from this branch first when open my account in this branch no call received from bank for cheque book collection after 10 days but after that problem is that i have applied debit cards before 10 days but when today i called him for check the status he said your card was not applied but i have done all the process that was required for apply. where is your good services?

Dear Sir,
I am using credit cards from Al Falah Bank.
At first, I used the credit card for petrol filling and spent 500 rs. I had to go out of city and missed the payment date.
I got the plenty of 1700 Rs just because I missed one payment on the credit card and had to pay 2200 Rs on spending 500 Rs.
When I called, the customer services person says that I have around 1400 Rs. Extra charges on just one missed payment. I really don't
understand that on spending 500 Rs, I am paying 2200 Rs after missing one payment? Is it a credit card or a slaughtering machine.
Secondly, Now without my permission, the bank has sent me an e mail of some online credit card statement that I did not receive even in my mail box. First it was 100 Rs. mentioned the so called Card Statement and now that has been increased to 200 Rs (As I received by message by bank Al Falah at my cell number).
I have never heard that in all over the world, the banks charge for the Online Bank statements on credit cards and then even raise the
amount to double of the online statement they sent in some e mail that is even wrong and customer did not even receive the statement by mail.
I don't have the credit cards with me right now (Two cards of 50, 000 Rs. Limit (I can provide the credit card numbers as well) and my email is aneel.[protected]@step.edu.pk
Also, when I called the helpline, the answer is that I don't have access to such calls from my cell number.
So please clarify what is going on with me in terms of Al Falah Credit Cards as this all I explained above is not understandable at all.

Being disappointed by many issues, open my account with good hope in
Bank alfalah pwd branch (code is 335), but unfortunately had significant issues faced right after opening, firstly during opening my account asked to update my uae number in your data base for receiving sms & updates, answer was yes it will be added with full confirmation, secondly register for alfa app, bank officials told me to call & ask for password
I had to flee from pak to dubai, now in dubai, called [protected] to ask for password which was sent on wrong email, dont know where it was sent, sick of calling again & again, on 01 July around 18:00 called to check when password can be resent as didn't get before, CSR on phone said unsubscribe your service & register again so you will receive call back regarding password but i ll be charged 350 PKR, i want to know is it my fault, that app registration was done by bank representative, lady was there who did it, its not my fault
About updating dubai number for sms alerts, later it was found that it cannot be added, someone on this number [protected] said it is not possible
I asked him why it cannot be added when bank officials confirmed 200 % that will added, however if cannot be added bank should have told me instead of miscommitting
For God do something for god sake, i requested 1 July to unsubscribe as per CSR advice, now all i want to unsubscribe it & i will not be paying for what i have done nothing, paid for internet banking before, i will be looking for your immediate response otherwise i will follow other way if cannot be done

Dear concern,
We have school and staff accounts in Kak Pull sihala Branch (Islamabad). I need to inform you that previously the staff was very good and cooperative but now the staff behavior was very rude. They didn't pick even calls, sometimes drop the call or sometime said call after working hour. Patents are also complaining from last month about the staff behavior and their working policies. Parents have to spend 2 or 3 hours to submit a fee. Mostly they refuse that system is down or we have to clear the other work.
Last month we spend 3 hrs to transfer staff salary in morning. Staff visited to bank for salary and got reply by maam that salary not available in accounts. After the staff call I visited again bank at 4'o clock but it wasn't posted. When I asked her she said it takes five minutes only. There was no crowed in bank at that time. I have to wait again 30 minutes as she was searching something in her bag and when I remind her that post the salary as I have to inform my staff because they are very hyper then she worked on it. Is this the costumer dealing? I feel there that I was sitting in a government office as they have the same attitude. Your representative should be train.
I was calling from last 3 days but no one was picking the call or sometimes it was picked and put down aside. Today I called and got reply by a maam that call after working hour. How could I call after working hour? She was so rude and has no manners that how to talk a person. When I said that if you will not cooperate then we will switch the account. She replied as you wish. Is this the way to deal a customer? If someone is busy then they have to talk politely and ring back to customer for satisfaction. If public dealing is not good then it's a big question mark for organization. Your previous staff was very efficient and cooperative but I feel so sorry about the current situation. Your branch reputation is getting down day by day.
Kindly train the Maam or replace her as due to her your branch will get down.
Required your prompt action on this. Your cooperation will be highly appreciated in this regard.

Respected madam/sir. I got a credit card # [protected] through yours representative who met me on on my job spot. I never ever used that card single time. Once that card was stolen and I blocked immediately basis. The representative who blocked my card asked me to issue new one but he never told me about duplicate charges at that time. Even at I was not informed at the time of delivery of duplicate card charges. After 4 to 5 months later I received a call from Bank alflah and they asked me to submit charges of duplicate card I was shocked to hear that. I asked them why I have to pay? Bcoz that card was offered to me free ov cost. I never get a benefit from this card ever. You can check all of my data about card and. After few days I of of that call they asked me to pay charges again. But I asked again and again about that charges whom I I was not informed. They asked me to pay some charges in installment. So I paid some charges in installment by month's. Even they threatened to me about that. They said if u wouldn't pay we will send you a our team to your home. I often threatened. Sir I belong to a poor family and I have 3 kids. I am a single salary holder of 26000/- per month. I have already paid to ur bank. I humbly request u to pay back my money which I have deposited and take necessary action against culprit.

I work as an associate professor in Quaid-e-Awam university of engineering, science and technology, Nawabshah. In January, I and my colleague applied for credit cards in Bank Alfalah. We provided all the required documents and went through the standard verification procedure. Every time, we were told that our credit cards are being dispatched and we would receive them in a few days. It was just a few days ago that we called the concerned personnel who, upon our inquiry, told us that our credit cards have been CANCELLED for want of our service cards. This was quite surprising and frustrating as well since we were never asked for the service cards at the time of application.
Puzzled, we contacted to other concerned officials who told us that the status CANCELLED does not refer to a rejection. We provided the scanned copies of our service cards and were asked to wait as our credit cards would be sent as soon as possible. Nevertheless, we still haven't heard anything about the cards. Now, this is getting on our nerves. We did not expect such a non-serious and unprofessional behavior from a bank like yours.
If we are not to receive the cards, kindly inform us so that we could contact to some other bank for the same.
