Bartleby.com bartleby.com stole my essay

Today I was updating my google alerts when I got one about an essay I had written in 9th grade on this site called Bartleby. I had never even heard of it before and yet I find my essay on women in Athens vs. Sparta. Literally had my name, high school, teacher's name, and course all in the header. So naturally I want to investigate and click "show more" and it wants me to sign up and enter a credit card number! To view my OWN work! And it wasn't even that good of an essay (like I said, I wrote it as a freshman in high school) so I wouldn't trust any of the content on that site. This company (owned by Barnes & Noble) is charging people money to view MY work without my knowledge or consent. Absolutely outrageous. Stay away from Bartleby.

Also, I would provide a picture, but like I said, the header of my essay included some of my personal info.

Bartleby.com bartleby software - unethical

This company is horrible. I tried the product for less than 15 minutes, it didn't work and I wanted my money back. They fought me tooth and nail before they finally credited me back my money. I assume that they feel 9.99 isn't worth the fight - and normally it isn't, however if they weren't so rude, I probably would have let it go and just moved on. They are playing the odds that people will not fight back for 9.99 for a product that doesn't work. I should have read the reviews first - my fault on not checking them out first.

Bartleby.com charging my card without authorization

My name is Samantha and I just noticed that my credit card has been charged 9.99$ for the past few months and I would like the money refunded back. I have not ever used bartleby.com before and I don't know how the charges occurred.
There was a charge on August 15, July 15, June 15, May 15, April 15, March 15
I don't know what Bartleby is and I would like this resolved immediately.

Bartleby.com bartleby student success

I have multiple (6 in all totaling $59.94) unathorized $9.99 transactions on my account from this company. I've never used this service and I need my money refunded as soon as possible. Each charge was on the 13th of each month beginning in February. The last 4 digits of the card being charged is 1592. THe picture depicts the explation of the charges that I recieved.

Bartleby.com student success

Stop charging my account ending 8970 Visa card for services which I have not used.
my Account was charge again in 05/04/19;06/04/19 & 07/04/19;

Refund my account for each month charged for 9.99 x 3 = 29.97 the credit card company will reserves these charges .
Stop charging my account for services I have not used. Note I am not in school at UHD.

Bartleby.com online book

This web site is taking money from my bank account for the last few months and I did not agree to this. I would like a refund. I have not used your services nor do I plan too! Please return my funds. Bartleby.com refund

This website is completely trash! I cancelled my subscription weeks ago and yet I was charged 2 times for something I cancelled. I reached out to them via email and received no reply but yet they are still taking money out of my account! This is ridiculous! I am paying for something I don't use. I need my money back for both payments and they do not answer their email, nor do they have a phone number! This is crazy and needs to be fixed ASAP!

Bartleby.com unsubscribe

I am trying to cancel a subscription that has been appearing on my credit union report. I finally found out that it was added when my son purchased textbooks. You do not have a phone number and I have just spent 20 minutes on all of your websites trying to find a place to unsubscribe.

If I do not receive an email from you within 24 hours, I will call my Credit Union and report this charge as fraud.

Bartleby.com writing & their "payment plan"

I was supposed to have a low cost plan until the very end of the month but once I signed up and everything, I was charged almost $60 for looking at an essay. I'm pretty mad to say the least seeing as i'm a broke high school student; but yk, its chill apparently, definitely doesn't make me want to cry because now i'm even more broke and the bartleby writing site doesn't have a lot of functionality for your account settings etc., so I cancelled my account immediately, hoping i'd be able to find something on their main site to help with what just happened but I suppose not and now I get to finish writing my paper and try to find other resources that aren't plagiarized and $60.

I opened a account with you guys for the 2 dollars for 2 days and you guys are charging me 59.85 dollars for what. If I knew I had to pay 59.85 dollars for opening an with account with you guys I wouldn't have done it. But you guys are recking people off with all that charges. Bartleby.com online service

I was signed up for this service whenever I purchased an online book through texas tech b&n store. I guess I didn't uncheck a preselected a box during checkout. After failing for the 3rd time to get them to stop drafting my account, I have shut down my debit card. I am not sure why b & n would associate with this company. Also, they do not offer a customer service phone number.

So chegg it is! Barnes and noble just lost my business as well.

Bartleby.com I have no clue why this is showing on my bill

This is the second or third time that Bartleby has shown up on my bill and when I bought my textbook I told the cashier that I did not want this service I don't know if he heard me or not but I need this resolved soon. What I need is for you to cancel this service since I never used or asked for it, and if possible I'd like to be reimbursed the $9.99 a month that your company has been charging me.

Im only interested in the first month service as it turns out I dont want the services subscription I dont want whats offered on the site, I was charged 18$ on 4/21 extending services I dont want. I want my refund, bartlebys customer service un enrolled me for the month they charged for and never refunded me. Their disadvantaging consumers with bad customer service

Bartleby.com registration fee

I have an unauthorized transaction from this website. I never subscribed to this website, but I was charged a subscription fee of $9.99 the morning of March 27 and didn't even receive an email for confirmation of the payment. Please refund the money and cancel my subscription, I am not even in school so I would never use this website. Thank you so much.

Bartleby.com fraud didn’t use it for the essay i’m 30 years old

I just checked my email and boom it said someone charged me ! Used my email address and everything please refund the money back I'm 30 and I wouldn't even need it and i just checked my email and saw all this someone even purchased $500 for markup that I didn't even need ? Please I really would use the money for something more important then essay app I'll nevrt need

Bartleby.com my card was charged $59.85

My card was recently stolen and someone used my information to purchase something on your website (bartleby.com) for $59.85 which I did not approve! It's a cash app card not a regular banking card so I can't just call my bank to get my money back. I was told to contact you guys for my refund! On January 13, 2019, I have encountered an unauthorized charge from your site since September of 2018. I do not have an account with your company. I would appreciate having all of the money your company took, to be refunded back to me. Also, would be appreciated to have this unauthorized charge not occur again. Bartleby.com wrongly charged £59.85

This evening I set up an account with you thinking it was free and picked a plan for £59.85 for 3 months membership. I thought the first trial was free so once I realised it wasn't I cancelled straight away. Hopefully you will be able to see this. I haven't used any of your resources and was only a member for an extremely short period of time but from an email you sent me it informed me that I was still going to be charged £59.85. Please could you advise me that this will not be the case. I am sorry for any inconvenience I have caused.

Bartleby.com automatic deduction of my money

I just took the subscription for 3 months and you deducted 59.85 dollars for next three months.You didnt inform me about my permission if i want to renew it for next 3 months.I want my money back.I dont have the notes for the next semester so i don't want to use it.I forgot to cancel the agreement for next 3 months.Please refund my money and cancel my subscription.I will be thankful.

Bartleby.com charged too much.

I was charged $59.85 on October 2, 2018 which was fine because I did sign up for three a three month subscription. However I was charged again on January 1, 2019 for another $59.85. I cancelled my membership already and I feel I should get refunded my last payment because I did not agree to those charges. Has anyone else been refunded for a similar situation?
