No goods recieved
On 5/12/08 I ordered a Bosch 24v battery(order no13904) for my cordless drill for which I paid £63.17 with my credit card from batterytrader.co.uk and one year later I have received no goods. Despite several emails and lots of replys telling me that my goods are out of stock, one year later I have nothing for my money. From the research I have done it seems that this web outfit have been ripping off a large number of people.
I am disgusted that this bunch of crooks can get away with this. It is nothing but pure theft on a large scale and no-one seems to be able to do anything about it. Is it any wonder that people are having second thoughts about internet shopping.People like this give honest companys a bad name.
Expensive scam
On 15th March a transaction was complete through my PayPal account for £53.66 following my ordering of a laptop battery from Battery Trader. I have yet to receive the battery I ordered or any other indication that there might be a problem with my order. I have sent several messages requesting details but have received no reply.
Looking at similar stories here this appear not to be an isolated incident. Is this site simply a scam? Has anyone received their goods from this trader?
I have logged a dispute with PayPal and would urge others who paid this way to do the same - in principle PayPal can block them, as I understand.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
j'ai commandé une batterie en juin 2013, jamais reçue (out of stock) et le marchand ne me rembourse pas :délai 10 jours, puis 30 jours, puis silence après plusieurs mails de réclamation. De véritables escrocs et voleurs. A FUIR et NE PAS RECOMMANDER

when ordering my replacement battery on the 19th August they were only to quick to take payment of £47:99, yet when I went to check my order 7 days later I found out that it was out of stock. And now it looks like they are "blanking me"
Will not be using or recommending this outfit to any one.
The Battery Trader Crooks ( Silverburn Limited ) are still getting away with it. No sign of Bosch battery for cordless drill ordered 26/4/13 and no sign of promised refund when order was eventually cancelled. From the large number of similar complaints it seems to be nothing short of ongoing FRAUD. From now on i will always be checking for complaints about a company before i press that BUY button.
This same post is repeated time again either by the owner of the post or by this website, either way its years out of date and before we bought the domain, just goes to show how unreliable this complaints board is.
