Beautyrest Beautyrest Mattress Disappointment

I bought a Beautyrest Mattress 2 and a half years ago, first one I owned. The reason I bought it was I stayed at a rental and fell in love with the mattress. So when I needed a new mattress I decided to go with one I liked. BIG BIG mistake, I had the mattress not even 8 months and the side and top started to breakdown. I called Amerian Furniture in Glendale AZ and filed complaint that mattress was defective. They were good about getting someone out to review and mattress was determined to be defective. So I got a new mattress. Now this is a defect produce yet I had to pay fees for the new mattress. Not even a year later same thing has happened to the new mattress, it is not yet a year old and the same side and top of mattress is breaking down. SO let me say I'm very very disappointed in the Beautyrest product, I will NOT be getting another one, I will have them replace with different brand that is comparable to what I have. I'm also disappointed in that I have to pay fee to replace mattress, Retailer informed me that I will also have to pay fee for new replacement. At this time I feel that since the product is defective there should not be any fees associated with replacement of mattress. Retailer has filed warranty complaint, they are to schedule someone to review current mattress.

Recommendation: Buy at your own risk. I will not purchase beautyrest products in the future, and I will advise family and friends to do the same. SCW

Beautyrest Mattress has a hump in the middle

We bought the mattress about 6 months ago. We also bought the mattress cover to prevent the mattress from getting a hump. What can we do? The mattress was purchased at Knoxville Wholesale Furniture And one of the selling points was that the mattress would stay uniform. This is the a bad problem. Beautyrest Harmony mattress complaint

Bought a beauty rest d model 001016; brand simm cocoa beach plush k mattress for the price of $1,699.99 on march 8, 2022. Since using the mattress for almost a year, the mattress has formed a "hill/mound" in the middle of the mattress which has become very uncomfortable trying to sleep on. Contacted mattress warehouse personally seeing salesman who gave copy of invoice with phone number to contact beautyrest [protected] which I did and then was instructed to take pictures of defect, receipt and the cut tags which were cut not by myself or my wife especially since the other tag was still intact on mattress. I believe this mattress was a return and the tags were cut not to be resold but was resold and delivered to us. I have attached pictures of the receipt, the cut tags and the mound in the middle of the mattress as instructed. We are married 57 years and in that time have bought a queen stearns & foster, queen temperpedic (which we still have) and a queen casper which we still have without any problems and they are over ten years old. Bought the king beautyrest after buying new king bed last year, march 2022

Desired outcome: We would like a replacement of same type King BeautyRest Harmony mattress bought under a year ago from MATTRESS WAREHOUSE on March 8, 2022

Beautyrest Beautyrest’s

About a year old but from about 6 months this very pricey ($3999?), apparently low quality mattress purchased from Mattress Firm in Paradise Valley, AZ has noticeable sags in it: Beautyrest Beyond. Many many nights of horrible sleep and “dead” hips, shoulders, legs and back pain … worst product and company(ies) ever which doesn’t stand behind products. Will be writing Attorney General, CEO’s of both Beautyrest and Mattress Firm and the Federal Trade Commission as BeautyRest apparently “guarantees their products”, until someone and something like this occurs. Then no one does the “right” thing. Then we’re ignored. Reading other complaints it’s a consistent problem and Beauty Rest does nothing. We certainly cannot afford wasting $4000 on a substandard product and we will be filing in our court systems as this isn’t right. Horrible product and these TWO companies just do not care to stand behind their products. Have photos.

Desired outcome: Money x3 back. Court filing.

Beautyrest Beautyrest Matress

About a year or so ago I purchased a Beautyrest mattress. After less than a year It completely sags, at least a 3-4 in dip where I sleep. I tried to call the company I purchased it from, but I did not have a warranty through that company, so I am unable to return or exchange it. With the amount of money spent on this mattress and reading other reviews and complaints about the same issue, I feel it shouldn’t be this difficult to get a refund.

Desired outcome: I’d like a refund or at least a credit so I can purchase a well made mattress.

Beautyrest Mattress firm dealer/Simmons BeautyRest

September 2021 I purchased A Beautyrest Beyond Firm Mattress for $3999. I paid for delivery and installation of the adjustable mattress base and headboard in addition to that price. The delivery was one week late (fine) but they did not have the headboard with them. Mattress firm said they didn’t have any at the time of the sale and will order me one. 3 months later and many phone calls, I picked up my headboard pieces to assemble myself at home. I couldn’t complete it because it wasn’t the headboard for my base. I returned it and they ordered another one quickly. I asked if they are going to install it as I paid for that and they said I would have to pay a separate charge for them to come again! 2nd issue: I paid $150 for a mattress protector from Mattress Firm. The protector did not work as my infant spilled her bottle of milk on the mattress protector and it went through to the mattress. This item was defective. I submitted a claim and received a second one with no issues. 3rd issue: Within 6 months of my BeautyRest Beyond mattress purchase, my mattress began to sag by 1/2 inch on the entire edge of one side of the bed. It was 1 inch depression a couple inches in from the edge. I weigh 150 lbs. I submitted a claim through MattressFirm’s limited warranty and waited 2 months for a response of the warranty is incomplete please use our measuring device to determine the depth of the issue and lay a broomstick down as a control. I did everything they asked and they responded to my claim as void. They said to expect a depression over time and that the stain voids my contract. The contract states this warranty does not apply to mattresses with stains of blood born pathogens and dangerous bodily fluids. I am not submitting a claim because of the stain, I submitted a claim because of the manufacturer defect. They responded with it is unsanitary for the workers to pick up the mattress and house it in a warehouse with other mattresses in an attempt to fix the defect and resell. Well maybe that’s just the problem. I purchased a used, defective BeautyRest mattress from Mattress Firm with the belief that it was a new mattress priced at $3999. This company is doing horrendous things to it’s customers and to nullify my warranty over a stain when the legal language is clear that I am within my rights. Never buy from Mattress Firm or BeautyRest as their products are damaged and resold. They enter contracts and breach them as they wish. They do not honor you as a customer or your rights.

Desired outcome: I want a new mattress or my money back.

Just a quick afterthought, it’s laughable to hear from the company expect a depression over time-yes, maybe in 7 years not 7 months. The depression is there without weight on it, when you lay on it, the mattress sinks and rolls you off. My body is in pain and I ache everyday after clinging to my night table for support all night as an attempt to not roll onto the floor.

Beautyrest Electric blanket controllers changing heat settings

King size electric blanket controller #SCEB2.4.3 gets hotter on its own when turned on. I set it at #5 when going to bed and within one hr. it moved up to #7. I set it back to #5 and by 3 AM it was reading #17!
This is dangerous and I would like replacement controllers for the 2 king size blankets I own. I purchased 2 blankets in 2018.

I've been trying to contact customer Service for days. I don't think there is such a thing, but I too have a controller problem. Two controllers on two blankets in the last three years have simply stopped working. After the first died I bought another blanket. I won't do that again.

Beautyrest Deceptive Warranty

Approximately two years ago, I paid over $2, 700 for a queen size mattress and box springs set of Simmons Beautyrest, in the "top of the line" Black model. This mattress is now severely sagging at the edge and on the side on which I usually sleep. I am a 6' 3, " 220 lb guy. Their rep measures the sag with no one on the bed at 1", less than the 1.5" required for any warranty action. They also cite a minor discoloration stain (from a Coke) on the edge of the box springs as justification for not standing behind the mattress warranty.

How a company can even suggest that a soft drink stain on the edge of a box springs would void a mattress warranty is a true joke. It shows the Simmons Company to be what it is, a deceitful bunch of scoundrels. I did not buy a bed as a work of art; and, do not care what it does, or looks like, when it is not in use. Who came up with this worthless warranty standard of testing a bed with nothing on it, in the first place? This is not what anyone intends when they buy a mattress; and, the bedding industry should be ashamed of itself for even implying that there is a genuine, reasonable, warranty on their product.

It has been the most uncomfortable mattress we have ever owned. There are large sags in spots. It is hot and uncomfortable. The edges should be firm, they sagged and caused a fall and concussion.

The mattress bends to one side it's very uncomfortable we've had it for 2 years I have pictures of it to show you what it looks like I used to like Beautyrest mattress now I don't like it anymore I'm thinking of going to somebody else can you help us or not
