Purchased a sweater set. Light glitter type tank and top set. Did not try on in store. Upon arrival at home, tried the set on, and, my body , as well as the surrounding area was covered in gold glitter.
After time staking effort to clean myself and the area. I repackage the items for return.
In the interim, there was some suspicious activity on the debit card i utilized to purchase this item. The bank closed the account for security reason once I notified them of the issue.
Upon returning the item ti the store of purchase. The customer service person stated that she could only provide me with a store credit even though i had the receipt of purchase because I did not have the original debit card of purchase.. I explained the reason as to why I did not have the card of purchase. It made no difference too her she stated per store policy.
I am now stuck with a store credit card of $101.00. I rarely shop at department stores. This item was purchased for a reunion. And I ended up wearing clothing already within my closet.
I did later return to Belks. I went to customer service. Explained the situation and wanted to know why I could not get the monies credited back too any of my debit cards, other stores allow this practice. That person stated that I should of requested a Manager to get the credit back to another of my debit cards . But it was a month later, so pet store policy. There was nothing she could do.
I was never provided with the option of speaking too a manager a the time if the return.
I would like too return this store credit card for a refund, be it back too one of my other debit cards or cash.
