Bell Mechanical came out and replaced the evaporator coil, but they couldn't charge the system completely because of the rain. They said they couldn't finish the job until it got warmer. However, they didn't come back, and the system stopped running because there wasn't enough freon when it got warmer. We called Bell Mechanical, but no one came out. The system stopped working on a Friday evening, and we were assured someone would come out the next day. We left several messages on Saturday, but no one called back. They say they have office hours from 8am-5pm on Saturday, but we couldn't reach anyone. We had to call another company to fix the unit, and they arrived in less than an hour. Be careful with Bell Mechanical.

I give Bell Mechanical Services, LLC zero stars. I got a new house in 2018 and they put in the ax system, but it's not good. There are leaks in the attic and they picked bad equipment and did a bad job putting it in. I had to pay a lot for electricity because of it. Now I have a baby and we have to live in the living room because the system doesn't work right. Upstairs only gets heat. Customer service is bad too. They shouldn't be in business if they do things like this. They are a terrible company and I wouldn't use them.

My fam and I bought a crib in Dec 2018, and soon after, our AC unit started actin' up. Bell sent a tech to check it out and said we needed new coils. We waited two weeks for another tech to come and he said the compressor was flooded and burned out. The first tech said he put some "refrigerant" in to cool the house until the coils came in three days. The second tech said the compressor was bad cuz of the "refrigerant." Now Bell wants us to pay full price for labor cuz of their tech's mistake. Not cool.

I had an appointment for 6/10/22 'cause my two rooms weren't cool enough. I got an email confirmation, but when I called Bell Mechanical customer service 'cause nobody showed up, they said my appointment was canceled by me, the homeowner. I didn't cancel it and didn't get an email about it. This cooling problem's been going on for a while, and every time a new technician comes, they just do step 1. Why can't they send someone who knows the issue and can go to step 2? They don't have a fix time frame, so I have to take a whole day off work. Today, I took a day off thinking my appointment was still on, but now it's canceled, and they don't know who did it. I want reimbursement for today and another day when they come to fix the issue. Bell Mechanics needs to take responsibility for the customer. I need this fixed ASAP, and I need reimbursement for the day I'm losing from work. If I lose my job, Bell Mechanics will have to compensate for all this on top of the two days I took off. I attached the email confirmation of the appointment that was originally scheduled for the evening but moved to the morning.

I wanted to give Bell Mechanical Services, LLC a big fat zero stars. I called them on 7/27 because my A/C unit wasn't blowing right. Brandon came out on 7/28 and said everything was fine, but within three hours of him leaving, the unit started acting up again. I called back and they sent someone out on 7/29 who changed the thermostat, but that didn't help either. I called again on 7/30 and was told no one was available. Finally, on 8/1, someone came out and said it was the blower/fan, but they had to order the part and didn't know when it would arrive. I've called twice since then and no one has called me back. They must not know how to track packages. SMH.

My AC broke down earlier this week and it's still under warranty. We called Bell Mechanical Services, LLC and they promised to send a technician, but no one showed up. I have four kids, including a baby with a heart condition, and it's too hot to have no AC in LA. The part we need only costs $20 and there's a nearby vendor that has it in stock, but the technician said they can't use that vendor or part, which doesn't make any sense.

My air stopped working a week ago. Bell Mechanical Services came and fixed it, but it broke again. They came to fix it again, but then sent a guy who didn't do anything and didn't write any notes. They sent someone else to fix the job, but we had to wait for parts. The parts finally arrived, but we're still waiting for them to come put it in. It's so hot in this house and we haven't had cold air in over a week. We have three small kids and it's a health emergency. They said they can come on Monday, but originally it was supposed to be next Friday. I had to beg for Monday.

An employee came out on 4/12 and checked my system and told me what was wrong and charged me $89. He said I should get a call with an estimate by 4/13. I called every day but got no response. I asked to speak with a manager but was told they were always "out that day". I asked for a refund but was told no. It's tough being in southern Louisiana without a/c in April, especially when I had a sick child in my house. Nobody at the business wanted to help me, they just took my money and didn't give me a timeline or estimate. They said they would email me a receipt but never did, so I can't even get reimbursed by my insurance company.

Bell Mechanical been tryna fix my air for like 2 weeks now in Baton Rouge. They said they fixed it yesterday morning but when I got home last night it was still hot as hell, like over 80 degrees. When I called them they said the fix was just temporary till they ordered a part, but they didn't tell me that before. They won't let me talk to nobody higher up than customer service and keep saying they leaving messages for some dude named Steve who ain't even in the office. The CS person asked me what I think they should do, like I'm the expert or something. I feel like they don't even know what's wrong and just guessing with the repairs, one part at a time. And they ain't even telling us what's really going on. I done spent over $1000 on this and still ain't got no AC in my house.

I called Bell Mechanical on 3/10 cause our A/C wasn't working right. The tech came out on 3/11 and said the system was installed wrong (wired wrong). He put in a new plate in the wiring and hoped it would fix it. But it made the compressor break and need replacing. Our warranty for labor is over, and they said we gotta pay $1200 for labor. But it ain't my fault they messed up - plus my electric bill went up cause we had to use emergency heat and fans all the time. I called them three times, even today, and they still ain't got the part. They keep doing new installs in the area, so why we gotta wait a whole month for a part?

I called Bell Mechanical on 06/10 'cause my A/C wasn't working right. The tech came on 06/15 and said the Freon was low 'cause of a leak in the coil. They charged me $155 for the diagnostic test, but the tech didn't do any leak test. They just took off a few screws on the coil panel and looked inside without taking off the plate. They said the coil needed replacing and it was under warranty, so they'd work with Goodman for the part. They said it'd cost $1300 for labor to replace the coil. I got another AC company to come on 06/23 and they found the leak was from the valve, not the coil. I didn't need to replace the coil after all. If I'd gone with Bell Mechanical, I would've paid an extra $1300 for a part I didn't need.

I had problem with my air handler in the attic sweating too much inside and outside. Bell Mechanical Services sent techs many times over 2 years to fix it. But it's still not fixed. They insulated the whole handler, ran another return, and insulted the outside of the air handler. But it didn't work. The HVAC techs said it's normal for an air handler to sweat and mold to grow, but it's not. Mold inside the unit is causing respiratory issues for my kids. This problem needs to be fixed now! The unit is faulty and needs to be replaced. I'm tired of these techs guessing and not knowing anything. It's been 2 years and the problem is still not fixed.

Bell Mechanical put in 4 Lennox A/C units in my crib 5 years back. I've dropped over $2000.00 in repair and service calls to keep them working. The trouble started within 3 months of the install when one of the units failed to cool. Their service dude found a leak, fixed it and refilled with refrigerant. This happened multiple times in the 5 year history with Bell and as recently as July. The Coil failed in one of the units in 2019 and Bell replaced and said it was an issue with the Lennox design and the warranty would pay for the parts but they charged me $850 for the repair which took one hour. Another unit began to produce mildew from one of the vents and they recommended we change the thermostat to another type that would allow the cycle times to extend to longer run times. They also caulked around the vent duct piping. Mildew continues come out of the vent. We spent $900 on this issue and it is still not resolved. The main house unit cools only part of the house...there is as much as a 5 degree temperature variance in one of the rooms. In July the main house failed to cool again and their service rep found another failed Lennox Coil. Again the coil part is covered under the Lennox warranty but the labor to replace was quoted at $1000.

I just moved into a new crib built by DSLD and Bell Mechanical is the A/C contractor. I moved in on Dec. 30th 2021 and within a few weeks, my A/C started blowing hot instead of cold. Bell sent a tech to fix it and he found a loose wire on the unit that wasn't plugged in all the way. He fixed it but changed a wire on the thermostat that caused more issues. When I reached out to Bell again, they sent another tech who found the wire that the first tech switched. He fixed it and my unit has been running perfectly since. The second tech told me that he always has to fix the first tech's mistakes. My electricity bill was almost $800 and DSLD said Bell had to reimburse me. I spoke with *** and she asked for proof of my bill. I sent it to her and she said her manager would reach out to me. I've reached out a few times for an update but she keeps giving me the runaround.
