Bellco Credit Union Worst website and credit union I have ever dealt with

Worst website and credit union I have ever dealt with. It is impossible to talk to an associate. I pressed 1 for a call back because they were busy (as always). 3 days later I still did not get a call back. Next time I waited to talk to an agent. It took several hours and agent wasn't able to help me. They also charge a fee to make a loan payment. I am making my payment on time and I have to pay an additional fee to do so. Total BS. Every time I access the online services it won't accept my password. I ask for them to send me a verification code via email. They never send it. Totally frustrating. DO NOT USE THEM!

Disorganized, horrible, unreliable bank. After opening up a savings and (required) checking account, we were issued debit cards as standard practice. The following day, a CREDIT card, which we did not open, arrived. After hours on hold, repeating the 16 digit code to the phone rep, and explaining that we did not open a credit card, they still had no idea which account it was tied to, though our names appeared on the card. Again, we did not open a credit card, and have no record of this account in their (atrocious) online banking portal.

We paid the loan off early for LITERALLY NO OTHER REASON than to assure they made no more money from us. It took them almost four months to report the payoff to credit bureaus. This wasn't in our best fiscal interest, and would have kept it if it had been any other bank, but when faced with paying cash for a new car or paying off the loan, we opted to open a car loan with another bank and pay off the Bellco loan.

Changing a mailing address should be a simple task with a bank. After changing it online, two phone calls, and changing it on the other joint account holder's online banking, our tax documents were STILL sent to our old address. This credit union is an absolute joke of an establishment. I've had fantastic experiences with other credit unions; Bellco is awful in every facet of their business.

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!I have been trying to pay off an auto loan now, going on a month and a half. First, after being on hold for thirty minutes I request a payoff amount letter. A week later I get a payoff letter for someone else's loan, with all their account information on it, I mean all their information. So, another forty-five-minute hold... they act like this happens all the time, no telling how many people now have all my information. A week later I get a payoff letter with my information on it. I don't want there to be any more excuses for them to delay this transaction, so I go get an official check to pay it off. A week goes by, nothing. Thirty-minute-hold. "We are sorry, all of our loan personnel have just left for the evening". Next day, Thirty -minute-hold, then "Let me talk to...Oh, I'll have to talk to..." one hour later, "You paid it off with a check that doesn't have your address on it. We can't release the title to you until the institution that you used the Official check from writes us a letter saying we can release it to you." Are you kidding me! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!

Bellco admitted to an error on their end that resulted in a 50pt hit to my credit score. Unfortunately I noticed this after already having issues with Bellco and closing my accounts. I was a customer for 10 years, however after hearing that the mistake was theirs and being directed to claims department I was never replied to. I followed up for months with no resolution. It sounds like their customer service is mediocre at best when you are a customer and nonexistent the second you close your accounts with them.

Long story short. Paid off a loan 11/5. Still getting mail as of 3/4/2022. So call to verify my loan account was CLOSED. Provide info to verify my information to which point they say there's another "Deposit" account in my name. What's a deposit account? apparently when you get a loan they automatically create an account with $25 in it to get all their member advertising. Okay close it. Oh well we can't verify you. You just verified my loan account. What do I need to provide? Oh nothing you have to go to a branch. So I call back. 2nd time the woman named "Precious" who wasn't precious at all says "oh we can't verify you." Without asking me a single question. Then puts me on hold for her "manager" who is such DB he/she just set "dont you get it we aren't helping you." I see why they call it the "escalation department." Designed to escalate a totally simple request. Then told me not to bother calling back. That's fine, I will also never open an account with you either. I've also sent the full experience to your corporate office so hopefully these "representatives" are either demoted or terminated.

Bellco Credit Union DO NOT USE THIS BANK!

DO NOT USE THIS BANK! 25 years with them and every year I have to contest fraudulent charges on their porous debit card system. This year they credited back one small charge and first credited and then reversed the credits on obviously fraudulent charges, saying that the charges were more than 60 days old (was never told this before) , even though THE OTHER FRAUDULENT CHARGE THEY REVERSED WAS MORE THAN 60 DAYS OLD. Completely impersonal, they won't let me talk to a human or branch manager! I was close my accounts soon with them, which have been substantial. I should have closed my accounts with Bellco a long time ago, so much for loyalty.

Bellco CU is the worst! I had well over six figures in savings and money market accounts and I pulled it all out and went to an actual local bank. They didn't offer any incentives to stay there. The company is too small to handle the volume they have with their members. I also have a credit card with an actual credit they owe me. I have tried to use the CC a few times over the past few days and it keeps telling me it's inactive. After being on hold for long periods of time the past two days they assured me it was active. I went to use it today and it the purchase did not go through. They don't offer 24/7 service like bigger banks. They are a mom & pop operation and their business model is outdated. To Bellco - get your act together for the members who are still with you.

Bellco Credit Union I've had terrible experiences with my auto loan

I've had terrible experiences with my auto loan. You can't pay online and setting it up is difficult - mail a check, they don't receive, you get a default notice. 3 year later my loan has now ended, I returned the car and called Bellco to ensure my account was closed and up to date, then I get a letter in mail from their Collections Department. I call, they apologize, and say it's been resolved. Today I just saw they charged me for May (my account terminated in March). The customer service people I have spoken to have been very nice and helpful, but I am beyond frustrated. It goes without saying that I am not using Bellco for my new auto loan.

I can't believe it takes more than 7 days AND 2 visits to a branch AND 2 phone calls to correct a mobile deposit error... and I'm still waiting. Every encounter says 8-10hours to correct, don't believe them. After 30 years of membership it's a shame.

We closed an account and they reopened it without our consent. Because it was unfounded, it hit our credit score and decreased the score. They did this several time and our credit score dropped every time. Worst experience EVER!

Bellco Credit Union One star is 3 too many

One star is 3 too many. Bellco is the proud owner of the worst online banking system in the world. I suddenly now have to be issued an authentication code when trying to login. Neither my phone or laptop are new. Even if I they were new, ONE authentication code each should be sufficient. NOT with this inept place. It takes a loooong time to get a human on the phone, only to be transferred to "tech support". This is a totally inept and arrogant group. They do NOT: listen, care, understand the problem, or know how to communicate and / or solve problems. Their system reflects the ineptness of Bellco. It works sporadically - which, in the real world, means - IT IS BROKEN! Press 1 for a call back - has yet to work in 3 years of trying. Pathetic. An insult to intelligence. A joke. Useless.

Bellco has NO customer service and continually overlaps threatening letters to pay - when payments have already been made. Just got a Right to Cure Default with $0.00 due immediately. Really? There are so many other wonderful credit unions. Bellco is NOT one of them.

We refinanced our home and rolled our auto loans into the refinance. Two of our auto loans were with Bellco. Checks were sent out from Closing USA for payoff of the auto loans. The two checks totaling $50,840 were mailed to me and I overnighted them to Bellco through USPS. The address for auto loan payments is 971 Corporate Blvd. Linthicum, MD [protected] per the Bellco website. Per USPS tracking the checks were received by Bellco on 5/07. I continued to check my Bellco accounts to verify posting and they continue to not be posted. I called on 5/11 to verify that the checks were received and posted. I spoke to Willie who assured me that the checks were received and would be posted by Wednesday or Thursday. Thursday rolled around and nothing was posted. I called again and this time I was told that the checks were sent to the wrong address (this was the address on Bellco's website!) and that payoff checks need to be sent to Greenwood Village, CO. The rep I was speaking with spoke to her manager who said that I should put a stop pay on my checks. They are from an escrow account with a closing company, not personal checks so obviously not an option! I finally was put in contact with another manager, Malcom, who looked and said that the checks should have been sent by the MD office to the CO office. This is by mail as this banking institution cannot actually process a payoff out of the MD location. REALLY?! As of 5/17 nobody has actually laid eyes on the checks and are just trusting that the process is working and trusting in a defunded poorly ran postal serviced. In the meantime, one of my loans is past due and their collections department is sending threatening letters. I spoke with the collections department who showed NO notes as to what is happening despite assurances from Malcom. I had to go through the whole process again with them and they supposedly noted the accounts. After that I called with an extensive hold time and spoke with a rep who agreed that it is Bellco's job to actually post the payments rather than pass the buck to another department. He found Malcom who I spoke with again and he admitted that nobody has actually seen the checks and assumed that they were being sent from MD to CO. He would allegedly be contacting both the repossession department and collections to make sure that my vehicles would not be repossessed or late payments reported to my credit. This is a verbal confirmation and no guarantee of anything. Look at all of the reviews and absolutely refuse to do business with these people. As of right now $50k of my money is likely lost and based on other customers' experiences I sincerely doubt this will be actually taken care of.

One star is to much. I have been with Bellco for at least 10 years and have been well satisfied until now. My checking account has been closed in error without notice. I called and was told that a member of upper management would be in contact with me, they never called back. I called Bellco a second time and spoke with Jose, who agreed that the closing was in error and that it would take five days to correct it due to the holiday. In the meantime I cannot use my debit card or write checks for groceries, gas, etc. In addition I had a retirement check that was not deposited due to their incompetence.

Don't let them fool you into thinking they're not a bank. They're no different than the rest. In fact, others might even surpass them in service quality. They don't hesitate to charge you overdraft fees but are slow to process pending transactions. It's just a scheme to increase the likelihood of overdrafts so they can profit more.

Bellco Credit Union I Had been a member for over 10 years, i have always been treated kindly and respectfully until this past Saturday November 21st

I Had been a member for over 10 years, i have always been treated kindly and respectfully until this past Saturday November 21st. I went over to the Mississippi and Havana location, we were in line for about 20 minutes,Crystal, sales representative from Bellco, comes out and states that they could no longer help us because it was 2 minutos before 2 pm, closing time, even though we were there at 1:35 pm. I explain what type of services i was requesting from the bank. She was talking over me and trying to act like she could not understand what it was needed. She stated we have to go thru the drive thru in and they could help us there, even though I was not happy with the answer, i went thru the drive thru. because of her bad customer service. a process that should take around 10 minutes it took about 35 minutes or more , the teller was not able to process my request and recommended for us to go in person. So I do not recommend Bellco Credit Union anymore.

You wrote a review for Bellco Credit Union A moment ago 1.0 star rating 9/19 I would give them ZERO stars but that is not an option. AVOID THIS BANKING INSTITUTION AT ALL COSTS. Our 83 year old deceased father banked here. They were obstructive in trying to obtain information and statements from is account once he passed away despite being given all legal documents required by the courts. It took well over 3 months and 3 dozen email, phone calls, online requests and in person visits to get what we needed. Lots of runaround and flat out lying to our faces as well as lying to NCUA regarding his accounts. Turns out they were allowing his new wife of only a few months to forge his name on checks and make withdrawls from his accounts when she was not a member attached to his accounts. In all we found 27 checks she wrote forging his name, many of which were written before he even married her. She also used his Bellco credit card (even though he was the only one attached to that account) to pay for her liposuction. What did Bellco do when we brought all of this to their attention? NOTHING! They are just as guilty as she is in ripping him off.

Bellco Credit Union I have been a member of Bellco for more than 40 years

I have been a member of Bellco for more than 40 years. When I 1st joined, it was such a wonderful experience and I was treated so well, I felt as if I were part of a family. I am so very sorry to say things have changed quite drastically in the opposite direction. I have been attempting (all week) to send a Wire Transfer. I have followed all of the correct procedures including calling the WT Dept at Bellco to confirm they have received my form (they had not). So here's the scoop. Once you fill out and send the WT form, you then have to wait for Operations to call & advise they have received it. If you MISS their phone call, they VOID the transaction. Should you be around to answer their call, they send you ANOTHER form, which has to be electronically signed BEFORE they will release MY MONEY from MY ACCOUNT. So much for being a Member (?). My Broker, who is waiting for the transfer, told me he has NEVER had a Client who has had to experience SO MANY ISSUES just to send money to the Brokerage. Also, if the transfer is not processed prior to 2pm MT, it will not be processed until the next business day. Solution: I belong to another CU. Am going to pull my funds out of Bellco and deposit them into the other Institution. So much for the last 40 years.

Here was the email I sent based on my recent experience: On or about 04/10 at or about 10:39AM Arizona Time, I made a call to inquire on my balance so I could pay off my auto loan. The young lady answered my questions and was courteous. I then went to my bank, *** and collected a cashier's check in the amount needed to pay off my loan. I drove to the local branch authorized to collect payments on your behalf, *** Federal Credit Union located on Elliott Rd. in Gilbert, AZ. The teller was not able to assist me on this transaction and asked her manager to assist us both. Unfortunately, the manager and teller were having issues. I then placed a call back to Bellco on or about 11:36AM Arizona Time. I placed the call on speaker so the teller and branch manager might be able to gain assistance and complete the transaction. I verified my account with the gentleman on the phone. I inquired about the issues we were having. He was very impolite and very rude. I told him about his customer service and asked to speak with a manager. He came back on the line and explained it would be 50 minutes. You can hear the rest of the call as it indicates, "All calls are recorded". Instead of assisting me and helping me understand, he hung up on me. When I attempted to call back he answered again and hung up. My cellphone as the call logs indicated the numerous times I reached out. This was very unsatisfactory and not in keeping with the standards I would think would reflect your organization's mission, vision, and values. As such, I mailed my final payment into the address indicated on my statement. I do not believe I will ever be conducting business with your organization again based on this experience. Just wanted to let you know. I did end up calling back to speak with a supervisor and finally got through to the first young lady that helped me in the beginning and she waited with me to speak with a manager which took a very extensive amount of time. I would think a manager would not take this long of a time to reach which is my second reason for choosing not to do business with Bellco in the future. Thank you for reading my concerns. I don't anticipate anything will come from it based on my recent experiences.

Bellco Credit Union This is literally the worst financial institution I have ever had the displeasure of encountering

This is literally the worst financial institution I have ever had the displeasure of encountering. If I could give a review of zero or even negative stars, I would. I do not write reviews in general, but feel the need to outline just how terrible this business is. I bought a vehicle from a dealership while I lived in Littleton, CO. There were issues monthly with just trying to make a payment with the Bellco website because I did not have a savings/checking account with them, and it would take an average of 30-60 minutes, and usually at least one phone call to customer service, just to make the monthly payment. A few months in, they finally updated their online payment portal and removed their asinine $3 "service fee" for making the payment online that had been in effect since the loan was established. About a year ago, I moved to another state, and registering the vehicle in the new state requires a copy of the title. I requested a copy of the title from Bellco to get this accomplished, a request that has spanned nearly a year with customer service, across dozens of phone calls and just about as many different accounts, stories, and lies about what was happening on the account to prevent my access to the document I was requesting. On top of all of that, I have updated my mailing address with them at least 5 times, and was sent a piece of mail last week that STILL had my previous address on it. I was finally told four months ago that Bellco could not release a copy of the title to me, and they could not release any official documentation to me explaining why they couldn't release a copy of the title (per the request from the local DMV) and that the local DMV needed to send a request in for a copy of the title from Bellco. Instead of pushing on any further with this ridiculously unprofessional company run by incompetents, I chose to refinance my auto loan with a local credit union in my state, thinking surely now, things would go more smoothly. Several phone calls later, I am still at a loss. I refinanced my loan with the local credit union over 2 months ago. I called Bellco last week to see the status of the title because my local credit union had still not received a copy of the title, nor had I. Per the representative I spoke with, there was no activity on my account after the vehicle was paid off, no lien release mailed, no title copy mailed out - NOTHING. So I called again today, and was told that they've never had a paper copy of the title (they held the loan for over 2 years but didn't have the title - very suspect), they sent out the lien release two days after I called most recently, and that I should receive the lien release soon. I do not have high hopes. Luckily, my local credit union will be stepping in now to handle the rest of this monster on my behalf, after calling and explaining to them the antics of Bellco. If you value your own time & sanity, helpful customer service, and processes that move without you having to initiate every step of the way: DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SHADY COMPANY!

Bellco Credit Union Attached is a letter I sent on December 1, regarding a leasing issue, Attn: Finance Department

Attached is a letter I sent on December 1, Attn: Finance Department RE: New Leased RAV4 I am writing this letter to express my dissatisfaction with a recent leasing experience. Last October, I leased a vehicle for my wife, not realizing I was dealing with a highly incompetent leasing team. I am considering unwinding the deal due to the impossibility of working with this organization. If returning the vehicle is not an option, are there alternative lease arrangements available? My attempts to get assistance from the credit unions have been met with silence, and my dealings with the DMV have been frustrating due to unsubmitted paperwork. I've incurred additional costs for temporary plates and experienced unacceptable customer service delays. I need to ensure my payment information is received to avoid any negative reporting on my impeccable payment history. My initial car shopping experience was positive, but this leasing ordeal with the finance groups has left me doubtful about future dealings. I urgently request a written response detailing the status of my lease. Regards

I traded my vehicle that was financed with Bellco on 6/4/22. Car was paid off with them on 6/14/22. On 7/20/22 I contacted Bellco to see where title was sent. It was sent to my old state DMV as they never updated to current state despite the state requesting it previously stating they never submitted the correct form. Filled out form to get title from old state. Called to followup on 8/8/22 and they stated that they never received the title or lien release from Bellco as they previously told me. It is now 2 months later and still can't locate title for the dealer that got my car. I had to request a letter showing that car was paid off as they don't send them automatically. This bank has never done anything normal with this car loan. I need my title and need it now to prevent losing my new car because of them.

I purchased my leased vehicle from Bellco on 12/30. They cashed my check on 12/20. To this day, I have not received a title for my vehicle. I bought the car intending to sell it immediately. All I've been hearing from them is nonsense and lies after hours of being on the phone trying to reach an answer or a solution.

Finally, in March 2022, I got a phone call from a woman in the titles department. She informed me that they mistakenly sent my title to an incorrect address in Washington and there was nothing they could do to recover that title. Since it was originally a leased vehicle, she said she would contact the state immediately to request the processing of a new title.

It has been 9 months since Bellco cashed $24,000 from my account. I can't sell the car, I'm still paying insurance for it, I don't have a legal parking spot in my neighborhood for it, so I've been getting fines and complaints, and I have no idea when or how this issue will be resolved.

I've emailed the titles department twice in the last two weeks. Of course, I have not heard back. I'm hoping you can help me with this situation or tell me how I could proceed. Legal actions maybe? I appreciate your consideration,

Best

Bellco placed a hold on my accounts after a late payment on a line of credit in April. The payment was brought up to date, but the hold was never lifted.I've had a credit card cancel because several of my payments have been rejected by Bellco because of the hold on my account. I only recently discovered this after speaking with a customer service rep.I have tried to contact Bellco SEVEN times by e-mail beginning August 1st. 2022.This had adversely affected my relationship with a credit card company and also harmed my credit rating. I was told a senior executive would contact me - heard nothing - then told this person was on vacation and wouldn't return to the office for a week. It has now been over a week and I have yet to hear from anyone to fix this problem.

My car was stolen from my driveway, and my loan balance was transferred to someone else who refinanced a loan using my credit and social security number. I found my vehicle near 23rd Street with the vehicle identification number removed. I called Bellco, and my phone call was rerouted to a fraudulent Bellco representative. This is a scheme designed to steal cars and resell them through an illegal operation. Certain representatives are involved in this scam. And AutoNation Jeep is implicated in these fraudulent activities. A family member of one of the culprits is the secretary. These individuals appropriated my car, kept my loan payments, and resold my loan to a woman who assumed my identity and impersonated me. Her husband is

Bellco Credit Union Record calls, even if driving, pull over and record calls, or stick to email

Record calls, even if driving, pull over and record calls, or stick to email. The latest move on Bellco's part was to report to TransUnion that my balance increased $493.00 and then reported to Experian that my balance decreased $493.00. TransUnion dropped 70 points and affected my FICO score to report the same on a weekend 3/29. We were planning on putting down a deposit on a house and since lender's use your lowest score, we more than likely lost the house. I emailed both contacts for Bellco, disputes, consumer services and collections at Bellco then set a phone appointment to hear from a very young girl who lacked experienced...repeated 4 times, "I am not sure how to explain this..." She tried to lecture my spouse and I on how credit reports work. I have definitive evidence that Bellco reported accounts inaccurately to TransUnion vs. Experian and they refuse to fix this, so I opened a dispute. I have been in weekly contact with Bellco since November when they made an error giving me a two month deferment, which a Bellco representative Nathaniel R confirmed there was an error in writing; however, Bellco refuses to correct that issue just making excuses. I saw the notes making reference to a 2-month deferment, was verbally congratulated by a female representative for a two-month deferment. I would not have known about a two-month deferment unless I was told. I did not record the conversation, but I do have an email confirming the due date. Bellco will not correct the mistakes and ruined my credit on TransUnion. Bellco also opened an account similar to Wells Fargo getting in trouble without client knowledge or permission. I have two accounts, which I never approved the 2nd account to be open. Account #

I used the online payment portal to make a payment to the utility company in March 2022. The payment showed as being made ($307.07 was deducted a day or two after making the payment online via Bellco). I then received a disconnect notice from the utility company at the end of March 2022 because they had not received the payment. To date, I am unable to get proof of payment being made by Bellco to show to the utility company. I have spent countless hours on-hold and having to re-tell the details to multiple customer service representatives without any resolution. I am unable to get them to even return my phone calls (even though they promised to do so). Bellco is unable to prove my money went to the utility company and despite me disputing this charge, I am still out my $307.07 without any resolution in sight. This has been going on since late March/early April 2022 and I'm sick of being ignored and lied to. If I took someone's money and didn't provide the service they were expecting, I'd be guilty of theft. Bellco is currently guilty of theft as they have not proven that the money was ever received by the utility company.

Applied for an auto loan in March. Loan was funded on 3/10. Titles, despite multiple calls and emails, still have not finished processing the proper forms. Three months later, the DMV is still waiting. The second set of temporary plates will expire in a week. I called to speak with the manager in the titles department. I was told she would call back but she never did. When I called again, I was told she was at lunch. The DMV still doesn't have my paperwork. Bellco's response was, 'Sorry, we had it in May but then lost your file. Now we've found it again!'

I understand that HELOCs are based on the Prime rate plus a margin, and the last time the federal reserve raised the Prime rate was on May 5, 2022. I applied for a HELOC at Bellco Credit Union and experienced a bait-and-switch situation. Throughout the application process, I was consistently informed that my variable rate would be 4%, which implied that my rate would be the Prime rate with no additional margin. This was particularly evident when I received multiple emails from my financial specialist on June 4th, 2022, and from my Home Equity Processor on June 3rd, just one week prior to my scheduled closing, both confirming that my variable rate would be 4%. I am aware that this is a variable rate and subject to change, but the Prime rate was adjusted over a month prior, so I'm perplexed as to why I was told one rate throughout the process only to have it change at closing. The explanation given was a clerical error and that the Prime rate had changed. While I acknowledge the Prime rate's change, it had indeed been over a month since that last change on May 5, 2022. I decided not to close and am giving Bellco the opportunity to correct the issue, but I have yet to receive a response regarding their decision. I left a message for the manager and have not received a callback. It has been four hours since I left the message, and I have yet to hear anything.

I just recently found out that I have an open savings account with bellco credit union. I had purchased a vehicle a couple of years back and this bank was used to finance the purchase. The vehicle was payed off at the first payment due date. However, the savings account associated with this loan remained open with no activity and no knowledge on my part. I received no correspondence regarding the acct. and recently received a statement showing a zero balance and a monthly inactive acct. fee of $5. I called to close the acct. but was told I have a negative acct. of $25. which needs to be payed prior to closing the acct. Apparently there were funds in the savings that I was not aware of which have been used to pay the inactive fee since the paying off of the loan. I'd like to recover the funds that were initially left over along with the closing of the acct. without paying the -$25 owed on an acct. I was not aware of.

Bellco Credit Union Bellco Credit Union took a portion of payoff and will not refund it back

Bellco Credit Union took a portion of payoff and will not refund it back. Claiming that pay off on car was exact amount that the dealership's check payoff amount. Which isn't true. This is about my car, original loan amount was around $30,000 with about APR 3.990% and was financed at around 7. I have been making extra payments to lower the payment over 2 years and interest should have been down more than it should have been. On 5/25 I sold my car to Century Chevy located in Broomfield Colorado for 22000. Dealership made check amount of 15877.20+($12.5 per day interest for x 30 days in interest=$375)=equivalent to $16252.61. However upon talking to rep at Bellco, the payoff was made on 6/2. Even bellco rep thinks interest is high for payoff. First problem was that the interest for payoff is too high per day as it was at $12.5 at around $350. This is nowhere near original contracted interest. $15877.20's daily interested should have been roughly at around $1.73 per daily. (Even if I did calculation wrong it should have been close to it) Second problem is that even interest was at $12.5 daily it should have been maximum of 8 days of which should have been 12.5x8=$100. Even if they charged me high interests I should have had $275 refunded back to me but nothing. The extra amount should have been close to $337. They claim that payoff was exactly what dealership sent ($16252.61) which is totally wrong. Bellco definitely lost difference in amount. Somewhere or someone just received dealership check and typed in $16252.61 as payoff. I have not yet contacted by the bellco rep or anyone with updated information and been frustrated. It's not much in their standard but with whole Covid19, I ended up selling car due to financial hardship. This is just worst time for them to just take money from their customers.

My car loan was with Bellco Credit Union. On February 14, 2022, I transferred money from one account I had with Bellco to my car loan account to pay it off. I called Bellco on March 1, 2022, to find out where my car title was. The woman I spoke to said they had done nothing with it, but because I called, they would now send it to me within a week.

I called Bellco again on March 8 and March 11, 2022. I spoke with a woman who told me they sent a request to the appropriate department to send me my title and that I would receive it in around a month. I went to a Bellco branch on 8th and Colorado to close out my account, and they looked up where my title was and said it had been sent to the appropriate department.

On April 11, 2022, I called Bellco to find out the status of my title. The woman informed me that they have to send me a paper that I need to bring to the department in question to get my title. At this point, I have completely lost trust in Bellco, and I am adamant about receiving my car title.

Bellco Credit Union I have been trying to get a hold of Bellco's credit department for literally the last 6 months and I cannot get ahold of anyone

I have been trying to get a hold of Bellco's credit department for literally the last 6 months and I cannot get ahold of anyone. I was able to talk someone at one of the local branches, but they said I had to call the corporate number and that they couldn't help me. The automated system tells you to email them for disputes, but I have NEVER gotten a response. I am considering court action at this point because I don't understand how a financial institution can be this unresponsive and just not interact with it's clients. I emailed them in June , and got an automated response back saying someone will get back to me in 30 days (Reference #*** by the way). After 30 days, no response, so I emailed back asking for any updates. I kept emailing. No response at all. I even tried a different email address to see if it was something to do with my email. Still nothing. Below is my original issue that I would like resolved: On March 18, I paid off my credit card in full. However it looks like there may have been an interest charge or something that got tacked on after I had paid, however I was unaware of this. I got a late fee of $1.33 in May, bringing my total owed to $2.66. I had auto-pay on, but somehow the $2.66 was returned? I didn't even realize this until June, when I called because my card wasn't able to be used. I didn't get any mail, phone calls, or emails about this. The representative told me that it was an "insignificant amount" which is why I hadn't been contacted. I got a credit report alert saying that Bellco had reported this missed payment to the credit bureaus over this small charge. This shows up as a bad mark on both my and my cosigners otherwise perfect repayment history. I do not feel $3 should've had the impact it did, especially since I didn't get contacted, and I'd really like it removed.

On Tuesday, November 16, I paid for my car payment on Bellco's website but was charged twice due to a technical error on their website. The error stated the payment did not go through and to try again later. I proceeded to do that but quickly learned the payment did go through and was charged twice. Bellco failed to resolve this issue or take it seriously. ***; I do not have income at the moment. They wiped out my bank account and I cannot even buy food. I contacted my bank and they will refund me within several business days, but the problem is I now have no money for food. This is unacceptable on Bellco's end. They have not returned my calls nor have they even sent a follow-up email. They need to be prosecuted for this behavior.

It's been over 60 days to get a lien release. On Nov. 10 I paid off my auto loan. I have not received my lien release form. I've called them 5 times now. Each was given an excuse. I asked them to mail it to me. They did anyway. End of December I called back to see where it was. It got sent back them and they didn't let me know. I asked it to be FedExed to me. They said okay. Nothing happened. I called on Jan 7 and they said they accidentally mailed it. I spoke to them on Wednesday, Jan 12 and they apologized again and said it would be overnighted to me. It's Thursday night and it's not here.

Bellco Credit Union I called in to Bellco Credit Union on the 28th of February to make my car payment like I do all the time over the phone

I called in to Bellco Credit Union on the 28th of February to make my car payment like I do all the time over the phone. I gave the agent my Visa card infomation to make the payment like I always do and the agent charged me 3 times which completely cleaned out my checking account. I told them that I need my money back because I have bills to pay besides my car payment. The agent transferred me over to a manager after about 30 minutes pleading with the agent not to hang up on me. Once the manager got on the line she explained that they did make a mistake and that they would refund 2 of the payments back to my Bellco savings account but the third payment they could not send to my savings account because the agent that I talked with before I talked to the manager had already ran a card refund back to my visa debt card that the manager could not stop and that I would have to wait at least 7 business days to receive that refund back on my walmart visa debt money card. Well its going almost on two weeks and I have yet to see the refund which I plan on paying my car payment with that I was trying to do from the very beginning. I tried calling today on march 10th and now they asking for bank statments which makes no sense because when I got off the phone with the manager she said that the payment should show back in my account after 7 days. Now they are saying that a specialist should get back to me in the next 48 hours but I don't believe them. I even said why did they just take the last payment that they owe me and just apply it to my account since I was using it to pay my car payment until they screwed up and charged me 3 times. They either need to give me my money back ASAP or apply the money to my account becouse now my credit is getting ding over there mistake. Please help me My contact number not sure where else to go too.

Bellco Credit Union I have a mortgage with Bellco Credit Union, the payment is due on the first of the month

I have a mortgage with Bellco Credit Union, the payment is due on the first of the month. To ensure the payment is made on time, I scheduled a payment within my Bellco account to pay the mortgage. For the month of November, the scheduled payment was not processed by Bellco. Due to this, I was sent a Right To Cure Default letter, dated 11/16 and was also charged a Late Charge Assessment of $83.04. Again, these actions were taken by Bellco because my scheduled payment was not processed by Bellco. I believe my payment of $2,193.26 was not processed on 11/1 because the payment amount changed and the current scheduled payment is for the previous amount. The payment of $2,193.26 was available to be applied to the mortgage. However, instead of processing the appropriate amount, the work flow in this situation is to send me a letter from the Collections Department and charge the mortgage account the amount of $83.04. I have scheduled payment with a number of companies (e.g. ***, ***, ***, ***, ***) and none of them have a problem a) setting up automatic payment system which pays them the appropriate amount and b) processing the payment even if the amount changes periodically. I understand the Bellco Collections Department has valued employees which need to work, however, a better business model would be to do what almost any other business does and process the payment for the required amount. The company with my most significant loan (i.e. mortgage) is unable to do this and the company with my most insignificant loan does it all the time. There are cars which can drive themselves but Bellco cannot process a payment due to a $136.79 increase in the amount. But maybe they can and they make more money by letting the payment be late. Bellco was able to recalculate the projected escrow amount and update the payment amount, but not adjust the schedule payment.

Bellco Credit Union I have had multiple auto loans through BELLCO, equaling over $50,000+ over 8+ years

I have had multiple auto loans through BELLCO, equaling over $50,000+ over 8+ years. I have not one time had any delinquent payments with BELLCO or any lender for that matter. I have or should say "had" a perfect credit score until this issue. In February I made my final payment on the only active auto loan I had with BELLCO. After this payment was made, I was able to see that it said I had a $0.00 balance...GREAT! I was finally done. Logged out of my account and went on my merry way... Until... 2 full months later... I receive a letter of delinquency in the mail. I log back into my account and can clearly see where I paid the account down to $0.00 but then days later, the system just adds $80 or so dollars to my account saying I owe a remaining $80 bucks. Obviously I had no idea this would happen and had no plans to log back into an account that shows me a $0.00 balance... I called the branch directly to resolve the issue and this is what I was told by the BELLCO employee on the phone after telling her this same story. She said, and I quote, "Oh, yea that happens all the time. People don't know but you cant actually make your full final payment online. It always happens." WHAT! YOU ACTUALLY KNOW YOUR SYSTEM IS SCREWED! I promptly paid my remaining $80 or so dollars over the phone and was promised that this would be corrected and taken off my credit reports. This has still not been corrected over 1 year later. Is this how you treat your customers who faithfully execute their end of the deal for 8+ years? But then because your payment system is knowingly flawed I have to have destroyed credit for the next 7 years?... I have screen shots of my account to fully verify my claims are 100% truth, and furthermore the BELLCO employee while on the phone with me when this all first happened confirmed that she could see this odd activity where the account goes down to $0.00 and then back up to $80.00...

12/28: Contacted Bellco to request that my name be changed on the title of my car loan that was still under their lien (due to court ordered name change). Initially told that they would get it taken care of.1/4/22: I was informed that there was paperwork to fill out in order for this to be processed that no one previously mentioned. *** (head of titles department) forwarded necessary forms to me via email. 1/8/22: My *** (also listed on title) went to their Thornton branch & filled out the documentation ourselves. Attempted to reach *** throughout that week to confirm receipt (as she requested I do in the email attached); she would not answer her phone or return my voicemails. Made multiple phone calls to their title department to no avail between 1/10 & 3/3/22.3/4/22: Finally reached representative, was told that the forms were "altered" & that they needed to be resubmitted. I had to call THEM for this to be sorted numerous times before coming to this conclusion. 3/14/22: We went AGAIN in person to fill out the necessary documentation & had them prepared by a Bellco Representative/Notary.3/16/22: informed that it was sent over to titles, & that my required $7.20 check would be processed by the end of the week.3/29/22: Check was still unprocessed; made a phone call to titles & was told AGAIN that it would be done by the end of the week. 4/9/22: Received email response that it was received [redundancy] 4/14/22: Called county motor vehicle & was informed that no such paperwork was ever submitted to them. Called Bellco where I was placed on hold for 30 mins, & when I finally reached someone I was hung up on. Called back & was placed on another hold for 30 more mins only to be given same runaround. I am beyond my frustration limit as this should not take nearly 4 months to submit let alone be kept out of the loop as much as I have been. I need this job to be completed ASAP as I cannot drive a vehicle with expired/incorrect registration

My Name is [Redacted]. I have had a truck loan since 2018 with a company called Bellco, account number [Redacted]. On 03/02/2022, I contacted them to refinance my truck for a lower payment. I spoke with a representative who agreed to initiate a refinance application and promised to follow up with a call or email, which never happened. Instead, I received online refinance papers, completed them, and sent them back. The following day, I was informed by Open Road that Bellco had sold my loan to them because it was in good standing. Now, I'm with a new company that has lowered my monthly payments by $100.00, but I'm being charged an additional $10,000 in interest, increasing my repayment to $35,000. I originally owed $21,000. Bellco's mistake has forced me to start over. The Bellco manager admitted the error and promised to investigate and contact me. My truck is a 2018 Dodge Journey. I believe Bellco should cover the $10,000 interest due to their error, especially since the new company has already paid the $22,000 payoff to Bellco. As a disabled 70-year-old veteran, I cannot afford to repay this amount. The Bellco manager acknowledged that this should never have happened and apologized for the oversight.

Bellco Credit Union On 12/31 I had Bellco convert my Jeep lease into a purchase to buy it out

On 12/31 I had Bellco convert my Jeep lease into a purchase to buy it out. Monthly I started getting harassing letters stating that Bellco needed info from me to get the Jeep registration processed & over to the state of WA. Every month I received that letter I called & was told they dont need anything & that they were backlogged due to Covid. Finally July 12th I was contacted by the *** in WA & said they had received the registration docs but 1 was missing, Proof of taxes paid during the lease. The *** called *** called Bellco to get the doc sent over. It never happened! Received a letter in Sept that the *** had returned my paperwork bc I failed to go in & register the Jeep when in fact I went in and spent 4 hours waiting in line to be told that Bellco never sent all the documents. I called & left msg for the title/reg *** for 3 weeks (starting Oct 4th when *** from the Bellco *** left me a VM) regarding this issue & no one called me back. Finally on Oct 26th I called & went to the general asst for loans *** & spoke with a woman who requested my docs to be sent back to the *** including the missing Proof of taxes Paid during the lease doc. She stated that I would be notified via email (2-3 bus days) when my request had been processed. Nov 3rd I still had not received notification so I called at 3pm pst, spoke to a woman and she suggested since an ongoing problem & that she would get me a mgr, spent 30 mins on hold, no one answered. Nov 4th 824am pst I called into the general loan line (prompts 2,3,4,3 when calling) & spoke with another woman who looked into my acct & said she would get this processed & someone would call when done. 951am pst I rcvd a call from a woman at Bellco ref the rejection letter & saying it was my fault that the Jeep was not registered, asked her to verify docs were being sent to dmv including missing doc, said yes. ***am pst rcvd call from man at Bellco telling me it was my fault, I asked for a mgr, none available

Bellco Credit Union I had a vehicle lease lone though them

I had a vehicle lease lone though them. My last month with the vehicle was through March . I had already sent in my last payment to them for that month. I started to receive threatening letters about how I owed $22,XXX and I needed to pay immediately or I would be taken to collections. I called them twice to get the letters to stop and both times they assured me nothing was going to happen just as long as I turned the vehicle in before April 1st. I ended up getting the vehicle turned in on March 21st. All that was left was to pay a disposition fee of $426.27 as stated in the contract. They said I would receive a letter letting me know how and when to pay. That letter never came. This morning I got an email saying I had a delinquent account hit to my credit score in my name from Bellco. I have never had a hit on my record for anything, not even one late payment. It dropped my credit score by 105 points! I spent all morning trying to get someone to tell me what happened and why. They said they sent out a letter on April 2nd letting me know I need to pay the disposition fee of $426.27. That is the letter that never came. It is now of writing this April 16th. In 12 days and with only 1 letter attempted they sent me to collections and dropped my credit score by 105 points. After talking to customer service they said the way to resolve is only by writing an email for disputing that hit. According to the nice lady on the phone, it is going to take over 30 days to even get started. I also was finally able to pay the disposition fee, but only after I called back 4 times as the first 3 people said that I owed $0. They told me they saw the note stating I owed them $22,xxx but it said I was 0 days in late payments so they had no idea what was going on. To summarize, I owed them $0 had 0 days of late payments and never received a letter they said I would get. For this, they sent me to collections and dropped my credit score by 105 points in the middle of a pandemic. If any company needs to have actions taken against them it is Bellco.

Bellco Credit Union Due to the Covid-19 pandemic my work flow has decreased

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic my work flow has decreased. I am a Healthcare worker and with everyone taking precautions over the virus it has been a huge impact on my work. I have fallen behind on my care payment and I reached out to Bellco about helping me out with my payments until things are able to get steady again. I was 2-3 months behind and I expressed to them that I was trying to catch up. Bellco closed my bank account with them on Nov 2,2020 with no notice, so when I went to the ATM to deposit money into my account to make my payment the ATM ate my card. I had to make an appointment to go inside. I went to my appointment inside with one of the bankers and he called and because my payments were behind their computer system automatically closed my checking account. I was told to make the payment and then wait a couple payments before I could open up another checking account. I then got the money to make a payment for my car. I went to Bellco's ATM and the ATM ate my card. I had to again make another appointment to go inside and get a new card. While inside the banker told me that it ate my card because there was no checking account linked to it, but the other banker I seen the week before said nothing about it. The banker printed me out an ATM only card and we tried it out to make sure it wasn't going to eat that card also. On Nov 25,2020 I made a payment to Bellco for my car payment. In December , I went to the ATM at Bello's location to deposit money into my account to make my car payment. Again the ATM ate my card. I immediately called Bellco after leaving the ATM and waited for over an hour for a customer rep to answer my call. No one every answered my called. I called again and hit the option for them to call me back. No call back. This was just a couple days again. This morning my car was repossessed. I have been on the phone waiting to speak to a customer rep for the past 1 1/2 hours. With the ATM eating my card and Bellco not returning or answering calls to there customers it has left me without a car. Bellco has no interest in working with anyone while the whole country is going through this pandemic. I want my car back and I want Bellco to learn how to better work with people who are now struggling because of this virus. Also not once did I receive any sort of letters from bellco about anything that all of the customer reps say they mail out.
