Broadband service and billing
Resp. Sir/madam,
Sub: complaint about bsnl broadband billing and service rules.
I am bsnl broadband subscriber from chandigarh with landline no. [protected]. I wish to draw your attention about the wrong bsnl broadband billing rules. I have subscribe for bsnl broadband on 5th march 2008 with plan ul-900 and it is activated about 10th march.
Before applying for the broadband service I have confirmed from the customer care of bsnl that there is no other hidden cost except monthly rent and monthly rent is charged only from the date of activation of broadband. I have also the names of the persons to whom I was confirmed but I will give the names only for the further actions.
But now when I got my bill with bill no. T070420082066437 it charged full 900 which is monthly rent. When I used to go to concerned person and asked they said that even if you apply before one day of our billing cycle which is 1 to 31 you will be charged full 900 for one day, which is absolutely wrong.
As a customer I am against of this rule and why should customer suffer for wrong commitment? You cannot charge full month rent for only one day service from the customer. There are also other isp’s like reliance, airtel, connect which charged customer only for the time they use there service.
Is it is correct to pay the full month rent even if you use the broadband only for one day?
It is requested to think why customer suffers for the wrong commitment from your side. I hope authority people will take necessary steps in favor of us. Please reply me on my e-mail address or contact me. Please reply as soon as possible. We shall be highly obliged for this and hoping for your sincere and kind cooperation.

I have BSNL connection No.[protected] and also Braodband Facilities on my phone in The month of March on Dated 0403.2008 I made request to shift my phone on my new Address But Till Now my phone is not installed on new address & I received a bill asking to deposite the amount of modem whereas I had already paid amount for Modem in Bill Dated 05.12.2007 Bill No. [protected] for an amount of Rs. 1403/- .
Please take legal action for Delay of this lapse.

I have BSNL connection No.[protected] in The month of June Dated on 03.06.2008 I made request to shift my phone on my new address but it has taken 2 months time to give the connection in my new address, atlast i had the connection that also WLL connection on 06/08/2008 after i received my first bill of amount Rs.443/- and last date for payment is 27/09/08 but i have paid the same on 20/09/08 i think that is my falut that i have paid early to BSNL. Very next day I shocked to know that my telephone connection is cut off from you people without any reason, WHY? were I am perfect in my payment all the time and this time I received the first bill from you people (Bopal branch) on 17th of this month and I have deposited the cheque on 20th of this month even- though the last date for the payment is 27th Sept. 2008. Please answer me for the disconnection without any reason, I am finding difficult without the phone.
I tried several times to call you people in the number [protected] but sorry to say there was no taker and I tried in 1500 number the result is same.

The problem faced by me is :
Unable to connect to BSNL broadband.Error message is 'error 678'.
BSNL broadband executive has come and checked the problem.He diagnosed the problem
to the condition of the underground cable, which needs to be replaced.
Subsequent to this visit the complaint has been closed by BSNL saying the problem is solved.
When I re complained again, without attending they closed the problem saying "the problem is with PC".
On my persevering with the complaint they have acknowledged at the local office that the cable has to be
changed and they will change the cable.
Subsequent followup have resulted only with they coming up with untenable
excuses.No work has been taken up.
As I kept following up they have now stopped taking the calls.
The concerned BSNL JE is one Mr Rajaraman.

The technician who attended the problem is Mr V S Rao.His WLL no is 040-[protected].
My complaint nos recorded in the system earlier are 13621, 13655, 13844..
My telephone comes under the Trimulgherry exchange of Secunderabad.
On further probing I find that my neighbours and others in this locality are facing similar problems
for the last eight months.
I was also informed that this cable changing is pending for quite sometime.
This reflects the callous attitude of BSNL to its subscribers.
I consider that their negligence is nothing short of criminal attitude.

The dataone connection given by BSNL is not working. since the date of modem given to me the BSNL DataOne people have not at all responding to me or my phone calls. They say that they dont have any service personnel to attend the Broad band connection problems. They simply give a modem and some accessories and a password and username there ends the matter. No matter the connection is working or not they charge everymonth as per the plan. They give reckless answers to customers. They dont even say how to lodge a complaint. This is the state of affiars of BSNL DataOne. How to solve my problem? Except to cancel my account?
After I applied to BSNL for broadband connection, i got it after 6 month. after getting the connection, it didnt worked for 15 days. no one came for help. after i got it solved it by another proffesional, now bsnl is not giving me the email id and password for checking my usage rate. 1957 is the number where 24x7 it is engaged. the employees of BSNL says foul words if we ask them to solve the problem. BSNL should be urgently given to any private player.
I had applied for BSNL Broadband in June 2007 - ONLINE. To my surprise with in next 10 days BSNL linemen came and fixed Landline. On asking about Broadband they stated itll be given in next one month or so (they asked 100 rs as "khrcha pani" which i gave). Initialy for 10 days this connection([protected]) was working and then it went dead. From then on im dying to here ringtone in that dead receiver. I thought BSNL guys will set it right once they will come to provide Broadband. My waiting period kept on increasing and when it reached about 2 months and i received my bill i thought its high time to start following BSNL. I called up their call center at number given in bill...it was engaged. I wrote complaint through net...nothing happened. I kept on getting billes every 2 months with increases amount though phone was dead.Then i could locate BSNL offic`e in my area (Avalahalli) and there i met Mr Kumaraswamy JTO, Avalahalli. He asked me to give a letter for reconnection and initial amount and he will ensure to get other amount waive off and give life to connection. i did the same. paid amopunt too. But nothing happened. Again i went to mr Kumaraswamy for update. he said-its government office it will take time. I got to know noting is going to happen and i wrote a mail to which was mentioned in BSNL Website. After this i got a call regarding confirming my complaint. A few days after this i got call from Avalahalli office stating i need to pay due amount and connection will be given. Now the question is when i havent used phone why should i pay? This has been a long trail for me and unnecessary headache which im bearing since last June.
Since 3 months broad band at our home is not working.We have given complaint twice through the call center, they provided us 2 diffrent complaint numbers.Whenever we call back & ask them about the status by specifing the complaint number they try to give us new complaint number & will give sick reasons for not attending the complaint otherwise they will put on hold for nearly 1 hr after attending the call.
Internet disconnect any time & connect after 2 hrs or 3 hrs. if we complaint no answer. if reason is questioned no body capable to give the reason.
My broadband is not working properly. that means if internet is connected then with i few minutes it disconnected and it happpens continuesly for more than a week. i am totaly rely on internet for my job and so i am sufferred a lot. automatic disconection and someday whole night internet is not functioning...
The internet connection which is provided to me is of speed around 2 mbps but from last month speed is hanging near 90 kbps-100 kbps and if you talk about download speed which was very fast earlier now it is around 2 kbps-5 kbps...
My broadband connection is getting out frequently, server not found error is existing for along time frequent complaints were made and no response The equipment and accessories are working normal. Getting vague and irritating replays from BSNL OFFICE.
I had applied for Internet connection on 31 march 2008. They installed my modem on 11 april, but the password they provided is not working till date. I contact everyone i could, but all in vain & now i am fedup of all this.

BSNL EVDO Card software problem
I bought a BSNL EVDO Card for internet connection on March 1st. From that day device has some problem, its not working. when i reported the problem to BSNL Hebbagudi office, they told they will forward the device to Bangalore Head office to fix some software problem. When I went to BSNL office for more than 15 times to collect my device, "wait for 2 more days" is the reply I got from them. I am struggling to get replacement or my device back in working condition for more than a month. Still, not able to get any proper response from BSNL. This is why people are not like to get government services. I have realized it with a cost of 1500.

Yes, This person is Right because When we must to need the internet and that particular time evdo card does not connect to internet. And most imortant thing is if the Government department and the Officers are not able to give the common and regular service to the people so why they launch this tyoe service of Cards afterall first taka a trainning from government to run it and then come with your poor product.

Blocking of prepaid SIM
I lost my phone which had a BSNL prepaid connection. I called up customer care to find out the procedure for cancellation and subsequent replacement of SIM card. They told me that I would have to get a police complaint and a fax to a particular number stating my connection details for cancellation. I went and got the complaint and faxed the details to BSNL. I subsequently called up customer care who stated that their system was non-functional at the time and to call later. The next day when I called again, they stated that they had not received the fax (though I had got the fax tone before sending and had a transmission verification report). I resent the details only to hear again from them that they had not received the fax. During this time, my phone was still active and someone was utilizing whatever talktime I had.
Other providers would let you block the SIM over the phone and have a simple procedure (without Police complaint) to get a replacement.

I had the same issue as the above. For me it did not work for months. They would always promise to restore it soon but failed to do it every time.
I was an MBA student too and internet was a necessity for my project work. I had to keep the connection with the hope it would get restored soon and i could work on my project. I have not activate sms pack with 200 sms on dt.11 JULY 2011 but i have received a message from bsnl on my mobile no [protected] that sms pack with 200sms credited in my mobile and twenty two rupees has been deducted from my main balance on dt 11/7/2011 against sms scheme wrongly.
Kindly stop the sms pack scheme imidiately on my no [protected] and refund the amount deducted from my balance against sms pack scheme and inform to me regarding the same, otherwise i will complain in consumer form.

caller tune purchased but not activated, repeated complaints at helpline does not help
i successfully purchased caller tune code 600110 on 21.02.2008 but not activated till date although charged. i am complaining daily to helpline [protected] without any result so far. according to their advice, i tried to purchase the same tune through sms at 56700 on 05.03.2008 and got a reply that it can not be reallotted since it has already boeen subscribed on 21.02.2008! according to the advice of helpline, i purchased another caller tune code 600113 on 05.03.2008. an sms congratulated me for purchase of the tune but surprisingly again it has not been activated!I want my caller tune activated or the whole amount of money charged against purchase of the tunes may please be refunded.

I am shifting the land line conection from poojappura to punnamoodu.In poojappura the rent is 360/- month,but in punnamoodu the rent is 220/-month.But the next moth of the shifting period the bill shows the rent is 360/-month,but ponnamoodu is in panchayathu.I go several times in Balaramapuram to diduct the amout from 360/- to 220/-.I am sending one written letter to the above office. Two times the foolish lady said that the complaint is given to Pattom office.I go there then the concerned person of the Pattom office said that the complaint is given to the Balaramapuram office itself.
Iagain come to Balaramapuram office then she said that with in one weak the problem solved.But my recent bill again showes 360/- rent.I again paid the bill amt on 26/02/2008.(Bill no:[protected]) amt of the bill is 449/-. On 29/02/2008, I again go to Balaramapuram section,she scroled me & shouted me ,she did not know nothing about the problem & you do any thing what ever you can.

Unwanted Caller Tune
On 11 Feb 08I suddenly found that there was an obnoxious caller tune on my phone. On checking with the customer service, I was told that it was free and so I should be happy about it. After finally losing my temper, I was asked to send an sms and that it would be removed in 24 hours. I send the sms, and got a reply saying " Your request has been received. The BSNL tunes will be deactivated on your phone within 24 hours. This was received at 03:32:12 on 12 Feb 08. But the tune continued to be there. I rang up the customer service again and they insisted that it was free so I should not complain. after repeated calls, they gave me a complaint number [protected]. I subsequently got an sms saying that my complaint has been cleared at 09:49:35 on 16/02/2008. The caller tune continued to be there and I continued to call. Again on 20 Feb, at 17:39:31, i get another sms saying that my subsequent complaint no. [protected] has been cleared at 12:13:47 on 20/02/2008. The unfortunate part is that I am still saddled with the obnoxious tune on my phone.

Dear sir,
We would like to bring it to your kind notice that since July 22, 2017 our telephone bearing no: [protected], installed at our residence (Address given below) is lying dead. We have already many times registered complaint and burble/Telecom discussed with Incharge Khandouli Telecom office, SDO-Khandouli for the same, however it is still not working.
We would also like to bring to your kind notice that for long time we are facing following problems
1. Distance Between pole and telephone set: This is more than approximately 200 meter, drop wire cross three high tension electric lines. This is dangerous at any instance. So please approve 5 pairs cable for the same distance.
2. Incoming Line Showing Busy Tone: Whenever caller makes a call at our no., he gets a busy tone, even when the phone is free and is not in use.
3. Disturbance in Outgoing line: Outgoing line, whenever used, is having disturbance and the voice of the person on the other side of the line is not clear.
You are requested to look into the matter and arrange for rectification of the same and cancel the rent charges during period July to as rectify the problem.

The land line with number [protected] is dead most of the time. Whenever I try to call this number there is no response or hear some other phone conversations or some times simply ringing. This phone belongs to my father K.S. Anantharamaiah at Sannapulicote/Ayengeri village in Kodagu District (Karnataka state). The above said service provider collects the bill regularly without proper service. My father says complaining has no use and the officials do not bother about setting it right. It is happening for the last 3-4 years. Further, he gets bills for calls which he did not make. He is aged (above 90) and finds it very difficult to manage without this service. Ironically, the phones in nearby homes work properly. I do not know whether it is because the operator is doing this intentionally for some favors.
