Deceptive Listing on Bid2Buy.ca: My Disappointing Experience with a Tiffany Antique
Let me tell you something about Bid2Buy.ca, it's a website where you can bid on items and buy them online. But, let me tell you, I had a bad experience with this website. I saw a listing for a Tiffany Antique, but when I received the item, it was just a plastic decorative piece with a sticker on it. Can you believe that? The seller used the sticker to deceive buyers into thinking it was a real antique. I tried to talk to the seller to resolve the issue, but they told me not to pick up the item after I paid for it. Can you imagine that? I had to go to the Fraud department to get my money back. This seller has no shame for not taking responsibility for their misleading listing. They even told me to come to the open house to see the item before bidding. But, why should I trust them when they lie on their listings? I'm so disappointed that I lost my trust in this website and the seller. I used to spend a lot of money online, but now I'm hesitant to buy anything from Bid2Buy.ca.
Misleading Item Descriptions on Bid2Buy.ca - My Experience
Hey there, I recently had an experience with Bid2Buy.ca and I have to say, I'm not too impressed. I was bidding on three items that were all listed as "Framed by Carvers and Gilders" and I was excited to potentially win them. However, when I received the items, I noticed that none of them were actually framed by Carvers and Gilders. I reached out to the seller, Pauline, and she told me that I shouldn't believe her even though all three items had the same description.
I was pretty frustrated with this response, especially since I often bid on multiple auctions at once and rely on accurate descriptions to make my decisions. I even reached out to Carvers and Gilders directly to confirm the information, which took a while due to their high volume of emails.
Pauline eventually agreed to refund my money, but it was a bit of a hassle and I had to involve the OPP Fraud department to get things sorted out. It would have been much easier if she had just been upfront with me from the beginning.
Overall, I'm not sure if I would use Bid2Buy.ca again in the future. While I appreciate the convenience of online auctions, I need to be able to trust the sellers and their descriptions. Hopefully, they can improve their accuracy and communication in the future.
Unprofessional Seller on Bid2Buy.ca: A Warning to Others
I recently had my first experience with Bid2Buy.ca and won a bid for three small scatter rugs. Unfortunately, on the day of pick up, I came down with the flu and had to arrange for my niece to pick up the rugs. The seller called me at 12:15 on Saturday, asking where I was. I explained my situation and told him my niece would be there before the 2:00 pick up time listed on the site. However, he became very angry and threatened to throw the rugs in the dumpster if I wasn't there by 1:00. He used some choice words that were very unprofessional.
After this unpleasant encounter, I decided to contact the seller by email to arrange a different pick up time. He suggested Easter Sunday at 10:30, but I explained that I would be attending church and offered to pick up the rugs on any other day. However, he then lied to me and claimed that the next auction was not at the same location, even though all the online pictures and pick up location were the same. He also threatened to throw me out if I went there.
I am very disappointed with my experience with Bid2Buy.ca and this seller in particular. I lost out on the rugs and the $400 I paid for them, and I am now afraid to do business with this seller again. I strongly advise others to avoid this site and this seller, as they are very unprofessional and unpleasant to deal with.
Disappointing Experience with Bid2Buy.ca: Poor Customer Service and Communication
I recently had an experience with Bid2Buy.ca that left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I participated in an auction that ended on April 20, 2022, and was scheduled to pick up my item on April 21. However, due to some people I volunteer with testing positive for COVID, I had to self-isolate. Although I never tested positive myself, I felt unwell for much of May.
In May, I registered for another Bid2Buy auction and left a note for the auctioneer that if I won, I would like to pick up my earlier item at the same time. Unfortunately, I received no response, so I stopped bidding.
Fast forward to another auction ending on June 8. I emailed Buck to arrange pickup of my earlier item, as well as any items I won in this auction. However, he told me that he didn't have it and that I should have picked it up earlier. I was surprised to find my item listed in the forthcoming auction, so I wrote to him again and pointed out that he did, in fact, have my item. I wanted to pick it up when I picked up the items that I was leading bidder on.
However, the next time I checked, I found that my bids on those two items had been "Declined". When the auction closed, the winning bids on both items were little more than half of my maximum bids. I felt like Buck had done me out of my earlier purchase and shortchanged two additional auction clients. It was not a great experience.
I have participated in online auctions for three years, and this is the only auction company that I have had a problem with. I hope that Bid2Buy.ca can improve their customer service and communication in the future.

Unprofessional and Rude Customer Service at Bid2Buy.ca - Not Recommended
So, I had a pretty bad experience with Bid2Buy.ca. I was supposed to pick up some items, but the weather was really bad and I couldn't make it. I got a call from a guy who was really rude and angry with me. I told him I would still pay for the items, but he didn't want to hear it. He told me not to bother and not to go on his site anymore. I was really surprised by his behavior. I didn't know people could be so angry at the world, lol.
Honestly, I wouldn't recommend using Bid2Buy.ca. If this is how they treat their customers, it's not worth it. The guy who called me was really unprofessional and rude. I wouldn't want to support a business like that. If you're looking for an online auction site, there are plenty of other options out there. Don't waste your time with this nonsense.
Oh, and by the way, the guy who called me was using the phone number ***849. Just in case you were wondering. I would give Bid2Buy.ca less than one star if I could. That's how bad my experience was.
Horrible Customer Service at Bid2Buy.ca: Rude and Arrogant Auctioneer
I gotta say, my experience with Bid2Buy.ca was not the best. I mean, I've been around the block a few times when it comes to auctions, but I've never encountered someone so rude and arrogant in my life. Whoever's in charge of this place seriously needs to work on their people skills. I mean, come on, it's not rocket science.
I've been dealing with auctioneers for over 40 years, and I've never met someone so unpleasant to deal with. This guy was just plain nasty. I wouldn't wish him on my worst enemy. If you're thinking of consigning or buying from an auction, I'd strongly advise you to steer clear of Bid2Buy.ca. Trust me, you don't want to deal with this guy. He's just a horrible, horrible man.
Beware of Dishonest Auctioneer on Bid2Buy.ca: My Experience with Purchasing a Cracked Vase
Bid2Buy.ca is a website that I recently used to purchase an item through an auction. Unfortunately, my experience was not a positive one. I bid on a vase that looked great in the photos, but when I picked it up, I noticed that it had multiple cracks on one side. I was disappointed to find out that the auctioneer had not included this information in the description or photos.
I believe that the auctioneer purposely left out this important detail in order to scam and rip off people. It is not fair to sell broken items without disclosing their condition. I think that HIBID, the platform that Bid2Buy.ca operates on, should remove this auctioneer from their platform to prevent others from being scammed.
I want to warn all bidders to be careful when using Bid2Buy.ca. This auctioneer is dishonest and a scammer. Don't be fooled by the photos and descriptions, as they may not accurately represent the condition of the item. Always inspect the item thoroughly before making a purchase.
Overall, my experience with Bid2Buy.ca was not a good one. I hope that others can learn from my mistake and avoid being scammed by this auctioneer.

Unprofessional and Careless: My Experience with Bid2Buy.ca
I've bought stuff from Bid2Buy.ca a few times, but I'm done with them now. The vintage items I got were just shoved into boxes, all piled up and waiting for me to pick them up. I just bought three vintage race car tracks, but the boxes were all crushed on top of each other. The boxes were ruined, and some of the track parts were broken. It's like they don't care about the value of the items they're selling. They take sneaky pictures of the stuff they're selling, trying to hide the damage. But everything I bought was broken in some way. It's a really unprofessional business, and I wouldn't recommend wasting your money there.
Disappointing Customer Service Experience with Bid2Buy.ca
Bid2Buy.ca is a website that I recently used to purchase some items. Unfortunately, my experience with the owner/operator was not a positive one. I had requested that my items be shipped to me, but received an email stating that I would need to pick them up instead. I tried to contact the owner/operator via email four times over the course of four days, but received no response.
Feeling frustrated, I decided to dispute the charge and let the guy know what was going on. To my surprise, he responded within an hour! However, he seemed confused about the problem and promised to ship my items by the end of the week and charge my credit card.
Unfortunately, the guy did not follow through on his promise to ship my items. I was extremely disappointed with the unprofessionalism and terrible customer service I received from Bid2Buy.ca. I would not recommend wasting your time with this website.
