I have paid off my computer in full and waited over 90 days and still no rebate TV printer bundle package as promised every time i call them back just the same thing 2 to 4 weeks 2 to 6 weeks still nothing i am very mad right now i fill that i got scammed and that ill never see my 300 dollar rebate TV or printer i work hard for my money to turn around and get scammed like this I want my stuff.

BlueHippo scam artist

My mother law is now a Blue hippo customer and she is has a order for a Dell Intel Dual Core Processor E2180 that she is paying a total of $1, 943, 00 dollars total for a computer that has only 1GB of memory 160GB of hard drive . Those of you who have knowledge with computers THAT'S ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in memory all new computers require at least 2GB of memory and 500 GB of hardrive to run windows vista. It is time that we as the consumers fight back against this company and fight back. NOT only are we being taken advantage of but many of are story's are the same whats wrong with that equation. I am going to take action to call them out and submit my story to the TYRA Talk show many of us are hard working citizens who work very hard to provide for our children just to let some company with false advertisement take away our children's dreams. Blue hippo I'm calling you out you will be hearing from me make notice of that. STOP Selling cheap DELL computers. DELL what do you have to say these computers represent YOU!

I totally agree that this complaint is true since I am in the process of having a problem with Blue Hippo at the moment. They are ripping me off and refusing to set the record straight. I have filed a complaint with the BBC and am awaiting their investigation results and hoping that my money will be returned. I am angry and don't know where to turn and don't have the money to do anythng about it, so they have me over a barrel. We need to get the word out about Blue Hippo and do something about it. The more people who know about them, the less chance they have to do this to others.

So wait. You're angry because your mother in law bought a computer that wasn't worth it? How is that a scam? Was there any false advertisement? No. It sounds to me that your mother-in-law doesn't know a thing about computers and is shopping ignorantly. Perhaps she should invest in a computers course or take you shopping with her so that she can pick out some good deals. Just because she is a poor consumer doesn't mean that she got scammed.

BlueHippo blue hippo failed to cancel my order as directed within 24 hours of placement

I called to order a computer from Blue Hippo on 3/19/08. After reviewing info, I realized they still could not match my pay date with the every 2 weeks they wanted to take the money out of my account. I called back on the customer service line "George" gave me when I placed the order, [protected] on the 20th to cancel my order. I knew the person I spoke with was foreign and thought he was Indian, perhaps, like George. However, the man let me know that I would be forfeiting a lot of free gifts if I canceled my order. I told him that I get paid on the 1st and 16th and if they take the money out at any other time, it would jeopardize my account, so I'd thought about it and wanted to close my account.

The man said again how it is a wonderful package but I insisted I wanted to close the account. He told me that he would close the account.

Today, I received an email from Dell Computers, welcoming me into the company for buying one of their computers. I then decided to check with Blue Hippo to see if they canceled my order as they told me they would. When I called, I spoke with a lady who transferred me to someone else. He asked if he could help me and when I told him that I was calling to make sure they'd canceled my order on the 20th, he said that I did not call anyone in his division and that he would have been the one to close the account. He asked who it was that I'd spoken with and I told him I did not know but he had an accent and I thought he was Indian. He told me there are no Indians in his dept and I did not call, otherwise the call would have been transferred to him.

He was very, very rude and I asked if I could speak with his supervisor. He said there is no one higher than he is and that I'd not called his office before. I told him I had called but no one told me they could not cancel my order and that I needed to speak with someone else, so I assumed the account was closed because I'd spoken with customer services and canceled.

He said that the money is scheduled to be taken from my bank on Monday and I let him know that it should not be coming out of my account because I canceled within the 24-hour period. He then said there was nothing he could do. I let him know that there is something I could do, and I plan to contact my bank and stop payment on the check. He just got more irritated and yelled that he will cancel my account today!

I did not get his name either. I let my co-workers know how incredulous this situation was and they informed me that the company has a bad reputation. I was home when I placed the order, after hearing an advertisement on tv. I do not have internet access at home and my computer is old.

Anyway, I called back and spoke with "Ralph" and he told me that my account has been closed today. I asked him if he is Indian and he let me know that he is Hispanic. I asked him if he is the person I spoke with on the 20th but he denied this claim. He also let me know that the person who would have closed my account on the 20th would have been the account specialist. I asked what his name is and was given "Sergey". I asked if he is the highest person in rank, since he would not put me through to another manager, but said he is the highest person in the firm, Ralph put me on hold for a second or two, then came back and said, yes, he is the highest ranking person. Ralph reaffirmed that my account has been closed today.

I am worried that they will present the check to my bank before I have the opportunity to get to them, since I am at work.

This company failed to cancel my account within the 24 hour period when I called back to them. They either deliberately did not put me through and/or the person I spoke with

BlueHippo terrible customer service!

I first ordered my computer from blue hippo in November 2007, sent back the paperwork with the voided check. in February of 2008 I paid the remaining balance. It is now March 20, 2008 and I still have not received my computer. They told me last Monday that It should be at my house in 7-10 business days, tomorrow is the tenth business day and when I called, the foreigner told me it has not been shipped yet. They were quick to take the 1800 dollars out of my account but they are taking their sweet ### time shipping my stuff to me. I have been waiting now for a month, every time I call they tell me the same thing and have even hung up on me a couple of times. Every time I ask for management or a corporate phone number they tell me they don't have one and the management team does not speak directly to customers. what kind of ### is that? If anyone is researching this company, THEY ARE ### AND BY FAR THE WORST COMPANY EVER.

Dont get suckered into television spam. They're selling you a 20$ mp3 player, an offbrand television you can buy closeout for near 100$, an inkjet printer which is worth less than the ink replacements, and a computer/monitor you can buy off e*ay for near 100$.. there are other ways of rebulding your credit.. again dont get suckered into nonsense!

I agree to the complaint, they also got me for my money $1978. They had the nerve to say I couldn't have the free printer. I am ferious with this company ripping off people like this. Money is hard to come by for them to be running a scam on anyone in todays society. We have enough stress trying to keep up our bills.

I also was trying to get a computer, but they do not answer and say that you did not send paperwork that has been sent twice then debit for more than suppose to. It is definately a nightmare. I too wish I could drive there and see there corporation. I am contacting the Better Business Bureare.

they got me too ...I wish there was something or someone who could make a difference in this matter... The company is impossible to reach and they are lieing to people horribly Iv'e finally decided that I will never see my 124.00 again and it makes me want to cry to know that they've taken 1000's from others! Why are they still allowed to exist and why hasn't the BBB and the Federal Govornment shut them down? It is so frustrating to be violated this way by a corporation that claims to help people.

bluehippo is realy making me regret that i financed a loptop with them, they never answear the telephone for a costumer service its a shame for the U.S to have such a terrible companies as bluehippo i am realy desepointed, all i wanted is to cancel my accout and have my full made payments back because i could not afforde the amount of the loptop .

I canceled my order and have not been able to find anything on the web to order because they only give in store credit. So tell me where do you order products to get your money back?I have 7 kids and do not have $99.99 to give away. What do I do... Plz advise smb!

i write this comment with much regret as i have throughly revieved the many complaints from numerous consumers it is really sad to know with todays economy and the financial hardships many families as myself are facing that a company we all trusted has decieved us in order to gain riches as they have stolen from the poor.they accessed my banking account took my money and nothing was returned as i had honestly followed there protocal in cancellation.reasearching this on the web only confirmed what i believed in the beginning.i want my money returned and i had to cancel my banking and change in order to prevent further deception.i pray for all that has been betrayed and remeber god will prevail i will further pursue what needs to be done to get my money! god bless all we will win! contact #[protected] please feel free to contact me anytime my name is julie god bless and peace within to all!

I sent BlueHippo my first payment and seen on the internet that it was a scam. It scared me and I called them to cancel my order. I wanted my money back but they did not want to give me my money back and said, I can have credit. There was nothing they had for $99. So I didn't know what to do and I just let go of the money that I really didn't have to give away. I was supose to buy a computer for my children and should of never trusted BlueHippo.

I made the $99.00 payment and every payment of $69.00 bi-weekly after that until 01/23/10. I have no laptop or the other stuff that was proimsed to me. I was going to have this for my son to take to college with him. I'm a mom that has been sending children to college for over 12 years and that is not easy. I really thought this was the way to go be I was WRONG. Please send me my money so that I can get a laptop for my son. You can reach me @ zmomgo@yahoo.com Be a BIG company and do what you said you would do. If the little consumer didn't pay you would put they into defelt and get your money one way or another. Give us back what you took from us.

WHERE IS MY MONEY?
I paid the $124.00 to start the process of buying my computer and several monthly payments of $38.00. I have NOT recieved my computer, refund, or a contact number to learn the status of my computer and/or refund. I believe Blue Hippo knows what they are doing! This is not their first time doing tis I found out.
They are taking advantage of People that are having hardships! Some of us have bad credit or may just a part time job. As far as Myself I am a single parent trying to support and help my children get a education. Now I am out the money that they have charged me and having trouble with my bank account. I have to close d my account and opened a new one so they can not take anymore money.
They have filed chapter 7. well will any one get any of their money back. I have never cecieved any product from them. I called and cancelled and for my money back and they refused to cancel my account and has not refunded my money.
I am going to call the program that sent me to them and give them a ear full also. Just a chain of rip offs.

BlueHippo false advertisement!

I purchase a computer from Blue Hippo, I paid $99.00 activation fee, plus six weeks debit amount of 39.99 totaling $239.94. I also pay and extra six week debit amount of 39.99 before Blue Hippo sent my computer. The only thing that was shipped was a 17' color Monitor (monster size monitor) I was told it would be a flat monitor, Harddrive, speakers, keyboard and mouse, and a few softwares that did not equal the $700.00 dollars promised. I called and asked about the free flat screen LCD 20' color TV, color printer, and software games promised and they said that it will be shipped soon.

It has now been 11 months. Need to say I have canceled my account and stopped payments on this computer with cost $2337.50. I received a letter from a law firm Hosto,Buchan, P.L.L.C (Notice of Filing of Arbitration Award) to garnish my payroll for this computer with cost $500.00 at Walmart. I will be fighting this! By any means necessary!

Dell computer through bluehippo funding. i never received my computer after their promise to send it to me after making a certain amount of payments. so i kept calling asking them why i hadt received it, and being told time and time again that it would be shipped any day now. i eventually just told them to refund all the money i had paid so far which totals 300.00 they told me they wouldnt give me a refund. i kept calling and getting the same response. i never recieved my money back or my computer to this day.

Okay after reading all this horrible reports on Blue Hippo I am so furious. I am also a victim of Blue Hippo. On November of 2008 I opened an account with them, I was really happy thinking that 'oh this sounds great, I get to build a good credit and I'll receive a really cool laptop by making small biweekly payments'. Ok so that was november, months went by...and I started to get concerned because I hadn't received a computer so I gave then a call yet I was on hold for a really long amount of time, about 30 mins so I hung up. I tried again other days but same thing happened.

Ok so I thought to myself that I would just keep paying this biweekly payments of $69.98 and hopefully soon they would ship my computer...unfortunately I was sadly mistaken. Just about a month ago in march I called the order number (which is avaialbe 24/7, unlike the customer service number which is only available mon-fri from 9am-6pm eastern time, f***ing a-holes) and they answered RIGHT AWAY and well I told them that I was a current customer and that they never picked up and the F***ING IDIOT told me that: 'heh heh, oh wow very bizarre, here why dont you call this number? but dont do it now, wait 30 mins' but IT WAS THE SAME CRAP THEY NEVER PICKED UP.

Ok so just recently I spoke with my mother about what was happenign to me and she told me to just cancel the account and receive store credit since I already know they will not give refunds. I've paid this a-holes exactly 798 bucks which is pretty much 800 hard earned dollars! Ok just last morning before I head off to work I decided to call Blue Hippo, after about 25 mins they answered and I told the dude that I just wanted to cancel my account and he asked me why, I politely said 'Just because I cant afford spending 140 monthly dollars' and he said he was going to transder me over to some other department to cancel my account...

Okay after ANOTHER 25 mins a lady answered, I told her I wanted to cancel and she tried to stop me by saying 'but we are about to ship your computer next week' I said to myself 'oh how convinient to say that at this time...' but I still said SCREW IT and that I wanted to cancel it. She offered to lower my payment(which after reading all this reports from others, I sincerly doubt that she wouldve lowered my payment). So she said she had cancelled my account...

Ok so I went to work and after I got off I tried to order something from Blue Hippo and it said that my account was STILL ACTIVE! I was like what the heck is going on!? I got really paranoid and well customer service was closed already so now I have to wait until tomorrow to speak with them again! But now I read all this people saying that it took them several tries to actually get them to cancel their accounts. THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS! I am thinking of calling my bank tomorrow and explain them what is going on to see if they can stop this people from taking any more money out of my account.

After reading all this reports from others I am scared about receiving store credit too because I am afraid that I will not receive anything(besides I would need to send them a money order to pay for S&H and I just dont wanna send this people any more money!)

I am hoping to find someone that can help me because I want those 800 bucks back OR a computer or some darn good product from those a-holes because 800 dollars is a lot of people to just waste!

PLEASE PEOPLE DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY, THEY ONLY RIP PEOPLE OFF!

BLUE HIPPO TOOK OVER 2000, DOLLARS FROM ME OUT OF MY BANK ACCOUNT I HAD TO CHANGE THIS ACCOUNT TO MAKE THEM STOP. SO IF ANY ONE IS GOING TO TRY TO GET A COMPUTRE FROM THEM YOU WOULD BE BETTER OFF SAVING THE MONEY OR GOING TO RENT A CENTER!DONT LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU!

I bought a computer from blue hippo as well, they told me i would get a free all in one printer, copier, free 20 in.tv.and 300.00 rebate.I have called them so many times that it makes me sick.They have told me a different story every time I call.What they are doning is illegal;and someone needs to stop them ;so we all can get are money back.My computer cost me 2000.00 they rippted me off real good along with a lot of you others.The thing is too;that they are still advertisting the same lie on tv.When you call them, The only talk from anyone you get is that stupid recording. I have wasted a lot of time on the phone triewing ton work this out with them, but they don't want tofix them problem that very obbvious.What they want is for people
stop calling them, and for the most part that is what is happening and they are getting away with stealing.

I canceled my order berfore they even took the money out of my account. Then I find out they took the money out after the phone cancellation. I am going to the better bussiness bureau in my area they will hopefully be able to help me. I cancelled within seven days so I should get my money back.

i purchased acomputer from bluehippo .paid it off in feb.13 20008.ihave not receive the$300.00 rebate orflatpanel t.v or colorprinter or the complete software bundle. ipaid $2079.48 on time.

I followed the same Blue Hippo policy and ordered purchased a computer (17" Dell) from Blue Hippo. After initial $300.00 down payment wchich according them you receive the computer. They waited until over $1000.00 diduction from my account before sending the computer without the printer. I called them to complain that the computer came without the printer, they said that I will receive the printer when the receive a complete payment, an information I did not know. I had buy a printer for the computer. a couple months later I completed the payment which came to a total of $2, 175.00 Dollars. I called them to find out when they plan to send $300.00 rebate, Flat Screen Tv and the Color Printer. They said that I will receive all these things within 4 to 12 weeks. I waited for 4 months, I called them they said that I should another 2 to 4 weeks I waited another 2 months. I called them I was kept on hold for more than an hour only to be told that I have to wait another 2 to 4 weeks. It has been more 9 months since I paid off for the computer I still have not received the $300.00, Printer and Color Flat Screen Tv I am entitled.
This is a computer that worth $500.00 Dollars if I had purchased it directly from Dell Computer. To my regret I just found out that Dell computer have the same program so long as they keep the computer for the first three payments and it cost $535. 00 with color printer included.
