I been with bmg for sometime and I have referred them to my coworkers but now im disappointed in the company. It started out great! I always make my payments I never have ever stopped them so im loyal. The policy began changing this year and it started with the number of payments to refinance. It went from 4 payments to 10! Ok I can live with that being I should have more money paid out to me in a refinance... Nope! Now they go by your take home pay so they dont automatically increase your loan anymore so you could end up paying more a month than what you were paid out from the refinance.
Recommendation: they dont take loyalty into consideration so enter at your own risk

This was a very bad experience. I applied and it took me three hours to speak with someone about my application. When I did finally the nice guy said we just need proof of name change then I received a declined letter for insufficient income but I provided the income. So when I finaa ad lot reChed the employee he said he could not discuss my denial. He COULD NOT TELL ME WHY I WAS DECLINED. Very degrading after giving every bit of my personal info out.

BMG was right on the money. I have done business with them in the past when my Stove and Refridgerator went out on me. They were there to quickly approve me for the funds I needed. They were very professional and very efficient with the loan process. The only requirement for me was to have a Government job. I would do business with BMG anytime, and I'm glad to know I can count on them when I need them. I will definitely inform my co-workers. Thank you

This is my second loan with BMG money and I have no problems getting either of my loans approved and payment plan this time around is so much better than when I initially applied back in 2019. I definitely recommend BMG Money to all my colleagues.

I wanted to pay my loan off early and attempted to call numerous times on a variety of days/times, Each time/day I received an automated message stating they were experiencing a heavy volume of calls and would be subject to a wait of at least 10 minutes. This continued for *** minutes until I finally just gave up, which Im sure is what theyre counting on. Bottom line, they do NOT want people paying loans off early because its high rate interest money out of their pockets. Recommend you steer far away from BMG!

I was a little shocked to see the increase in refinancing from $4k to $5k, but hey, they haven't failed me yet, so it was ok. I know that after the final payment is rendered, I can say BMG Money was there for me with no hesitation. Also, whenever I have emailed them regarding a question about anything. Their timely response was unbelievable. I mean I literally hit send and refresh and they were responding. I'm not talking a generic message, I'm talking responding to my email in exactly what I was asking for. I am extremely grateful I found this company when I did...

I have been very pleased with this company. If you are a federal employee and need some help get it here. The terms are easy to understand and clear. How much your payments are, how many months to pay, and all other vital info is easy to see. A word of caution, though, and this is not on the company but to us borrowers...if you make the necessary payments on time BMG makes it very easy to get additional funds. Good for them, but because it is so easy you can get caught owing more than you intended. Still, everything is spelled out and you don't have to increase your amount. Also, there is not an overabundance of solicitation after you are a customer.

They are a great company but I applied for a refinance and because my mail goes to a different address they are denying me the refi. I provided documentation which proves my actual address. I have never been late or missed one payment. I guess I will raise my allot so that I can get the current loan over with. I am very disappointed being that I have always used two addresses ...this has been the case since I took out my first loan with them. So much for helping when one really could use the help. Or maybe they just didn't want to do the refi. Either way.. totally disappointed.

Its not a scam. But it can be kind of frustrating if and when you request more funding. I figured since they already have all of my information and they are receiving allotment pay it shouldnt be so hard. The first time they said I could get funds I took screenshots and it displayed all that was said I needed but they kept returning it so I ave up. This second time I just save a statement to a file and uploaded it. It was approved in minutes. So now that you know how to do it right the 1st time it wont be hard to do if you want to request more funds. Other than that 1 st annoyance it was a fast and easy process. The funds were deposited fast as well before 24 hours.

Came across this company during a Google search
Came across this company during a Google search. Super easy application process,extremely fast funding. Submitted application Wednesday afternoon, funds in bank account Thursday morning. I like the idea of how they start allotment one pay period before payment is due that way I'll always be at least 1 payment ahead. First payment is due Oct 29th, first allotment payment will be taken out Oct 15th. I highly recommend this company. Interest rates are in line with other lending companies. Linking your my pay account to their system will expedite application, but I couldn't get them to link. But turned out to be no big issue they have a super easy work around that expedites the application as well.

This company is unbelievable! As a person who struggled financially as a divorced, single parent, in school and working full-time, it was very difficult to afford much and many times I didn't have the money to keep up my credit score to a place where I could borrow money. I wish I had known about this company back then. Now, my finances are much better but in trying to establish and maintain good credit, paying on time with this company has increased my credit score by a lot more than I anticipated. I was suspicious at first, but now that I've been dealing with them for several months, I can see they are 100% legitimate. I love this business model! Of course, the interest rates are really high and I'll probably not take out another loan after the one I just refinanced, but I'm glad to know that a company like this is here to serve folks who may not have the ability to qualify for a bank or personal loan, but need money fast. My advice to those considering taking out a loan: make sure you pay on time and double the payment to pay it off sooner as quickly as you can, if it's possible for you to do. This is THE company for military retirees in a bad spot. The representative I worked with (Rudolph) was very professional and walked me through the whole process very quickly. The keys to this program are as follows: The interest rate is unbelievably low compared to other predatory lenders online. While the rate is high compared to a regular bank loan, online lenders tend to charge 300% or MUCH more for a quick loan, the rate I got was 35.52%. And with my bad credit rating, a regular bank loan is simply not possible. The low monthly payment schedule, other "payday" or internet lenders want hundreds of dollars a month, BMG's payments are a quarter of what I have normally seen. Which will allow me to catch up on other bills and get back into a positive income status. The amount they loaned me was much higher than I expected, and from what I was told, I will be able to refinance this loan at a higher amount after I've made several payments and they see that I am a trustworthy client. This will allow me to payoff my highest loan with the worst interest. That will truly be a huge savings in interest on that loan. All of these factors will hopefully result in my being able to pay off other online loans I've had to take because of tough circumstances, and refi them at BMG's rates and low payments. And with the ability to raise my loan limit as I progress with the company, then use that money to get rid of really bad loans, I should be able to get back control of my finances within the next year. Bottom line, for a military retiree with atrocious credit, if this program is what it seems to be, it will be the best way for me to regain my financial life. As a retired USAF MSGT/E-7, it looks like it is the way to go.

Hello, I have been applying for a bmg loan for over a year and have gotten denied every time because (its say length of employment I have been with my company for over 3 years and have provided all doc. That was requested of me, I even called the company today while I was in my hr. Dept my hr dept provided me my very 1st pay stub, I have sent it in as well as was requested from the agent on the line, I was told someone will call me back it's been almost a year and no one has called me back yet, and the crazy part is I have team members on my team who started our job after me and got there loan, the communcation is way off every time I call it's a different thing, I would like someone to really look at my application and they will see instead of keep denying, its unfair and call me back

I took out a loan unwisely in 2018 or 2019 with BHG, not sure of the exact date but I was told that after 4 yrs of paying on it that I could pay it off. I feel it should be illegal to not allow pay off and it is my belief this is a predatory company. That said, I did agree to it so that all the interest would be paid before I could pay it off. I see that my payment is coming out to another bank, Hometrust Bank. I have no information about who to call at this point. I never got any information about who they sold the loan to. I need to contact someone so I can pay the loan off asap. It is unprofessional that I have not received any information about this. I have learned my lesson and will not do business with a predatory lender ever again

BMG has now taken out double allotments 4 times from my account. Twice in June 2023 and twice September 2023. This most recent time occurred the same day they finally refunded me for the other three double payments they took from me. They are impossible to contact. Their chat representatives are unprofessional and rude. They also take 30 minutes to reach. Calling them results in 45 minute or longer wait times and then you can request a call back, which sometimes happens. And, I have emailed them 5 times in the past 3 days with NO responses to any emails regarding the $170 they stole from my personal checking, when they get paid via pay check allotments. They promised I would be refunded today and rushed me off the phone. I was never refunded. They did this before as well.
Desired outcome: $170 plus my interest rate or loan amount reduced. Interest rate should be below 20%.

Started loan process 6-21-22
Started loan process 6-21-22. Setup allotment agreement with my employer 6-22-22. Then setup allotment again through their website. Still was waiting for loan application status. Then on 6-25-22 my payment went to BMG Money, but I do not have a loan. Then I was told the payment was "no where" and would go back to my employer. NFC says, wrong they have the funds. Now I am getting the run around to get my money back. I have told them I am not interested in a loan anymore, just want my money back. I have attached emails between myself and the company, also proof of deposit to BMG Money. I am seeking my $95 returned to me.

I have used this company in the past with no issue. I applied for a loan on 8/6. On 8/9 I received an email saying I was denied because the employer I provided on the application doesnt match verified information. I immediately responded to the email and provided a picture of both my work ID and my medical insurance card to prove my employer. I asked for a response and havent received one. Ive called more times than I care to count and either get a message to hold for an answer underwriter which hangs up after 21 minutes, immediate voicemail, or sometimes an option to be called back due to high call volumes. I did receive 1 out of 3 callbacks requested but missed the call and no voicemail was left. *** tried getting a live agent through the bot chat and each time it says no representatives are available. This is beyond frustrating. I wouldnt have applied for a loan if it wasnt emergent.

I submitted a loan application with BMG Money. It was not approved, and I called to find out why. I spoke to *** who informed me that I had submitted fraudulent documents, which was not the case. I submitted my bank statement and a printout from my local *** branch which had my updated address on it. When I asked *** why she thought the document was fraudulent, she stated that she is a specialist, she would never give me a loan, and wouldn't tell me why she thought it was fraudulent because it might make me better for next time. She then disconnected and refused to discuss it with me. All of this could've been cleared up very easily by contacting my bank. The only option that was given to me was to email customer service. I asked several times for ***'s supervisor. After about 5 requests, *** finally said *** and disconnected. I called back to leave a message for ***, and was told that she is in a different department, and they couldn't get a message to her.

I had several accounts with this company. I recently refinanced my loan and when I took out it paid off the other loan. I have called over 11 times and tried to fix this and have them take it off from report its been then there since December . Every single time they say theyll look into it and put it up to high status. Nothing has been done in my credit report now has dropped because of them. Because it does not show that I paid off the other loan on my credit reports all three of them show that both are still open when there should only be one. I dont know what else to do I have talked with people for over three or four hours after waiting 30 minutes just to speak to someone each time. If you ask me initially I wouldve said yes to working with this company but they have caused my credit score to drop them because they are unable to report that they are our payments and payoffs that were made to them. I even got questioned are you sure you looked at your credit report. Yes I did Im not incompetent thats why I know I still have both loans out on there when there should only be one. The other one was paid off when I refinanced.

I have a Government Employee Loan through BMG Money
I have a Government Employee Loan through BMG Money. The loan requires that the payment be removed from my payroll before i receive my pay and has been removed from said payroll every month since the loan was acquired. BMG Money falsely reported that over a several month period that I did not make my required payments. I have contacted BMG Money concerning this issue on multiple occasions and have received no help whatsoever. This has severely impacted my credit score resulting in me not being able to refinance an insanely high interest Auto Loan as well as stopping me from potentially being able to obtain a loan to purchase a home. I am desperate for some sort of resolution and a correction to be sent to the credit bureaus. This has had a profound negative effect on my mental health and life as a whole. I don't know where to go from here. I have worked very hard over the last couple years to improve my credit and progress in life just to have a predatory high interest loan company destroy it with lies. As you can see on the uploaded document their payment is taken out at the payroll level. I have access to every payroll document for the last 5 and a half years if needed to prove that the payments were made on time.

July 2022 I opened an account with BMG money late 2021 and received a loan of $1000, I set the payments on ACH to be deducted from my account
July 2022 I opened an account with BMG money late 2021 and received a loan of $1000, I set the payments on ACH to be deducted from my account each month. Everything went well for the first few months until around April. My credit union, *** made an upgrade to their system and changed all accounts to start with a new 3 digit prefix. I called the credit union to asked if I was ok with my automatic payments as was assured I was fine. However, May payment sat in my account past the due date, I reached out to BMG Money and explained what changed and at the time went ahead and made a over the phone payment for the amount due of $95.00 at the time. After the payment was made an ACH ended up being made also from them for the same amount. I asked that the extra payment cover for *** and back on track for July 12...to this day, July 21, 2022, no payment has been taken out for July. Despite my repeated calls and long waits on hold no one can seem to figure out what the problem is. I keep getting promises that the issue is solved but nothing is changing. Right now after being on hold for over 20 mins I'm told someone will call me tomorrow with a solution. Needless to say , I'm not convinced. I know Complaintsboard.com would agree that this is no way to do business. I'm totally exhausted trying to get this matter resolved...Maybe you can help.

They have violated my rights. general Before the expiration of the 5-business-day period beginning on the date on which aconsumer reporting agencyreceives notice of a dispute from anyconsumeror aresellerin accordance with paragraph (1), the agency shall provide notification of the dispute to anypersonwho provided any item of information in dispute, at the address and in the manner established with theperson.The notice shall include all relevant information regarding the dispute that the agency has received from theconsumerorreseller.If, after any reinvestigation under paragraph (1) of any information disputed by aconsumer, an item of the information is found to be inaccurate or incomplete or cannot be verified, theconsumer reporting agencyshall(i)promptly delete that item of information from thefileof theconsumer, or modify that item of information, as appropriate, based on the results of the reinvestigation; and (ii)promptly notify the furnisher of that information that the information has been modified or deleted from thefileof theconsumer.(E)if an item of information disputed by aconsumeris found to be inaccurate or incomplete or cannot be verified after any reinvestigation under paragraph (1), for purposes of reporting to aconsumer reporting agencyonly, as appropriate, based on the results of the reinvestigation promptly(i)modify that item of information;(ii)delete that item of information; or (iii)permanently block the reporting of that item of information Also I didn't give this company written instructions to furnish anything under my consumer report.

I have been a consumer with this company for over a year now and fell ill twice this year with Covid 19
I have been a consumer with this company for over a year now and fell ill twice this year with Covid 19. I was told by the company all negative reporting for this matter would be removed from my report and I also provided documents. This has been going on since July . I have been going back and forth with them and continuously having them tell me that they have submitted things to have any and all late payments removed. That has not happened. As of late I have had to start looking for shelter for my kids and I do to losing everything in hurricane Ida. these derogatory marks are hindering me from being able to purchase anything. I have gotten back on my feet as far as payments and have been making large payments to stay ahead. I called in to make a payment and asked the rep was I good because i did not and could afford any late payments because of what I was already facing and she told me I was ok. Three days later received a notification that my score dropped again because of late payment. I called to ask why this is happening if I am making large payments to stay ahead. I was then informed that although I make large payments, I am still required to make a payment monthly or I will be received a late payment. This information is not documented anywhere neither do they inform you of this. Now not only am I having to deal with them updating the payments during the time I had covid, but also them not making their customers aware of their payment issue. My family and I are homeless and right at the end of being able to obtain a new home to start a new life and this company seems to be sucking the life out of me. I simply asking they hold their word and up date the credit bureaus as this is keeping me from closing on my home and providing shelter to my children. I should not have to keep calling them to honor what was told to me. This is hard enough having to rebuild with two children. this year was extremely rough for us all. I just want a place to call home.
