Complaint about the Taber Alberta manager. I ordered online for my friend, then she changed her mind so I called and cancelled the order. The manager called me back and insisted I come and pay for her food that she did not want. When I refused to pay for food that wasn't mine and that I didnt want he hung up on me and now put my name in plain sight at the front desk. The note he has reads " J***** W*** NO ORDER HERE" I feel incredibly disrespected as it was my right to cancel the order. Not only that but I have heard him yelling at waitresses while eating close by the kitchen. I spend alot of money and time at the Taber Boston Pizza location so I am a loyal customer. Please fix his attitude

I was eating at one of your restaurants in barrie on Saturday august 26th with 11 of our friends and family and because it was cold out 3 of our friends went to grab switters from there's homes near by and as soon as they left on of the workers came up and asked if they can seat 3 people at our table, we said we needed these seats as our friends were coming back. A couple minutes later he brings 3 people to our table... this is unacceptable to bring people to a table that's already beening used. Me and my girlfriend are very disappointed in this service usually when we both paid 20$ each just to eat there that day .

Hi I would just like to let you know I was at your location at 890 Warden Avenue in Scarborough to watch the pay per view on the 26th of August and had a rather bad experience. I'am in a wheelchair due to the fact that I have lost both legs below the knee due to illness. I went to use the washroom at around 11pm and when I got in there I was completely sick with what I seen. There was human was everywhere and vomit all over the toilet and floor not to mention there was no toilet paper and no lock on the door. I brought this up to my waitress and she was very nice polite and said they would have it clean in about 5 minutes. This was after the fact that I told someone else that worked there about this and was told they were to busy to do anything that I needed to talk ton my waitress. A short time later my waitress came back to tell me all was cleaned and I could go in and use the facility. When I got in there the place was spotless nice and clean just like the waitress said but there was no toilet paper in the stall and still no lock on the door. I went and got the toilet paper from the other stall beside me as they put 4 rolls in there when there i only 2 spots for paper. The floor was nice and clean but was covered in water and there was no sign that the floor was slippery or wet. I managed to get the door for the stall to close and not creep open but when I went to transfer from my wheelchair to the toilet the floor was so slippery that my wheelchair slid and flipped on its side causing me to hit the floor. I just recently had my leg removed (Aug 9th) and when I hit the floor I slammed both of my nubs off the floor causing extreme pain. I eventually got up to the toilet and did what I had to do but nobody should have to go through so much just to go to the bathroom. I just wanted to let you know that signs have to be put up if your going to mop the floor for peoples safety as well as the companies safety. You should also fix things when they are broken and on a night that there is a pay per view have someone check and make sure all bathrooms are clean and tidy and have everything they need to run smoothly. From this on mishap that I just experience I do not think that I will return due to the fact that when I brought this to someones attention I was blown off but when my friend brought it to their attention something was done. The only difference between myself and my friend is that he can walk. I am sorry I had to write this but you need to know that it is not ok to have bathrooms look so disgusting when you know you can had disabled people come in at any moment in time. If some one would like to talk to me about the and say that the bathroom on 890 Warden is all fixed up and perhaps just get an apology then I would return to any Boston Pizza in a heartbeat. I spent a lot of money in there on a meal for my friends and myself and would like to again.

no kitchen manager on duty (boston pizza drayton valley)
Have asked a server if theres a kitchen manager on duty as I was gonna complain something on my order and to my surprise theres no manager on duty and to think its a busy night that time and really no kitchen manager. I dont need an acting manager, or a cook suppose to be during busy nights manager should be present at all times to manage the kitchen.

Thought I'd bring it to your attention before going to the social media networks and bashing your corporate name as I am a victim of domestic violence in LGBT relationship with one of your management team members from the Canmore Alberta location and he will be going to court today for domestic violence, mischief causing damage and possesion of crack cocaine and the store owner Justin has went above and beyond in accomodateing this person and his questionable actions, the person in question is your kitchen manager Chett Chiassion who has done cocaine multiple times with his fellow workers in the upstairs offie while working and serving your guest while FOM title at the time, so I'm sure your customers would love to hear how your company is bending over backwards to house/accommodate a person who beats their partner and pushes down the stairs think should be public knowledge for sure, I also wonder how your sponsors will react and or think of this situation at hand when you say your against and do fu draiser for prevention programs for situation like this and now your company has been going out of its ways in accommodating an abusive coc head and keeping him employed with in your business while these kind of charges are at hand and could imagine the image and outlook people will have on BP after this I imagine this would have a ripple effect especially Canmore Alberta being so small maybe it will start a local boycott against your store here and what it stands for

My daughter, myself and my 3 grandchildren went to Innisfail today to go to an attraction there. Before leaving we decided to stop for something to eat as it was around 4:45 pm and we had a 2 hour drive to get home. We were seated by a very pleasant woman who explained we would probably end up with another waiter or waitress as it was almost shift change. We said no problem we understood that. We did indeed have a waitress who took our drink orders and our food selections. We received our drinks fairly quickly. At some point another waitress came over and said i am ignoring you. Our food came and that was the last time we saw our waitress. I had to ask a waiter to get a container for the left overs and the bill (he was not at all the person who had been helping us). He returned quickly and apologized saying that was the biggest container they had. I said that was fine. My daughter paid the bill on her debt account. I pulled out a $5 bill and handed it to the young man and said this is YOUR tip. I will not enter your establishment again in Innisfail. I can not believe an employee thought it was ok to ignore us. PS there were maybe 3 other tables including ours at the time. I embarrassed my daughter by pointing this out to the waiter. We spent $50 not including tip which my daughter gave her anyways, but she definitely did not deserve it. I want a refund

To start this off i'm going to address the fact that both these incidents are years apart and the most recent was last year and that i am only sending this because someone pointed out to me that it would be better if i told your company instead of trashing you at every opportunity for the rest of my life. The first incident occurred in sudbury 4 years ago when myself and 3 friends went for lunch. I ordered my steak well done and it was delivered barely rare so i had it sent back because at the time i preferred it well done. when it was brought back it was still rare. I absolutely hate complaining at restaurants because i have worked in them and know it to be annoying when food is sent back but i couldn't stomach the blood so i asked for it to be sent back again. when i received it again it was BURNT black. it had obviously been done maliciously. I spoke to the manager and he very condescendingly told me "if i couldn't stomach it that maybe i should go to a real steakhouse" i finished what i could and when we received our bills i was charged full price. when i said it was ridiculous i paid full price he said if i didn't pay the bill he would call the police.I obviously paid and left. the second incident occurred in victoria last summer when my friend, his 4 y/o daughter and i went for dinner. My friends daughter was tired and so we wanted to leave. there was no to go cups available for the rest of her chocolate milk and she wanted badly to take it with her. the manager (a young lady this time) said she couldn't take the plastic restaurant cup with her. i offered her 10$ for the cup just to spare us having a temper tantrum. She absolutely refused and after arguing with her and having several of the serving staff interject telling the manager to just let it go she refused. Not wanting to have this degrade to police being called we left with his daughter screaming. I am 28 years old and these are literally the only two horrible restaurant experiences i've ever had. i know these are old and that i am only one person but you should know that every time i'm with a group of people and we are looking for a place to go i refuse to allow the group to go to a boston pizza. I refuse to let it be ordered to any party i attend and i tell this story every time the word pizza is brought up. I realize this is a drop i. the bucket to your corporation but my friend raised a good appoint that i should at least inform you of this and see what you are willing to do to make amends. i would really like to hear back from someone. if you read this whole thing thank you for your time.
poor service - boycotting bp and now so are my business teams
I travel a lot and BP is often a stop of ours. I live near a Boston Pizza at Front and John in downtown Toronto, Canada.
I submitted a complaint online and received even worse service in response.
I called their head office twice and have yet to have anyone call me back.
I went to "my local Boston Pizza" to pick up my "Free" Gift after enjoying my birthday to find out that I wasn't entitled to my "Free" Gift because I hadn't spent enough money their to receive it.
The offer reads:

I can't find anyway that says that there is a minimum purchase required to attain my "Free" "Gift" for my Birthday.
Needless to say this obnoxiousness has cost them about half a million dollars, CDN, in business.
Oh well. Their loss.

deceptive advertising
I would like to point out a highly deceptive BP advertising poster that caused my guest and me to leave the restaurant and go elsewhere. The deceptive ad says "Dinner and a Movie - Dinner with a side of movie tickets." Starting at $18.99. This leads people to believe that dinner is for 2 people and tickets are included at that meal price or above. This was not the case. Luckily I asked in advance and was told that the tickets were an extra expense and the price was for one person. We left highly upset at almost being taken in and went elsewhere to eat. I can get seniors movie tickets at the price we were offered and lower. We saw it as BP was not offering any kind of meal deal and the ad simply lures people in and deceives them. Just advertise that theatre tickets can be bought when ordering a meal. Not this phony lure. This is a new BP in my area and I am highly disappointed at this tactic and will not be recommending anybody else to go to the restaurant, and will now have to warn them about such deceptive lures. It is difficult enough to avoid being scammed anymore and it is necessary to ask questions constantly to get the truth. This is the first time that I have come across this kind of situation and BP now falls into the lines of the scammers I have to watch. Please change the ad or just get rid of it. You are not offering any kind of deal.

I ordered the fettucine chicken mushroom Alfredo. I found a bug in my food when i mixed the pasta around. I called the location where ordered and ask to speak to a "manager". Sandra is the "manager" who answered my complaint. She was absolute rude and lacks all ability to have customer service. She refused to return my money back to me. She offered only to remake my food or offer a credit. She argued with me throughout our conversation. This hasnt been the first issue with this location. I have ordered before and found hair in my food. I was offered a pizza credit...there is no accountability for these actions. I am beyond disgusted with the latest find in my food but more so over the lack of concern on Sandra's part. I am reaching out to you for help since i didnt get any of that from that location. I have posted this to your FB page with the picture of my food.

Boston pizza employees being rude over Facebook due to people complaining about the service and food they received. The restaurant kick the people out when they are confronted of their rude and slow services, and try to blame it on the customer. We pay our hard earned money to eat there. And sorry, majority of us don't have time to 'stand on the tables' we have children to watch. Unfortunately this isn't the first time they've blamed customers. I would suggest checking video footage for future reference. It needs to be looked into and something needs to be done.
My family will not be returning to any of the Boston Pizza Locations until I'm aware that something was done.
Unfortunately this restaurant was a family favourite until this has happened on more than one occasion.

I came to Aimco branch in Mississauga and received the worst service from waiters here. I asked one got water she said "you're going to have to ask someone else" without even as much as a smile. We went again to ask for water and they again told us to wait. We are a group of 12 people and the restaurant is pretty much empty so this is unacceptable.
pizza - substandard
Ordered (our usual) L pepperoni to go this evening...we live 2 1/2 hours west of Calgary so cannot just go back and return the product. I asked for regular crust...photo attached...the pizza is so thin my nails are almost thicker! I called Dillon (Manager ) and explained...he said to ask for him next time to process the order...that won't work every time. EXTREMELY DISSAPPOINTED!...again! "Quality" is NOT consistent. Jim Treliving would not be impressed. Terrible!

I ordered pizza to delivered on June 3 @ 11:30pm and it came within half hour. I ordered two small one all meat with feta chesses add and that was for my husband and it was the worst pizza we have ever ate its was really spicy there was no chesses other then the feta and when you picked up a piece the toppings would fall off and when you would go to take a bite more topping were falling off making a mess all over my floor. I ordered the Boston royal with feta chesses added as well and the something you pick up a piece topping fell off no chesses except for the feta and it was like there was no pizza sauce. Both pizzas were grouse and had not taste and my husband was so mad and upset to the point that he said to me... "I'd rather eat garbage from dumpster then eat this slop". We throw both the pizza's in the garbage. We are both very disspointed and never wasting my money there again and the price is out rages for what you get and you don't get much except to throw you're money in the garbage literally, and what is really upsetting about this after moving all day we order food and really hungry and wanna eat before we lay down and finally relax. But instead we throw our dinner In the garbage and go to bed still hungry because we our very upset and mad after spending all that money. Honesty I wouldn't have feed that to my dog.
I am complaining about service
I was at the belvedere location in Edmonton on sun may 14 for a Mother's Day outing w my daughter who just had a baby and this was her first Mother's Day. When we arrived we told the server we only had one hr and then she would need to be leaving to go home and feed baby. They said no problem. We ordered a med pizza and salad. The restaurant was not busy and yet 45 min later no food still. The server had said she was checking on food 10 min prior yet at the 45 min mark when we asked again our pizza was not even cooking yet. I asked to speak to the mngr, she apologized and said they had been short handed w cooks out sick all aft. We were not informed of this at any time we were waiting and server knew we were on a time crunch! By this time my daughter is crying and upset and I am not happy! He mngr rushed off to get us comp desserts but threw them together without even asking what we would like. All in all a bad experience which should have never happened if we had been told the truth and given the option to stay or not. I cannot get that first time outing w my daughter as a new mother back and will not be going back to bp any time soon especially that location! Thankyou for your time, Bonnie walker
Also I might like to add because of this bad service my daughter started screaming and yelling because her baby kept crying, and the neighbours heard and called the police. They thought she was going to hurt the baby because she would not stop crying. They took the baby from my daughter's home and they are trying to find out who the father of the baby is and if he not willing to take care of the baby than the baby goes to foster care. None of this would have happened if they were honest with us in the first place. Unfortunately my daughter's impaired judgement was because she was drinking because of frustration.
gravy spilt everywhere
Yesterday I was at the Boston pizza in Airdrie AB Canada and we ordered delivery and we had an in incident. Yesterday we ordered delivery and the women came to our steps with the bag of food and my dad noticed that the gravy we ordered for the fries spilt, everywhere. It got into the pasta containers and drenched other containers full of pizza and chicken. We told the delivery lady that te gravy had spilt everywhere and she told us she would go back to Boston Pizza and get us more gravy and a certificate/gift card since all of our food was ruined and tasted awful! She later came back with two gravies and then she left she never said we couldn't get the certificates/gift cards she just left. I'm upset that I tipped her/your location 20 percent but that was before all of this happened and I'm very disappointed. I'm not sure if we will ever eat at Boston pizza again after this incident...

After having a group discussion while eating your pizzas, we have all agreed that BP's do not put enough toppings on for what one pays for. Disappointed. Especially with competition of other pizza restaurants that provide a substantial amount of pizza toppings for cheaper prices. Boston Pizza's menu alone is over priced. This isn't just a conversation of today but has been in discussion with many organisations that take teams for meals.

Tonight I walked into the restaurant to sit with my friends who had already got there drinks. I sat down and the waiter plus the Assistant Manager were there, saw me sit down at the table and I waited 1/2 hour before I got any service. The friends were mad as well as they were wanting refills on the drinks. The waiter finally shows up and was rude and like "you want something to eat?" in a rude voice. I was like well I did but looks like your waiting to serve me now that everyone is done, your attitude is rude and disrespectful. I'm just like no just water is fine. He sure didn't get any tip and the Manager just avoided us. She witnessed the whole thing. She never came and apologized for the late service, or offer a free beverage. She doesn't deserve her job and the waiter doesn't either. Was not happy at all.
I went to BP to meet up with my friends for some drinks and food. They were there when I arrived and as I sat down, I saw they were wanting drink refills along with (ketchup etc..) with there meals. We waited 25 minutes before we got anyone at the table. The evening manager even saw us but didn't come to the table to help us or even apologize to us for the long wait. The waiter finally comes over and asks "Do you need anything else?" Yes you could bring the ketchup for my burger that I asked for 30 mins ago. Than the other friend says "our friend here just arrived, maybe she would like a menu." The waiter was all snappy even after both him and the manager of the evening saw me arrive. I'm just furious at both BP staff and just asked for water at this point. They didn't deserve any money for me with the service I got.

We visited the Boston Pizza in Devon Alberta recently for wing night.
I ordered 1 order of wings and pizza bread with meat sauce. My girlfriend ordered Bandera pizza bread and a 6 ounce glass of wine which is 4 dollars before 6pm.
The waitress took the order and made mention that since we ordered 2 appetizers we could get any additional one for free except for wings because it was wing night. So I chose the dry ribs.
Everything came out ok and tasted good.
When the bill came we were charged for the dry ribs and they took the lesser charge of the wings off instead! I wouldn't of ordered the higher priced ribs if I would be charged for them anyways. Plus charged us 9 dollars for the wine which was supposed to be 4 dollars. We brought it to the waitress's attention. She said it was the way the computer is programmed. ? They ended up reducing the wine and gave me the cheaper pizza bread as the free appetizer. Still was charge for the higher priced ribs!
We would like to continue eating at Boston Pizza but are now are a little nervous ordering some free appetizer only to be charged for it in the end.

food quality / quality & offensive pictures in restaurant
This evening, I went to BP for an evening appetizer with my Mother and my daughter. We ordered Classic Nachos (although one of the menus was totally different from the other two), and Bandera Pizza Bread with a side of alfredo sauce. Once we sorted out the menu issue (two difference menu options), we were told two of the three menus were old and outdated, and we couldn't order from them. The "New Nachos" were no longer on the menu, just the "Classic."
Upon receiving the food, we noticed the pizza bread was noticeably smaller than the pizza bread ordered at any other BP (maybe 5 inches in diameter). We also noticed that on our entire (starter sized) nacho order, there was very little cheese, and perhaps 2 tablespoons of regular ground beef, not even nacho flavoured beef. We did complain to the waitress about the nachos, and she brought us out a small bowl of ground beef (no seasoning in it). The waitress was very friendly and apologetic, however after discussing my concerns with a circle of friends, I find out that many people are finding out that the quantity and quality of food at the Dauphin location just does not seem to be up to BP standards.
Years ago, I was a BP employee (server in both the restaurant and then in the sports bar), and am still a big fan of the restaurant. I know that BP takes pride in their reputation for over the top service and food quality and quantity. (I have to wonder how this location does on their "secret shoppers.")
One other complaint (sorry to be so negative)... when I was about to leave, I told the server that somebody has taped a picture on top of one of the restaurant pictures, and she may want to remove it, and that there is likely sticky tape residue on the picture frame. She told me that she was given strict orders by the owner / manager NOT REMOVE THE PICTURE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE, THAT IT IS A PICTURE OF INDIA'S GOD. In fact, she said that one of the staff members nearly lost their job for taking the picture down. I took a photo of the picture, as it was posted. I am sure BP would NOT authorize such a poor quality photo, favouring any specific religion, to be posted in such a nice and new store.
Upon receiving the bill, we were not offered a discount for the poor quality of food. On a scale of 1 - 10, our dining experience was a firm 3.
I will continue to attend other BP Restaurants, but my repeated horrible service and experience at the Dauphin, Manitoba, Canada location will have me questioning a return to that location.
