They continue to send unsolicited books and request payment for them. They sent a book in January 2025 then sent a bill for it. The book was addressed to my mom who died in September so there is no way possible a card or any other confirmation of intent to purchase was returned to them. They are wasting my time dealing with this. They scammed my mom out of about $200.00 by sending unrequested books and she paid for them because in her declining mental health she assumed she'd requested the books.
Claimed loss: time notifying them and the $200.00 my mom spent on their unsolicited books because she thought she ordered them.
Desired outcome: check for $200.00

same as others, they continue to send books. Somehow my elderly mom got in their sites and spent a couple hundred dollars with them before I got involved. I opened a BBB complaint on them in November because my mom died in September yet they sent a book in November. In response to the BBB complaint they stated they had a card from my mom where she requested the book. Not likely since the book was sent two months after her death. At best, at that time, they would have been incredibly slow in fulfilling what they claimed to be a request. Here it is January and they've sent yet ANOTHER book. Off to open another BBB complaint and contact the Attorney General.
