I purchased a 20 oz bag of Maple Nut Goodies.
They are hard as a rock. Terrible.
Normally I just love these. I am afraid to break a tooth. I have to throw them away.

I was wondering how I get a refund or just complain?

The whole product changed - texture, size, flavor and most of all the great feeling you got from the original recipe. Taking a bite would always take me back to my childhood and all those great memories! Please tell me that of all the things that have been thrown (or taken) away, changed, or forgotten in this world that you will not let this be one of them. I truly need this little taste of total recall of days past in my unimaginable future to help release the stress of now. This memory has passed through generations of mine and my husband's family with anticipated delight. And from what I see on your website there are many that agree with me. Please help!?!

Brach's is obviously buying this candy from another manufacturer, because it is the same inedible junk as I purchased from other companies. I just purchased "6 bags" assuming BRACH'S would have the ORIGINAL Maple Nut
Goodies. The product I received from Brach's direct is the same as Maple Nut Goodies I have purchased from other companies that are selling them under other labels... and THEY ARE NOT FIT TO EAT! My family has purchased these MAPLE NUT GOODIES for themselves as well as treats for the squirrels, who devoured them, as long as I can remember! Back to the 1970's?

Obviously, Brach's is not concerned with the success of this product or how terribly upset their customers are by this horrendous change in recipe, which is evidenced by the astronomical magnitude of complaints found on the internet regarding this issue.

I just learned that for health reasons I cannot eat the hard sugar candy I love
and must only have SUGAR FREE CANDY . After eating a couple bags of BRACHS SUGAR FREE HARD BUTTERSCOTCH CANDY, I found myself terribly ill for days. I do not have a receipt but the BRACHS BOX says it was shipped byBLUE MONSTER LLC, 500 Oak Ridge Rd., Hazle Township, PA [protected].

I have always loved and respected the quality and taste of BRACHS candy.
Can you please help me? I know each bag costs $1.98 plus shipping.

Also it was distributed by FERRARA CANDY COMPANY.

Our family has eaten maple nut goodies for generations and were a favorite stocking stuffer for old and young. It was a shame and a lost tradition when the nut goodies were changed by Brachs. Now they all taste stale and hard all the time. Boo! to Brachs for changing something that had been a treat for decades. At least offer a second product and don't eliminate the traditional nut goodie. Don't fix it if it ain't broke...

Very sad.

This package was purchased Friday May 21, 2021 at the Cracker Barrel restaurant on Mechanicsville Ave. in Richmond, VA at about 11 to 12 noon. It was a 20 oz package. When opened and tasted, it had an unusual taste as being old or stale. After checking the expiration date it was good until 12.20/21. However, it was not satisfactory for me to consume.

I was quite disappointed with this purchase. I used a gift card for the purchase and discarded the receipt. I don't remember the cost.

The package also claims "Freshness Guarantee"

to whom it may concern: Your change in the recipe of your maple nut goodies is truly unfortunate...I have loved them most of my life and they were a treat because they were a little pricey for the family I grew up in ...In 2015 or 2016 I found them at Menard's at a decent price so started buying them...several guys at work would ask for some when would bring them...alas, only six months or so after I discovered them, some brain trust at Brachs or whoever owns the brand now, decided to change what was a delicious chewy candy into a jaw breaking piece of crap that is inedible ...I will not purchase any more of your candy unless you change the recipe back...shame on ya..all I have to say...smh...Daniel Chaney

I was shocked when I got home and realized that the bag was only less than 1/2 full. So much for truth in packaging! Why not fit the packaging to the amount that is inside. Just wanted to let you know ow disappointed I was. I love your product but disappointed that I did not get twice as many eggs.

I bought the marshmallow bunnies for my grandchildren's Easter treat bags and the wrapper was sealed and there was not a marshmallow bunny in the wrapper.. My granddaughter who is 4 was very upset because now there was not enough for her classes treat bags.. We had to make second trip to store to purchase another box of 8 marshmallow bunny and then had too many.. It was a waste of money for just 1 marshmallow bunny. We just wanted to let you know this incident happened to us.. Thank you.. Barb Garbs

This bag needed quality control. It only had 1 green, 1 purple and tons of yellow and pink. I expected an assortment. It does not look very appealing in my candy dish, which is why I purchased them. The guests will be disappointed.

Just bought Black Jelly Birt Eggs in in Aitkin Mn at Paulbecks market absolutely no flavor. Absolutely no flavor. They are just black coating around a sugar middle - no flavor.

They are just black sugary yuk. I want my awesome licorice please.

Never had this happen before - hopefully we can find a remedy to the issue.

I bought 2 20 ounce bags of Maple Nut Goodies at Menards. They are very stale and hard as rocks. My family loves this candy. I would like 2 bags of FRESH ones in exchange and would love a way to order them so they are fresh. I paid $3.69 a bag x 2. I had bought 2 bags of Tiny Conversation Hearts 14 oz at Walmart. Yum! Nice & soft. I am 66 & went back to buy more. They were sold out. So went online with Walmart. Sold out. So went to Amazon. Found 4 bags for $12.99. Ordered them on February 5, 2021. Arrived... Terrible tasting, powdery, very hard, unable to eat. Says Best Buy JUN 2022 0330FTX228. Contacted Amazon to send me 4 more bags. Arrived... the very same came in the mail. What happened to the yummy ones from Walmart? I am very sad to have to write to you. All I wanted was the very simple candies from years past. NOT THESE 2 SIDED ONES.

I used to love the conversation heart candies! But the ones I bought today taste terrible. They are supposed to taste like fruit - banana, orange, grape, cherry and lemon, but they don't. They all taste terrible and one of them even tastes like soap to me. Why did you change a really good tasting candy like this? I do not want a replacement bag. I threw away most of the bag I bought today because they taste terrible.

They are horrible... Hard as a rock and they don't melt in your mouth. I almost cracked a tooth trying to eat them. They taste like cardboard, the flavors are horrible
Go back to the regular old fashioned kind that we all grew up on!
These would be horrible for little kids to try and eat!
I would like me money back!

I have purchased 2-20-OZ bags of Brach's Maple Nut Goodies. One of the bags was purchased the week of Christmas and the other bag was purchased on January 9, 2021. The expiration is 06/01/2021. The bag number is OX01BB183. I have bought both of the bags at the Cracker Barrell in Simpsonville, SC 29680. They have been very hard and not soft at all when we opened the bags, very disappointing. My father loves this candy, but did not want anymore after the first bag was so hard.
I would like 2 brand new bags that are fresh.

The last bag of peppermints had at least 30-40 mints that had no peppermint in them at all, they were pure sugar. I love peppermint & it helps me with my stomach. #0280VRX2061 best by 10/4/22. I was very disappointed in this problem. I could've bought store brand but went with Brach's thinking it was a better product. The UPC #[protected]. I since purchased your Big Bag 315 pieces. I don't know what they did the the conversation hearts but they are awful.

Bought 20 oz bag of maple nut goodies and they are extremely hard. They are dated July 7, 2021. They are very stale almost break a tooth when biting into them. These use to be my favorite but these are awful. It works be nice to have them replaced with a bag of fresh ones.

I just bought a 20 oz. bag of your Maple Nut Goodies. They are stale and hard. The taste is horrible. I checked the date on the bag and it is not expired and is deemed fresh until June. I was very surprised that the taste is just way off too. The outside tastes like butterscotch now and different texture. I am very dissatisfied with this product. What did you do? They are awful. Yuck.
