Bridgecrest Wrongful repossession

I scheduled an online bill pay with my bank Wisely on 4/10/23. Wisely said it was "successfully delivered on 4/11/23". My payment was due 4/20/23. Bridgecrest and I have gone back and forth almost everyday since 4/24/23 due to my payment not posting. They asked for my bank statement, I sent it to them, they did not accept it. On 5/17/23, when I got off work, my car was gone. I called the police and they said it was repossessed. To be a single mom with 3 kids dealing with anxiety and depression is difficult, they only added to it - and the amount of daily calling, emails, mail they send out is ridiculous especially when I paid my bill on time. I've missed 2 days of work because of this. This is my 3rd car with Bridgecrest, I had no problems before; but this will be my last car from them.

Recommendation: Only buy from them if you need to.

Bridgecrest Bridgecrest Review: A Nightmare Experience with Slow Processing and Poor Customer Service

I had a less than great experience with Bridgecrest, and I feel it's important to share my story with others so they know what to expect. My daughter and I cosigned for a car from DriveTime, with Bridgecrest as the bank. At first, everything seemed fine, although we were surprised to find out that payments were due every two weeks.

Unfortunately, things took a turn when the car was totaled and the insurance company sent a check just before Thanksgiving. Despite the fact that Bridgecrest was slow to process the insurance check, my daughter continued making payments. I reached out to Silverrock about the gap insurance and received emails from both Bridgecrest and Silverrock about the total loss being processed and the gap insurance being approved. This was on December 8th, 2021.

However, it wasn't until December 18th that Bridgecrest finally applied the insurance check to the account, leaving a balance of $1400 to be paid by the gap insurance. Then, on January 7th, I received a credit alert that my score had dropped 40 points thanks to a 30-day late report from Bridgecrest. I was extremely frustrated and called Silverrock about the gap insurance, only to be told that Bridgecrest had never sent over the paperwork for the disbursement of funds.

I then called Bridgecrest, who told me that the check amount and paperwork sent were different, making it impossible to process the gap insurance. However, they had never bothered to reach out to the insurance company to have the paperwork corrected. I called the insurance company myself and found out that they had no idea what Bridgecrest was talking about, but they did make the correction and resent the paperwork.

Unfortunately, a week later, nothing had been done by Bridgecrest. I called them every day for two weeks until finally, the gap insurance was processed. However, when I asked about my credit score, they told me that the 30-day late fee was because I should have continued making payments while waiting for everything to be processed. This was frustrating, as my daughter is a struggling single parent and I'm a healthcare worker, and this whole ordeal has impacted our ability to buy a house.

In my opinion, it's best to stay away from this company. Furthermore, all calls are routed to Barbados, where the representatives couldn't care less about what's going on here in the US. It's important to shop around and find a reputable lender who will have your best interests at heart.

Bridgecrest Beware: Bridgecrest & DriveTime's Poor Customer Service and Harassment Tactics

If you're considering Bridgecrest (bridgecrest.com) or DriveTime for your car financing needs, you might want to think twice. Recent laws state that calling someone more than 7 times a week regarding a bill can be considered harassment, yet Bridgecrest has called me 9 times in just 3 days. Not only that, but my experience with their customer service has been less than satisfactory. I fell into debt while unemployed, but after starting a new job I contracted COVID-19. Even though I tried to explain my situation and asked for some leniency, they were unresponsive and my car was set for repossession. They demanded a double payment, even though the payment was due just 2 days later. When I tried to pay off the balance in full, they insisted on adding more interest and late fees, claiming that they were unable to do anything to help me alleviate my debt. Even the pay off quote they gave me, which was supposed to be good for 10 days, added interest every day until it was paid. It's disheartening to see a company treat their customers like this. As someone who has always had perfect credit until life events occurred, I sincerely regret referring 3 different people to Bridgecrest for their car financing needs. I have owned my car since 2016, yet I still owe more than the purchase price. It's clear that Bridgecrest and DriveTime are not the best options for financing a car. Although they may seem like a last resort for some, I would recommend exploring other alternatives before resorting to them. It's alarming to see how some companies can scam and steal from people who are simply trying to make ends meet.

Bridgecrest Bridgecrest's Poor Customer Service and Unreasonable Payment Policies: A Disappointing Experience

When I purchased my 2015 Hyundai Elantra from Bridgecrest back in July 2018, I was excited to have a new car to drive. However, upon receiving the car, I quickly discovered several issues that needed to be addressed. The rear brakes were completely worn out, the tires were made in China and needed replacement, and the engine was incredibly noisy.

After fixing the brakes and replacing the tires at a cost of $500, I thought my troubles were over. But just five months later, the battery failed, costing me another $200. And then in June 2019, the engine started to stall at every stop sign and intersection, causing me more stress and financial strain.

I took the car to Hyundai for repairs, and they ended up rebuilding the engine at a total cost of over $4500, which included parts, labor, dealership repairs, and a rental car (which Hyundai covered). Unfortunately, my troubles didn't end there as the car began to stall again after an oil change.

I had had enough and decided to cash in my extended warranty. While the warranty company handled my claim fairly quickly, Bridgecrest claims they never received the payment. After calling them four times, I finally spoke to a supervisor who admitted they received payment from the warranty company twice a month, and the payment would not post until the 24th.

However, to my surprise and frustration, Bridgecrest scheduled to repossess my car starting on the 20th of the same month. Even though I made a small payment today to prevent this from happening, I still owe about $375, and the warranty check is for $1081. Although it is more than enough to get me caught up, Bridgecrest refuses to post the payment to my account and insists on applying it only to the principal of the loan.

I find this extremely unfair and unreasonable as Capital One was able to post my warranty cash to my payments. This experience has left a sour taste in my mouth, and I plan on filing several complaints. I am disappointed with the customer service I have received from Bridgecrest and would not recommend them to anyone.

Bridgecrest Review of Bridgecrest: Terrible Customer Service, Outdated Website, Confusing Payment System and High Interest Rates

Bridgecrest is, in my opinion, one of the worst companies I have dealt with. There are countless reasons why, but I'll highlight a few. Firstly, customer service is almost non-existent. Whenever I tried to reach out for help with an issue I was having, I was met with long wait times and unhelpful representatives. It was incredibly frustrating, and I felt like my concerns were not being taken seriously.

Additionally, their website is outdated and difficult to navigate. It was hard to find the information I needed, and when I did find it, it was often unclear or contradictory. I also had problems with their payment system. Many times, I would make a payment but it wouldn't go through, causing me to be charged late fees that were difficult to dispute.

The amount of stress that Bridgecrest caused me was unbelievable. I had constant worries about my account being updated correctly, and I couldn't trust that the company would handle my payments in a timely and accurate manner. On top of all of this, their interest rates were extremely high, putting an even bigger burden on my already struggling finances.

To sum it up, I would not recommend Bridgecrest to anyone. Their lack of customer service, outdated website, confusing payment system, and high interest rates make for an unpleasant experience all around.

Bridgecrest Disappointing Customer Service: My Experience with Bridgecrest

I recently had a pretty unpleasant experience with Bridgecrest, and I feel like it's important to share my story. My husband and I have actually had really great experiences with Carvana - we've purchased two cars from them and haven't missed a single payment in years. So, when the pandemic hit and we needed to defer just one payment, we figured it wouldn't be a big deal. Unfortunately, the person we spoke with at Bridgecrest was incredibly rude and unhelpful. We were shocked by the level of customer service we received.

The next day, we called back and were able to speak with someone who was a bit nicer. However, they still couldn't offer any options for deferring that one payment. We were frustrated and confused - we'd never missed a payment before, and we were simply looking for some leniency during a difficult time. Eventually, we told them that we were going to skip the payment and pay the next one as planned.

Since then, we've been bombarded with calls from Bridgecrest. We're talking multiple calls a day, sometimes even several calls an hour. It's overwhelming and incredibly frustrating. It seems like they're spending so much time and money on trying to get us to make that one missed payment, when they could have just given us a bit of leniency in the first place. It's ridiculous.

Honestly, this whole experience has really soured me on Bridgecrest. I used to be a big fan of Carvana and would recommend them to anyone who asked. But with the way this situation was handled, I'm not sure I'll be using them again in the future. It seems insane that such a small issue could cause so much trouble. In short, Bridgecrest really dropped the ball here.

Bridgecrest Proceed with Caution: A Disappointing Experience with Bridgecrest's Customer Service

I recently contacted Bridgecrest and unfortunately had a very negative experience with their customer service team. As someone with speech disabilities, I informed them from the beginning, but was met with unprofessional behavior and disrespect from both the employees and the manager. I found them to be impatient and unwilling to listen to me.

As a loyal customer who has always made on-time payments, I called them to inform them of a missed payment due to the COVID-19 situation. However, despite making a double payment in the following month, my account was still reported to credit agencies as delinquent. I was disappointed with their lack of empathy and unwillingness to change the status back.

Additionally, I found their customer service to be non-existent and felt overcharged at times. I urge all customers to regularly check their accounts and demand a resolution if necessary. I cannot help but feel that the employees at Bridgecrest lack adequate training or are untrainable. Ultimately, it is the responsibility of management to ensure competent personnel are hired for customer-facing roles.

In conclusion, I would like to warn potential customers to steer clear of Bridgecrest to avoid similar negative experiences. It is a shame that a lack of customer service exists in a time where customer satisfaction should be the top priority.

Bridgecrest Beware of Bridgecrest: Unfair Interest Fees and Questionable Practices

I recently completed a car loan with Bridgecrest and was shocked to discover a $6500.00 balance in interest fees. I had been allowed to put three car payments on the end of the loan, but was unaware that I would be charged a daily late fee on the interest until that point. This went on for two to three years, and I had no idea that my actions would be considered "late" as they were not reported to the credit bureau as such. However, when the loan matured, Bridgecrest informed me that I had 90 days to pay the $6500.00 balance, and that the first 30 days without full payment would be reported as late. I didn't want to damage my credit, so I paid the balance, using the company's payment portal. However, I was then charged an additional $217.00, which I found to be incredibly shady. I attempted to call to speak with a manager but was unsuccessful in getting through. It seemed that the only time they contacted me was when I was late with a payment! I ultimately took money out of my retirement to pay off the balance and ensure my credit remained intact. However, Bridgecrest continues to insist that I owe them more money. I find their practices to be extremely questionable, and would never recommend this financial institution to anyone. Buyer beware!

Bridgecrest Nightmare Experience with Bridgecrest: Unreliable Vehicles and Deceitful Behavior

I am a parent of a severely disabled child and in 2018, I purchased a Chrysler Town and Country from Bridgecrest with the intention of providing a vehicle that my child could easily use. However, my experience with this company has been nothing short of a nightmare. Within a week of purchasing the vehicle, the tail light malfunctioned and even after replacing the bulb, it still would not work. Shortly after, the alternator also went out, and the left rear window refused to roll down. Other issues followed, including the passenger window getting stuck while rolling down to the radiator and the heater hose assembly needing replacement. To make matters worse, the car was constantly overheating, even after several visits to the shop.

Finally, the worst occurred when the entire transmission failed. The situation was made even more frustrating by the fact that Bridgecrest's Silver Rock warranty company agreed only to replace my damaged transmission with a used one through MIDAS, a questionable car repair location. It's been two years since I purchased the vehicle, and my family has paid thousands of dollars in repairs. Instead of enjoying the car, we have been constantly burdened by it. I am disappointed with both Bridgecrest and the affiliated car dealership, Drive Time, for selling vehicles that proved to be unreliable and defective.

The company is unreasonable and unresponsive to customer complaints when it comes to making payments. They don't care about the fact that the car had been regularly in the shop or if we had to pay rental fees for a vehicle that was a total lemon. They only focus on making their money, even if it meant ruining the credit score of hardworking people. I would recommend everyone to steer clear of Bridgecrest, and any dealership that deals with them. The amount I paid for this vehicle does not match its worth on the KBB, and I am left with $10,000 to pay off, causing me a great deal of distress. Bridgecrest and Drive Time should be held accountable for their failure, and it's appalling that they can get away with this pattern of deceitful behavior, and swindling people out of their hard-earned money. It is discouraging and sad to think that some people can sleep at night despite knowing that they have sold lemon vehicles to families with disabled children. It's a heartbreaking situation that Bridgecrest has created, and it is time for the government to take action.

Bridgecrest Avoid Bridgecrest: A Terrible Experience with Questionable Customer Service and Financial Practices

When it comes to Bridgecrest, I have to say that I had an absolutely terrible experience with this company. I sought out their services after going through a messy divorce and finding my credit score in the gutter. Unfortunately, my ex had done some major damage to my credit by using my identity to sign up for credit cards, and the courts dismissed all of my evidence and gave me all the debt to deal with on my own.

Desperate for a vehicle, I had no choice but to turn to DriveTime and Bridgecrest for help. However, right from the start, I felt like I was being taken advantage of. While I did manage to maintain a perfect payment record for two years, I was shocked to find out when I called for a pay off that the 14k vehicle I was paying $500 a month for had a pay off of over $13,000. How was this even possible when Bridgecrest had already received $12k from me?

Frustrated and feeling like I was being scammed, I turned to a major dealership to trade in my vehicle. I was offered a trade-in value of $11,500 and negotiated additional terms with the dealership to drive off with a 2018 vehicle at just 6% interest. Meanwhile, Bridgecrest received a pay off but refused to update their records, leading to two repo trucking companies coming to my home looking for a vehicle that Bridgecrest knew was at the dealership.

To make matters worse, Bridgecrest continued to harass me and attack my credit score, despite my repeated attempts to prove that their vehicle was free and clear on my end and that I was no longer in possession of it. Overall, my Bridgecrest experience was like playing Russian roulette. While the service may have sufficed in the moment, things only got worse over time. I highly recommend avoiding Bridgecrest if possible and being prepared to pay ridiculous interest rates and deal with questionable customer service.

Bridgecrest Disappointing and Frustrating Experience with Bridgecrest: A Cautionary Tale

I recently had an experience with Bridgecrest that was extremely disappointing and frustrating. While I had made payments on time previously, I lost my job due to Covid which made things difficult. I was able to make payments when I could, but unfortunately, some payments seemed to have "disappeared" from their records. This was confusing and frustrating, as I knew I was only behind by $500, but Bridgecrest suddenly claimed I was behind $1500.

Despite providing bank statements as proof of my previous payments, they refused to acknowledge that their records may have been incorrect. On top of this, they unexpectedly repossessed my car in the middle of the night without any warning or notification. This was especially upsetting since there were some personal items in the car that weren't even mine.

Overall, I am highly dissatisfied with the way Bridgecrest handled my situation. Although I understand that the repo of my car was legally justified, I would have appreciated some warning beforehand so that I could retrieve my personal items. Furthermore, the attitude and tone of their customer service left a lot to be desired. It seemed as though they were treating me as though I were beneath them, which was highly unprofessional and frustrating.

In the future, I would caution others against using Bridgecrest. While I understand that everyone has different experiences, I cannot in good conscience recommend this company based on my own interactions with them.

Bridgecrest My Frustrating Experience with Bridgecrest's Customer Service

I recently faced an issue with Bridgecrest that left me feeling frustrated and helpless. Moving from Colorado to Kansas meant that I needed to have my vehicle registered in Kansas, which required a copy of the title from Bridgecrest. I reached out to Bridgecrest customer service for assistance, but unfortunately, my experience was nothing short of disappointing.

The customer service representatives kept transferring me from one agent to another, but my requests remained unresolved. I had requested the title in early December, but as of mid-January, my county had not yet received it. My Bridgecrest account showed that they had "sent the DMV" the title on December 22nd. While I was given a timeframe of 3-5 business days, it had been over a month, and the situation remained unresolved. My account did not provide information on where the title was sent or how it was sent.

When I reached out to customer service, they gave me contradictory information regarding whether the title had been faxed or mailed, and when asked for further clarity, I was repeatedly placed on hold or transferred to another agent. I even went further and sent an email that was ignored.

What compounded my frustration was not being able to legally drive my vehicle because it was not registered. Despite voicing my concerns and asking for help from the agents, I was consistently told all I could do was wait. But waiting for six to eight weeks, as one agent suggested, seemed unnecessarily long when the title had already been sent more than a month earlier.

Overall, I found my experience with Bridgecrest's customer service unhelpful and unsatisfying. I had to wait an unspeakable amount of time and make numerous phone calls just to register my vehicle. It was a frustrating and incredibly disappointing experience, one that could have been easily avoided with better communication and responsiveness on the part of the customer service team.

Horrible customer service! Mario was rude and condescending. Reused to answer questions when asked directly and specifically asked regarding payments. DO NOT purchase a car from Bridgecrest. Worst experience of financing I have ever had! I would give ZERO stars if possible.
