Buyee Buyee Review: A Reliable Proxy Service for Yahoo Japan Auctions

As someone who enjoys buying Japanese crafts, especially antique ones, I often turn to Yahoo Japan Auctions to search for unique pieces. Unfortunately, due to the platform's requirements, I need to use a proxy service to purchase items unless I have a Japanese address. That's where Buyee comes in.

I have been using Buyee for the past two years and I couldn't be happier with their service. The platform gives me access to tens of thousands of pieces that I wouldn't be able to find otherwise. Frequently, these items are even cheaper than what I would find at a traditional brick and mortar store.

That being said, there are some drawbacks to using a proxy service like Buyee. One of the biggest challenges I have faced is trying to communicate with the dealer directly. It's not always easy to ask questions or negotiate pricing, and the translations can often be inadequate. Luckily, their customer service is usually quick to respond and address any issues I may have.

While Buyee isn't perfect, I haven't found a better proxy service. The platform is easy to use, the shipping is fast and reliable thanks to EMS (Japan's national post/courier service), and I'm always finding great items. Of course, there are some inflexible aspects, such as not being able to withdraw a bid or being unable to unrequest a package consolidation once requested. However, given the volume of goods they handle, I understand these limitations.

Speaking of consolidation, it can be a bit pricey. Buyee doesn't remove anything from the packages they receive from the seller before consolidating, so this can sometimes cost more money than shipping items individually. Nonetheless, it is a convenient option for things like books that can be sent by sea mail.

Overall, I find the charges to be reasonable, although I wish their exchange rate was better. In any case, the advantages far outweigh the disadvantages, and I'm grateful to have such a reliable proxy service at my disposal.

Buyee Poor Experience with Buyee Proxy Service: Canceled Order, Limited Shipping Options & Rude Communication

As an experienced customer of Buyee, I have unfortunately had a poor experience with their proxy service. Despite being a loyal customer for years, I will no longer be using their services due to recent issues I have encountered. Firstly, I had an order cancelled shortly after purchasing an item. This was a frustrating start, but I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and tried to purchase the same item under a new listing. However, this also met with problems when it came to shipping options. Buyee had limited their options to DHL and sea mail, both of which have their own issues. I opted for sea mail and was disappointed to find that I had been waiting for over a month with no updates to the tracking number. Strike two.

I reached out to my billing office and they contacted Buyee on my behalf, but there was no response from Buyee within the expected time frame. Ultimately, my billing office decided in my favor and refunded the payment. However, instead of addressing the issue at hand, Buyee then sent me an invoice demanding I return the payment. I found this to be incredibly frustrating and felt that all they cared about was getting my money. I've since decided to take my business elsewhere and will not be returning to Buyee.

Following my initial review, Buyee continued to send rude and nasty emails, which only served to further my disappointment in their service. Their lack of concern for my lost item and their general demeanor towards my complaint only reinforced my decision to never use their service again. I was hit with the "we're not eBay" line and was even told that they were sorry my tracking wasn't updating fast enough for me. This was the last straw and I will never deal with Buyee again.

Buyee Disappointing experience with Buyee.jp: Slow customer service, incorrect invoice handling, discrimination against Lite Plan customers

I recently had a real purchase experience with Buyee (buyee.jp) and I must say that it was a disappointing one. Firstly, the customer service was found to be slow as they only replied once per day and that too at the end of working hours. This resulted in a delay in resolving the complaints that I had raised.

Secondly, when I informed them about the import tax charged as a result of a mismatch in the invoice, I found that they were trying to push away their fault. This was not acceptable to me as their responsibility should be to correct the issue instead of trying to shift the blame.

Furthermore, I found that their system did allow for item category modification on the final invoice, but they ignored it and shipped out a totally different version of the invoice without informing me about the mismatch. This meant that the customer wasn't aware of the shipped-out invoice version. This issue has still not been resolved as my Buyee page invoice is different from the shipped-out invoice.

With the incorrect item category on the invoice, I was being charged an import tax that resulted in my paying extra. When I informed them about the incorrect item category from the seller, I found that they were reluctant to show proof of the seller's invoice, which seemed to be hiding the truth. They refused to inform the seller about the issue and argued that all sellers put the incorrect item category on their invoice, which made no sense.

To make matters worse, they discriminated against Lite Plan customers and refused to refund/compensate the tax charged due to their fault. Even a portion of the tax amount was not refunded, which was quite unfair.

Finally, I requested them to send a letter describing the mismatch of the invoice issue so that I can show it to the local Customs to appeal and claim back my imposed tax. However, they refused to mention or reply to my request.

In conclusion, this experience with Buyee has taught me the following things: the Buyee system invoice item category modification function does not work as expected; the seller's invoice information can be wrong, but they don't correct it for the customer; and discriminates against Lite Plan customers. This was an overall disappointing experience, and I will not continue to use their service in the future.

Buyee Game Changing Proxy Service: Buyee Review

As a frequent user of Mercari.jp, I was disappointed that some sellers can be quite picky when it comes to buyers. Thankfully, I stumbled upon Buyee - a proxy service that allows me to purchase almost anything I want from the platform. It's been a game changer for me, especially since Mercari.jp is a Japanese app and I don't have the advantage of just buying something without Buyee's help.

I really appreciate Buyee's customer service team as they are incredibly responsive and helpful. Whenever I have any inquiries, I simply shoot them an email, and I usually receive a response that same night. Recently, I wanted to purchase some Sarasa refills, but the seller included a perfume in the set, which violates Buyee's shipping guidelines. Thankfully, the team was quick to help, and they suggested removing the perfume from the set. With their help, I was able to buy the refills without a problem.

While I appreciate Buyee's constant promotions, I do miss the free shipping and service fee coupons they used to offer. Buying cheap items is great, but when the service fee is 500 yen for a 300 yen item, it can be bittersweet. Nonetheless, I still make the purchase if I really want the item, but I would much rather have those coupons back.

Overall, I would highly recommend Buyee to anyone looking for a reliable proxy service. They have excellent coupons, and their customer service is a breath of fresh air with how polite and quick they respond to questions or any other concerns you might have. Just be mindful of the 500 yen service fee, and you'll be good to go.

Buyee Unfair Pricing and Poor Communication- A Review of Buyee as a Proxy Shopping Service

As someone who recently tried out Buyee, the experience was initially fine. However, this changed when dealing with one seller who accidentally sent two boxes of items separately to the warehouse instead of together. Buyee quoted the weight to be slightly heavier than the combined weight of the boxes, and I proceeded to check out without thinking much of it.

After the shipment was sent, I received a notification to settle my outstanding shipment, only to find out that the same product was being shipped with the same weight as the combined weight of the two boxes. When I received the parcel, I weighed it with the packaging still intact, and it was less than half of the weight quoted by Buyee. When I reached out to Buyee about this issue, they simply told me they would get back to me.

Then, my second parcel was notified to have been shipped, and Buyee told me they could no longer do anything about it. Communication was definitely an issue, even though I can speak both Japanese and English, as Buyee chose not to communicate.

This incident made me feel as though Buyee treats their customers as money harvesting animals and is ripping customers off by misquoting the weight of parcels. They also seem to ignore payment issues and complaints they find difficult to deal with, even though it was their mistake. Other proxies like ZenMarket make hidden costs transparent, while Buyee does not.

In conclusion, I wouldn't recommend using Buyee and suggest using other proxies instead. Use at your own risk.

Buyee Buyee Review: Limited Support for Large Orders & High Shipping Costs

As someone who has purchased from Buyee on multiple occasions, I have noticed a difference in their quality of service depending on the size of my order. For small orders consisting of six or fewer items, Buyee has been a satisfactory platform to use.

However, when I began to place larger orders consisting of 20 items or more, I quickly realized the limitations of Buyee's support system. While their staff remains polite, they proved to be entirely unhelpful when it came to addressing any problems that arose with my large orders.

Perhaps the most frustrating experience I encountered was a delay of almost two weeks before Buyee finally placed an Amazon Japan order consisting of 12 items. These were rare and used out of print items, and they started to go out of stock, causing even more delays. While I received many apologies from Buyee, they offered no explanation for the cause of the delay. This continued to be a problem when it came to consolidating my package for shipment as Buyee only packaged my items into a single box, exceeding the air and surface dimension limits they set themselves. This meant that my package could only be shipped via expensive DHL instead of surface mail, adding an extra $300 to my shipping costs.

Furthermore, I observed an issue when I attempted to order an item that Buyee had claimed was out of stock, even though it was shipped directly by Amazon Japan and showed as one left. To resolve this issue, I made the purchase on Amazon Japan myself, and the order went through the next day without any issue.

Lastly, when I requested consolidated packaging, the items were placed in a box that exceeded air and surface dimensions again. After paying for surface mail, I find out that this option is canceled because it was exceeding the limits. However, Buyee wasn't going to make it right, providing no assistance at all.

All in all, based on these interactions, I question the usefulness of their optional insurance, particularly if the platform itself is inefficient. While these issues may be manageable when purchasing small orders, I would warn against using Buyee for managing larger orders with multiple items. Should you have any major issues, expect little to no support or assistance, particularly when the issues have been caused by their error.

Buyee Buyee Review: Pros and Cons of Purchasing Unique Items with This Platform

As someone who has been using Buyee for about a year now, I can attest to the convenience and variety of items that can be purchased through this platform. One of the main reasons I keep coming back to Buyee is the fact that they allow me access to items that I cannot find elsewhere or that are only available at significantly higher prices elsewhere.

Apart from the unique inventory, I appreciate the site's built-in translation function, which helps me understand what I am purchasing. Additionally, the ability to choose from several different shipping methods, each with its level of tracking and protection, is a huge plus.

The 30-day free storage period is another great feature, which allows you to purchase multiple items and then consolidate them into one package. During the consolidation process, individual packages are not opened up, which means you can be sure that nothing gets lost or damaged during careless repackaging.

I also appreciate the fact that Buyee frequently offers coupons and free-fee offers, which can help buyers save some money. I have taken advantage of some of the 11.11 offers on Mercari, which have been particularly beneficial.

However, there are some things that I don't like about Buyee. For example, their fees can be unreasonably high, particularly if you are purchasing smaller or cheaper items. On Yahoo! JAPAN Auction, for example, the minimum fee is 500 JPY without any protection or extra service, which can make it not worth purchasing certain items.

Another issue I have with Buyee is that their system for automatically determining prohibited items isn't always accurate. I have seen non-prohibited items marked as prohibited several times, and customer service doesn't always address these issues promptly, meaning that someone else may purchase the item before they get a chance to review your request.

Finally, while I appreciate that Buyee offers coupons and special offers frequently, it can be frustrating that these are often only available for high-value items. I would like to see more offers that are accessible for those of us who aren't willing or able to spend 10,000 JPY or more on a single item.

Overall, I believe that Buyee is a valuable platform for purchasing unique or hard-to-find items. However, there are some concerns that buyers should be aware of before making a purchase, particularly around fees and the accuracy of the prohibited items list. Despite these concerns, I have had mostly positive experiences with Buyee and will continue to use the platform in the future.

Buyee Unsatisfactory Experience with Buyee: Confusing Shipping Interface, Poor Customer Service, and Damaged Item

Buyee, a Japanese-based service, has a customer interface that can be quite confusing, especially when it comes to shipping small items. They seem to charge quite a bit, and there is no clear indication that you could consolidate packages until after you have already paid for some packages to be shipped separately. In my case, I ended up spending a total of $80 to ship four small items separately, which was quite absurd. When I eventually found out about the consolidation option, I contacted their customer service to see if my shipments could be adjusted to be shipped together, but they straightforwardly refused by saying that the packages were already on their way to the post office.

I sort of understood their stance, but things became worse when my packages took almost a month to be checked in with a post office. I let them know I would never purchase from them again, but they still sent me customer service emails on consolidation options each time I received an email from them. After months of tracking my items, the tracking stopped, and I reached out to them. Their reply was that they would look into it, but it would take a few months.

My experience with their customer service had been quite discouraging so far, and to top it all off, my first package arrived in pretty bad shape. The package was already ripped open, and the cat on the ring had its tail bent so much it pierced the little amount of bubble wrap and plastic bag they had put it in, and the front of the cat figurine was rusted. I reached out to them by sharing some personal information about the frustration I had been experiencing, and I pleaded with them to refund the item and treat me like a human, but they were not helpful at all.

Their response to my complaint was plain out rude and unhelpful. They claimed not to see any damage and, even if it existed, I had opted for the standard plan, and I could still put the ring on my finger to function as a ring. I was disappointed with their lack of compassion and concern for their customers. If all my items come damaged, I will be going straight to PayPal to file a claim.

Buyee My Nightmare Experience with Buyee.jp - Misleading Practices & Outrageous Shipping Fees

Buyee.jp is a Japanese online shopping service that helps customers purchase items from Japan. Unfortunately, my experience with this company has been nothing short of a nightmare. I recently won a few auctions on Yahoo Auction Japan and paid the bill, but things just went downhill from there.

For starters, I received a flood of annoying emails from Buyee.jp with excuses about the items being labeled incorrectly and sent back to them. This mistake and lack of accountability were entirely the fault of Buyee.jp. The shipping fees were also a major letdown. Initially, they had given me the impression that I could choose the shipping carrier and method. However, after winning the auction, I found out that the shipping method and carrier were pre-selected, and I could not change them.

I bought a motorcycle frame that weighed about 9.5 kilos, and the cheapest shipping method would have been Sea Cargo, costing about 12,000 yen, which I was okay with since I wasn't in a hurry to receive the parts. However, Buyee.jp pre-selected the most expensive shipping method, which cost me around 44,000 yen, four times more than necessary. Adding these Buyee.jp fees and the shipping costs, I realized that I would have to pay the equivalent of 1200 dollars for the shipment. That price is outrageous, and it's almost similar to the cost of a flight to Tokyo, including accommodation in a capsule hotel for two days.

I consider this practice a complete scam. I have records of all my correspondence with their customer service, as well as screenshots of my Buyee.jp account to substantiate all my claims. If you need confirmation of my experience, feel free to check my Google Local Guide account; Matt Apple.

Apart from being misleading and dysfunctional, Buyee.jp also fails in numerous areas. For example, I was informed that all the items I had won were supposed to be shipped together in one large package, but Buyee.jp's shipping experts claimed that it was not possible. Moreover, all the items had to be shipped via a more expensive shipping method, even though they could have been sent using the cheaper Sea Cargo option.

To make matters worse, Buyee.jp requested that I go to my account and initiate the shipment process myself, including the payment of additional shipping fees. This idea is absurd, and I have never heard of any company asking its customers to pay for goods before they even receive them.

In conclusion, if you're looking to shop in Japan, I would strongly advise against Buyee.jp. Their confusing email communication, lack of accountability, and misleading practices are unacceptable, and I can't recommend them to anyone. I hope that no one else has to experience what I went through.

Buyee Buyee Review: High Fees and Frustrating Customer Service Outweigh Benefits of Japanese Proxy Shopping Service

Looking for a proxy to help you buy from Japanese online stores? Let me tell you about my experience with Buyee and why I won't be using them again. While their fees and coupons may look appealing at first, the negatives of their service far outweigh the benefits.

Let's start with the fees: Buyee charges a basic fee of 300 yen per transaction for their lite plan and 800 yen for the insured plan. On top of that, there's a 200 yen Mercari transaction fee per transaction, and a 1,000 yen shipping consolidation fee. While they do offer small package shipping options and coupons with Mercari and Rakuten, there are other proxy services out there that offer free consolidation and small package options at a lower rate.

My experience with Buyee was frustrating to say the least. They were slow to complete orders, failed to purchase items and took ages to reply to my emails. Their customer service was a nightmare; I felt like I was talking to robots rather than actual people who cared about my satisfaction. When I made a large order from Surugaya, they charged me a 220 yen shipping fee even though it was supposed to be free shipping from the store. When I asked about this, they claimed it was due to tracking requirements, but other proxies offer tracking without additional fees. When I asked about the domestic shipping requirement for my order, their agents passed me around repeatedly without answering my questions. Later on, they split my order into three packages, charged me an additional 1,000 yen consolidation fee, and failed to inform me that two of my packages had arrived much later. When I asked for a refund, their customer service refused to comply, citing their policy as the reason.

Given such a poor experience with Buyee, I recommend looking into other proxy services. FromJapan and Neokyo offer competitive rates and more insurance while charging less for consolidation and shipping. I've tried FromJapan before and received a smooth and quick transaction, and I plan on trying Neokyo next. In conclusion, while Buyee may offer some benefits, their customer service and high fees make them a less-than-ideal choice for proxy services.

Buyee Buyee Proxy Service Review: Hidden Fees & Website Issues

Looking for a great proxy purchasing service to help you get items from Japanese stores? While Buyee might meet your needs if you're only looking to purchase one item at a time, our experiences suggest that there are hidden fees and other issues you'll want to be aware of before making a purchase.

One key problem is the inflexible approach taken by Buyee - if your order includes staggered shipments, you might end up paying hefty consolidation fees, or even daily storage fees that quickly add up. Unfortunately, these costs are nearly impossible to predict ahead of time, and could end up strongly impacting the value proposition of using Buyee in the first place.

Beyond these fees, it can also be frustrating to navigate Buyee's website and order process - particularly if you're not comfortable reading Japanese. This issue can lead to mistakes and misorders, like our experience with accidentally getting a postcard and clear file set instead of a poster. While it's nice that they offer refunds, it can be frustrating to find they aren't willing to be flexible when making a mistake like this.

Overall, it's hard to recommend Buyee for most purchases thanks to these issues. While they may have their uses for one-off purchases or similar situations, you'll want to be cautious and well-informed before making a decision.

Buyee Buyee Review: Dishonest Company with Poor Customer Service and Blacklisting Policy

As a customer who recently used Buyee (buyee.jp), I must say that my experience with the company was less than satisfactory. Before purchasing an item from Mercari Japan, I came across Buyee's website and their prominent campaign advertising Mercari. Although I was initially intrigued by this promotion, I later found myself regretting using their services.

Firstly, the item I bought was advertised as having "NO visible signs of use/damage," yet upon its arrival, it was clear that the item was old, scratched and discolored. Disappointed with the condition of my purchase, I reached out to Buyee's customer support team immediately to explain the situation. However, their response was unsympathetic and unhelpful; they informed me that because I had opted for their Lite plan, they were not liable for the issue.

Furthermore, when I asked them to leave negative feedback for the seller in question, they refused, stating that they did not wish to receive negative feedback themselves from the seller. As a paying customer, I found this lack of support and unwillingness to take responsibility for their role in facilitating the purchase deeply concerning.

It's worth noting that Buyee's Facebook page does not have a rating feature enabled, which may raise red flags for some customers. As someone who values transparency and honesty in business dealings, this is definitely worrying.

Overall, I believe that Buyee is a dishonest company that fails to uphold the typical standards of Japanese customer service. I, for one, will not be purchasing from them again and will discourage others from doing so. It's disheartening to see a company that claims to be reliable and efficient handle customer complaints and issues in such an unsatisfactory manner. Additionally, I was disturbed to find out that if you choose to open a claim via PayPal because of issues with your Buyee purchase, the company will blacklist you. This kind of behavior only reinforces my belief that Buyee cannot be trusted.

Buyee Buyee Review: A Problematic Proxy Service for Purchasing Japanese Items

I recently stumbled upon Buyee through a sponsorship deal with CandyEvie, where she boasted about buying a collection of Japan-exclusive merchandise through their site. Curious to explore this service further, I decided to give Buyee a try.

Buyee is essentially a "proxy" site that enables you to purchase anything from Japan and have it shipped straight to your doorstep. The service was created with the intention of being a platform for individuals who may not have means to access exclusive Japanese items. The site features products from websites like Yahoo Japan Shopping, Yahoo Japan Auction, Rakuten, and several others.

Initially, the process seems simple - browse through the Japanese product listings, select and purchase your desired item. Once you complete payment, Buyee takes over and purchases the product on your behalf, which then gets delivered to their warehouse. From there, the site allows you 30 days to pay for shipping of your product to your home address.

However, this is where the service begins to fall apart. The storage timer for the product you've purchased is already counting down, and all international shipping methods from Japan to Canada (in my case) are completely disabled. This essentially locks me into an unshippable state, with absolutely no means to receive my purchased items.

It begs the question- what happens to the money spent on the product, in such a scenario? It is quite apparent that Buyee keeps the money and resells the product to someone else, resulting in the loss of both money and the product you sought to purchase.

I urge Buyee to rectify this situation and to provide a more reliable and customer-friendly service. It is essential that customers trust your service, and locking them into unshippable states is detrimental to both parties. Let's hope that Buyee takes steps to address these issues and continue to be a platform for exclusive Japanese items.

Buyee Buyee Review: Unreliable and Frustrating Service Provider with Overcharges and Inability to Meet Customer Needs

Our experience with Buyee (buyee.jp) started off on a positive note. We were given a credit of 500 yen to write a review, but we believe in being honest and objective in our reviews. Unfortunately, we faced some difficulties that we feel our readers should be aware of before using the service.

Our first concern was with the overcharges on domestic shipping, which sometimes ranged up to 1100 yen (11.00 USD). Although this was eventually corrected, it took several dozen emails to communicate the issue to them and get it resolved. Initially, they were unwilling to admit their mistake.

Another issue we encountered was when we requested for consolidate packaging. Instead of removing the domestic shipping materials and putting the items (watches) into an appropriate size box, Buyee decided to throw the entire lot into an oversized box. This led to a more expensive shipping service being used (EMS). When we asked them to use a smaller box, our request was initially refused with the reason being that they do not have small boxes in stock. We found this strange since shipping forwarding services ought to have an inventory of different-sized boxes to meet the varying needs of customers. After several emails, they finally said they could provide a small box, but at an additional cost of 500 yen (5.00 USD). This left us feeling frustrated as we ship watches internationally in sturdy corrugated e-commerce boxes that cost only 16 cents (USD).

On the whole, we believe that Buyee is an unreliable service provider. They appear unwilling to meet the needs of their customers, and we advise all users to exercise caution when using their services. Despite the initial credit of 500 yen, our experience with Buyee has left us feeling less than satisfied.

Buyee Buyee Review: Unreasonable Policies & Arbitrary Fees Make for a Frustrating Experience

In February, I purchased a Twice lightstick for their concert from JYP Japan and opted for international shipping through Buyee. Unfortunately, I was not made aware of their terms and conditions either before or after making my purchase, nor were they readily available on their website. As time passed, I noticed that I had received several emails regarding shipping arrangements, which I found odd and unexpected. When I reached out to cancel my order due to the high shipping fees of $35 and questionable additional fees, I was told that cancellations and changes were not possible after the purchase had been made. I found this policy to be unreasonable and entirely unacceptable.

Despite going back and forth with the customer support team over several emails, I was informed that I would have to pay a plethora of arbitrary and pointless fees if I wished to have my package discarded. I also attempted to remove my credit card from their website but was unable to do so due to outstanding payments. This is an outrageous and unjust process since I own the credit card and should be able to remove it without issue. My experience with Buyee was incredibly frustrating, and I would strongly advise anyone against using their services.

It quickly became apparent that Buyee is a company that will heap fees upon fees as though it were their sole purpose. Their customer support was unhelpful, and their policies seemed more oriented towards taking advantage of unsuspecting customers than towards providing quality service. Don't make the same mistake I did and use this website - you will only be met with a sound rebuff.

Buyee Negative Review: Avoid Excessive Fees on Buyee.jp Proxy Site

Buyee (buyee.jp) has received a rather negative review from a customer that had a disappointing experience after using the website. Although it is not a scam, they expressed that the proxy is a "bloody money sucker" that charges excessively for everything.

The customer ordered six Digimon dim cards from the same seller, at the same time, but was informed by Buyee that each of the dim cards comes with separate packaging. This resulted in Buyee charging the customer 250yen for each unit's consolidation fees, which totaled 1500yen on top of the shipping fees plus the flat fee per order and the expensive insurance fees of 500yen.

The customer further expressed their disappointment that Buyee charged them an extra 500yen per item on top of their domestic shipping for shipping to a friend's Japanese address. This extra cost was not explained to the customer beforehand, leading to further frustration.

The customer mentions that Buyee's customer service was not helpful when it came to answering questions regarding costs, and charged their users excessively, unlike other proxy websites such as Neokyo, Whiterabbit, and Zenmarket.

As a result, the customer advises others to use other proxy websites instead of Buyee. Their experience left them feeling very agitated, and they vowed never to order from Buyee again. Overall, the customer review highlights the importance of researching other proxy options before choosing Buyee for anyone interested in using a proxy service from Japan.

Buyee Buyee Review: Unethical and Dishonest Practices Lead to Damaged Goods and Denied Refund

As a buyer, it is important to be cautious when dealing with various companies online. Unfortunately, the online shopping experience does not always live up to expectations and can often result in negative experiences. This is especially true for those who have had dealings with Buyee, one of the leading online shopping sites based in Japan.

In my experience, I found that Buyee operates unethically and fails to provide its customers with the level of service that they deserve. Even after paying for standard insurance, the company failed to inspect my product as promised and refused to offer me a refund when I received the item damaged. Despite the fact that the seller had advertised that the product was not damaged, I received a poorly packaged and fatally damaged product.

Furthermore, when I reached out to customer service for assistance, I was disappointed to find that there was a clear language barrier which made communication very difficult. This resulted in receiving a canned response to my complaint and ultimately, I was denied my refund.

It is worth noting that Buyee refused to honor their refund policy because they claimed that I had exceeded the 14-day delivery deadline for filing a complaint. However, this was simply untrue, as only 10 days had passed since I placed my order and it had yet to be delivered.

This experience has made it very clear to me that Buyee operates with a no-refund policy that is not based on reason or evidence. They instead prioritize their profits at the expense of their customers who have worked hard to earn their money. It is incredibly disappointing to see a company operate in such an unethical manner and to treat their customers with such disdain.

If you have also experienced similar issues with Buyee, I would encourage you to reach out to the email address provided in order to share your story. It is only through concerted legal effort that we can work to hold companies like Buyee accountable for their cheating practices and unethical behavior.

Buyee Buyee Review: Do Not Use This Service When Buying from Yahoo Japan

If you are considering using Buyee (buyee.jp) to purchase items from Yahoo Japan, you may want to think twice before proceeding. I recently used Buyee to buy a brand new Hi Fi amplifier from Yahoo Japan for $1,800 USD (Auction Ref ID: r379264025). It seemed like a good deal at the time, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a bad experience.

While the shipping and delivery process went smoothly and the outer box was in excellent condition, I soon discovered a major issue with the product when I tried to turn it on. The source selection dial did not work at all, making it impossible to switch between CD, phono, Aux, and other modes. At first, I hoped that Buyee would be able to help me resolve the issue, but unfortunately, that was not the case.

When I contacted Buyee about the problem, they asked for some photos to prove the issue. After waiting 24 hours, they informed me that they wouldn't be able to help me. As a result, I am now stuck with a defective product that has no international warranty, since Denon (the manufacturer of the amplifier) does not provide such coverage. The only way to get the issue fixed would be to physically bring the product back to Japan, which is not possible for me due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Overall, my experience with Buyee has been a huge disappointment. They were slow to respond to my requests for photo verification, and when it came down to actually helping me resolve the issue with the defective product, they refused to do so. As a result, I have had to open a chargeback or dispute with my credit card company to try to get my money back. If you are considering using Buyee for any purchases, I would recommend looking elsewhere, as you may end up regretting it later on.

Buyee Buyee.jp Review: Avoid for International Shipping and Poor Customer Service

If you are a collector or just want to ship books internationally, I would advise against using Buyee (buyee.jp). I had a terrible experience with this website. Initially, I was given two options for packaging: standard or protective. However, the standard packaging option is only suitable for national shipping and not international shipping. Therefore, the items eventually arrived damaged. On the other hand, the protective option is extremely expensive and causes shipping costs to be blown out of proportion due to the unnecessary amount of materials used.

Additionally, the customer service department was not helpful at all. They seemed nice and friendly, but they lacked the understanding and efficiency required to resolve my issues. I found that I had to repeat myself several times before they could actually comprehend what I was trying to say. When it came to checking on the status of my package, they failed to notify me of its return and forced me to pay the shipping costs again. Furthermore, when I asked for a refund, they ignored my request.

In the end, I had to rely on myself to resolve my problems with Buyee. They lost my trust and I wouldn't recommend their services to anyone. However, I received a full refund for my damaged items after a month of investigation. Despite this, my opinion still stands that the customer experience at Buyee was terrible.

Buyee Buyee Online Shopping Review: Frustrating and Costly Experience with Excessive Fees and Lack of Transparency

Buyee is an online shopping website that offers a wide range of products at competitive prices. I had recently made a purchase of three identical items which costed me about $12 each. However, upon checkout, I was shocked to see that the seller had added three additional fees to the item cost, which totaled to about $10. These fees included a Buyee Service Fee of 300yen, a Payment Fee of 200yen, and Plan Fees of 500yen.

To make matters worse, I didn't get any indication of the shipping costs before checkout. It was only after I had made the purchase that I found out that the shipping cost of each item was about $17-19. This brought the total cost of my purchase to a whopping $40, which I found quite steep.

I reached out to the seller and requested that my order be cancelled, but they refused stating that the products were already in their warehouse and ready for shipment. I then asked the seller if they could merge all three items and send them in a single package, but they asked me to log in to my account and pay a fee of 1000yen (about $10 USD) for this service.

I was hesitant to pay this fee without knowing the cost of shipping the merged package, so I contacted the seller again, hoping to get some clarity. But unfortunately, the seller wasn't willing to disclose the cost of merging the package and asked me to apply for it and pay the fee upfront.

This was a disappointing experience, but I thought I had found a way out of it by clicking on the "dispose" option which I thought would allow me to get a refund of the cost of the item. However, despite choosing this option, the seller refused to refund me, stating that the aforementioned fees were non-refundable.

Overall, I found my Buyee experience frustrating and costly. While I appreciate that there are some additional fees when buying online, I feel that the fees charged by Buyee were excessive and not transparent. It would have been more helpful if the seller had indicated the shipping costs upfront before I had made the purchase, and if Buyee had better communication channels with their sellers to ensure that customers could get more clarity on the costs involved.

Won 4 bearbrick auctions from a seller declaring 100% genuine products else full refund. Turned out that all were fakes. Buyee support refused to refund, also prevented me from contacting seller.

I asked whether seller had broken Buyee rules by selling fakes but no reply.

Use Buyee at your own risk as there's no customer support.
