Mixed Experiences with YOOX
As a potential customer considering YOOX, it's important to note the mixed experiences shared by customers. While some have praised the timely delivery and product quality, others have faced challenges with returns, customer service, and product discrepancies. It seems that issues like incorrect sizing, delays in refunds, and misleading product descriptions have left some customers dissatisfied. Before making a purchase, it's advisable to carefully review both positive and negative feedback to make an informed decision.
My all time favorite website!
I've been a regular Yoox shopper for over 3 years and truly, there is no better place to find a great fashion deal. It is perfect if you're one of those people (like me) who follows designer fashion very closely but doesn't feel the need to buy things on-season. Wait a while, and as if by magic, chances are you WILL see your favorite items sneakily pop up on Yoox at big discounts! It is also perfect if you just want a bargain high quality item, end of story!
The only thing is, their size advice can be inconsistent, so really make sure you know your size (especially shoes) in a particular designer before you buy.
In my experience, they deal with problems efficiently and effectively. I bought an iPhone case which turned out to be measured incorrectly and therefore incompatible with my phone model, so I called their customer service hotline and they swiftly arranged for a full refund without the restock fee deduction.
Keep it up Yoox!
Customer since 2006 in USA
I have been customer of YOOX in USA since 2006 and now I live in EU and use them still because of their selection and prices on premium merch. I have never ever had problem with Yoox customer service, ever. All these one star reviews are from mentally $#*!ed people, I swear. Yes, I occasionally received damaged or wrong items, Yoox always promptly refunded my money and once offered to pay for dry cleaning of my clothes due to dye spots left by one of their items. The prices and selection is unrivaled by any online store or brick and mortar. Sacks5TH or Barney's don't have 1/10th of what Yoox have in stock. Yes refund might take 2-3 weeks (my European friends need to STFU about their refunds) Europeans are such a small-time thieves that they suspect everyone of being them every time all the time. Stop it, your pathetic refund is coming, stop crying you indolent Socialist babies. One thing I would agree with; store credit is not convenient option for refunds. Otherwise, Long Live Yoox!

Beyond reproach
I've used Yoox for over 3 years and have found every aspect of their service of the highest standards. Never once have my returns been disputed, however refunds can take up to 2 weeks upon reception in Italy, especially during the holiday season.
As for their products (I'm a male living in France), almost impossible to find equivalent quality/price clothes in bricks and mortar shops, and other online retailers are either outrageously expensive or sell junk. The vast majority of their brands are Italian, and the mid-upper range names rarely distributed outside of Italy are especially worthwhile.
Ordering clothes online means that you have to be more than ready to send back if the variables: size/fit/cut/fabric/appearance don't suit. A useful technique is to order more than one size of the same article and a number of similar items and then make an appropriate choice.
To summarise Yoox is a large company (turnover in excess of a 500 million ?) quoted on the Milan Stock Exchange, they're deadly serious and professional.
First 2 orders received Perfect!
I was really nervous to order from YOOX after reading all the reviews. I received my first two orders and I want to share my experience. The first order was a pair of women 7 for all mankind jeans with gold sequin and rhinestones on back pockets. Retail would have been $250 and I got them with tax included $69. The website pictures were horrible and I was nervous I wouldn't like the jeans and they were the only pair left. They arrived neatly wrapped in tissue and had all tags attached in were in perfect new condition. Second order came today. I bought two Armani Jeans Sequin front sweaters in burgandy and black. They were size 48 US size women's large. They retailed $240 and I got them for $150 total after tax. All tags were attached and they came boxed neatly in tissue new and perfect condition. I'm waiting on a Burberry Prorsum coat I ordered last Monday to still ship. It was the only one size 46 US women's size 12. It retailed $2000 ish and I got it $659 after tax. I'm praying it fits and comes in the same condition as my other items. So far I am very pleased with YOOX and would order from them again.
I had excellent experiences with Yoox!
I have purchased at least 10 pairs of shoes and 5 garments from this site. First time skeptically so and with reason after purchasing after seeing all their negative reviews. I also have had the need to return most of the shoes for an exchange or refund because of euro size conversion, which even buying in store can be an issue between brands. I followed their return instructions and have done so without any problem on their end. The $6 return fee does make me grumble a bit but I figure if my shipping fee was free that it's still saving me gas and time. While I pretty much assume at the prices that I am not buying from Nordstrom and assuming some greater stipulations of purchase, I promise if I do have a not so great experience with them I will update. Also, don't know about the counterfeit accusations. I have serial numbers on some of the items I have bought and they all are legit. I also have inside knowledge of high end fashion manufacturing in my career to know that even the non-brand-name goods are of superior quality material and construction. I wish everyone else had these same experiences I have had with Yoox. It's sad to see they have reports they didn't.
YOOX takes years of learning to get it right
It took me years of YOOX shopping to figure out what the heck their crazy system is. Yes, the descriptions are woefully lacking, and I'd much prefer that they allowed customers to leave reviews on items until they're completely out of stock, but the thing that's made me stick with the site is the fact that I've figured out how to end up with goods that were made in Italy or other parts of Europe, from shoes to clothes and bags. They don't always have the lowest price, but they do always have unique European pieces that you're never going to find at American department stores (they also sell plenty of stuff made in China, so it's not all high-end). If you like shopping through a site that has a high amount of stock for all of the merchandise being sold, that has a lot of photos of the items from every angle, that allows customer reviews, and that doesn't deal in a lot of past-season pieces, then YOOX probably isn't for you. But if you like to hunt down distinctive pieces that you're not going to see on anyone else in your town, YOOX is definitely for you. I've never had customer service or shipping issues in the several years I've been a customer, even when one of my shipments came all the way from Italy.
A very good value
I ordered an Emporio Armani blazer which had struck me as totally unique (gray mesh semi-synthetic). The item was exactly as ordered, fits well, and is extremely cool. There is NOTHING in Canadian stores like it. Got it on sale, and the service was very fast and efficient. It is a great piece, and adds a lot to my wardrobe. It becomes whatever color you wear under it, which is way cool. I like to pair it with a dark violet or neutral shirt and faux leather or a knitted tie - looks great and makes me feel like a million bucks.
As a cancer patient, dignity is a very big thing to me, and this item fits the bill 100%. My girlfriend (who is blind), cannot stop running her hands over it. It was a very good experience, but unfortunately (fortunately?) women are drawn to it, mostly for the texture and unique design. I've had several complete strangers (9 women so far) come up and want to feel it; good for a few laughs, although my girlfriend is not so impressed. Not bad though, for an average-looking 57 year-old guy.
I highly recommend YOOX for unique or high end wear. Lots of choice, don't be shy, have a bit of fun. YOOX is a mandatory stop 'n shop for the gentleman looking for a bit of flair in his look.
I think that pretty-well covers it. This was a very good purchase.
My experience with YOOX was Great!
I was initially worried about ordering from YOOX because of the MANY bad reviews, but I really wanted a pair of shoes that i couldn't find anywhere else. I ordered the Skechers Premium Heritage D'lites 3.0 - Joy Summer. After ordering i called customer service to make sure my order had went thru and they were nice and helpful. When I received an email saying my order had shipped I hit the Track Order button and on the UPS website it said order not found. I called customer service and told them the problem they said it can take up to 24hrs to show up in the system. I checked the next day on UPS and I was able to track my order. I live in the United States in Virginia. I ordered the shoes on Friday, July 17,2020 and received them Wednesday, July 22,2020. I didn't pay for expedited shipping, just regular shipping. I have bought things here in the United States that haven't arrived as quick as that. When my shoes arrived they were in perfect condition. Even the box they put my shoebox in to ship it to me was great. It was like one of those thick type boxes that companies ship to people so they can return their game console, (like Xbox or playstation), to be repaired. I had a great experience with customer service, shipping, and with the product I ordered. I will definitely buy from them again and would recommend them to people.
Where 90% of my wardrobe was bought
This review was given to Yoox US after placing 160+ orders over a 4-year period. Sales terms and conditions and customer service may differ in other markets. Some of the reviews here are entirely fabricated. Please judge with common sense.
Yoox Net-a-Porter group is the world's largest designer fashion online retailer. Yoox owns and sells an enormous collection of off-season designer products acquired from brands and retailers at sale price all year round. Yoox has completely changed my relationship with designer fashion from unfamiliar and unrelatable to a wealth of knowledge of the market and brands, because it made designer fashion more affordable and accessible. On Yoox you will find up and coming brands, obscure niche brands, heritage luxury brands, brands that no longer exist today, and the vast collection of contemporary brands at prices that drop overtime.
I've always used free standard shipping delivered by UPS and Yoox has consistently fulfilled my orders within the time frame it stated (usually quicker than 5-8 business days). I can count the number of defective products or wrong orders I received in one hand. This rate is reasonable considering its transaction volume. Yoox customer care has been fair and efficient in issuing refund or price adjustment. If Yoox is responsible for the return, return shipping is free and full refund includes sales tax.
Your finance is protected by the law. Yoox as a public company is unlikely to conduct business in a way that causes your financial loss. Although I've had a few negative encounters with customer care, I'm very pleased with Yoox's service as a whole and believe my opinion based on 4 years of frequent interactions with them can give you the confidence you need.
YOOX Review: Great Deals on High-End Brands, Easy Returns, but Poor Listing Info and Shipping Changes
I've been shopping with YOOX for over three years now, and I have to say, I'm almost always happy with my purchases. They may not always be perfect, but if you don't expect too much from them, they're a great place to shop. Here's my personal take on YOOX.
Pros:
- They have great deals on high-end brands that I can't find anywhere else, especially Italian brands (since YOOX is an Italian company).
- They offer fascinating promotional offers almost every week, although sometimes they're just repetitive or degraded versions of previous offers.
- Their return process is incredibly easy, and if you choose "moneyoox" as your refund method, you get free return shipping.
- Customer service is fairly quick to respond, usually within 0-1 business day. I've contacted them 4-5 times and have always received desirable or OK responses.
Cons:
- Their listing information is quite poor, with inadequate measurements and composite photos.
- They often change the shipping fee status or listings in the middle of ongoing promotional offers. For example, they might start a promotion with free shipping on orders over $150, then change it to orders over $100. Sometimes, items in the "dream box" disappear suddenly in the middle of a promotion, even though they're not really sold out, and then come back 2-3 weeks later. It's quite ununderstandable.
- Sometimes they need extra time to ship the package out, usually 2-3 days, but up to 5 days if the item comes from Italy.
- The return process can be a bit slow, taking 2-3 days to receive a notice email after they've received the return package, and up to 5 days for the return process to be completed. However, I've never had any problems with their return process, and I trust them completely.
Overall, I'm happy with YOOX and prefer it over other online shopping sites. However, I've learned to be a smart shopper and avoid buying unreturnable items, since the listing information isn't always trustworthy or helpful. I also choose moneyoox as my refund method to get free return shipping, since I buy from them at least once a month.
YOOX Review: My Go-To for Unique, High-Quality Clothing
I gotta say, I'm pretty surprised by all the negative reviews I've seen on here about YOOX. I've been shopping with them for seven years now and I've never had a problem with the quality of the clothes or getting a refund. Honestly, I was a bit shocked when I looked through my receipts and realized I'd spent over ?10K in that time period. I mean, I knew I liked shopping there, but I didn't realize I was that addicted! Thankfully, I've cut back a bit since then, but I still check out the site and make purchases every now and then.
If I had one complaint about YOOX, it's that there's almost too much choice. Even if you narrow down your search criteria, you can still end up with pages and pages of options. I mean, I once searched for size L men's casual trousers and ended up with 76 pages of results! It can be a bit overwhelming, but I guess it's better to have too many options than not enough.
I do agree with some of the other reviews that the quality of some premium brand items can be a bit hit or miss. I once bought a D&G shirt for ?160 that didn't feel as nice as a heavily discounted ?30 shirt from another brand. But honestly, I've noticed that same thing with premium brand clothing in high street stores too. Sometimes you're paying for the name more than the quality.
The thing I love most about YOOX is the sheer variety of options. I live in a big city in the UK, but I still haven't seen anyone else wearing the same clothes as me. I've found so many unique pieces on YOOX that I wouldn't have been able to find anywhere else. It's definitely my go-to for statement pieces and one-of-a-kind finds.
I have had a couple of issues over the years with items being the wrong size or falling apart after a few wears. But honestly, that's happened to me with clothes from high street stores too. YOOX has always been quick to reimburse me for any faulty items and their return process is super easy. They even include a pre-printed return slip in the parcel, so all you have to do is fill out the online form and drop it off at your nearest UPS outlet.
Overall, I'm a huge fan of YOOX and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for unique, high-quality clothing. My wardrobe is practically overflowing with YOOX finds and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Unfair Business Practices and Bad Customer Service: My Experience with Yoox
Yoox is a company that has been engaging in unfair business practices and providing bad customer service. During my correspondence with them, I was misled and deceived. Despite my attempts to get a refund for a gift order and a returned item, they have not refunded me the total amount of 532. To make matters worse, when I demanded answers, they blocked my Twitter account. This behavior is unacceptable, and we must speak out against it.
I urge all those who have suffered from unfair and deceptive trade practices to join me in a public discussion of these issues. We must say no to these practices and demand better treatment from online shops. It is time for consumers to revolt against this kind of degrading behavior.
On a personal note, I had purchased gifts for my father and brother, but had to return them due to size issues. Now, I am left without time to buy new gifts because Yoox has not refunded me on time. This is outrageous and unacceptable.
I ask that you spread the word about Yoox's behavior on Twitter and other social media platforms. We must all add our voices together to stop these unfair and deceptive practices. As a law student from the Netherlands, I believe that it is important to hold companies accountable for their actions. Yoox must be held accountable for their poor customer service and unfair business practices.
As a company that retails luxury fashion, Yoox should be providing a premium level of customer service. However, their behavior has been appalling. While I understand that they may be trying to cut costs, this should not come at the expense of their customers. We deserve better treatment, and we must demand it.
Terrible Customer Service and Misleading Policies at Yoox Asia: A Review
I gotta say, my experience with Yoox Asia was the worst. Their customer service is just plain terrible. First off, I could barely hear the person on the other end because their voice was all distorted. Then, when I called to ask about an order I had just placed two days earlier, they told me that their records showed I had already received it. That's impossible since they say it takes 3-6 working days to receive an item. The customer service operator didn't even realize that I had just placed the order two days ago.
When I complained about the service and asked to speak to a supervisor, things only got worse. The supervisor was even more unhelpful than the customer service operator. She promised to call me back right away but never did. When I finally got an email from her two days later, she didn't even address my concerns. I had told her that the item I wanted was the last one, so it was urgent, but she completely ignored that. And when I asked why she didn't ask someone else to inform me, she just ignored my question.
To make matters worse, they wouldn't let me speak to their manager and kept evading my request. And get this: even though my order was for $408, they still charged me for shipping, even though they say that any order over $200 ships for free. When I asked for a refund of the shipping fee, the manager of the supervisor I had spoken to told me they wouldn't do it.
And don't even get me started on their refund policy. They didn't seem to have a clue about it, and they couldn't even tell me if an item was still available. The supervisor, who was supposed to be informed, told me she didn't know, even though it was clearly stated on their website.
To top it all off, when I spoke to their supervisor, all I could hear was her dog barking in the background. When I mentioned it to her, she got upset and became rude. And when I asked to speak to another supervisor, she told me she was the only one.
I've bought from other online stores like Farfetch, Mr. Porter, Giulio, and Raffaello, and I've never had an experience like this. Yoox is just plain uninformed, misleading, lazy, dismissive, and rude. I'll never deal with them again. I'll just search for the same products on other websites.
YOOX Review: Terrible Customer Service and Delayed Refund Process
This was a really bad experience, I gotta say. I had to return something and got a confirmation that the money was refunded to my card. But then a whole month went by and nothing showed up. So I called customer service and talked to this lady named Monica. She was a real snob, let me tell you. She said the money had already been refunded, but then she offered to use my PayPal account to get the refund to me. I was like, hold up, how can you offer another refund through PayPal when we haven't even figured out what happened to the first one? I asked her when the refund was processed to my card, but she just cut me off and said someone from accounting would contact me.
So I waited another two weeks and heard nothing. They said all communication with accounting is done through email, so I finally called again. And guess who picked up? Monica again! I asked to speak to a supervisor, but she said there wasn't one on duty that day. I asked for a name, but she said she couldn't give me one because there were several supervisors. I asked for any supervisor's name for my records, and she put me on hold for 10 minutes. Finally, this lady named Ana picked up and said she was the supervisor. But when I asked for her last name, she said she doesn't give it out. I asked if it was company policy not to give out last names, and she said yes. But she also said she was the only Ana in the company. She promised someone would contact me by email before the end of the day, but she didn't seem to care about my complaint about Monica.
Finally, I got an email from "Yoox accounting." Here's what it said:
Thank you for contacting yoox.com.
After reviewing your refund, we are unable to issue a refund back to the card used for purchase due to a recent system update. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
So that we may refund you most efficiently and promptly, please kindly provide a PayPal email address in which we can return the funds to you directly.
Thank you in advance for your reply,
Customer Care
yoox.com
So it turns out Monica was lying about the refund all along. This has caused a lot of pain and wasted time for customers like me. I looked up their reviews and found a lot of negative ones. I reported my experience to the BBB and I encourage others to do the same if they've had a bad experience. As of now, I still haven't received my refund from YOOX.
Yoox Review: A Mixed Bag of Designer Deals and Disappointments
I gotta tell ya, Yoox is a bit of a mixed bag. I've shopped there a few times over the years, and let me tell you, it's a real crapshoot. For every five items I've ordered, I've had to return three or four. It's a real bummer, because I was hoping to find some great deals on designer clothes and shoes. But it seems like if it's too good to be true, it probably is.
Take, for example, a pair of shoes that retail for $300. On Yoox, they're listed for $89. Now, call me crazy, but that just doesn't add up. Sure, the items are usually original, but there's something off about them. Maybe they're faulty, or maybe they're just inventory that's been dumped there for some other reason. Whatever the case may be, it's not what you were expecting.
And don't even get me started on customer service. It's like they're not even trying. It's a real shame, because I was hoping for a better experience. But I guess that's just the way it goes sometimes.
That being said, I have ordered from Yoox while living in the US, Europe, and China. Shipping has been okay, and the packaging has been fine. But sometimes you can tell that an item has been around the world and rejected by many before it even gets to you. And sizing is a real issue. I wear a 46 European, but even when I order a smaller size, it still ends up being way too big. It's like the sizing is all over the place.
And don't even get me started on the material differences. I've bought shoes that I already own and paid retail for, but the ones from Yoox are made from different materials. It's like they're made specifically for online sales, and the quality just isn't the same. I've even talked to people in the shoe production industry in China, and they've told me that online-bound items are different than retail store stuff. It's crazy!
So, all in all, Yoox is a bit of a gamble. You might get lucky and find something great, but more often than not, you'll end up returning it. It's a shame, really, because I was hoping for a better experience. But I guess that's just the way it goes sometimes.
YOOX Customer Service is a Disaster: My Experience with a Damaged Jimmy Choo Bag
I've been a customer at YOOX for a while now, and I have to say, it's become a complete disaster! I ordered a Jimmy Choo bag for 400 euros, and it arrived damaged with scratches all over it! Plus, it didn't come with the original box or certificate of authenticity, which is something that all items from this brand should have. I called customer service right away, and they told me to send the item back and also send them photos. They said they would respond right away to see if they could offer me a discount on my next purchase as a gesture of goodwill. I did everything they asked, but after two days, I still hadn't received an email from them. I called again and spent 15 minutes explaining the situation, and they told me the same thing - send an email with photos, and we'll respond the same day. Three days later, still no news! I called AGAIN, and this time I was already angry. I spent another 15 minutes explaining the situation, and they told me not to worry, they would offer me a free return and refund even though I had exceeded the deadline. Are they kidding me?! There's a free return policy for up to 100 days after delivery, and I sent the item back just two days after receiving it! What kind of generosity is that? Or are they just stupid?! I called AGAIN (yes, I was already annoyed), and after another 15 minutes of wasted time, the guy promised me that he would record all the details and send an email directly to their Berlin office, who would get back to me within 3-5 days. He said they could offer me a 20% discount or more on my next purchase as a gesture of goodwill. A week later, NOTHING! I called AGAIN, and as usual, I had to explain everything again. The woman told me that her colleague had not left any notes, and he had not informed the higher-ups in Berlin! She also said that she could exceptionally offer me express delivery for my next purchase, and that was the maximum they could do! This is really a joke! I told her to listen to the previous calls (because they're all recorded) and see what her colleague promised me! She said it was a mistake and not possible. So, they think they don't have to offer goodwill gestures to regular customers when it's their fault and their mistake! They promise to get back to customers, but they NEVER do! I still haven't received an email or call from their higher-ups, even after multiple emails. I'm seriously considering preparing a legal case against them! They're LIARS!
Disappointing Experience with Yoox: Poor Customer Service and Unreliable Partner Sellers
I've been a customer of Yoox for over a decade and I must say that my recent experience with them has been quite disappointing. I placed an order for a watch on their website on September 15th, 2022, with the intention of gifting it to my girlfriend. However, the order status on their website remained as "shipped" for a long time and I started to get worried. I contacted the Yoox partner seller via email and was informed that the order might have been lost in transit and they would send a new one. However, this information was not updated on Yoox's website.
On October 1st, 2022, I still hadn't received the order and I decided to cancel it as my girlfriend's birthday had already passed. However, the seller informed me that cancellation was no longer possible. The order was finally delivered on October 5th, 2022, but I was already on vacation. I contacted the seller and informed them that I no longer needed the watch and wanted to return it. However, the seller refused to accept the return and asked me to accept the order and then send it back.
When I received the order, I noticed that it was poorly packed and had to reseal it with new white foil. I emailed the seller twice but received no response. I finally had to report a conflict situation to PayPal to get the seller's attention. They refused to provide a returns form and asked me to pay for the shipping myself. I did so and sent the item back in the same condition as I received it. However, the seller claimed that the item was completely damaged and not compliant with their return policy. This is a complete lie as I did not even open the package and have witnesses who can attest to this.
I received a response from Yoox via PayPal stating that the seller could not accept the return and the package was returned to me at their expense. This is unacceptable as I did not break the watch and I wanted to return it from the start. It is clear that the seller sent me a broken item from the beginning and this is fraud. I demand my money back immediately.
Overall, my experience with Yoox has been quite frustrating and I would not recommend them to anyone. Their partner sellers are not reliable and their customer service is lacking. I hope they take steps to improve their services and ensure that their customers are not ripped off in the future.
YOOX Accused of Selling Counterfeit Designer Items to Customers
I recently discovered that YOOX no longer charges VAT and duties for UK customers, which was great news for me as I've been a loyal customer for almost 20 years. However, I have had some issues with their customer service in the past, so I hope that has improved. Despite this, I have made some considerable purchases from them over the past month and was rewarded with a ?100 voucher to spend on a non-discounted item worth more than the voucher's value. I was thrilled to finally purchase a pair of Valentino shades that I had been eyeing for some time. These had disappeared from my dream box before but reappeared later, leading me to believe that they had been purchased and returned by someone else. I paid ?165 for them, down from the original price of ?265.
When the glasses arrived today, I was excited to open them up. The box was carefully and beautifully wrapped in paper, but my initial feeling was that they were not genuine. They felt unusually light and flimsy, and even the golden surrounding ring covering the lens on the back was poorly fitted, with the left lens not in coordination with the right. The printings of the letters, the earpiece, and temple-tip were not fitted properly on both sides, which are typical giveaways for fakes. I have a dozen expensive designer shades, and I would notice miles away if they were counterfeit. I have posted pictures of the glasses I received, and you can easily see the big differences between them and the genuine glasses on YOOX's website.
I contacted YOOX and told them about my findings, but they denied that they would send a fake item. I sent the glasses back and asked them to compare them with a pair from a Valentino shop. I would like either the authentic pair sent to me or my ?100 voucher to use on another item of the same specifications. I am not okay with being sold fake designer pieces and having my hard-earned voucher stolen away in the process. We are in correspondence, but I don't have high hopes for them as I've seen on the web customers being ripped off before.
I am posting this review because I have seen this happen before with YOOX. A couple of years ago, I ordered a pair of Sergio Rossi boots that were also fake. I know this because I tried the authentic ones at the store. I also had a children's Burberry coat that wasn't of the same high quality I'm used to seeing from the brand. With these designers, I wouldn't believe for a moment that YOOX would sell fake items, as I've been a very happy and loyal customer for almost 20 years. I've purchased many designer pieces that I've been very happy with and never believed were fake. So, I buried my worries that they were not guilty and deceiving their customers. Instead, I thought the reason could be that the designers themselves have started to cut corners with poor quality to make a profit. I've seen this before and stopped buying from these designers. I then stopped buying from Sergio Rossi and Burberry because of what happened.
However, as this has happened one more time, I don't believe it's a coincidence anymore. I believe YOOX knows what they are doing and has been selling counterfeit articles for some time now, deceiving customers into thinking they are purchasing authentic designer items. It's a shame because I've been a loyal customer for almost 20 years, but I cannot support a company that engages in such practices.
Yoox.com: Deceptive, Unreliable, and Poor Customer Service
I'm a VIP member of yoox.com, and I usually receive free shipping when I shop on their app. However, yesterday I was shopping on the app, but the app continuously failed to apply my free shipping privilege. That's because the app was unstable due to heavy customer traffic (yoox.com is having a big sale this week). I called customer service and told them that the app does not allow me to have my free shipping privilege. The employee told me that I should use the website, and he would make a note in the file so that I can be reimbursed for shipping cost. He said that I should call back immediately after placing the order, and someone will issue me a refund because he left information in my file for a refund to be granted.
After placing the order, I called and spoke to a customer service representative who told me that there was no information on file about granting me a refund, and that they cannot give me a refund for shipping cost as promised. A few hours later, I called and spoke to a different employee about the refund that yoox promised me for shipping cost due to their unstable and faulty app. The employee told me that she could issue a refund, but that I had to wait on the phone while she processed the refund. After waiting on the phone for about 17 minutes, she returned and told me to check my email for a refund confirmation.
I received an email from yoox.com, which clearly stated that I was promised a refund for shipping cost. However, today I received another email from them, stating that they are unable to waive shipping unless there is a valid reason or screenshot of this promise made. As for the status of my order, it is currently in transit from the Italian warehouse to their US Distribution Center. They also provided me with a Tracking Number, which I can use to check the delivery status from the My Order section of their Customer Care area, or by inserting my Tracking Number on the UPS website. I can also call UPS at United States: ***892.
I called yoox.com again today to ask for the refund that they promised for my shipping cost. However, they told me that they will not keep their promise to reimburse me, and that the case was closed. I'm very disappointed with yoox.com, as they have no regard or respect for their customers. Their employees lie and deceive customers on a daily basis because they have no authority to resolve customer issues.
I've been shopping with yoox.com for more than 3 years now, and they have deceived and lied to me many times. They ask VIP customers to complete surveys in exchange for discount codes, then they never send you any discount codes, or they will send you fake codes that don't work. Their express shipping is always late, and they will refuse to refund your express shipping cost after failing to deliver your package on time.
Recently, they have been selling used clothing and shoes. Customers are wearing the clothing and shoes, then returning them to yoox. Yoox will then turn around and sell the used clothing and shoes to innocent customers. This year, 2022, I have received used clothing with perspiration stains on the neck and under the arms, and smells very stink, with human hairs all over the clothing. I have also received a pair of shoes with the soles covered in mud.
Yoox needs to improve their quality control at their warehouses, stop selling used clothes and shoes, and keep their promises to customers, especially their express shipping promise to deliver packages in 4 to 6 business days. I'm considering not doing business with yoox.com anymore.
Now yoox is using workers from Indonesia, Tunisia, and other non-English speaking countries to answer their phones. Their phone service is extremely poor now, worse than it has ever been in the last 3 years. Workers have almost no English speaking skills. Yoox is willing to sacrifice customer loyalty and satisfaction for a few extra dollars in profits. Just remember yoox! There are other online platforms that offer the same and similar items for equal or better prices. I do not encourage anyone to shop with this company. It will cost you lots of stress, time, and money.
Yoox Complaints 40
order 1409YAE182338C
I have been a yoox customer for 8-9 years despite the eroding customer service. this was the final punch. I recently purchased a skirt, a sweater and a coat. the coat was on sale for $700 and change dollars, I thought about it several times before I bought it. It was expensive but I finally decided that it was worth the investment at $700 change. When...
Read full review of YooxMisrepresentation of Item
I am a three-year active customer on YOOX. Recently I purchased a "last item" pair of Testoni shoes that were listed as a size 13. I have purchased shoes before on YOOX that were size 13 and never had an issue. I understand the policy governing last item purchases. However, when the shoes arrived and I tried them on, they were clearly not a size 13. They were too small and the size on the box was overwritten by a black marker. There was a small sticker on there that looked like a 12 (maybe size?).
I contacted customer service and explained the issue and they claimed the "last item" policy states no returns. My contention is that if you misrepresent the size of an item and the customer gets an incorrect item, there should be a recourse whether it is an exchange, credit or refund.
I will likely just donate the shoes to charity, but I was so agitated by their flip response, I decided to terminate my account with YOOX.
Desired outcome: if you misrepresent the size of an item and the customer gets an incorrect item, there should be a recourse whether it is an exchange, credit or refund.
worst customer service and no refund after 12 days of returning items!
I have unfortunately made an order by YOOX. I wanted to cancel immediately, as I have chosen the wrong payment method, but it was not possible. A change of the payment method was not possible either. So I have received the package and immediately, next day morning I did return 3 pair out of 4 pair of shoes.
This happened on the 21st of July. Since then I am waiting to receive over 300 EUR back! Each time the customer care sends other time frames as normal, 3 days plus 4, 6,7 whatever. So here I am very short before a police report over my lawyer, as I never have experienced such an impertinence of being a customer anywhere else before. So I will immediately delete all my profile once I get my refund.
Desired outcome: I want my refund ASAP

Highly recommended, but caution will not hurt.

Yoox.com you are considering visiting, which is associated with Yoox, is very old. This could be an indication of a very positive reputation.
Several positive reviews for Yoox have been found on various review sites. While this may be a good sign, it is important to approach these reviews with caution and consider the possibility of fake or biased reviews.
Yoox website is deemed to be popular and indicating that it receives a high volume of traffic. It is important to be cautious when using a highly trafficked website, as it may be a target for cybercriminals looking to exploit vulnerabilities or steal personal information.

The payment procedure on the website is also relatively simple and straightforward, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience for buyers.
However ComplaintsBoard has detected that:
- While Yoox has a high level of trust, our investigation has revealed that the company's complaint resolution process is inadequate and ineffective. As a result, only 0% of 40 complaints are resolved. The support team may have poor customer service skills, lack of training, or not be well-equipped to handle customer complaints.
- Yoox protects their ownership data, a common and legal practice. However, from our perspective, this lack of transparency can impede trust and accountability, which are essential for establishing a credible and respected business entity.
Disappointing Customer Service Experience with YOOX: Ignored Emails and Refund Issues
I was a really happy customer of YOOX, and I ordered a lot of clothes from them. But my last experience has left me feeling disappointed and unsure if I will shop there again. I bought two of the same items because the price had dropped, and I returned one of them. However, YOOX refunded me for the wrong order - the second one, which had a lower price. They even made a return request for that order themselves in my profile! I contacted customer service, but their responses were just generic copy-paste answers. I had to explain the situation all over again in every email. It was frustrating.
Finally, they confirmed that they received the return I really sent and would refund me with the correct amount. But days passed, and nothing happened. I wrote to them again, but they ignored several of my emails. It was very unprofessional and disappointing. I couldn't believe they didn't care about losing loyal customers.
After I left a review on Trustpilot, customer service contacted me and asked me to send them a code from the item. I asked them why they needed it and what the problem was, but they didn't respond. Finally, they refunded me for the correct return (the price difference).
I decided to return both of the same items I bought, but I couldn't because the return request for the non-refunded order was blocked - YOOX made it themselves. When I tried to open it, it said I couldn't return any more items (even though I hadn't returned any). I contacted customer care again, and they asked me for photos of the item and the code. I didn't see the point of that, but I sent them anyway.
After that, there was no response again for days, and they ignored my emails. I couldn't believe they continued to act the same way after the first strange situation. It's really disappointing to see a company treat their customers like this. I hope they improve their customer service in the future.
YOOX's Customer Service Falls Short: A Disappointing Experience
I've been a customer of YOOX for 20 years now, and I've always been satisfied with their products and services. However, my recent experience with them has been quite disappointing.
On February 5th, 2022, I made a purchase on their website and received an email confirmation shortly after. However, a few minutes later, I received another email from PayPal about a refund for a canceled order. I checked my YOOX account and saw that the order had indeed been canceled. I was confused because the item I had purchased was still available on their website.
I called their customer service a couple of days later and spoke to a supervisor named P. He told me that they didn't know why the order was canceled and that they were looking into it. He advised me not to make any more purchases until they figured out the problem.
Four days later, I called again to follow up on the issue. I spoke to a customer service representative named A, who was not very helpful. When I asked if other customers had experienced the same problem, she said she couldn't give me any personal information. I just wanted to know if there were other people having the same issue, but she wouldn't tell me. I later found out that another reviewer on the website had the same problem.
A told me that the issue had been escalated to their headquarters, which was closed for the weekend. I had to wait until Monday to find out what was going on. I was frustrated and annoyed that I had to make multiple phone calls just to get some answers.
What bothered me the most was that YOOX never reached out to me to let me know that there was an issue with my order. I had to call them three times to find out what was going on. They didn't even send me an email to apologize for the inconvenience or offer to help me make a purchase once the issue was resolved.
Overall, I'm extremely disappointed with YOOX's customer service. They get zero points from me. I hope they can improve their communication and transparency with their customers in the future.
YOOX Review: Mixed Quality and Poor Customer Service
This website is a real mixed bag. They have a huge selection of clothing, jewelry, handbags, belts, and more for both men and women. The designers and manufacturers are all Italian, which sounds fancy and high-end, but the reality is that the clothing is often flimsy and poorly represented. The discounts they claim to offer are also questionable, as there's no real way to compare prices with other retailers.
But the real kicker is their customer service. I had a really frustrating experience with them recently. I placed an order and then found out that it had been delivered to New Jersey, even though I live in California. I contacted UPS, who told me to contact PayPal since that's how I paid for the order. But when I reached out to YOOX to ask for help, I got a really strange email from someone warning me not to make any future "claims" against them or I'd be blocked from ordering again. It was really aggressive and made me feel like they didn't care about my problem at all.
After I wrote them a strongly worded letter, they did eventually apologize and refund my money without asking me to return the items. But then, when I tried to place another order a few days later, they confirmed it and then cancelled it within the same day without any explanation or apology. It was really frustrating and made me feel like they don't value their customers at all.
Overall, I would say that YOOX is a website to approach with caution. They have a lot of items to choose from, but the quality can be hit or miss, and their customer service is really lacking. If you're willing to take a risk and deal with potential issues, then go ahead and shop with them. But if you want a more reliable and customer-friendly experience, you might want to look elsewhere.
YOOX Review: Terrible Return Policies and Shoddy Products
I gotta say, I had a pretty rough experience with YOOX. I saw some cute clothes on their website and decided to give it a shot. I ordered a few things, but unfortunately, they didn't fit quite right. So, I decided to return them. That's when things started to go downhill.
Late one night, I accidentally hit the wrong button and ended up with store credit instead of a refund to my credit card. I immediately sent an email to customer service explaining my mistake, but they claimed they never received it. So, I was stuck with store credit that I didn't want.
I tried to use the credit to buy a couple of items, but they didn't work out either. When I returned them, YOOX actually increased the amount of my store credit instead of refunding my credit card. I was so frustrated! I called customer service to complain, but they just pointed me to some legal disclaimer buried on their website. It took me seven whole months to finally use up the store credit.
To make matters worse, I also bought a Marni bag from YOOX that fell apart after just a few wears. The shoulder strap was glued instead of sewn, and it separated. And now, the latch is broken too. I'm so disappointed in the quality of their products.
I will say that YOOX does have a huge selection of clothes and accessories, but they really need some competition. Net-a-porter is way too expensive, and Zappos couture doesn't have nearly as many options. But with YOOX's terrible return policies and shoddy products, I don't know if I'll be shopping there again anytime soon.
Mixed Experience with YOOX: Delayed Refund and Technical Error
I gotta say, I'm a bit worried after reading some of the reviews about YOOX (yoox.com). But I've been a loyal customer for a while now and haven't had any issues until recently. I ordered some items in December and had to return a few before Christmas. I got an email in early January saying my return had been accepted and I was expecting my refund soon. But then things started to slow down. I noticed that order processing and shipping were taking longer than usual. And now, after reading some of the other reviews, I'm starting to wonder if I'll ever get my refund.
But then, on January 4th, I finally got an email saying my refund had been requested and that it would depend on my credit card company. I was relieved to hear that things were moving forward. But then, on February 23rd, I got another email saying there had been a technical error and they couldn't process my refund to my original form of payment. I was pretty frustrated at this point, but they did offer me a YOOXCODE for 15% off and free express shipping. So that was something, I guess.
They also said they had issued my refund in the form of Moneyoox, which would apply automatically to my next purchase while logged into my account. But if I wanted an alternative to Moneyoox, I could contact them with a PayPal account to transfer the balance to. I'm still a bit skeptical, but I appreciate that they're trying to make things right. I just hope they can get their act together and start processing refunds in a timely manner.
YOOX Review: Nightmare Customer Service and Missing Refund
I gotta say, my experience with YOOX has been a complete nightmare. I bought this Marni top for ?157 on May 9th, but it just wasn't working for me. So, I decided to return it on May 18th by taking it to a UPS drop off point. Unfortunately, they couldn't scan the label that YOOX had sent me. I was pretty frustrated, but I called up YOOX customer service and they told me to contact UPS and ask them to fill out a Waybill to return the item. I did that on May 20th, and I made sure that everything was filled out correctly before sending it back.
But then, I didn't hear anything from YOOX for a whole month. So, I called them up on June 5th to ask about the return. They told me that they still hadn't received the item and that they would open an investigation. They said that I would hear back from them in 8-10 working days.
Well, it's now the end of July and I still haven't heard anything from them. I've called them back every 8-10 days, but they just keep telling me that they're waiting to hear from UPS and that someone will definitely contact me soon. But today, when I called for the fifth time since June, they told me that there was nothing they could do and that I couldn't speak to a supervisor or get the name of someone to complain to. I'm beyond frustrated and angry at this point. As a consumer, I feel like I have rights and that YOOX should have procedures in place for refunds when things go missing in transit.
I'm planning on contacting the consumer watchdog and spreading the word about how inefficient this company is. I definitely don't recommend buying from YOOX. Their customer service is a complete joke and they clearly don't care about their customers.
YOOX: Disappointing Customer Service and Wrong Order Delivery
I am so frustrated with this company, it's unbelievable. This was my first and last time ordering from them. I sent them an email to express my disappointment, but I doubt they will even read it.
I was excited when I first found out about YOOX because they were the only company that had the Pharrell William Adidas in stock for little girls. My daughter starts school on August 13th, so I thought these shoes would be perfect for her first day of Pre-K. She wears a size 12, so I ordered a size 12, which was confirmed in my order confirmation. However, when I received my order, I was disappointed to find out that I did not receive a size 12. Instead, I got a size 11 1/2.
I called Customer Care to explain the situation, but the representative was not helpful at all. She told me that I needed to go to UPS and return the shoes. First of all, don't tell me what I need to do. Secondly, it was not my mistake in the first place. I have to take time out of my day to return some shoes I did not order. If the warehouse did not have the size 12 in stock, then why was I not notified of this so that I could get my money back in the beginning? Why do I have to wait until the last minute to receive some shoes I did not order and then determine if I will send them back or not? That's not customer care!
I'm beyond frustrated. It's very inconvenient for me. I don't think this is right. The shoes cost way more than other retailers also, so basically I was tricked in so many ways by this company. From getting the wrong size to being told what to do by "customer care" before I even made a decision, that's ridiculous. Now I have to find my daughter some more shoes because I'm stuck with these shoes. There's no way I should have to go through this. I order online all the time, and I must say this has been my first problem. I did not expect this from a well-known company like YOOX.
I hope they take my complaint seriously and do something about it. I'm not happy about this at all.
Disappointing Quality Control: My Experience with YOOX
I recently purchased a dsquarde jacket from YOOX and was excited to receive it quickly. However, upon opening the package, I was disappointed to find that the jacket was damaged. I immediately contacted YOOX and was told that my only option was to send it back for a refund. I was frustrated that they would send a damaged jacket in the first place.
After sending the jacket back, I decided to give YOOX another chance and purchased the same jacket again. Unfortunately, I received another damaged jacket. I called customer service multiple times and was finally told that they would issue a refund and offer me a 20% discount code for my next purchase.
While I appreciate the effort to make things right, I am disappointed in the quality control at YOOX. It seems like they have blind people working in their warehouse, as sending two damaged jackets is unacceptable. I also think that some brands should not allow YOOX to sell their products, as it reflects poorly on the brand's name.
Overall, I will not be purchasing from YOOX again. While their prices may be lower, I would rather pay a bit more to order directly from the original brand's site and have the peace of mind knowing that I am getting a quality product.
YOOX Overcharging for Sales Tax: A Clear Case of Fraud
Been shopping at YOOX for more than a decade now and I gotta say, their merchandise is top-notch. But when it comes to customer service, it's a whole different story. Just recently, I tried to place an order but noticed that the tax computation on their website was way off. I didn't push through with the order and called their customer service instead. The agent who answered was a real piece of work - rude, arrogant, and didn't seem to understand what I was trying to say.
So, I decided to write a letter to their customer service and even sent it to four members of their corporate staff, hoping to get an explanation or at least a response about the tax discrepancy on their website. But guess what? I didn't get any response from anyone.
Out of curiosity, I tried to place an order again later that week and got the same result. For context, the sales tax in Seattle, where I live, is 10.25%. But YOOX was charging me 11.8%. Is this some kind of algorithm gone rogue or is YOOX trying to pull off a scam? I'm not the only one wondering.
I even tried to place the same order with a different address in a different state and lo and behold, there was still a tax discrepancy. I attached some images to prove my point. These screenshots were taken from the YOOX website for items at different price points on various days over the past week and a half. As you can see, YOOX is overcharging for sales tax by a significant amount.
I'm not one to accuse without proof, so I filed a complaint with the US Federal Trade Commission and the WA State Attorney General. It's clear as day that this is fraud. YOOX needs to get their act together and fix this issue ASAP.
Customer Service
I have been shopping from YOOX since 2000, and for most part things have been ok, but when there are issues, customer service is not only incompetent, but they outright lack any sense of customer service and customer care. I really hope leadership make some significant changes. For instance, I asked to speak with a manager or a supervisor, and I was told that they would not allow that. This is unbelievable.
Desired outcome: I like my shipping issues to be resolved by Yoox and a manager/supervisor to contact me

Timberland handbag
I purchased a Timberland handbag for £62; three days later the price was reduced to £49, so I purchased it again. Within the return terms, I return one of the bags to get £62 back, but they refunded me £49 not £62. The two bags are identical. I just want a refund of £13, the difference between the two prices, as it is my right as the consumer to get it at the cheaper price.
Customer service non existent
I have placed 2 orders with Yoox, the one order has an incorrect size and neither order has been dispatched (which is worrying). I tried to contact the call centre and online customer care but get taken to an error website. All I want to do is change my size in pants on the order. When I put the order number into their system I get another error report. When I send a mail, I get an error report. Is this a scam? I have spent over £500
