SCAM ALERT! I bought a phone from "Canadian Outlet" through Walmart, but they sent me a phone that was obviously a model down. Then Canadian Outlet wanted me to return it directly to them instead of through Walmart, so they could "send me a new one". When I refused and told them I'd handle it through Walmart, they finally admitted the specs they put on the website were wrong and even if I reordered it through that listing, they would still send the same lower model again anyway. Then they wanted me to pay $54+tx more to get the phone with the specs I originally ordered! Bait and switch SCAM.

Then within less than 12 hours they deleted the old product listing so I couldn't make a review and reposted it with the same fake specs. What a SCAM. Thank goodness I was protected by Walmart. I returned it through them to get my money back.

I am writing because i recently purchased a google pixel 6a through walmart.ca, that was an add coming from Canadian Outlet. I purchased this phone and it is locked to the carrier, which is not only illegal in Canada but also no as advertised. Both Walmart and Verizon are unable to help me.

It was picked up Nov 7th

I have called Verizon and they cannot do anything

It is to expensive for me to return it to the brick and mortar store

Walmart.ca cant do anything with it either

I bought a cordless vacuum from an online retailer on November 4th. It was meant as a Christmas gift for my wife, and I purchased it early due to supply chain concerns. On Christmas, we found the vacuum too heavy and didn't use it. The seller was Canadian Outlet, and when I requested a refund on December 27th, they denied it, citing a 30-day return policy not mentioned in the sale terms. The main retailer offers an extended return period over the holidays, but Canadian Outlet refused to comply. I've reached out to the main retailer for help without success. I believe Canadian Outlet should align with the main retailer's policy or clearly inform customers of their own. I have email evidence for reference.
