Extremely unhappy and disappointed with the service! I ordered a device on August 18, and almost a month later, I have received nothing! I was given a Colissimo tracking number... which indicates that Colissimo, in France, has never received a package, has not taken charge of a package. I paid almost 190 euros for this product, and I got nothing, it's shameful, for a first experience on this site! If I do not have a replacement product shipped quickly, I file a complaint at the police station where I reside in France as well as a complaint in Spain, for fraud, with the police in Celrà, in Girona. TradeInn Review: Poor Customer Service and Confusing Policies for Claims and Returns
So, let me tell you about my experience with TradeInn. First of all, I have to say that if you don't purchase package insurance with Route, you might be in trouble. They don't seem to care about any damage to the package or any missing items. It's really frustrating.
I read their T&C, and apparently it's up to their discretion what they accept as proof of damage and missing items. So I followed their advice and made an unboxing video. In the video it's clearly visible what was inside the package, and what wasn't. But even with that, I had a long back and forth with customer service, and they told me that apparently there was a deadline for submitting a claim, and now they can't do anything. What deadline? Don't know. They never bothered explaining, and I never found such thing in their T&C. What claim? Don't know. I signaled my issue to them as soon as possible, sometimes it took them days to get back to me. So going past any imagined or real deadline is their fault as well for not being efficient and prompt in replying.
The only time when they mentioned something about any deadline is when they told me, out of the blue, that they need the photos in 48 hours otherwise they won't process my claim. What kind of law is this? Is it their internal policy? Again, I browsed and browsed their website and found no such thing. So it's not even there apparently. Even if it's their policy, and they put it in their T&C on their website(which they haven't so far), how legal is it? Again, it was taking them minimum 48 hours to reply to my messages, and there was a lot of unnecessary back and forth. And then they tell me I only have 48 hours to upload evidence? Based on what? That's not how it works.
I also need to give them a 1 star due to how difficult their process for filing a claim for missing items is. There's no direct way to do it, you have to go and start a return of the product that was missing, and some other unnecessary steps. It's really frustrating.
There's also their messaging system which is incredibly confusing and idiotic. Basically next to your order you have the option of 'Contact/Messages', and also after you start a return you will have the option 'View return status/Messages'. What is the difference between the two? Don't know. It was never explained. I feel like they do that to make communication more difficult for you, and they can keep referring you to contact the 'other department'. They've done that to me as well, telling me to contact them via 'internal messaging', like I'm supposed to know I was supposed to contact them that way in the first place, or what's supposed to be an 'internal message'.
Anyway, I still haven't heard back from them regarding this order/missing product, so I contacted the European Dispute Resolution. Hopefully they'll prefer talking to them instead.
This is what happens if you don't buy shipping protection. They won't care about missing products, their warehouse of course never makes mistakes. /s
But don't even get me started on Route(their shipping protection), which is probably an even more incompetent company than Tradeinn.
The only reason why I used them so frequently is because they have one of the largest selection of products in Europe as far as I'm aware. However their customer service and organization is worse than a mom and pop store's. It's really disappointing.

The delivery date had been pushed back to September 18th-19th due to one of the items being "ready for shipment on (whatever date it was at the time)." I immediately contacted TradeInn to inform them that no one would be home to receive the package on that day and that I had already moved my vacation. I also asked about the VAT for the third time, but received no clear answer.
TradeInn's response was unhelpful and they did not seem to care about my concerns. They did not even bother to read my message and responded with a generic apology. I was frustrated and stressed out, as my due date was approaching and I felt like I was not being treated like a valued customer.
To make matters worse, the delivery date was pushed back again to October 24th-25th, which was a full month later than the original estimated delivery date. I was shocked that items from Ali Express arrived sooner than items from Spain. It seems that this is their normal business conduct, based on other reviews I have read.
I want to cancel my entire order, but there is something in it for my spouse that would make him happy. However, I would not recommend TradeInn to anyone. Save yourself the time, nerves, and aggravation of dealing with such an unprofessional company and buy somewhere else.

Terrible Customer Service and Poor Quality Products: My Experience with TradeInn
I recently made a purchase from TradeInn, an online retailer that specializes in sports equipment and accessories. I was excited to receive my air hockey table, but unfortunately, my experience with this company was far from satisfactory.
Firstly, the estimated delivery date came and went, and my order had not yet been shipped. This was frustrating, as I had been eagerly anticipating the arrival of my new table. When it finally did arrive, I was disappointed to find that the product was of poor quality. The table was made of cheap cardboard, and the motor had fallen off the underside of the table, held on only by small nails and glue. To make matters worse, the whole side of the table was cracked.
I immediately contacted customer service to request a return and refund. However, the response I received was less than helpful. They asked for photos of the product and packaging, which I provided, but then honed in on a small dent in the outer box. They claimed that they could not accept a return and issue a refund because the box was damaged, and we should not have accepted the shipment. This was ridiculous, as the dent was barely noticeable, and there was no way we could have known that the item was damaged without opening the box.
I was extremely disappointed with the customer service I received from TradeInn. They were unhelpful and unsympathetic to my situation. It seemed that they were more interested in avoiding responsibility than in providing good customer service. Even if they had accepted the return, I would have had to pay $600 to ship the item back to them, and then order the item again and pay for another round of shipping, as they do not offer exchanges.
Overall, I would strongly advise against using TradeInn. Their customer service is terrible, and they do not seem to care about their customers. The quality of their products is also questionable, as my air hockey table was of very poor quality. Save yourself the hassle and avoid this company at all costs.
TradeInn Review: Disappointing Experience with Shipping Delays and Deceptive Practices
I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with my experience with TradeInn. I ordered some wheels way back on April 23rd, and they shipped out the next day. The estimated delivery date was supposed to be May 5th-8th, but it's now July 24th and I still haven't received my product. Yeah, you read that right, it's been three whole months.
Now, I get that COVID has been causing some shipping delays, but come on. When I've reached out to TradeInn about it, all they say is sorry, we can't control shipping timing during COVID. But here's the thing - shipping delays were already happening a month before I even placed my order. So why didn't they adjust their estimated shipping times accordingly?
To make matters worse, when I look at the same product now, it says the estimated shipping time to my address is only 2-3 weeks. So why is it taking me three months and counting? It feels like they're being really deceptive.
I finally decided to contact USPS to see if they could help me out. They suggested I file an inquiry, but apparently international shipping law says that the shipper (aka TradeInn) should also file an inquiry. When I asked them to do that, they just said they were in touch with USPS to make sure my package arrived. That's not really the same thing, is it?
After three months of waiting, I've finally had enough. I filed a dispute of payment with my credit card company. It's a shame, because I was really excited about these wheels. But at this point, I'm convinced that TradeInn is a total scam.
Disappointing Experience with TradeInn: Terrible Customer Service and Unfulfilled Order
I recently made a purchase on TradeInn for a suitcase as I found out last minute that I needed to move out of the country. I placed my order on May 6th and was advised that I would receive it in the UK on the 10th. However, as I write this review, it still hasn't arrived.
I have contacted every courier service affiliated with the tracking numbers listed, but each one of them keeps sending me back to TradeInn to contact the courier in Spain. Unfortunately, TradeInn has been extremely unhelpful and condescending, refusing to contact the courier themselves.
To make matters worse, I stumbled upon employee reviews where one of their employees admitted to being told to lie to customers. This has left me feeling like I may have just lost a lot of money that I cannot afford to lose.
As I continued to browse their site, I noticed that every random and very stupid item had a 4-star rating, from a pom pom that you can attach to the string of your jacket/coat to a jock cup insert or mini nail clipper. I have yet to find an item on their site with a 1-star review.
Overall, my experience with TradeInn has been extremely disappointing. Their customer service is terrible, and I am left feeling like I may never receive my order. I would not recommend this site to anyone.
