I started with Byte in early 2020, and was excited to see I was a candidate. After a few weeks using my aligners, I reported pain, and was directed to move to previous aligners. When I reached out again it was to show that the aligners were bending to accommodate my teeth, you could see where the plastic had been stretched out. I was told to move back one more set, and the same thing happened. I talked to I think 3 different people that all gave me different answers and at one point a man I talked to on the phone told me it's nothing to cry over. At this point I had serious pain and wasn't receiving any help from byte, so I went to an emergency dentist. I was told to immediately stop using the aligners that my teeth would need traditional braces and I should not have been approved as a candidate. I called Byte again to ask about the stop process and was told someone would contact me after I submitted a request. I never heard back, and instead stopped paying on the installment plan since I couldn't even use the product and should not have been a candidate. Now I sit here 3.5 years later in tears all over again because I'm being harassed to pay a remaining $1,130 when all I got was tooth damage and a $1,000 dental bill to try and help what byte messed up. I would even have been fine settling for what I had already paid for the plan and cutting my losses, however no one ever got back to me, I was constantly treated like I was being overdramatic when all I ever wanted was to smile, and now I have this major debt hanging over my head and I can't seem to find anyone that can find transcripts from my support request or conversations with reps.
Desired outcome: In a perfect world, I want my money back, however I'd like to settle this for what I've already paid toward the debt and have it removed from my credit report.
