Leon's Furniture - mistreatment

We purchased a fridge from Leons. They were to deliver on Thursday, then Friday - finally they delivered it Monday and the handle was on the wrong side. This handle cannot be switched. The only indication on the receipt to confirm in writing what side the fridge opened was: "18' R/H" - Now what would you think that meant? Right Handle? well that's what we thought too. Apparently it means "Right hinge" - now we had a long discussion with the sales representative about what side we wanted the fridge to open. He now claims we did not - so in short he claims we are liars. When we phoned to have this corrected we were told that we have to pay $100 to get a new correct fridge. How is this possible? they claim their vague description on the invoice is enough proof of the side for the handles. This is poor customer service beyond belief. They are arguing with us over $100 for a mistake they made and trying to claim it is our fault. I signed what I believe is a vague and misleading invoice. How exactly can a salesperson claim we never discussed what side a fridge should open on with a fridge that has handles that can't be moved? At best, if we didn't discuss it (which we did) it's gross incompetence on his part. will NEVER deal with these people again.

Be aware don’t buy from Leons

There is No Return Policy.

Leon's Kingston. [ Lack of customer care .] On Jan 7Th, i purchased a Mattress, box spring and bed frame, TV stand /fireplace unit .DeIivery was to be Jan 11Th.The Mattress, box-spring and bed frame came, [No Fireplace /TV Stand .]After having two sleepless nights, because The mattress was to firm, we phoned Leon's to speak to our sales person [Richard], We were told he was with a customer, he will return your call.Well we called 3 more times, he never returned our calls.I called Leon's and asked to speak to The Manager, a person came on the phone, it was not The Manager but Richard .I explained that the Mattress that we recieved was much firmer than the one we tried in the store .He said, Thats because the one in the store is old .He said we couldn't change it because we didn't purchase insurance [We were not made aware of any insurance at the time of sale ]I said you didnt offer insurance, he said i offer it to all my customers .I said why didn't you return my phone calls, he said I've had a bad month . I asked when can we expect our fireplace
to be delI'vered ? He said i will call you, i will really call you this time, A few more days went by, we went to the store, again and asked Richard, where is our Fireplace?It was paid for on Jan 7th.He said it will be here soon.

We waited until The end of The month, NO Phone call and NO fireplace .On February 1st, i returned to The store, they still couldn't gi've me date that my fireplace would be deilvered.I asked for a refund and cancelled my order .I will never shop at Leon's again .It seems to me that once they have your order, they dont care about you as a customer .They have No customer care .

OMG ! Sorry to read about your problems. I just had a major incident with Leons, Kingston and agree, their customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with. There needs to be a buyer beware for people buying from Leons. I am not letting this one go. People need to be aware and buy somewhere else.
