Interaction started Friday Aug 5th and continued on August 9th, 11th and finished on August 12th
The pharmacy team at this location is/are very unprofessional and not organized. Presented to have a test done and then was told to move to the side so that other clients (that came after me) can be taken care of. Proceeded to wait a bit and then asked again if I could proceed with my request. During the interactions I felt not heard, belittled and that I was disturbing them. Proceeded to finally have my test done and then on Aug 9th I received a voicemail stating that I can call back to have my results read or drop by to pick up the document. Aug 11th drove to the pharmacy to only get the run around and again not be provided with to much attention to my request (woman). I insisted that I need a hard copy of the results of the test to then be told to come back the next day. Insisted that a bit of effort be put into trying to locate the document as I to work full time and cannot return the next day. Minimal effort was put into looking for the document and time was spend talking to other members in an unofficial language and then was informed that the results were either lost or destroyed. During all interactions I did not feel that my confidentiality was maintained as my name was asked out loud numerous time and the reason of my tests also. Aug 12th called to have the result read over the phone and then either fax/scan a copy to myself and again received the run around without any consideration of the wasted time spend going in person the day before. Pharmacy team member would not read the result over the phone and insisted that I need to go in with ID to pick up (my family member can also go with my ID? another time driving to the store). During all interactions with the pharmacy team, I felt an important amount of disorganization, disrespect of the client and was even lied too stating my results just came in today (Aug 12th) which was not the case. I am also a health care worker with over 20 years experience dealing with patients/clients and I understand that time is important but we are all busy and taking the time to deal with a client properly will in the long run save time. This poorly managed interaction also put my own health at risk as well as individuals present at the time. I will never go to this location again and am tempted to avoid any Shopper's Drug Mart in the future. Will also pass onto to friends/family to avoid this location.
Desired outcome: I would like a written apology. Processes to be put in place that documentation can be provided to the clients in a electronic manner (safe time and exposure?).
Shoppers Drug Mart - Candor vision hylo lubricating eye drops
Two days ago, I bought eye drops over the counter. However I purchased the wrong one. I didn't open the item, I went to return it the next day. But when I went to a shoppers near my area (2515 Bank St, Ottawa, ON K1V 8R9). A worker informed me the seal was slightly open and they will not accept it. The worker kept saying I opened it although never did. On top of that she open the box to verify if the item was inside and when I confronted her for opening it she said nothing. She advised me to go to the location I bought the eye drops to receive a refund. I got the same result at another location. I currently have eye drops that I cannot use.
Desired outcome: I would like to return item and receive a refund.
