Shoppers Drug Mart

I began receiving my medication prescriptions at the Shoppers Drug Mart at 1 King Street East Stoney Creek, ON, store #1050 in June - July 2022.

That first day I was met with ignorance, they yelled, hung up on me, disrespected, and treated as if I am another Native addict.

I am a mental health & addiction counselor who had a breakdown so I had to take some time off, but I was sitting on the edge and to have the staff at store #1050 treat me so awful, it got worse after I said something to one them.

On November 17, 2022 @4pm I was picking up the last of my medication but didn't know it was costing $220.00 but I had $100. so I asked to take half. I paid them $80. and let them know I'd be back the following week to grab the rest.

On November 24, 2022 @3:30 p, m I went to pick-up the rest. The lady at the pharmacy proceeded to argue, getting made saying they cancelled it so they would have to do it again. My original cost was 220.$, I already paid 80. For some, I was charged another 224.$ and noticed she did not even bother to try and bill Native Affairs, and charged me for it. So they did not need to charge me at all. They don't want to bother dealing with my employees Native Affairs.
