Booked a love seat with a sofa. It’s a whole set. Fareeda, the salesperson, we confided in her that we have a three story house, and she promised that we would have the delivery sound to perfection from there delivery experts. Now, this promise was fake. We got the delivery but only for the love sofa, which wasn’t right. The delivery experts said that the big sofa wasn’t able to fit, but we were promised by the customer employee Fareeda, that everything would fit. We went back to the Leon’s store, asking for a return, we were denied. We then asked if we could have another love sofa for the same price, she denied, saying that some sale had ended. We have been played by the store. We asked the manager who said she would contact us on Monday for more information. I would like to reiterate that Fareeda was a horrible employee. She showed us relentless, rudeness, and overall a bad courtesy towards us.
Desired outcome: The desired outcome would be for us to have the completed set instead of half. We would like the sofa and the love seat together. If we cannot fit the sofa, we would like the love seat for the same price before the sale.
Leon's Furniture - Lindsay Sectional Sofa not Delivered
I ordered this couch almost 6 months ago (back in September) from the Leons in Whitby near the 401 and still have not received it yet. The sales person we bought the couch from back in September told us our couch would arrive in roughly 2 months. Me and my family have been Loyal customers to Leons for over 20 years. I am so disappointed in Leons as they have done NOTHING to rectify our issue. This has been causing issues Im my family life as we have a New born and no place to sit and care for her as we have been lying on the floor for the last 6 months. I really hope something can be done to help rectify our issue
Desired outcome: We want the product we paid for
Leon's Furniture - Zahid Khan (manager)
We are a local business that performed an emergency call for Leon's Whitby on behalf of their manager 'Zahid Khan'. Since then, Zahid Khan has intentionally ghosted us and just simply not paying their invoice. Please contact us at [protected]@mrhandyman.com to settle your account.
Desired outcome: Pay us the invoice in the amount of $381.94
Leon's Furniture - ge clothes washer
Researching washing machines for a couple of month LG stood out the best. On September 30, 2019 I was in desperate need of a good clothes washer, I was seeking a specific LG model. Most stores were out of stock for at least a week or more; I required a machine now! Leon's in Whitby had it advertised and so we went there to buy one. Unfortunately, there was none in any of their stores or warehouses; I would probably be about a week for new stock. This was my second time to visit this store for a washer. There was a display mode which I asked to purchase but the manager, Zahid Khan refused, saying displays were not for sale.
However knowing I was in need, Zahid Khan manager, directed me to a GE model which he was selling for $749 as an "In Store Special", listed "As Is". When I was looking at the exterior I noticed a small dent in the front and it came without a box. I assumed a display model. (I previously saw same machine at Canadian Appliance and it was a good model for $994 - rebate = $749) So, when Manager Zahid Khan¬¬ said I could have it for $500 plus tax, the price seemed alright, so I bought it. Delivery would be a couple days away, so I paid someone to pick it up. I also needed other assistance to get it into my basement. I could have bought the LG but the wait was too long. Zahid Khan tried to tell me the washer was reduced $250 which I said was the green rebate. He denied that and said it was on sale! Liar!
After reading the manual and installing it, I opened it up to put cloths and soap in and I noticed that this was Not a New Machine. There was dirt all around the top of the tub, including the soap/fabric softener dish and the bleach reservoir. OK, so I figure I'll try a wash so I put in a half a load of towels and turned the dial, trying each cycle. Again, there were issues, ONLY TWO CYCLES WORKED! The Heavy Load and the Speed Wash were the only cycles to give me water. The other cycles either did nothing but spin, or they would give off a couple sprays of water and then go into a spin, while dry. I did not pay $500 + tax for a dirty used machine that does not work! I paid for a display model, yes it was "As Is" but am I wrong in expecting it to be clean and working?
When I returned to the store with photos, manager Zahid Khan told me it was a new machine but sometimes they try them at the factory? This man is a LIAR! I asked that he replace it with a new machine (considering Leon's doesn't sell used machines?) and he refused, saying that he would pick it up and return my payment which I can use on another product. I said I wanted the New product I had paid for and again he refused. I said I would issue a consumer complaint as well as social media and public media as well as legal help. Manager Zahid Khan said "I hope you have more than 5 years!"
I left the store only to never return to any Leon's again, I will add this result to my social and contact public media, advising them accordingly! I trust this issue to be settled to my advantage or I will seek legal help!

Leon's Furniture - extended warranty / product support
So we bought a brand new fridge and stove from Leon's furniture Feb 2014 and purchased an extended warranty (additional 4 years) as the stove was an induction Samsung unit which cost at the time $1899 last Friday (week ago today) I was heating up the oven for dinner and " BOOM" the bake element goes out of it. Now with this new technology at Samsung in there ultimate wisdom the stove/oven would not even operate without the bake element.
Stoveless ... Tried to buy a bake element everywhere and no can do, called Leon's finally on Saturday and they say we need to call extended warranty but they would leave a message to call me. Monday rolls around at 5:00pm and I call back to Leon's inform them that nobody has called they put me on hold inform me they will address with extended warranty. Tuesday I call back nobody called yet, Wednesday I call inform nobody contact me yet, Thursday very irate (day 6 with no stove) informed once again by Leon's they will contact extended warranty and after 8 calls into Leon's today at 1:50pm I get a call informed they will repair on Monday. Riddle me this how do you pay big bucks for an item from Leon's and pay extra for top notch service with an extended 4 year warranty and receive a response of 10 DAYS before they get it repaired with something that isn't usable until it's repaired. I can tell you this I will never buy another Samsung appliance and I will never pay for an extended warranty again. What happened to the days where the element burns out and you just use the broil burner or could use the stove at least to cook your family dinner and pick one up at your local Canadian tire store and replace for 35$
Leon's furniture's extended warranty is a complete waste of time and remember this if your in need of a new stove what out for a Samsung I wouldn't recommend !
