Great teaching and all around great experience learning from such a well educated NRA instructor. Wouldn't want my safety in guns learned by anybody else. Wasn't rushed and I felt comfortable knowing I was in good hands.

It was an enjoyable, thorough class that presented and reinforced the important elements of firearm safety and use. Bob has a comfortable, interactive style that allows for discussion and understanding. It was a great day.

I've been to a few different carry classes. Mostly in other states. This is the best I've been to. Extremely knowledgeable and thorough without sacrificing time. If you're thinking about getting your permit this is the place to go!

I would HIGHLY recommend Bob (Robert)! He has small classes, easier to pay attention to everything he is teaching you. If you don't understand something he explains it to you until you do understand. I've already recommended him on my social media.

My day was without a doubt the most informational instructional complete and professional experience I could have imagined. There was a lot to take in and the instructor was very good about reviewing. After getting 100 on the final I am feeling really good about my future with firearms.

Bob did an excellent job providing a thorough understanding of gun safety, the permit process in Connecticut, and where to find further resources and information relating to gun laws and safety. As an experienced shooter who just moved to the area I needed to take a basic NRA course to apply for my permit. After researching many instructors I settled on Bob. He is fantastic! Whether you are an experienced shooter or you've never held a gun before, Bob is professional, safe, approachable, and knowledgeable. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I will absolutely continue working with Bob in the future.

Right on arrival the instructor was very polite on time And very greeting With good energy . The instructor Was very knowledgeable about his teachings and his experiences . As a first time shooter I could not have felt more comfortable safely shooting after being taught the safety and basic technique from Caliber Firearms LLC; I even hit the target! The NRA pistol permit course taught by Bob was extremely informative and I couldn't have asked for more. He even made sure we got to experience the firearm jamming so that we would learn to safely trouble shoot while under his supervision. Thanks so much Caliber Firearms LLC!

Just completed the NRA Basic Pistol Course with Robert from Caliber Firearms LLC. Roberts background experience, credentials, knowledge, integrity, interactive on hands classroom and live shouting range teaching style made for a very interesting, informative and enjoyable course. As a Certified Nurse Midwife with a lifetime of experience delivering babies I decided with all the chaos going on in the world it was time to expand my knowledge and learn how a own and operate a firearm. Roberts course far exceeded any expectations I had about this class. Hands down he is a brilliant, very informative and thorough instructor.

Robert is the best. He did such an amazing job with the class. While it is lengthy, it is worth every second. You learn more than you can ever imagine in the class, and you learn more than just the basics. Robert also makes sure to teach the class so that people truly understand the power of the gun, how important it is to use it the right way, and that this isn't something to take lightly. For what you're learning and doing Robert is extremely reasonably priced. If not he can charge more since he has a small class size, which makes it such a better experience than a big class size. You don't feel like you get enough teaching and attention with bigger classes. Would highly recommend everyone to go to Robert at Caliber Firearms LLC!

Just finished taking the class with Bob yesterday. Unbelievably thorough. He will literally cover everything that you need to know and then some. I took the pistol course before years ago with another instructor and never ended up pursuing it any further as it left me in doubt as to what to do and not really comfortable owning a firearm. After taking Bob's course all those reservations are gone and I will be getting my first firearm this year. He covers the laws associated with gun ownership, everything you need to know about maintaining safety, throughout the day he will make you feel comfortable handling firearms as you will for a majority of the 8 hour course have an unloaded firearm in your hands and will go through all the motions of how to properly handle one and to top it off you will have an ex-Marine teaching you how to shoot and hit targets well. Highly recommended and I cant believe it only cost $140 for everything. He should be charging way more.
