They charge way too much for internet
They charge way too much for internet. I'm a single mom and can't afford it. I can't get internet because of the high cost. This is the only company that provides service in my area. Other companies have programs to assist people with low incomes, and they should have one too.

However, I have noticed that they are still charging me for cable TV even though I no longer have their service. Additionally, my internet has been down since August due to a hurricane.
I have called and spoken to them multiple times since August, and they assured me that I would not be charged for services until they were able to restore them. However, they have been charging my card since the beginning, even though I still have no service to this day. It is frustrating and feels like they are taking money from me without providing any service in return.
They should not be trying to charge me for cable TV, especially after I canceled it months ago. Now, when I try to call them, they don't even answer the phone anymore. They simply ask you to leave a message, but you know they will never get back to you. This is not right and feels like they are stealing money from people, including myself.

There's a mistake on my invoice for April. I've been trying for a whole week to get in touch with someone for help. NOBODY PICKS UP THE PHONE. You wait on hold for hours, and nobody ever answers. Does anyone even work here anymore? I can't even cancel my service if I wanted to.

I ain't had no service since 1/1. They charged me by mistake. I told them to close my account, stop billing me, and remove all the charges for the service I ain't even got. I talked to *** on 3/18/2022, and she agreed that it was a mistake and I don't owe no money. She said she'd pass it on to her boss and close my account.

I've called them a whopping 7 times in the past 6 months, and let me tell you, it's been a real hassle. The first time I called, they were all like, "Oh, don't worry, you'll get your refund in a couple of weeks." But guess what? Weeks turned into a whole month, and then they started saying it would take 3 billing cycles. Can you believe it? It's been a never-ending cycle of broken promises.
The best part is that I've got all these calls recorded, just to prove how much they've been jerking me around. I even called them yesterday and today, and you know what they said? They said they'll mail it, but they won't give me a darn date. Can you believe it's been SIX WHOLE MONTHS? It's like they don't even care about their customers.

Last summer we told them to take us off their fancy TV package and it took like 4 months to fix my bill. Our bill for basic TV, fast internet, and phone was $142 a month after they finally fixed it. Last month I called to see how we could pay less and now this month our new bill is $331 a month. When I talked to someone, they said someone changed our stuff to their fancy package last month, but I didn't do that. Even at $142 a month for 12 basic TV channels, internet that's supposed to be 100 Mbps, and a phone we don't use, it's too much.

We stopped using Cameron Communications (now Fastwyre) on August 12, 2022. They said we'd get a refund of $137.96, but it hasn't come yet. I called their office after a month, and they said it would take three months to get the refund. It's been four months now, and we still haven't received it. Every month, they send us a statement saying we have a "credit balance," but they also charge a $5.00 fee each time. They take that fee from our refund balance. We've waited long enough. We want our full refund of $137.96. I know you ask for documents, but I'm not good with technology. I have the monthly statements though.

I called Tech Support multiple times over the next few weeks, and they finally realized that the problem was on Cameron's end, not mine. Finally, on March 1, Cameron managed to get it working. I asked for some credit because of all the trouble. Even my husband asked for credit, and they said they would call us back. I called again, and they told me to pay the full amount and they would talk about the credit on the next bill. So, I paid with a check. My check actually went through on the due date, but now they're billing me for it again and adding a late fee. Can you believe it? Today, I even received a notice saying I'm delinquent! I need some help here. They need to check their records, give me credit for my cleared check, and also credit me for February. And they better remove this fee! I'm so mad about their terrible service. I just want this fixed. I left a really long message for the billing department, telling them how angry I am and that they need to fix this ASAP!

Company failed to cancel internet subscription despite 2 written requests after home was destroyed by Hurricane Laura. I am filing this formal complaint against Cameron Communications, LLC. My home was destroyed in August, as a result of Hurricane Laura. In early September, I notified Cameron Communications, LLC in writing, that my home was completely destroyed, and that I wished to discontinue my monthly internet subscription as a result. (Unfortunately, I did not keep a copy of my first written notification to them.) This was sent to their billing address of *** Box XXXXX *** TX along with my payment for my final bill through August. Subsequently, I received another bill from Cameron Communications for November. I sent a second written notification to them, this time to their local Sulphur address, again letting them know of my home's destruction, that this was my second written request for my subscription to be canceled, and that I did not owe them any fees after August. Despite these two written requests to cancel service, and after the fact that I have not had ANY SERVICES provided from this company after Hurricane Laura destroyed my home, I have continued to receive monthly billing. I dispute that these charges are owed, and I maintain that my subscription was canceled effective with my first written notification to Cameron Communications in September (not to mention the fact that electricity was not restored in Grand Lake until October).

I had Cameron Communication for my home phone service and Internet. I started paying an extra $10/month for the "fastest internet speed they had," which was 15Mbs. I started paying the extra $10/month around February . At first, I noticed a small improvement in internet speed, but then it dropped. I kept a record of my internet speed, which ranged from 2-5Mbs download speed. I called multiple times and technicians came to my house. After each visit, my speed improved briefly, but then it would decrease again. On Feb 7th, 2022, I told Cameron Communication that I had NO internet and my home phone service was down sometimes. I asked for a call back and an update. They NEVER called me back, and I called every day. On Feb 25th (17 days later), a technician left a note at my door saying "sorry we missed you." My husband was home ALL day, and the technician NEVER knocked or rang the doorbell. I called again and told them about this issue. The next day, 4 technicians came to my house, and it turned out that THEIR modem was defective. I am a RN and had just started a new job that required internet/wifi for me to be on call and complete online reports. I told them this when I first called. But it took them 17 days! That is not acceptable to me. This is not even the first major issue with this provider. I haven't been able to use "their company provided email for months at a time," and no one seems to care. They don't have an app that I could download to receive my emails from their provider, but I keep getting bills each month. Now I found out that they expect payment for a month ahead. So they are billing me for services not yet provided.
