apnTech - Complaint Against ApnTech for BBB Investigation
Our experience with ApnTech has been nothing short of disastrous and warrants immediate investigation by the Better Business Bureau (BBB). They promised increased visibility within 2-4 weeks, but this was a complete fabrication, and their inaccurate descriptions only harmed our marketing efforts. As a service-based business, their strategies did nothing to...
Read full review of apnTechapnTech - They take your money, don't do anything, will, not let you cancel, and keep taking money
This company did a real good job Hypeing me to join. I spent $1000's of dollars with them. Never got a single deal from it, never had ANY noticeable change in calls, or online presents. Tried to cancel 3 months ago and they wouldn't let me, they keep taking money out of my account, just tried to cancel again and BOBBY who I talked to 3 months ago. would...
Read full review of apnTechUnethical - won't grant refund
Complete waste of money! They rip you off. They refuse to do a refund. My process started January 12th. I had phone calls and emails back and forth getting things completed as they needed (or so I thought). January 25 I received an emailing stated "congratulations. Your business is now voice search ready!... explains what voice first devices means... ends with Please allow 3-4 weeks for all 3 voice search engines to be updated and searchable. Jump forward to March 11th and my account is still not found on these three platforms. I spoke with three different people between March 11 and March 12. The two from March 11 both hung up on me. The first call was dropped or just ended, the second call the guy put me on hold in the middle of me talking and never came back and after waiting on hold for a long period of time the call clicked and hung up. He never called me back. The conversation with this guy started with him looking for my account via voice searches and said my account wasn't found online and it was my fault for not doing the steps that needed to be complete: creating a google account and a yelp account for my business."I didn't uphold my commitment or it would have been available in the 3-4 weeks they guarantee". Once I referenced the email from Jan 25 his explanation changed to saying no that email doesn't mean my account was ready it was just saying my business was ready once I created those accounts (google and yelp). I said that doesn't make sense that you would send an email tell me its ready and wait 3-4 weeks if I needed to complete my steps still. He put me on hold for a while and came back on the phone. While talking to him somehow I was receiving emails stating I could set up a complimentary yelp account to help draw more interest. No where in that email did it say it was a requirement or that I was inactive because I wasn't doing my part of the agreement. The guy continued to tell me my account could not be found because I didn't uphold my end and no refund could be given. We went back and forth and every time I brought up the Jan 25 email he had nothing in response except he put on hold to never return. Jump to today, March 12, I call and get a man named Mike. He said he apologizes for yesterdays way things were handled and said he's been with the company for over a year and could help me further than what the representatives could help me yesterday. He asked to put me on hold to review my account. 8 mins later he comes back and says he was able to find my account on voice search and he could send me a screenshot of such search. When I explained nothing was available when I started this refund request process he said I couldn't receive a refund because my account is available: meaning they didn't fail to fulfill the agreement so I don't qualify for a refund. I explained maybe you've done things since I started the call yesterday requesting a refund but the agreement is that it would be available online within 3-4 weeks. When I called on March 11 it was far past the 3-4 weeks that the email on Jan 25 said it would be. His response changed to if I would have called when it was actually 3-4 weeks after Jan 25 — instead of waiting until March 11 — than they could've helped me. So because I gave them longer to get their task done than the email requested now I don't qualify for a refund? And he replied yes. So now between three different people I've been told different reasons to why I cannot be given a refund. All changing depending on the moment.
#1. I failed to create a google and yelp account-so they couldn't get my business on voice search... conclusion: my fault. no refund.
#2. My account is available so they upheld their part of the agreement.
They said yesterday it couldn't be found because I didn't do my end now they have found it and it's complete. conclusion: still no refund.
#3. I referenced the timeline not being fulfilled in the 3-4 weeks and was told I didn't call and request a refund within that 3-4 weeks following my Jan 25 so they couldn't help me with a refund because too much time had past...conclusion: my fault; I waited too long to call? no refund.
#4. He than switched to suggest he could help me create a yelp account because it's a free and quick process and would get my account complete. Conclusion:Still no refund.
Wait... so #1 I need a google and yelp account or it won't be completed; #2 it is complete they have proof; #3 I didn't advocate for a refund soon enough; #4 you're willing to help me complete a yelp account? didn't you say in reason #2 my account was ready and found. How can it be found if I never created a google or yelp account?
The round and round garbage that they are putting me through is so unprofessional and unethical. I still do not have a refund and I will continue to share this upset in hopes that others don't make the mistake I did.
Recommendation: Don't fall for their false "guarantees"
Shame on APNTech!!
We paid APNTech $398 for voice services only to never actually be registered. We tried working with APNTech on numerous occassions and each time was told that they could see our business registered. The intersting part is that they must be the only one's (see attachment) becasue when we search Google Voice, our business doesnt appear anywhere.
We were told that their service would only take 3-4 weeks but after 5 months we are still waiting. We requested a refund but APNTech refused to give us a refund claiming they delievered the service we requested. Clearly this isn't the case as you can see from the attched screenshots and video using Alexa services.
This type of blatent abuse is what is wrong with companies out there today. Trust is earned and when a company like APNTech takes advantage of small businesses such as ours its simply shameful!
Recommendation: Stay away from APNTech!!!
Buyer beware!
We made the mistake of reaching out to this company. We immediately tried to cancel service the same day we spoke with a salesperson.
APN Tech's website does not give specific instructions on how to cancel your service -- that is a MAJOR RED FLAG #1.
We called twice, but we were only able to reach the answering service who seemed to be extremely knowledgeable with the company and its processes, but could only relay a message to proper department.
We were promised we would receive a call back within 72 business hours -- nobody ever called us back.
We responded to every email with request to cancel and even generated original cancellation emails to their office -- nobody ever responded.
MAJOR RED FLAG #2 -- we were to receive credit or a refund for the first of two charges as that expense was included in the second charge or they would waive it as a new customer courtesy -- they were vague about this, and they were vague for a reason. Two charges later, our only recourse is to dispute the multiple charges.
We should have read the negative reviews before contacting this company.
Recommendation: Stay away -- far away -- from this company.
Maybe in a couple years
I started working with apnTech in January of this year. I made a mistake during the initial phase thinking I would be more involved in the process and have the ability to “massage” my information to best drive my business. I own this mistake. My problem was when I tried to call and correct the mistake. The first young man did not understand what I was trying to tell him. He turned me over to his supervisor who proceeded to tell me I was wrong, and I just needed to (keep paying them) while the process worked itself out. Frustrated, I waited. 6 months later I have not received one call because of this business relationship. When I called to review the process, I was treated with a condescending attitude that assumed I didn’t even know what month it was. The young lady was very polite and lead me to beleive she was used to this conversation. I told her this was either a scam or the process was flawed. I think it is a flawed process, but the employees are too arrogant to think they are wrong. I wish this would have worked out; I needed the help. Good luck with your business.
Recommendation: Make sure you understand how and how much you will do in the initial set up. Hold them accountable for follow up communication. Wait a couple years for them to work out the kinks..
Poor service
ApnTech Customer Service,
I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration regarding the Voice Search product I recently purchased from ApnTech. As a customer who placed trust in your company and its advertised service, I regret to inform you that the product is not functioning as promised. Therefore, I kindly request a full refund in accordance with your company's refund policy.
When I initially purchased the Voice Search service, I had high expectations for its performance and efficiency. Unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory. Despite following all the provided instructions and troubleshooting steps, the service consistently fails to deliver accurate results or fulfill its basic functionality.
Specifically, the issues I encountered include:
Inaccurate Search Results: The Voice Search service consistently provides inaccurate and irrelevant search results. Even when I enunciate clearly and provide concise queries, the system fails to comprehend the context or retrieve appropriate information. This severely undermines the purpose of utilizing a voice-activated search tool.
Unreliable Voice Recognition: The voice recognition capabilities of the product are highly inconsistent. It frequently misinterprets words and phrases, leading to misunderstandings and generating irrelevant search results. Such unreliability hinders productivity and diminishes the overall user experience.
Limited Language Support: Despite your company's claims of supporting multiple languages, the Voice Search service has proved inadequate in recognizing and understanding other accents. This limitation severely restricts its usefulness for a global customer base, rendering it ineffective for individuals who communicate in languages other than English.
These persistent issues have caused significant frustration, wasted time, and a loss of confidence in the product and your company. As a result, I kindly request a full refund of the purchase price, as stated in your company's refund policy. I believe it is only fair to receive a reimbursement for a product that fails to deliver on its promised functionality.
I kindly ask you to review this matter promptly and process the refund in a timely manner. I expect the refund to be issued to the original payment method within 7 from the date of this request.
Please provide me with a written confirmation of the refund, detailing the amount and the method by which it will be processed.
Stay away, this company is a fraud, just a room full of callers to get you on the phone then they pass the phone off to the managers(closers)
Stay away, this company is a fraud, just a room full of callers to get you on the phone then they pass the phone off to the managers(closers). Very fast talkers so that they keep you on the phone and to not do your Due diligence. Sell sell sell, sound familiar, bunch of red flags given. Then when I started to call them on their BS, they got defensive and disrespectful, after just telling me there going to give me all kinds of discounts, his own Family discount (lol) but all in all I still live by if it sounds to good to be tru, it normally is this great service for next to nothing, yea ok. So Stay away from this company and any company that will not give you a chance to do research and call back and want you to pay the first time you talk to them. Thank you?
Courteous and knowledgeable everyone I spoke to knew what they were talking about
took $1600 and no progress has been made attempted to call just goes to answering service they gave me a number 1 week back for them to call me,My advise dont use them they just want your money
Not exactly sure what I even paid for it took over 3 weeks for them to complete the service that said that they offered get my business name added to *** and *** voice search. During which time, I was able to do this for myself and not spend any money. So I'm still confused as to what service they actually provided and charged me $300 for. I recommend nobody ever use this service it's a scam.
Everything was thoroughly explained, even when my husband and I asked a few questions twice. Both people we spoke to were super polite. Usually when someone speaks to me like they are in a hurry I don't want to deal with it. But for this instance I enjoyed this experience! Thank you all!
Honestly, I do not understand how they maintain such a high rating
Honestly, I do not understand how they maintain such a high rating. My entire experience with APN has been a huge waste of time and money. 9 months into this, *** cannot find my business and, from the list of online directories they provided for me, 50% still have the wrong information. They promised me that all of this would be taken care of within 3 months, at the longest. My first clue should have been how pushy they were at the start. It was literally a now or never situation. I regret not choosing the never option. And now that I am attempting to cancel their services, I am not getting any reply to my emails and phone calls. The customer service has been extremely subpar from the get go. It definitely has not been what I would expect from a company holding a 5 star *** rating.
I paid for a service with this company to help my company with text messaging customers and offering easy access to reviews for my company. After paying all the fees for this, they never sent up the service. I have called and left messages for weeks with a zero response.
I was a hard sell! *** and *** did a great job explaining how all this works. It is totally outside my wheelhouse and I had to rely heavily on these guys. Happy with my purchase and can't wait to see the results!
was professional and nice to work with and took care of all of my questions.
I initially paid 600 for this service they told me it was a one time thing. Then they call back and tell me my buisiness has no internet presence so I need to pay another *** to get my business on all the top search engine. Now on top of that I am being charged an additional 200 monthly bill that I have been trying to cancel with them for months now and when I finally did get someone on the phone they told me someone else was going to call me back because I had to cancel with a supervisor. This is a b.s scam.
Dude you have to call your bank and ask them to stop the payments to APN. I dealt with the same crap, literally exactly like you described, and my bank actually just canceled my debit card and sent me a new one because they had my debit card number. That was actually easier to do than to cancel services by talking to anyone at APN. such BS
So Far it is 5 stars
So Far it is 5 stars. We just started today. It will be 4 weeks before I know how this will perform for me,But at least they let me call back and were not pushing so hard that red flags went up everywhere. This is a lot like the phone books used to be. Companies paid to be listed, and no one paid for a phone book because of that. Now there is no such thing as a phone book, and people don't like to type or read as much anymore so voice searches are the most likely future go- to even more than now. They were a little gimmicky saying there is no charge to register but if you want to be able to be voice searched you have a one time fee. Lose the gimmick and just be on the up and up. Lead with the benefits - it sells itself *** was great setting up my account details and taking my preferred key word searches.
Great people, great explanation of everything about the voice search good people polite *** was a great customer service APN representative
I have tried to call them for weeks. I was billed and no services provided. This is an ongoing issue with APN and the phone number listed is an answering service. This company is a scam and if not they would have responded to the many emails requesting a call back and to stop changing my account as I don't approve.
was very helpful ,clear on all terms concerning voice search service
was very helpful, friendly, and easy to understand. Thanks.
Unfortunately, I signed up for the voice recognition registration
Unfortunately, I signed up for the voice recognition registration. I don't know at this this time whether or not it is going to help my company or not. I do know that I was set up with an online consultation to review and confirm my account information. This lead into a high pressure sales pitch for me to invest an additional one time fee plus a monthly fee with a combine $ amount equaling over $3500 for the first year. When I said I was not interested, the high pressure turned into an arrogant and persistent conversation that I was forced to hang up on. It maybe a very good company, but I sure had a bad experience. I feel like it was the old bait and switch technique. I was told initially that it was a money back guarantee on my initial investment, so I did ask for a refund and was told, sorry I did not qualify. ***.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! Very aggressive sales tactic, even after i told the agent that i am not interested at this time due to so many bad reviews online and because of the way the addressed them. He proceed to tell me that most of these customers are liars and i should not believed them, And told me he has over 200 leads and hang-up the phone one me.
Very helpful and affordable. Would recommend for new businesses. Thanks!
did a good job quickly and efficiently. I recommend that you give him a raise.
was very professional. She was polite and on the point.
Contacted company after seeing an advertisement to have my business voice searched on Siri and ***
Contacted company after seeing an advertisement to have my business voice searched on Siri and ***. Agreed to *** phrases. Paid the one-time fee of 600+ dollars for the service. I was contacted by an employee the next day who I thought was going to discuss further how this system works, however he tried upselling me a $3500.00 *** search and $199.00 a month service plan and stated if I did not have this product, I would only be receiving 4% of the advertising through Siri and *** I informed him after 30 min of hard sales tactics that I wish to cancel my service and have the money reimbursed. He abruptly hung up. I called APN and sent them an e-mail immediately requesting to cancel the service I purchased just one day prior. Someone did reach back out and stated that I would not get a refund. After further discussion they did agree to reimburse me $490.00.
I own a Mattress By Appointment location and need more heads through the door, the service to me is bleeding edge advertising and this is a risk
I own a Mattress By Appointment location and need more heads through the door, the service to me is bleeding edge advertising and this is a risk for me only as to how well it will perform. I have no doubt in the authenticity of *** who helped me understand the relationships *** has created over the past 12 years to make sure when a voice search is performed your company is pulling *** in the mix. The money back guarantee is fair and was explained to me well. I have full confidence this is a valid form of advertising and that to have your IT department or your coding guy attempt to do this on their own would cost you more then the *** offer. I spent 30 years in the telecommunications industry on legacy core switches (Northern DMS-500 *** Lucent 5-E) which is now dinosaur technologies but needless to say I feel I'm tech savvy enough to see this as a very valuable way of advertising.
Complaints for Approved Providers Network Received a call on August 15, 2022
Complaints for Approved Providers Network Received a call on August 15, 2022. The company told me all about how wonderful their voice-activated service was. They were offering a ONE-time fee of $698, then they said I could have a Friends and family discount after the sales rep put me on the phone with their manager. They now offered me the Pro for $325, however, I had to Pay at that Moment to get the discount. I was driving and told them I would reach out when I got home. After further research that the company is in the business of being pushy and not transparent, I decided not to move forward. I responded to an email that I was not going to move forward. I then received several emails, 6 texts, and 6 phone calls from the salesman and the manager. I had to block them. BUYER BEWARE! ANY COMPANY THAT DOES NOT HAVE AN E DOCO SIGN and pushes for payment NOW BEWARE! If it is too good to be true well then usually its a scam!
This company will not do what they say they will
This company will not do what they say they will. I paid for their voice recognition service and they scheduled a set-up call. I was prepared at the appointed time and they never called. I contacted their "customer service" department - during business hours - and got their answering service. I never got a call back but, eventually, received an email asking to reschedule for today. They even confirmed the new appointment day and time. Again, I was prepared for their call and they never showed. I called the customer service line and got the answering service I have called their customer support line four different times - all during regular business hours - and always get the answering service (which always asks me which company I'm calling about...). I cannot recommend highly enough that you NOT get involved with apnTech. I'm now having to dispute a substantial charge with my credit card company to try to credit. What a hassle.
If I could leave less than 1 star I would
If I could leave less than 1 star I would. First of all I decided I didn't want this service, but I kept getting emails and phone calls from this company. I feel that I was badgered into getting this service and nothing came from all the money $298.00 and the $397.00 I spent for the services associated with APN. Unable to get a refund as promised by Ryan, Irma, or Tarik. Bonny is not a very nice person and told me that I was confused because the $199.00 per month on top of what was already paid are not the services associated with APN. Don't know what to do since my company is still not voice searchable or searchable online unless you actually type the business name into the search bar. I was told everything was 100% refundable if they couldn't get my business searchable. I have no one to contact to get a refund and cancel this service. Do not get conned into this service if you are a small business looking to get more customers. *** in Anderson, SC
Charged $498 by APN for voice services without results, following a male Sales Rep's pitch.
On August 23, 2022, I was charged $498 by APN for voice services after being convinced by a male Sales Rep. Over two months later, I've not received a single call. I've expressed my dissatisfaction through four emails and a follow-up call with an APN Rep, who acknowledged the issue and updated the keywords for my business. My last email on October 31 requested a refund and cessation of charges, but I've received no response. I feel compelled to share my negative experience online to prevent others from falling into what seems like a sales trap.
Very professional and no hard sales needed here
Very professional and no hard sales needed here. The service is current best in marketing aiming only to grow as a strategy for recognition all around. The sales team and my personal manager whos name I current spell, do not pressure. They just offer their services and you either want them or pass. Its simple. The best thing to do here is go for it, in my opinion. Theres nothing to lose and a ton to gain. My two clinics are just opening, Ive spent a boat load on marketing and time getting name out there. This one tool was affordable and easy. I am only excited about this partnership and have no concerns. Bought best package within 5 moniker conversation. *** LMHC Owner of Rising *** PLLC Keep Life Positive LLC (family resource center} and owner of shared offices catering to newly private practicing clinicians Two locations *** Buffalo *** Vet me on all social media platforms:*** in any format will get you to my profiles *** if you partner as quickly and carelessly as I have Radius 250 miles voice recognition
Horrible, disrespectful, pushy scammers
Horrible, disrespectful, pushy scammers. The called trying to *** this scam. It seemed legit at the time, so we asked them to call *** Thursday so we could discuss with our business partners. They refused to get off the phone, offered discounts, etc...We said it doesn't matter we will not purchase today. Call us on Thursday. Now after reading about all of the people that were scammed, I see why they were refusing to hang up. We ended up hanging up on them telling them they were too desperate and it started to seem like a scam. They clalled right back, (the manager) arguing and yelling with us. We told them at this point we no longer wanted their services and not to contact us again. They still argued and would not hang up. So we hung up on them again in which they called right back AGAIN! We had to literally swear at them to get them to stop harassing us to purchase this scam. They should be ashamed. I'm glad they did not honor our request to call us back Thursday bc we would have wasted money. I feel sorry for all of the business they scammed in which I'm sure many haven't come here to report it.
BUYER BEWARE!
BUYER BEWARE! I am not sure how the ratings are accurate, as my experience with this company has been the worst of any experience to date with any business. First, I was sold the "voice search" package, $398, told that once everything was complete, a representative would call and confirm with me this worked. I recieved emails claiming it worked, but when I tried to call their 800 number, no luck. During waiting for the voice search, they high pressured me into another service $767 to get our company on Prime listings, stating we currently were not showing up. This also was to come with a follow up report and call from a rep to review (again received the report, but when I called the 800 number, the rep stated, someone would call me when they had time available) no call. Follwed up again, rep was rude and said i got what I paid for, I said I do not want the additional $199 roll over service, she said too late I should of canceled earlier, again nothing came with this service. $1364 later what a scam. Try to report my discontent on their webiste, *** called, said to call her on 800 , called and still have not heard back ... don't fall for this company, it is a waste of your hard earned money. Go to a reputable company that will allow you to speak with someone. i have yet to recieve any kind of follow up to what I paid for (just bogus reports)

Voice search optimization
Paid for service on 10/23 they said it would take 3-4 weeks for service to become active.
After over 2 months, my company didn't come up on any voice search results. My voice optimization score also didn't change from 51%.
They then told me I wasn't eligible for a return of my money bc it was too late and because they registered my business on the search engines. I had to sit on the phone with them for 45 minutes with first Stephanie (a cust retention) then Bobby (supposedly her supervisor) and they refused to refund my almost $700 bc there was no results seen.
I asked them for an activity log on our file to see what work they have done and when they did it and terms and conditions of the refund so I can submit it to my credit card company for them to dispute.
I recommend staying away from them bc they may be a large company but they are HORRIBLE to work with
Claimed loss: $700
Desired outcome: I would like to get a refund on my money.

Voice search for real estate
I was first contacted in 6/19/2023 and they were supposed to make google search by voice come up as local realtor. They charged me for 1,096.000 and Told me I would take about 6 weeks before it would work. Then on on 6/21/23 they Charged me 3,288.00 on my credit card for what I have no idea. I filed disputes with my Credit Card. July 25 2023 they billed me 4147. and then in August 22 2023 I started getting billed for 2 payments of 199.00. Voice registration, listings package, listings monthly
In May of 2023, I responded to a Facebook ad to have my company listed on voice search that included all the major search engines. I learned that the company is called APNTech. I spoke with a fast-talking salesman who went by the name of William Denick. His female supervisor gave me a "discounted" price" of $448 due to my time in business for this service...

Voice Search Service
Very unhappy paying customer.
I have not had the promised services from the begging and been trying for the last month to get my refund as promised at signup
4 Support calls later, all I hear is, we will get back to you in 72 Hours, nothing has happened and I would warn anyone thinking this service, or support works
the Support Team even today still promised a 72 Hour callback, which past experiment tells me will not happen
Desired outcome: Full Refund
I have been attempting to cancel a service for the past 3 months
I have been attempting to cancel a service for the past 3 months. The company never answers the phone, instead an "answering service" answers and creates a "support ticket" but no one ever calls/emails back. They automatically take money from my checking account and have never provided documentation of the service they claim to provide (search listing management).
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

I have sent several emails, none of which have been answered. Ive tried calling and only reach an answering service. My calls have not been returned.

I was contacted in April about registering for voice activated search engines. Agreed to start with the service for a one time fee. Had a follow up appointment with them to verify the voice search listing had been done. Then I see in my bank statement where they have been charging me $199 per month since May. I called didnt get an answer, only after I disputed the charges with my bank did someone call me back but said that since I filled a dispute they couldnt speak with me. They claimed to have voice recordings of me agreeing to some monthly service. When I asked what service it was and why havent I been getting monthly reports to verify the service they claimed to be providing some representative told me that it was my responsibility to research the voice search myself to make sure Im getting the results of voice activation search. Not to mention they SOLD MY INFORMATION to MULTIPLE companies as I kept getting calls from other companies trying to sell me the same service!

Date of transaction was 8/11.There were two amounts charged to me that I did NOT authorize, $248 and $750.This was for advertisement and placement on various online search engines, such as *** and Bing. The sales guy was a fast talking salesman, and I believe these people are nothing but scam artists. I did NOT sign any contract, nor did I ever agree to these charges. I am actively seeking an investigation by *** (my credit card company) into these charges, which I am disputing. I am seeking a full refund, and no further charges from this shady company.

On 4/25/22, I called APN to see what the status was with my issue relating to my personal number plastered all over the internet and an incorrect suite number listed for my address. The person that I spoke with was very condescending, hostile, and rude during my inquiry. I felt like I was insulted, ridiculed, and overall discarded during the call. I asked for a manager and the person claimed that she was "the manager" that she did not report to anyone and that there was "no one available to speak to." My address has been established for over two years at the location that I provided when I signed up for this service and she flat out refused to make any updates! Keep in mind that there were no issues or any disclaimers given at the time I purchased my service from APN. I am HIGHLY dissatisfied with the customer service and the entire company from how I have been treated! I want a full and complete refund for being subjected to hostile treatment from Associated Providers Network!

I was contacted on 7/28 and told for a price I would be on every search engine when someone looked for tree service in my area. I'm not computer shabby, and come to find out it's free I could do it myself getting notice. I paid $248, after lowered it down $250 so I would agree. Very pushy sales, said it was a one time fee for the lifetime of my business, and I agreed. An account manger got on the phone for confirmation, she said i jave 9am appointment to get additional info from me to set up my business on search engines. They said they work with all big companies like *** bing, *** and they will have my business added when searched for the type of services I provide. 9am I get a phone call, I'm excited to set my business up and will be seen by a lot of people. All they wanted was $199. a month to get my business on search engines. I said that is not what i was told yesterday, yesterday they said a one time payment was all they needed. He got mad and hung up on me.

This company called and told my business partner all about the services that they could provide to our business
This company called and told my business partner all about the services that they could provide to our business. The girl that called her, ***, set up a call back to set up their services.A boy named *** called at the appointed time, and did not want to answer any of our questions. (Or couldn't)Upon him not knowing the answer to our questions, or simply not wanting to answer them, he, without notice, turned us over to a boy named ***. *** didn't want to answer our questions either. We suspected early on that this was a "bait and switch". My business partner was satisfied that the $498 was the only charge. Then there was an additional $995 as well as a monthly charge! They could waive the $995, but ONLY if we did it NOW. I said NO then, and asked for our refund. To which he gave me a 800 number that only answering service answers. My business partner got a email saying no credit would be issued due to "service rendered", of which NO SERVICE WAS RENDERED other that their unprofessional phone call.I want credit for the $498 bogus charge and no further contact with this company.

APN company reached out on 1/24/2022 about enhancing business visibility via voice search platforms.
On 1/24/2022, APN company reached out to me with a proposition to help my small business grow by increasing its visibility through voice search on various platforms, including car play and other voice-activated devices. They offered this service for a one-time fee. Initially, they quoted $599, but I negotiated it down to $348. I confirmed with them that no additional payments would be required. However, a week later, I started receiving emails from APN pro care claiming I needed to pay more to complete my account setup and access all voice recognition features. I refused, reminding them of the one-time fee agreement. When I demanded a refund of my $348, alleging that I was being scammed, they abruptly hung up. Since then, I've been unable to contact them to resolve this issue. Despite a high rating on Complaintsboard.com, it's clear to me that these people are scam artists, also known as APN company.

I was contacted and sold services that were a one-time fee for voice search registration
I was contacted and sold services that were a one-time fee for voice search registration. I was told I would be contacted when that service was completed to review and validate. That never happened. Shortly after the initial contact, I was sold another package that was $199 a month and I was guaranteed to be listed in the service areas that I did not show up in. I was told I would have a contact to send all my info to, such as new awards, pictures anything, and everything. That info would then be sent directly to all of my listings. I have seen no changes in any of my listings. I was given incorrect instructions and when I reached back out for clarification nobody would respond. At one point contact was made and it seemed as if after 6 months something might be done. I was sent a list of the areas where they were working on my info(my service areas) it was completely incorrect. It was as if somebody was throwing darts at a map to pick my service areas. I have made multiple attempts at communicating by email as directed and I get no responses at all. It takes weeks for any response and then it is an automated service ticket email with a canned response of "what time works for you on Thursday for a call to discuss ...) I did receive a call from a gentleman after filing a complaint who stated he was a VP at the company. I could not talk and asked that he send me an email so I could reach back out to him at a better time. He said he would do that and to call him when I had time to review everything that they had done. No email was sent, I have requested multiple times for him to reach out to me and he hasn't. I truly feel that nothing has been done. I have tried and tried. I wish I would have been more diligent in researching this company and the services sold to me. I have asked for info, analitics anything to show that something has been done and I heave gotten nothing but a runaround

It is VERY MUCH A SCAM! I’m so disappointed in myself and I have to get a new card again. Why are people such horrible people!
High-pressure sales and the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I wish I had checked out the BBB complaints on this company before purchasing.
