Canned food containing maggots
Today my self and my mother shared a can of the stew for lunch, we opened a second and what we didn't eat we gave to the pugs cause they love it but after it got poured into the container all you could start to see were maggots swimming around🤢🤮. I dont care what anyone says, nothing about this is normal and it shouldnt be allowed. Thats basically like saying its ok to rip off the entire world coast to coast by providing products without providing what they truly
Contain which is an ingredient they use being bugs. Laywer lawyer lawyer!
Desired outcome: Will have them pay for there mistakes
Pork & beans 14.8oz can
Just today was enjoying a meal of pork and beans and found a small piece of glass in product. Have the glass on scotch tape for your inspection.
Campbell’s condensed Vegetable soup
6/8/2022 9:00 pm - opened and found around 14 pieces rotten potatoes and 1 piece rotten carrot. One black lump floated to the top why I paid close attention. Took photos and called the number on the can: [protected]. Called the [protected] number the message said to call for urgent comment. Took 14 min to give report to the lady. She said a Consumer Advocate would call me. 6/10/2022 8:22 am got call back. Spent 30 min answering questions and telling her what I saw. Sent photos via text to
+[protected]. She said she was sending me a pkg with instructions how to send the product back to her, that I was to keep in a small ziplock bag in refrigerator. Received on 6/21/22 letter dated 6/14/22 - envelope postmarked 6/17/22 from Campbell’s. Letter asked me to ‘please use enclosed mailing materials and shipping instructions to send us the object?’ Except only the letter and 2 coupons worth $4 were in the envelope. What to do? Used the Consumer Advocate text number to let them know how upset I was that it would take another 2 weeks to get the material to return their rotten product. The response? “I am sorry you had not been told that you can dispose of the product.“ Period. The end. No more response.
This is not the way to resolve a customer complaint!
Desired outcome: Investigate the batch see why it happened
Cream of chicken soup
I don’t know what you’re doing but your Cream of Chicken soup is curdled. And not just one can. I’ve opened quite a few over the last few months and they’re all like that. It’s disgusting! I’d rather eat the crappy store brand than curdled cream. Never will I buy this soup again. Campbell’s is going down the crapper if you can’t make a decent product anymore.
Desired outcome: Don’t care. I won’t be buying this again.
Product quality
Today, I opened 2 unexpired cans of
Campbell's condensed soup, Chicken and Stars, and Healthy Request Chicken Noodle soups and found black spots on the carrots in each can. I do not ever recall seeing this in these soups and have often purchased and consumed Campbell's soups over many years.
Desired outcome: Refund or replacement
campbell chicken noddle soup
I am a huge campbell soup fan. However, something is horribly wrong. The taste is awlful. The broth flavor is "off". It doesn't taste good.
I can't eat it. The flavor is gone. The price is up and the quality is way down.
Desired outcome: Contact me. Search the current processing method and fix it.
Sirloin Veg soup - healthy choice
Ate a can of your healthy choice sirloin veg soup. It was the most disgusting soup I've ever had from your company. The meat tastes like you processed cardboard into soup chunks.
No flavor except bad flavor. I could not eat 2 bites, and will be throwing away the other 3 cans. Thanks for producing such a poorly designed product, and leave that business to companies who can make something that tastes good. I am inclined never to buy campell's again, this left such a bad impression.
Desired outcome: Refund for 4 cans of laser product.
Campbell's pub style chicken pot pie
Today is 03/13/2022 I bought 3 cans of pub style chicken pot pie soup. I never had this problem before but I made it tonight for me and husband and I took a couple bites and I felt my throat itch like I need to cough up something well I took a bite again and had blonde hair stuck in my tooth and I coughed up hair the most disgusting thing ever. I have black hair and husband has brown hair. I bought the cans at Walmart Sault st marie Michigan. I been vomiting for hours and most likely wont try eating for awhile. I do not have a receipt I do got the cans left if need if you need any more info or details please contact me
Desired outcome: I would love money back and then some for the night I had
Double noodle soup had black mold in it
I just opened a can of double noodle soup that I purchased at Walmart in Rockford,il. It seems to have mold sitting on top of the noodles. It is not expired therefore it shouldn't have mold in it at all. How do I go about resolving this issue. I was about to feed my daughter this food. She could have gotten very sick from eating this
Desired outcome: Compensation
Soup Misleading / Not Filling
"Chunky Steak and Potato Soup"
Chocked full of mushrooms! I hate mushrooms, if you are going to include them as a main ingredient, it should be stated clearly on the front of the can. Mushrooms and potatoes are the primary ingredients, there are maybe four small chunks of steak throughout.
I purchased this can of soup through an online grocery store "pickup" service. I quickly found some lower cost items to get me through the week, as I had $25 left for food for the week, added them to a cart, and placed an order that I went to pickup in person. I should not have to read through an ingredient label to decipher what these chunks are in my soup after I have poured it into a bowl. Just call it "Potato and Mushroom soup with steak"?
Even inside the store, shopping, I would not have realized there were mushrooms inside. It is not stated on the can except in the middle of the ingredient list.
Anyway, I picked all of the shrooms out and ate the potatoes and meat...flavor was less than desirable and I am still very hungry.
I was looking for a steak and potato soup you make that I've had before, but it is creamier and tasty. This was not it.
Desired outcome: Change the label on the can to include mushrooms clearly listed as a main part of the soup. And I would like maybe a coupon for a free can of the soup I was looking for. And help finding that soup...creamy steak and potato?
mushroom soup
WHy is the quality lower. It it thinner and finding a mushroom is like panning for gold, There is little mushroom flavor to the product as a whole.
Desired outcome: Introduce : Old Fashioned Mushroom Soup.
Chunky Smoked Turkey soup
I came in from the cold looking forward to getting warm on the inside so I opened a can of Campbell's Smoked Turkey soup. Buy the time it was ready it had a horrible smell that filled the house. I couldn't eat it. Very disappointed. Never smelled that before.
Desired outcome: This was bought at the Shop-rite in Hazlet NJ months ago. I don't still have receipts, but something needs to be done.
Campbells Chunky Soup
Today on 2/04/2022 at 7:15pm
I Wanted to try Campbells smoked Turkey soup and ended up with it tasting spoiled and having an awful smell. As I was looking into my soup I saw what looks like little snails but it’s probably something else…I’m guessing. I took pictures but I’m not able to upload for some reason. Whatever it is it’s gooey and looks slimy.
Chicken noodle soup cup
I live in Florida so I do not eat soup often. I bought a Can of the microwavable Chicken Noodle Soup. I literally found NOT ONE piece of chicken in the entire cup. Not one. Only broth and noodles. I just think that is very misleading.
I do not expect a replacement, refund or return.
I am just letting you know I do not plan on buying this or other Campbell products anymore as a result.
Campbell Tomato Sipping Soups
Love the Campbells Tomato Sipping Soup, however, the red lid is
impossible to get off. Being a senior I have stopped buying it because
I can't get the red lid off. I did resort to using pliers, however, you
should not have to use a "tool" to open a can of soup. Upon calling
your headquarters I was told to use a spoon to open the lid, but
again, you should not have to use a tool to open the can.
Asked my adult son to open and he couldn't get the lid off either and
said "just stop buying this"
Desired outcome: Better and easier lid to remove
Campbell’s Bean with Bacon soup
I opened the can and used a rubber spatula to empty the contents into my pan. I added water and noticed two objects float to the top and they were tiny Beatles or black bugs of some sort! Took pictures too! Kept them and the can. Need some sort of compensation as this ruined my dinner and evening. Seriously can't eat this food anymore!
Tomato soup recipes
A request not a complaint:
I have misplaced 2 old tomato soup recipes; I love them both and would appreciate your providing the missing links:
Eggs Espanol recipe: sauce uses soup [not diluted], beer and sautéed onions plus the missing link[s]. Can you provide those missing ingredients? This is an old recipe but much loved/used and I chomping at the bits w/o the complete recipe.
Second request: stuffed cabbages using tomato soup and beef broth for the sauce in which they are baked. I recall some brown sugar but little else. Again, an oldie but goodie — stop being so clever and cute with all the latest gimmicks; I miss these golden oldies; I am 84 yrs old, a big time cook and I am frustrated and salivating, wondering what ingredients I have left out.
HELP!
FYI — I hate the new pull open cans; 84 yr old fingers cannot grasp and pull hard enough to open them. I have 4 cans of mushroom soup lined up on my kitchen counter; each with the pulled tab pulled off w/o opening the darn can. I can live with that BUT cannot live w/o missing ingredients in above 2 favorite recipes, especially as winter in PA looms.
So, Help me, Rhonda, help, help me, Rhonda — as the song goes or if Rhonda is not available, somebody else jump in and rescue me.
Thanks in advance.

Desired outcome: fill in the blanks
Forgot the above when I submitted my "complaints" and just noticed a grammatic error -- AM chomping at the bits -- mea culpa!
Anyhow, shrimp soup above! I remember the days -- we're back to the Good Old Days -- when it first appeared -- frozen and out of this world. Then somebody got smart/clever [wrong] and changed that frozen winner into a canned loser. No flavor, mushy shrimp -- need I go on. Picked up a couple reduced cans recently and sure enough, it was lousy -- still! Was frozen more expensive to make? Not selling well? What? Frozen was divine and this canned stuff stinks, simply put. I sure miss that frozen one.

Campbells vegetable beef
I purchased Vegetable beef Dec 24, 2021. Says expiration is Oct 06 2023 has other numbers & letters- (10061 EST4R EA 2355) it has a very bitter taste, almost as if it was spoiled, but also a very bad aftertaste. I threw it out. I then opened a can of vegetable soup & it also had the same bad taste. As if the sodium is off, but something is wrong. If this is how these will taste from now on, I won't be buying anymore.
Desired outcome: Better soup, how it used to taste.
