Desktop parts
Worst company to buy from
Worst company to buy from, customer service sucks, I would never recommend any one to buy from canada computers. Bought over $3000 of desktop parts to build my own, ssd not compatible with motherboard, they confirmed that all parts are compatible when I bought them, they charged me $50 diagnostic fee to test the m.2 ssd drive, and said nothing wrong with the drive, they refused to return or exchange any of the parts.
Return Policy
Purchased a modem online that I never opened and found out that it is not supported for the ISP in my area. Was never warned during the checkout process that it was a final sale item and I cannot return. The modem is still in its box and sealed. Yet still I am unable to return an expensive product that I can never use even though the product is unused.
This is terrible consumer practice. I could understand that once a product is used there would be an exchange if the product is defective but not being able to return unopened product is absurd.
I just want to return or even exchange for a different product I can actually use instead of letting an expensive product collect dust and create more e-waste. Ridiculous!
Desired outcome: Return and refund or store credit.
Terrible experience
I've made an online order and purchased a laptop from www.canadacomputers.com. About two weeks later I received a notification that they received my PC and that I could come and pick it up. So actually there was no delivery and to get my laptop I had to go to their store. It took me over 2 hours to get to their store in Ontario, and when I finally arrived they said that they did not receive my PC yet! They said that I probably received a notification by a mistake and asked me to come back later. I was extremely angry and demanded my money back, but they refused. I wasted 2 hours of my life to get there and what did I receive? And I don't want to go there again, I don't have that much time to waste! They said that if I want to cancel my order I need to contact their online support. Tried to do that but was ignored! The most disgusting service I've ever experienced!

Poor After Sale Service
I had purchased a Nexus 6 phone online before the Christmas and it started malfunction right after the new year, then I brought the phone to one of the Markham Unionville store on January 9, 2016 at around 10:30 am to have it check out and the customer service representative offered for an exchange since they had confirmed it is a manufacturer defect, and had placed a transfer request for a new Nexus 6 from Barrie to Markham Unionville store. The service rep had informed me at the store that it normally would take 4 days, so I had waited until Jan 13, 2016 then I called the Markham store for status and the service rep. I had spoken to over the phone stated that the expected wait time should be 7 days, not 4. As a result, I had waited for 3 more days unit Jan 15, 2016 and I called again and then the service rep had advised me again that the product is still in transit and not arrived yet. It had been over 11 days by today Jan 20, 2016 and I had been calling the Markham Unionville store for status update everyday and the customer service rep. had only been telling me it is either not arrived yet, or we haven't check the shipment that came in today. Today (Jan 20, 2016), the rep. came up with a smart way to brush me off... He said that the phone should have arrived, and will call me back in half an hour so he can go check it, and I had been waited since (over 2 hours by now) and still no call back. I would have given a zero star if I could. Save your time, money, and sanity and DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM CANADA COMPUTERS!
Scam for ordered broken/used computers
This computer company sells used stuff such as tower cases, once i ordered a tower xclio 380a and they sent me a worned box of a tower i ordered online. I did not expect a box that was so worn out, and when I open the box to take a look at the box the tower had 3 cracks and scratches on it. I was so dissappointed so i called the help line and all they said was to call the courier and complain to them because there was insurance on the shipment. I also ordered a Asus 790GX motherboard along with the tower, the motherboard also was damaged. There was two damaged slots in the socket which i did not notice while i install my cpu onto the board. I called the help line again, and this time they say its my fault for breaking my cpu and theres nothing they could not help me with, and i kept telling them 2 out of 7 items they sent me was damaged.
Never order from www.canadacomputers.com. I perfer other computers sources such as www.ncix.com if you were to order from canada.

I have a similar issues. CC damaged a laptop while in their possession and now REFUSE to fix it. Arrogant, deceitful, some one you don't want to do business with are just a few of the descriptions that come to mind. Run away as fast as possible is my advise.
This is a typical experience with Canada Computers. After shelling out $150 on a motherboard that was $5-10 cheaper at Canada Computers that anywhere else I regretted my decision. I found out that the store had knowingly sold me a used motherboard that had been installed improperly before I purchased it that was also defective. When I took the motherboard back to the store, I had to wait 10 minutes before a "technician" (this term is used lightly because I doubt that he knew anything about computers) finished inspecting my motherboard during which he VOID THE MANUFACTURERS WARRANTY. After this damage was caused by the employee I was told that because the motherboard had physical damage, I could not exchange it or get a refund. Even their head office refuses to do anything for me except give me a %50 refund or ask the manufacturer nicely to replace it even though it was Canada Computers fault that it was broken.
