on December 23rd I dropped my car off - I wanted the front tires checked for leaks and one in particular was going flat. I asked to be told if they needed to be changed because I was driving home for the holidays and wasn't sure if it was a major leak or just normal air loss. I was called back and told they found leaks in both front tires around the rim. They sealed them, switched the tires and filled them up. I was told I was good to go. The next morning Dec 24th - I went to load my car to leave and the one front tire was 1/2 flat and the other was losing a bit of air as well. By the time I got to an air pump the 1 tire was flat and now damaged - I had to call CAA to get the spare tire put on and air put in the other tire so I could get home. I was told I couldn't drive on the 401 with the small spare and needed new tires. Since it was Dec 24th and there was no time left to get tires on - I had no choice but to go to the expense of renting a car for the trip. I was furious! I had been told I was good to go and was given no indication that the tires should have been replaced. I got back from the holidays and went back to the service department and asked why this had happened. They had no response for me. They couldn't explain why I was sent on my way with a car that was not road worthy. I spent hundreds of dollars on a rental because of this and then still had to get new tires on. While they didn't charge me for the service - they only charged me for the new tires - I am still out hundreds of dollars for a rental I shouldn't have had to use because your mechanics weren't honest about the tires not being road worthy. If I had been on the 401 when the tire went flat it could have been an accident in the making. your staff took no responsibility and endangered my life - that is unacceptable. the staff members who worked on my car and the desk staff who didn't make sure everything was done correctly should be investigated and trained before they do this again to someone and it actually does end up with someone being in an accident. And I should be refunded the full cost of the tires to help balance out the cost of the rental car I shouldn't have had to use if they had just done their job in the first place.
