Beware of this internet gift card company terrible customer service and experience!
This business is horrendous. The customer service is disgraceful. One of the most inadequate experiences I have dealt with! The toll-free number is a ruse. The address is to receive correspondence in Beaverton, Oregon, the owners, the Argentinian owners that live in Argentina. ANTONIA BENSUSAN MILLÈ and GONZALO BENSUSAN and all of the family members she has employed, as well the arbitrary individuals you hire to like your statuses on Facebook and provide erroneous reviews! I also utilized another establishment yesterday for a gift card and had no issues. I've used various corporations and never had a problem like this. One would presume that an organization that has proliferated would sustain at least respectable customer service; unfortunately, I can't even deem it insufficient, as the term isn't adequate!
Recommendation: There are many other companies you can use google is your friend.
They had the nerve to send me a survey; needless to say, it wasn't for their Google reviews, as they pay to remove any the real ones!
Terrible Experience with Card Cookie: Fraudulent Cards and Poor Customer Service
I done bought a bunch of cards from Card Cookie and at first, their customer service was pretty good. But then, things started to go downhill. I started getting more and more cards that were fraudulent, and it seemed like they just didn't want to deal with me anymore. All of a sudden, my credit card just stopped working! I tried to reach out to Dan and his team, but they just stopped responding to my emails. It's pretty pathetic if you ask me. I thought I was a good customer, but I guess they didn't care about that.
I was really excited to support a smaller company like Card Cookie, but now I'm just glad I'm done with them. They're not honest people and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. If they can do this to me, they can do it to anyone! They don't care about their customers at all.
I've been in the secondary gift card market for a while now, and I know a thing or two about it. And let me tell you, there are much better gift card resellers out there. Don't waste your time with Card Cookie!
Card Cookie Review: Legit Discount Gift Cards with Great Customer Service and Security Measures
Let me tell you, if anyone has anything negative to say about Card Cookie, they're either a crook who got caught or they're just plain rude. I've been buying gift cards in bulk from them for over three years now, and I purchase from them every day as an e-commerce seller. I've bought almost 50,000 gift cards from them, and I can tell you that they are 100% legit. Their customer service is amazing, and they always make things right. Just treat them with respect, and they'll do the same for you.
Now, some people complain about their security measures, but come on, folks, they sell discount gift cards. They have to be careful. They have great verification methods, and they won't let anyone take advantage of them. They're experts at what they do, and they know how to keep their business safe. Just be patient with them, and they'll save you money.
I've seen some reviews where people complain about their security measures, but honestly, I think they're just being unreasonable. If you're buying discount gift cards, you have to expect that there will be some security measures in place. It's just common sense. And honestly, I think it's a good thing that they take security seriously. It means that they care about their customers and their business.
So, if you're looking for a reliable source for gift cards, I highly recommend Card Cookie. They're the real deal, and they'll treat you right. Just remember to be patient and understanding, and they'll save you money. And if you're a scammer or a rude person, well, you're not going to get very far with them. They know how to protect themselves, and they won't put up with any nonsense.
CardCookie Review: Great Discounts on Starbucks Gift Cards, but Slow Delivery Times Lately
I've been using CardCookie for almost a year now, and I gotta say, it's been a pretty good experience overall. I mainly use it to buy Starbucks gift cards for myself, since I'm a bit of a coffee addict and I'm always at Starbucks. The discounts on Starbucks cards are usually pretty good, ranging from 9-15%, which is better than what I can find on other sites.
Up until last week, CardCookie was always super fast with delivering the gift card codes. I mean, like, instant. I'd buy a card and boom, there it was in my inbox. But last week, I bought a card and it took like 30 minutes to come through. I was a bit annoyed, but I let it slide. Today, though, it's been over an hour since I placed my order and I still haven't received the code. That's just not cool.
I know there are other sites out there that can deliver gift card codes in like 5 minutes or less, so I'm starting to think it might be time to switch. I mean, I don't mind paying a little extra if it means I can get my coffee fix faster. And honestly, it seems like CardCookie might be slacking a bit in the customer service department. I mean, come on guys, get it together. You've got the funds to make this happen, so why not prioritize your customers a bit more?
Anyway, I hope CardCookie can step up their game and start delivering gift card codes faster again. I'd hate to have to switch to a different site, but if things don't improve soon, I might have to.
Disappointing Experience with Card Cookie: Payment Processing and Customer Service Issues
I recently tried using Card Cookie for a few transactions and was initially pleased with the ease of use and convenience. However, I soon ran into some issues that left me feeling frustrated and disappointed.
One major problem I encountered was that my card was suddenly blocked without any warning or explanation. This was especially frustrating because I had never had any issues with my card before, and there was no apparent reason for the block. It seems like Card Cookie doesn't value long-term, repeat customers and instead focuses on attracting new buyers.
Another issue I had with Card Cookie was the lack of communication. When my card was blocked, I wasn't given any information about why or how to resolve the issue. This is a common problem with businesses like this, and it can be incredibly frustrating for customers who just want to make a purchase without any hassle.
In addition to these problems, I also found that Card Cookie's website was glitchy and difficult to navigate. I often found myself getting charged on one screen before the purchase was even approved, which led to charges sticking around on my bank or card for days on end.
Overall, I was very disappointed with my experience using Card Cookie. It seems like they have some serious issues with their payment processing and customer service, and I would not recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and hassle-free way to buy gift cards.
Card Cookie's Unverified Account Policy Cost Me $40 and a Christmas Gift
So, I just tried to buy something on Card Cookie's website for $40. I was excited to get my hands on it, but then the website said there was an error and my card couldn't be processed. What a bummer! But that's not even the worst part. The payment service posted the $40 pending charge to my account, and I was left wondering what was going on.
I reached out to customer support, and they told me that they had to cancel my order because my account was unverified. What? They never even asked for verification before they took my credit card info. I was so frustrated! They said I would get my money back once the pending charge falls off of the account, but with Christmas just around the corner, I doubt I'll see my money before the holiday. It feels like I got cheated out of $40 the week before Christmas, and I'm not happy about it. I won't be giving them any more of my business in the future.
But I have to give credit where credit is due. Customer service was responsive to my emails, and the pending charge was removed from my account. So, I guess that's something. The whole issue seems to be the company's policy of accepting payment from new customers on orders before they are actually willing to accept and process orders from those customers. It's not a great policy, and it left me feeling frustrated and cheated. In the end, I didn't even get the item I wanted, but at least I got my money back after just a few hours.
Card Cookie's Intrusive Verification Process Ruined My Gift Card Purchase Experience
I can't believe the hassle I had to go through just to buy a gift card with a measly discount of less than $10 on Card Cookie (cardcookie.com). I thought I had already given them all the information they needed to verify my purchase, including my credit card info and phone number. But no, two days after I made the purchase, I received an email asking me to upload my ID! What more do they want from me?
I tried taking pictures of my ID on different devices, but the website kept complaining that the document was blurry, even though it was crystal clear. And why do they need my ID anyway? It's a simple gift card purchase using a valid credit card that's easily verifiable. This whole process is too intrusive and ridiculous.
I'm not comfortable sharing my personal information and ID documents over the internet, where they could be stored and abused by random websites. And to think they asked for it two days after I had already verified my phone and credit card number!
Card Cookie should have been upfront about all these hoops they make customers jump through. It's a waste of time and energy, especially for a simple gift card purchase. I feel like they either don't want to do business or they're running some kind of fraud scheme to steal people's money and identities.
I demand a refund to my credit card as soon as possible. If I don't see my money refunded within one business day, I will file a claim with my credit card company. This whole experience has left a bad taste in my mouth, and I won't be using Card Cookie again.
Warning: Stay Away from Card Cookie - My Experience with Their Verification Process
So, I was looking for a website to buy some gift cards and I stumbled upon Card Cookie (cardcookie.com). At first, I thought it was a great website because they had a lot of gift cards available for purchase. However, things took a turn for the worse when I tried to place my order.
After submitting my order, I received a message asking me to verify my bank account information. They wanted me to find a two-digit code on my credit card statement and complete a line with it. But, credit card statements can't receive codes, so I was confused. I decided to email them to ask for help, and they responded with a request for proof of address or identity.
I was hesitant to provide this information, especially since there was no phone number to call for support. But, I really wanted those gift cards, so I sent them a picture of my water bill. Unfortunately, I never heard back from them after that.
Now, I'm worried that my identity has been compromised. I know this doesn't sound right, and I rarely warn people, but I strongly advise you to stay away from Card Cookie. It's just not worth the risk.
Privacy Concerns with CardCookie's Verification Process
So, I got an email from CardCookie after I placed my order and they said they couldn't verify some of my payment information. They wanted to verify my identity before sending me the gift cards. I was like, "okay, that's cool." But then they asked me to submit my selfie with photo ID. I was like, "what the heck?" They said it was facilitated by a company called Stripe.
I read Stripe's privacy policy and they share with CardCookie the personal data you submit and retain it on Stripe's servers for up to 3 years. Photos are saved for 1 year. Personal details including DOB and SSN are saved for 3 years. Stripe by default also uses your biometric data as part of building and training their software.
I don't know how long CardCookie retains your info for. They don't have an address or phone number so it could very well be forever. That's kinda scary, right?
Also, you can only pay with your credit card. They don't accept Paypal or Google Pay to mask your credit card details from them. That's kinda sketchy, don't you think?
I decided to cancel my order because I felt like it was too privacy invasive just to save a few dollars. But to CardCookie's credit, they did cancel my order promptly.
I mean, submitting your photo ID, a current selfie, DOB/SSN info, etc is an incredible security and privacy risk. Especially in an industry that is so often involved with fraud. I'm sorry but it just wasn't worth it to me putting myself at risk for identity theft for years to save a couple bucks.
Avoid CardCookie: Excessive Verification & Poor Customer Service
Their verification process is just too much - I mean, I get it, they want to prevent fraud and all that, but asking for a copy of my passport or state ID just to buy a gift card? That's just ridiculous. And with all the data breaches happening these days, who knows what they're doing with my personal information? I don't want it stored on a bunch of servers for who knows how long. I'd recommend finding another service to use.
And get this - even after I asked them to cancel my order, they went ahead and processed it anyway! What's the point of asking for my request if they're not going to respect it? It's just not right. If a company can't even follow simple instructions, how can I trust them with my personal data? I'd say stay away from CardCookie like it's the plague.
Now I'm stuck dealing with my credit card company and trying to get Stripe, their payment processing company, to purge all my data. It's just a huge hassle that I don't need. I was able to get my gift cards from another vendor with much less hassle and no crazy verification requirements. It's just not worth it to deal with CardCookie.
If you do end up using CardCookie, make sure to keep these email addresses handy: ***@stripe.com, ***@stripe.com, and ***@stripe.com. You might need them to exercise your rights under the CCPA and get your data purged. Trust me, it's not a fun process.
Hidden Gem of the Gift Card Market: My Experience with Strict Security Protocols
This site is really good. I've used them for about $1000 in gift card purchases over the last six months or so. It's a hidden gem of the gift card market. Some people have left negative reviews, but I want to explain why the site has strict requirements for buyers.
If they ask for a copy of your driver's license, it's to verify who you are and match it against what you've entered. You can't enter someone else's information on the site, sorry. If they ask for a utility bill, it's to verify your billing address that your credit card returns with when they tried to process your transaction. They don't keep either of these on file and they destroy them once you've submitted them by email. I confirmed this before I sent mine in. They are professional and nice, so if you have a unique situation, you can always email their support, which is one of the best and fastest I've seen in email. I had a "unique" situation myself, and we were able to work it out.
Once you've been fully verified and the security "kinks" are worked out, you won't get bugged again unless you change your card or information. It's actually super easy after that, like too easy, one-click ordering too easy (no buyer's remorse allowed haha). I've had one or two gift cards that were in some way invalid or someone had sold them still linked to another account, and sending a screenshot of the error and the card information, I had a new one quickly sent to me within about 8 hours. Beautiful! I saved 10% off my target purchase on a vacuum that had no discounts anywhere.
Overall, their security protocols are very strict compared to most sites, and they will make many people question why. We're not used to it as consumers/savvy online shoppers. It's made worse because as security protocols, they can only give you minimal information about what they are requesting and why, otherwise someone would figure out a way around them. So good job reading the reviews first, you're already doing more homework than most. Try them out, you'll be glad you did. (I am!)

Disappointing Experience with Card Cookie: Gift Card Had No Value and No Refund Offered
I bought a gift card from Card Cookie in May 2022, and when I tried to use it in September 2022, it had no money left on it. I was pretty upset about it, so I contacted their customer service team. Unfortunately, they told me that since it had been more than 100 days since I bought the card, they couldn't do anything to help me. They wouldn't even give me a refund for the amount I paid for the card. It felt like they just took my money and ran.
I tried to explain to them that gift cards don't usually expire, so I should at least get the amount I paid for it. But they just repeated their policy to me, saying that they could only cover gift cards for 100 days. I've tried emailing them a few times since then, but they haven't responded to any of my messages.
Honestly, I wouldn't recommend using Card Cookie. It seems like they don't really care about their customers once they've made a sale. There are plenty of other platforms out there that offer gift cards, so I'd suggest looking elsewhere.
Unreliable and Invasive: My Experience with Card Cookie Gift Cards
I gotta say, I'm not too sure about this Card Cookie website. I tried to place an order for some gift cards, but it seems like they just can't get it right. First, I tried to order 10 cards worth $10 each, but they canceled the whole thing because of some issue with just one of the cards. I mean, come on, what about the other 9?
So I figured I'd give it another shot and ordered 5 cards worth $20 each. But nope, they canceled that one too, saying they couldn't verify my credit card. I don't know what their problem is, but I know my card is just fine.
I decided to try one more time and ordered 5 more cards worth $20 each. And what do you know, they canceled it again, saying they couldn't verify my card. I even tried using a different card, but no dice.
To make matters worse, they asked me to upload a photo of my driver's license and my face for verification. Now, I'm not too keen on giving out that kind of personal information, especially when they can't even get a simple order right.
All in all, I'm not too impressed with Card Cookie. I'm not sure if they're legit or not, but I wouldn't recommend taking the risk.
Disappointing Experience with Card Cookie: Invalid Gift Cards and Refusal to Pay
I recently had an experience with Card Cookie that left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I had a few gift cards that I no longer needed, so I decided to sell them on their website. The process was fairly simple, and I was pleased to see that they approved my sale and verified the value of the gift cards.
However, my excitement was short-lived when I received an email from Card Cookie two days later. They informed me that some of the cards were invalid and had a balance of $0. I was shocked and confused because I had triple-checked the balances before selling the cards. I even made sure that Card Cookie verified the balances as well.
To make matters worse, Card Cookie refused to pay me for the gift cards that had a $0 balance. They claimed that I had provided them with inaccurate information, even though I knew for a fact that the cards had their full balance. It was frustrating to see that they had taken my information and spent $125 of my money, only to refuse to pay me for it.
I was left with $125 fewer in gift cards, and I felt like I had been scammed. It was disappointing to see that Card Cookie did not take responsibility for their mistake and instead blamed me for their error. I would not recommend using their services, as my experience was far from satisfactory.

Card Cookie Review: A Total Scam - Stay Away!
Oh my goodness, what a complete and utter hassle! I would seriously advise staying away from Card Cookie, it's a total scam. I had the worst experience trying to send a gift card to my sister. I went ahead and paid, but then received the most nonsensical email I've ever seen - I mean NONSENSE NONSENSE NONSENSE NONSENSE NONSENSE NONSENSE NONSENSE NONSENSE NONSENSE NONSENSE NONSENSE NONSENSE.
Then, they sent me a link under false pretenses, claiming they needed to verify more information. The link took me to a page where I was asked to enter codes... I spoke to my bank about it, but they had no idea what codes they were talking about. I even exchanged emails with someone named Sarah (although I suspect it was someone pretending to be Sarah) and it was just a total con game.
Honestly, I can't stress enough how much of a con game this is. Please, please don't use Card Cookie. I didn't realize it at the time, but most of the positive reviews are either fake or purchased. It's just bogus, bogus, bogus.
Terrible Experience with Card Cookie: Don't Waste Your Time and Money
This was the worst online buying experience I've ever had! I was so excited to find a great deal on Card Cookie for $200 worth of gift cards to $#*!s Sporting Goods. I thought I was saving 15%, which was a great deal. However, my excitement quickly turned into frustration when I received an email a few hours later saying that they needed further verification. I was annoyed, but I sent the code they requested from my bank account anyway. I waited a few more hours and still didn't receive the gift cards. I was getting worried, so I decided to email the company to see what was going on. They told me that I didn't verify my purchase, so I did it again. They assured me that the gift cards were on their way, but after a few more hours, I realized that they were not coming. I was so frustrated that I decided to cancel the order.
Now, I am very concerned because the charge is showing up on my credit card and their website is down for maintenance (it is Sunday) so there's nothing I can do about it right now. I feel like I wasted so much time and effort for nothing. I wish I had read some of the reviews here first before making my purchase.
Overall, I would not recommend Card Cookie to anyone. The process was a complete hassle and I didn't even receive the gift cards that I paid for. It's disappointing that I had to go through all of this trouble just to save a few bucks. I hope that others can learn from my mistake and avoid using this website.
Card Cookie Review: Poor Customer Service and Frustrating Verification Process
I've been using Card Cookie for about a year now and I have to say, it's been quite a hassle. Sure, you save a few bucks by buying discounted gift cards, but the amount of time and peace you lose in the process is just not worth it. The verification process is getting more and more ridiculous and their support is non-existent.
Recently, I encountered a problem with my account being locked out for a week. I had purchased 800 in HD cards and was excited to use them, but instead, I was met with an error message saying to contact support. I sent nine emails to their support team and all I received were generic responses like, "So sorry to hear that..." and "Try logging out and back in."
The problem was that they had locked me out due to a computer system error on their end. Their smug, cavalier, and unresponsive attitude towards my issue only made things worse. I am seriously considering filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and even suing them for their lack of transparency and poor customer service.
Overall, I would not recommend using Card Cookie. The amount of time and frustration you will experience is not worth the few dollars you save. It's better to just purchase gift cards directly from the retailer or use a more reputable gift card reseller.
Disappointing Experience with Card Cookie: $0 Balance on Walmart Gift Card
I've been using Card Cookie for a while now, and I've spent over 10k dollars on gift cards from their website. While I've had some bad experiences with receiving cards with $0 balance, they've always been quick to replace them without any problems. However, my most recent experience with them has left me feeling frustrated.
I purchased a $120 Walmart card from Card Cookie, but when I tried to add it to my Walmart wallet, I found that it had a $0 balance. I contacted Card Cookie about the issue, and they asked me for the spending history of the card. Unfortunately, I couldn't view the history because I couldn't add the card to my wallet with a $0 balance.
Card Cookie suggested that I call Walmart customer service to get the history, but I wasn't the person who bought the card, so I couldn't call them. I explained this to Card Cookie, but they didn't seem to understand my situation. If someone needs to call Walmart, it should be either the person who sold the card to Card Cookie or someone from the company.
I'm disappointed with how this situation has been handled, and if it doesn't get resolved soon, I'll have to call my credit card company to get my money back. I don't think I'll be purchasing any more cards from Card Cookie in the future.
Frustrating Verification Process with CardCookie
CardCookie has been providing me with great customer service for a while now. However, today I received an email from them that said, "We need to verify your identity before sending you the gift cards since we couldn't verify some of your payment information." This was surprising to me since I had already seen a pending CardCookie charge on my MasterCard.
I was then asked to go through the STRIPE verification process, which involved taking photos of my face and driver's license. After completing the process, I received an email that said, "We have carefully reviewed the documentation you provided, but it is not sufficient to verify your account."
I was quite confused and frustrated by this, so I sent several emails to CardCookie asking if I could be re-verified. I explained that my hair was still wet from taking a shower and that I was wearing contacts instead of glasses as shown in my driver's license photo. Unfortunately, it has been over 45 minutes and I have not received a reply yet.
This whole situation is extremely frustrating, especially since I have been successfully using CardCookie gift cards for years. I hope that they can resolve this issue soon and that I can continue to use their services without any further problems.
CardCookie.com Review: Frustrating Login and Purchase Process, Unreliable Customer Service
I've been a regular customer of CardCookie.com for quite some time now, having made several purchases in the past. However, I recently had a frustrating experience with their login and purchase process. It's a complete mess! The site is filled with repeated CAPTCHA and error messages, and it's often unresponsive. It's like being stuck on a hamster wheel, going nowhere fast.
If you're planning to shop on CardCookie.com, be prepared to receive numerous conflicting error messages. And if you're unlucky, you might even get locked out of the site with a message that makes no sense at all. To make matters worse, their customer service is only available by email, and they're very slow to respond. And when they do respond, they're unapologetic for the site's shortcomings.
I have a feeling that something is not right with this company. After reading reviews from other customers, I discovered that CardCookie.com is aware of the site's many issues but has chosen not to resolve or acknowledge them. This is a major red flag for me. It seems like CardCookie.com might have ulterior motives, and the high discount on gift cards is just a lure to get customers in the door.
Overall, I would not recommend shopping on CardCookie.com. The site's many issues make it a frustrating and unreliable experience. If you're looking for a reliable gift card vendor, I suggest looking elsewhere.
Card Cookie Review: Discounted Gift Cards with a Catch
I recently made a purchase on Card Cookie, a website that sells gift cards at a discounted price. I was excited to find a $100 gift card for Cinemark at a 5% discount, thinking I had scored a great deal. However, my excitement quickly turned to disappointment when I received the gift card the next day and realized it had already been used. The message on the website read, "this card is already assigned to another email."
I was frustrated and annoyed, but I decided to contact Card Cookie's customer service to see if they could help me. I had to go through some security measures, which included submitting a picture of my ID and a picture of myself. It felt invasive, but I understood the need for security. The customer service representative was quick to respond and sent me another gift card. Unfortunately, this one had the same issue as the first one.
I contacted customer service again to report the same issue, and I was told that those were the only gift cards they had. They refunded my order and told me to expect my funds to return within 5-10 days. I was disappointed that I had let them borrow my $95 for no reason.
Overall, my experience with Card Cookie was not a good one. If you like gambling with no winnings and extra headaches, then this might be the website for you. However, if you want to avoid the hassle and stick to verified gift cards, then I recommend using mainstream sites instead.
I paid for 2 $50 Bass Pro gift cards. One on 9/3 and one on 9/5. I have received neither of these cards via email.
