I am having issues with CareCredit not fixing inaccuracies in my account and not handling a disputed transaction correctly. I prepaid for a dental service that I cancelled after realizing how terrible they were at dental work, my bite was far off from where it should have been from work they did. I contacted them informing them I will be canceling the services and asking only for the prepayment that was charged on CareCredit back. Never heard back from them other than from their lawyer telling me to just go back in and do the service.
I gave CareCredit all of the information on this and ended up having to dispute the charge. They didn’t review my account properly and just randomly, periodically, took my account off of being in dispute. Eventually I received information that they were refunding me for the services. I waited to make sure it was real, as I had already been dealing with this for years! I talked to multiple customer service representatives to verify that they had in fact refunded me and got a check. Well as soon as I cashed the check, which of course wasn’t for the full amount due to having a balance on the account from that charge, they charged me for the entire initial amount. I disputed it, many times again, and they agreed and I was assured by multiple customer service representatives that the dispute was successful for the full amount and would no longer have a balance. Then only “refunded” it partially at that point and then shortly after that they randomly increased the balance amount back to the full original amount again. Now I have random charges on my account and late fees etc for an account that should have been settled already and at the very least should still be under dispute as I filled another dispute. Now the customer support agents can’t help me as my account has been so messed up that no one understands what they are doing. It’s almost fours years of me dealing with this now.
