I am writing to express my utmost disappointment and frustration with the recent experience I had with Carrefour delivery service. 8/10/2023 I placed an order through your online application in Abu Dhabi, with an estimated delivery time of 60 minutes. However, the delivery took an exorbitant amount of time, approximately 3 hours, causing significant inconvenience and disruption to my schedule.
To make matters worse, the delivery time was changed multiple times without any prior notification. This lack of communication left me and my family in a state of uncertainty, as we had to repeatedly adjust our plans and wait for the delivery to arrive. As a result, my children's dinner was delayed, and we experienced unnecessary stress and inconvenience.
I find it highly disappointing that there were no updates from your team regarding the delay until I raised a complaint through the online application. It is the responsibility of the delivery service to keep customers informed about any changes to the estimated delivery time, especially when such delays significantly impact their daily routines.
I understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, leading to delays in delivery. However, it is essential for Carrefour International to have efficient systems in place to promptly communicate with customers when such delays occur. This would enable customers to make alternate arrangements and minimize the inconvenience caused.
I kindly request that you investigate this matter thoroughly and take appropriate measures to prevent such incidents from happening in the future. Additionally, I would appreciate compensation for the inconvenience, stress, and disruption caused by the delayed delivery and lack of communication.
I value Carrefour International as a reputable and customer-focused company, and I believe that my concerns will be addressed promptly and satisfactorily. I look forward to receiving a response within 10 business days to discuss the resolution of this matter.
