Employee told me our trip was canceled, but it was not.
We originally booked a trip before Covid, but that obviously didn't happen. We rebooked for this summer. My passport was being renewed, but after 3 months, I realized I may have to postpone the trip again. I called multiple time to figure out what penalties I would get and when I had to make my decision by. I was told I had until June 26th to cancel my hotel and receive credits back, but the flight is not refundable (fair enough, I booked it). So I called back on June 26th to cancel my reservation. The man I spoke to told me that my reservation was canceled and that I would receive my full booking amount in travel credits. I was shocked, but grateful. Fast forward to today. I'm trying to rebook a new vacation and I called to schedule. Apparently my reservation was never canceled. Because of that, I have lost my entire amount, and the person I spoke with refused to transfer me to anyone else. She told me to just call back and try to get someone "more experienced". Cheap Caribbean just scammed me out of $900 of refunded credits.

Update: No one has responded to my emails to the address listed above. I did manage to contact a representative via phone after two weeks of calling and leaving messages for multiple people. She tried to blame the hotel for this issue, and said she would get back to me when she pulled the recording of the phone call (which clearly states that I canceled my reservation and was receiving a travel credit). Not surprisingly, she hasn’t called me back. Save yourself some money, and book elsewhere. My husband, a lawyer, advised we take it to small claims court to possibly see a resolution.
I emailed, as instructed above, on 6/30 and 7/2. I’m still awaiting a response.

I have booked a vacation during Covid 19, on March 11, 2020. When I cancelled due to Covid 19, and airline canceled my flight, Cheap Carribean kept my money and never returned it. I know you have 2441.20 of my money, and I still don't travel due to Covid, having underlying conditions.
I have confirmed with the airline, that a FULL REFUND was made to Cheap Carribean under reservations #Y07A00CJ. I have an email from Frontier Airlines confirming this refund. I have kept my money for more than 1 year and I need my money back, the full refund of 2441.20.
Also, the airline issued yet another refund to Cheap Carribean for a cancelled flight that was supposed to take place in November. The refund was made on my behalf in the amount of 423.72 under agency number [protected], to your corporate master card ending with 3922, transaction #[protected]. In total you are holding $2, 864.92.
I am not going to give this money away to your company and how do you have the right to keep money that was fully refunded to you and you need to return to me?

Travel credit not applied to vacation, leaving in less than 48 hours
I have spent hours emailing and waiting on hold with cheap caribbean. It is now less than 48 hours until I am supposed to leave and my credit has not been applied so I do not have my official itinerary.
My reservation number is T2X1A0CJ. Please let me know that the travel credit has been applied and email me the itinerary.
Agent did not call back as she stated she would, causing the 24 hour time frame to exceed in order to make changes or cancel a trip.
Greetings, my name is L. Best. This is my 4th time booking with Cheap Caribbean and I am highly dissatisfied! On Monday, May 3rd at 5:38 pm I booked with Arantza Diaz. At the time of purchase we were unable to apply a SAVE175 promo code. Ms. Diaz informed me she would call me back before end of day once she spoke with a supervisor regarding the matter. She stated she got off work at 8pm and that was plenty of time for her to speak with a manager and call me back. I never received a call back. On Tuesday May 4 6:48am, I emailed her back requesting an update. Also, on May 4, I received notification from my business bank that a purchase was made in the amount of $1, 756.72. Unfortunately, I mistakenly provided Diaz the incorrect card. I was supposed to provide her my personal card info and not my business card info. So I called Cheap Caribbean and requested that she give me a call back because the representative stated she was unavailable at the moment. I never hear from Diaz! On Wednesday May 5 I called and spoke with L. Guirales. I informed her that I would like to pay my balance in full, but that I would like to request a change of payment. She informed me that she would have to contact the support team to complete this request. She then informed me that customer support wants to charge me $40 to change the form of payment since it had exceeded the 24 hours. I refused that as an option. I informed her that if Diaz had gotten back to me as she stated she would on the recorded line that we would not even be in this predicament. We would have been within the 24 hour time frame to change the form of payment and the trip would have been fully and completely booked. As I type this message I am on hold with Guirales while she gets a supervisor to speak with me after several attempts to reach out to management. She states her manager is sick in the hospital and she is having a hard time getting another manager to assist. That is also unacceptable! There should be more than one available manager with Cheap Caribbean in case of an emergency such as an employee needing to take some sick time. I would like 1) to change the form of payment without paying the additional fees OR 2) be provided a full refund and process the exact reservation including a price match and then I will be more than willing to pay in full. Mistakes by cheap caribbean and credits
Where to start? Our family, friends and ourselves have been using Cheap Caribbean for years and no problems until 2021. So, we have reservations for Riviera Maya in March 2021. Weeks before our trip Spirit Airlines changed our flights and we couldn't do that so we got future credits to use and had to switch our Riviera Maya trip to May and move our Jamaica trip to March, both witn"CC". So, At the airport for our Jamaica trip in March and "CC" screwed up and put both our flights in my name. So after "CC" promising to get us to Jamiaca the next day and after more Covid tests and 14 hours of phone calls, they were unable to get us to Jamaica. So, a manager named "BETH" got us a complete refund for that trip and gave us each a $250.00 credit to apply to our May Mexico trip! Well, Spirit cancelled our flights for MAy and "CC" found us other flights for $800.00 more. GEE< Thanks! So, Spirit screwed us over twice and I understand its not "CC" fault but now we tried to rebook the same Mexice trip for June and Cheap Caribbean does not want to extend the Credits that "BETH-Manager gave us for the Jamaica screw us and to make things worse, they want to give us more SPirit airlines credit. No thanks, The price of our May trip to Mexico is almost exactly what the trip will be in June but now they say in an email yesterday that we have to wait until 21 days before our trip to transfer credits. How in the world do people make plans like that? We have phone records and"CC"records everything as well and we have spent over 20 hours on hold and very little time actually speaking with somebody. We are not asking for anything unreasonable. We just want the money we spent for our trip transferred to our new trip and no more frickin credits with Spirit airlines. I dont care how many hundreds of people you claim in the email have problems too. No other company I have ever dealt with in my 60 years on this planet have given us worse service. We will be writing board of directors, BBB and whoever we can until this problem is resolved. How can a company go from giving good service and no problems to a complete flop? My god, we had 3 vacations planned with Cheap Caribbean this year. We cant even book 1 now as all our money is tied up in credits we cant use, Lastly, when we call, the"Beachologist" has to read our notes which takes anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes on hold to read and then, they are unable to help. We ask for a manager every time but they need to read the notes which takes time and then they cant help anyway! Sorry for the length but its hard to condense any more than this!

Cancun Vacation
I have called your company (multiple times) trying to get my vacation paid with travel credits owed to me. Now i am 5 days from departure and still no payment has been made. I tried to pre register with the resort but can not as my trip is not paid for. Today your representative Yame would not transfer me to a supervisor and then hung up on me. I want this paid for today so i can finish my vacation plans. I paid for this vacation over 16 months ago there is no reason it is still pendind 5 days BEFORE DEPATURE. there are 4 other rooms on this trip with me they all need to be confirmed and paid today.

Request a refund - trip cancelation due to covid

My trip was canceled due to covid I have been requesting a refund. I have explained my financial situation to them. Instead they lie over and over as to why I can't get my refund. This is absolutely unacceptable and I will fight to get my refund.

Itinerary
I originally booked an itinerary with your company February 16th, 2020. for April 10, 2020-April 15, 2020 in the amount of $5, 458.84. Due to the pandemic and worldwide country as well as border closures, I was forced not to vacation.
I have been in contact with Cheap Caribbean in numerous occasions without success. I would like to book a vacation from March 29-April 5th 2021 or within that period and within the same amount to be able to use the credits with the company. This is the only time I can go since it's when my son is off of school.
I was finally able to speak to a representative who was trying to help, it took over an hour on the phone and after discussing all the details and expressing the fact that I need a non-stop flight multiple times because I'm a healthcare worker and want to avoid exposure as much as possible, the agent booked the itinerary and charged my card an additional $138.44.
When I received the confirmation email, I noticed the flight had 1 stop. The agent was apologetic and stated my credit card would be refunded. I have not been refunded the $138.44 and have not been able to book a vacation. I have sent an email to the company and there is still no response. I was pretty much robbed $5, 597.28.
At this point, I'm disappointed with the customer service and how this has been handled by the companies representatives.

My issue has been raised to your customer service personnel and an email has also been sent to the email you provided. To date there has been no response from social team or acknowledgement of wrong doing from your company.
It is despicable that your company conducts its business in such deceiving manner.

I had to cancel my vacation to Aruba in early sept for travel in dec. 6 months later and several phone calls still no voucher. Today I spent HOURS on the phone trying to resolve it and waiting on hold for a supervisor only to be told they wouldn't take my call or call me later! Great customer service. I'm trying to book a new trip leaving in 2 weeks but your lack of prompt customer service is preventing that! My voucher is for 3212.00 and I need it ASAP. I've booked with you almost -0 times but if this is not resolved immediately I will never again nor will I recommend you to anyone!

We booked an All Inclusive vacation to Cancun for April 2020. The trip was canceled due to COVID-19 so we rebooked for February of 2021. We want to cancel the trip or even would consider moving it to 2022 because of the mandate that we have a negative COVID-19 test to return to the U.S., and we work in education and would have to quarantine. We are not comfortable taking our children to some lab in Mexico for a test or to Mexico at all right now. More importantly if one of us contracts COVID-19 we will not be able to come back into the country. Can you imagine?
Cheap Caribbean will not accommodate either request. Disgusting that a company would treat a consumer this way during a world wide pandemic where the guidance is NOT to travel to Mexico. We will never do business with CHEAPCaribbean again and are disappointed that they have no concern for putting people in harms way. Their preference is to make money now rather than do the right thing and keep people safe.
We have called every number and Corporate to try to remedy this and fine someone at CHEAPCaribbean that will do the right thing. We never get call backs and/or we get hung up on. We are beyond frustrated and disappointed and just plain disgusted by the lack of empathy this company is showing their consumers during a very unpredictable and difficult time for the world.

Not refunding cancelled reservation
On November 28, I booked a vacation for 3 guests to a Riviera Maya Resort - Valentin Imperial Maya. My reservation # is 8B9100CJ. The reservation was originally made for 3 guests. Two days later, one of the three guests fell ill and I called to cancer their reservation. Cheap Caribbean (true to their name) charged me $300 to cancel their reservation and then denied my request for a refund for the remaining $1781.00
They stated that they only issue credit and not refunds even though their website did not state that at the time their reservation was made. The resort's actual website states that they will issue a full refund up to 48 hrs. It appears Cheap Caribbean is using unscrupulous and underhanded tactics to hold on to the customer's money. Their actions equate to highway robbery. Last time I will ever use this company to book a vacation.

I'm unable to reach anybody my flight was changed I don't know anything about my vacation I don't have anybody to ask questions to and it's a 4 to 5 hour wait on hold who has that kind of time I've emailed in several times not gotten any responses. Worst experience ever. I booked a trip to Jamaica and had to cancel due to covid. I was told I would be refunded partially in 30-60 days (didn't happen). I called and stayed on hold for 2 hours and 13 minutes for the agent to be rude and also say it's 90 days. So here we are past the 90 days and I'm being told it's an estimated time and to wait another month or so then call back. They are complete crooks. I have told my family as well as my coworkers at a well known bank not to book. My last resort is the only idea I could come with and that was to send this information along with my recorded calls to my lawyer. Fingers crossed he'll get me all my money back plus some from this deceptive company.

The company wants to issue me a voucher for the vacation to be used by next July. First of all the Aruba vacation was all inclusive, in the future there will be no more all you can eat buffets, will there be social distancing and wearing face masks on beaches and in all restarants? No matter this will never be the vacation I paid for! As I write this complaint the USA isnt allowed to travel to many countries as our outbreak continues to climb. No one knows when it will be safe to travel again. I along with my husband are both senior citizens with health conditions, I am a type one diabetic and my husband is a 6 month cancer survivor with a compromised immune system due to radiation treatments.Thus our reasons for wanting a full refund. Trying to speak with someone
I have received a couple of emails about a change in flights for my upcoming trip. I recognize that due to the virus that their lines are busy, but I waited on hold for an hour and a half before getting in touch with someone. When I finally did connect, I still spent more time on hold than speaking with him. He asked to put me on a hold at 11:18am eastern time and after 3 hours of being on the phone, they just disconnected me before my question was resolved. I am very unsatisfied with their customer service.

This company is great at getting you booked. It's just so easy online. HOWEVER, if you have to call them or make any changes FOR ANY REASON, good luck. Hold times are hours. They don't provide refunds, changes or credits without charging you more. There is no sympathy to your story. They just don't care. They hope to wear you down with the long hold times. I wanted on hold 3 hours to get one agent. They were happy to charge me more with out really caring about my situation. I sent tons of emails to which there was no reply. In the end they just blamed Jet blue. I wrote to the corporate office of Jet blue and it was completely false. I suggested that they speak to this company that is blaming them. I won't book with this place again especially given their blame games. Waste of time any money.

I stayed at the Riu Paradise Island Bahamas October 17th-October 22nd 2019 on my first day there with my 72 year old mother who is partially disabled our room 730 ocean front junior suite was completely flooded out by our next door neighbor who fell asleep in the tub drunk and the water went down 6 floors .why was there such an intoxicated person in that hotel, that's not a safe feeling for other customers especially myself and my mother . The manager of the hotel came into our room to do all the paperwork needed for records, it took them 2 hours to move us to room 530, all of our clothes were soaked as well as our suitcases . we didn't eat dinner that night because we had no room to shower in to get ready for dinner . we finally got a room at 8 pm where our keys didn't work my poor mother had to sit on the floor in the hallway waiting for me to get back from the front desk because it was so far to walk to the elevator and that's why I requested the first floor ocean junior suite room when I booked our trip months ago but when we got to the hotel our room was 730 which started off the frustration .So then I settled her in and went down to get some food from the buffet at 11 pm came back to the room where the keys didn't work again she had to get out of bed to let me in . We had no television until 12 midnight our first day was completely ruined which in turn wasn't very settling for the week we were there . To top off our vacation we went for a lobster dinner the night before we left and my mom got food poisoning and threw up for four hours .We saved money for over a year to have had the worst vacation in our lives. We are requesting a compensation from your hotel of a week's stay .

We booked the trip through the company www.cheapcaribbean.com. We got all info and as we understood it, the cruise was included in the price. When we arrived at the hotel, it turned out that the company fooled us and they took our money, but they haven’t paid for the cruise. We tried to reach these thieves, but their phone was switched off and they ignored our emails. Don’t buy any travel packages from them.
