Their 1-2 day delivery is nothing but fake promise. They don't deliver so fast so don't expect to get your items any time soon. I placed my order on Monday but two days later it did not show up.
When I contacted Chewy support their rep said that it'll take no less than two weeks to deliver to my location!
What wasn't there any information about that on their site? I am very disappointed because these guys are very unprofessional and I don't want to deal with such a company in the future. I was expecting my items but had to wait two extra weeks. Terrible!
The post above is absolutely NOT the norm for Chewy's. I've never had merchandise delivered as fast at Chewy's does. They are amazing. There must be some particular reason for a delivery that takes that long. Out of the country? These are lies. Very happy with them every single time.
My order was placed 4 days ago and when I checked tracking it said it will be delivered in two more days. One week is not two days. If I had known I would have just gone to the store. Chewy was a costly mistake. I had to spend double because I cant wait a week to feed my dog. This was my first and last order with Chewy.
I also wanted to state that I live in Missouri and not out of the U.S. I talked to my mother who used chewy and lives in Arizona, her order took over a week.
First, your captcha requirement is ridiculous. Rethink that stupid thing. I have been waiting since Aug. 2 nd when I placed my order (it is now Aug. 11th) to get my order and twice I have been told it would be delivered by Fed EX and is has not...but why was my canned dog food a product very common sent from OHIO when they have a warehouse 90 miles from me? That makes absolutely no sense. At this point since it basically has become false advertisement ...why not file a class action suit against Chewy to at least either stop saying 2 to 3 days delivery (and I did ask if that was true to my location"oh yes ma'am)
so I will not order from this company again. This is the second chance I gave them to simply fill the order as promised 2 to 3 days. That is nothing but a untrue promise, worse they know it. With that being said I
know have to question everything about their company and the products they sell. If you need food in that promised time frame ...forget it your not going to get it. Order on line from Petsmart or walmart and you will get your product as promised apparently those two companies care about their reputation.
I have been using Chewy for my dog's frozen raw food for over three years. Normally, I would have the food within 2-3 days. The food arrived packed well and never was near thawing, even if it sat on the porch for a couple of hours. However, lately, I wait and wait to hear if my order has shipped, only to find out a week or so later that the item is out of stock. I'm not sure if there is a problem with Chewy or the food manufacturer or the supply chain. I'm going to have to switch brands and buy from a local vendor, because I can't count on the food arriving in time. That said, I have always been very satisfied with Chewy, their prices, their customer service is stellar, and they have a huge selection of products. I may try back in a few months to see if the issues have been fixed. It's so nice having that heavy frozen food delivered right to my door step.
