Choice Home Warranty review: Built in microwave

My Viking microwave display panel went out and you cant tell the time, minutes hours or seconds it is set to run for, everything else works but a technician said the part to fix it was no longer being made. I filed a claim under my Choice Home Warranty plan. They insisted the technician file the claim, which he did. They sent several messages indicating they did not have a repairman that covered viking microwaves in my area. So I had to go find the repairman and I did. The parts are no longer available but I received a very low-ball offer of $403 for replacing my built in microwave. I called around to various places to see what a new Viking Microwave cost and discovered it would be over 1200$ to replace it. I called back your claims office and your people denied any further consideration for replacing my Built in Microwave, which clearly was a selling point that your sales staff used to sell me the home warranty policy. Clearly it says that CHW will replace a built in Microwave. However, in the fine print it also says that it will replace the microwave but with builders grade and no consideration for size cu ft etc. Now they wont cover stand alone Microwaves but they only compensate you for a stand alone microwave in place of a built-in microwave, even though they clearly say they replace built in microwaves. When I asked how they arrived at the 403$ payment to replace a built in microwave, they offered no reasonable answer, they just said they can buy appliances at wholesale. So I accepted their ability for them to replace my built in microwave with a wholesale microwave and they said they don't sell microwaves. Since they clearly are just making [censored] up regarding what prices they will pay, I find these people to be liars, cheats, and despicable people. Clearly their claims people love to do this and take great joy. I had to leave 4 messages both by phone and email to get them to return my phone calls. The really dont care if they close the case or if it stays open for eternity. Shame on the authorities for allowing these people to continue selling home warranty under false pretenses.
